Guest: Omar: Mostly what happens after a battle is the city is occupied militarily and the soldiers there begin cleanup and aid the civilians in finding their homes, loved ones, etc. Also why would I put cryptoids in this story? That doesn't fit the setting at all.

Situation Room - White House - Washington - United States of America - 2:38am EST - July 11 1989

President Bush looked over the recent battle reports. Mexico City and Paris had been won, Petrograd was under siege, and the CIS had been expelled from Vladivostok. Long Island had been retaken along with Los Angeles, and the CIS only now held Petrograd, northern Russia, Hokkaido, Svalbard, Greenland, and parts of Ruthenia. They were currently attacking Nanjing, New Delhi, and Tehran.

Vice President Quayle sunk into a chair next to the President. "It's only a matter of time." He said. Bush nodded. "The battle above is still inconclusive. Republic and CIS reinforcements have arrived."

Indeed, this was true, Republic and Confederacy reinforcements had greatly expanded the battle, and, without a clear winner, it seemed the fight would go on. Suddenly, a man entered the Sit Room. "General Cal." Bush said. Four-star General David Gerald Cal of the United States Army saluted the president. "President Bush, it is an honor." "General, let it be known I hope your new command proves its worth." Cal smiled. "It will, sir."

General Cal's new command was the United States Cyber Command, created by President Bush and approved by both chambers of Congress. The USCC would be tasked with cyber warfare, a helpful thing in this new age. Cal himself had seen the power of emerging computer technology, and had been lobbying Washington to create such a command since 1985.

"Your first assignment I assume you already know." Bush said. Cal nodded. "Yes sir. I already got my team using Republic equipment to do it."

Cal's mission was top secret, and known only as Operation Rewire.

Battle of Tokyo

Tokyo - Japanese Federation - 5:40pm JST - July 12 1989

Japan, a nation that had gone through much in only 90 years. Going from an isolated island kingdom, to a grand sea empire, to a small democracy and staunch ally of the US and Germany, was now preparing for a fight like no other. Having been attacked in the Third Great War, Japan was not unprepared for this new fight, with 20,000 troops in the capital, joined by 10,000 Americans and 40,000 clones of the 41st Elite Corps. Commanding these clones was Commander Gree, together with Jedi Master Yoda.

Yoda, Gree and various Japanese and American officers stood outside the National Diet Building, with a guard of around 200. General David Cal was with them, his mission currently being carried out. Alas, none of the clones or Japs knew it, hell, hardly any Americans did. This better fucking work. Cal thought. "THEY'RE COMING!" the voice crackled through the commlinks each officer and soldier carried, the call of a clone lookout. 400,000 droids were now marching on the Japanese capital. Cal gulped as he, Gree and Yoda were ushered inside the Diet Building and into a bunker.

The USAF began engaging Separatist craft, once again showing the superiority of Terran craft to anything produced by the CIS. It made Gree a bit envious, watching from a screen as Separatist ships exploded out of no-where due to the Terrans, as Republic craft struggled against the Seps. Meanwhile, in the Tokyo Bay, US Navy ships turned on their deck guns and blasted away at the Seps, displaying the power and might of Terra's water navies.

The first parts of the droid forces began to encounter the dug in defenders, many of them Japanese who refused to see their homeland fall. Droid tanks blasted away at defensive positions, often destroying multiple buildings at once and killing hundreds of civilians. Several Hyena bombers managed to drop their payloads over the dense city, slaughtering thousands of civilians and turning entire blocks to rubble.

However, the defenses in the city's west and north held, killing around 30,000 droids and seriously hampering the initial invasion. The droids pulled back, then attacked with swift piercer attacks numbering tens of thousands, succeeding in breaking the first line of defense. The second line began to fire, but soon quickly fell as north and west Tokyo began to fall under control of the Confederacy.

The third line of defense, backed up by American and Republic tanks, held off the droids, killing about 60,000, and disabling many CIS vehicles. The droids retreated and consolidated their gains around the north/west outer districts of Tokyo. They began to move thousands of droids through the city streets, gunning for any weak spot in the defense. As it happened, they found one, crashing through the third line and spreading to attack other defenders from behind.

The third defense line collapsed, leaving only two more before the droids would break through and take the city. "C'mon." Cal muttered to himself in the bunker. Yoda activated his lightsaber and headed out onto the street, as Terrans and clones rushed forward to reinforce the defensive lines. Another 10,000 droids had been trashed, in total 100,000 units had been destroyed.

However, around 30,000 Terrans/clones had died, reducing them to around 40,000. Most of the Americans and Japanese were dead, leaving the clones as the bulk force in the Japanese capital.

Soo, the fourth line of defense was breaking, forcing the defending troops to all consolidate around the fifth and last line. Now most of the city lay in Separatist hands. Yoda grimaced as he watched the first few skirmishes begin. Inside the bunker, the Japanese President, Prime Minister, and a group of Japanese generals stood, nervously. Cal and Gree looked at each other. Suddenly, Cal's pager began to blink. "Now." He said to the room.

"THEY'RE BREAKING THRO-" The alert was cut short by a blaster shot, killing the soldier as the Terrans and clones fell back, while the droids kept advancing. Another 5,000 droids had been killed, barely putting a dent in the remaining Separatist forces. The fifth line began to crack, the droids probing for any weak spots at the cost of thousands of units.

Yoda watched as the fifth line began to break, the first droids approaching the Diet building. The small Jedi master charged, slicing the first few droids as the fifth line retreated. "FALL BACK, FALL BACK!" cried a clone as the droids continued to break the final line. Yoda smiled softly. Suddenly, the droids charging at him began to convulse and collapse. Across the city, this continued, until around half the remaining droids had fallen. Then, they began to stand. And they turned their guns around.

Half of the droid force began to attack the other as utter chaos broke out in Tokyo. Cal, Gree and the Japanese leaders emerged, Cal grinning. "What is happening?!" the Japanese President demanded. "They've been reprogrammed!" Cal said, beaming. "They are now part of the United States Army!"

No battle in history had turned so quickly as the split droid force continued to clash, it was utter chaos, many droids not aware of who to shoot at. Eventually, the now American-aligned droids won the day, killing their commanders and handing the Battle of Tokyo to Terra.

Battle of Nanjing

Nanjing - Republic of China - 6:20pm CST - July 12 1989

China was a complex nation.

Having been a close ally to the US and Germany throughout the Cold War and Great War III, the Asian state had drifted away from its western allies post-war, and had been extremely suspicious of the Republic. Indeed, many Chinese wanted to ally with the Seppies. However, that was now out the window as the Chinese capital was under assault.

The Chinese Air Force had been mostly destroyed already, letting the CIS enjoy an easy air victory. However, the Chinese Army was amassing around the city, and they were ready for a fight. The droids began to fight to Chinese, quickly much of the city was obliterated due to heavy bombing from the CIS. "INCOMING!" a Chinese soldier screamed as a bomb struck a city street, obliterating its battalion and erasing 300 Chinese.

The Chinese forces were routed, and thrown into chaos, however, they were not done fighting, instead, they were now tougher than ever, killing hundreds upon hundreds of droid units. The droids were moving in total 200,000 units into the Chinese capital city, and had successfully taken all roads leading out of it. Clearly, this would be an easy Separatist victory.

But the soldiers now trapped inside the city refused to believe that. They refused to let the capital fall. Thus, they kept fighting, on and on and on, losing thousands of men per minute. Fighting soon grew savager and savager by the minute, with many Chinese using up their rifles, forcing them to resort to pistols, knives, sticks, and even cars loaded with bombs. This desperation managed to slightly hold back the advancing droids, and dealt some decent damage to them.

Molotov cocktails proved useful against the CIS, as did things so simple as pouring water buckets on droid squads. Droids would be electrocuted and shut off by water puddles with knocked over streetlights in them, their exposed wiring creating an electrical current. Increasingly the Chinese used more and more guerilla tactics, joined by the citizens of Nanjing, who were shown no mercy by the cold, emotionless droids.

Many citizens were shot to death in their own homes, stores, and cars. And the Separatists kept going. It truly put into perspective for the Chinese what type of enemy this was. They lacked any emotion, any empathy, any sense of mercy at all. Their orders were to kill, and kill as fast as possible. They were not human. And thus, would be treated as such.

The tactics of the increasingly desperate Chinese managed to wear down the advancing Separatists, but very little, they were not about to be stopped by a few car bombs, beer bottles, and water puddles. AAT tanks smashed through buildings, and MTTs crushed homes and trees. Skyscrapers were shattered and collapsed, covering the city in dust and debris as CIS bombs destroyed their inner structures.

These collapses killed thousands of Chinese, but also killed thousands of droids, alas, these losses were disproportionate to the Chinese, who could not afford such extreme losses. However, they were trapped in the city. What hope was there? "There is always hope." The Chinese commander addressed his dirty, disheveled troops, who were assembled in a metro station. "We must hold out hope that the rest of our army will arrive and liberate the capital. Until then, we must do as much damage as possible to the enemy."

The men looked at each other, then straightened into attention, and saluted. "Now, let's go show those metal bastards what the Chinese people are made of!" The soldiers seized their guns and charged out of the metro, encountering a droid squad. they gunned it down, in the process loosing around ten men. The small force began to move through the streets, taking out hundreds of droids while only loosing around 16 men. However, they were soon down to just twenty troops. How long would they last?

The Chinese in total had less then 10,000 troops, and, sadly, the reinforcements the remaining defenders hoped were coming, weren't. Instead, they were heading to Shanghai. Nanjing was being abandoned to its fate. Hours went by, and this reality began to sink in, disheartening the defensive forces. Eventually, they just gave up. Thousands surrendered to the droids, and were executed rapidly. The droids took no prisoners.

Nanjing fell to the droids, with a few hundred resisters rapidly being killed off.

Second Battle of Sol

Above Terra - Sol System - Space

17 CIS capitals were now near or above Terra. The Republic/Terran Navies had been forced to retreat to Terra, now an enormous battle was waged. Reinforcements for both kept coming, as the battle became visible to people on the ground. Citizens stared in horror at the sky, many began to usher their families into bunkers and basements, wrapping their children in blankets and whispering soothing words.

In the President's Bunker, George Bush knew that Terra's survival was in his hands. With a sigh, a prayer, and a lot of hope, he gave the order. "Now." He breathed, so silently hardly anyone in the bunker could hear him. A message was sent to Germany, where, in the bunker, Chancellor Kohl said a prayer, and gave the order.

Across both superpowers, specialized jets began to take off as nuclear rockets lifted out of their bunkers and began to streak towards the sky. The jets, meanwhile, flew high into near-orbit, their bottoms opening and rockets falling out. The rockets fell for about 1 second before their thrusters activated, carrying them far into space.

CIS ships in Terra's near-orbit were obliterated by ground-launched ICBMs, which penetrated shields and caused massive explosions, as Grievous frantically looked around. He had no idea what the hell was happening, only that every one of his ships was now randomly exploding. Nuclear rockets launched from near-orbit streaked farther into space, striking more Separatist capitals down. In a near instant, 70% of the Confederacy's force in Sol had been destroyed. "WHAT IS HAPPENING?" Grievous shouted.

"The Terrans launched missiles, sir!" a droid shouted back. "IMPOSSIBLE! They don't have missiles powerful enough!" "Sir," another shouted. "We're detecting enormous amounts of radiation being ejected into space, we should probably retreat." How? how could these Terrans, who hadn't even mastered a basic hyperdrive, build a missile powerful enough to destroy a capital ship?

"Full retreat!" Grievous ordered. The few remaining CIS craft turned-tail and fled, jumping to hyperspace and evacuating the system. Having abandoned the ground forces, the remaining droids on Terra were rapidly dealt with, as Petrograd fell, Svalbard and Greenland were reprogrammed, and Hokkaido was retaken. Nanjing, while held by the CIS, was now abandoned without reinforcements, meaning a Sino-clone force could easy take it back.

Bush, in his bunker, shed a tear, a tear of joy. Terra was safe. The invaders had been defeated. Suddenly feeling weak, the US President sunk into a chair, breathing a sigh of relief.

Terra was won.

Glory to Terra.

So, now the War on Terra is officially over, next chapters will document the rise of Terra galactically and its role in the Clone Wars. I will not include actual TCW episodes, instead I will mostly focus on important battles and how Terra's inclusion will change them.

As always, leave a review with questions/suggestions.
