"Or maybe you privately were wishing?", Tony smirked as Reva blushed, "Well, maybe... I don't fully remember if maybe the thought had crossed my mind, but I get more of a stronger feeling it was because of Loki.".
Loki blinked in astonishment, "I...I somehow made it possible...But I am not a mutant, a Quantonium person...Am I still a human?", looking a bit scared, and Reva walked over to him, "Hey, hey, listen to me, no matter what you are, you are always human with your emotions and everything, and I, we love you for that, and this child is all ours, yours, mine, and Tony's.", taking Loki's hand to rest on her belly, with Tony joining them, having a soft, firm smile.
"Reva is right, Loki. You are our star, the third part of our triad together, and nothing will never change that...I'm both scared and excited too, but this child got two daddies and a mom, and everybody else gotta be jealous of that, hmm?", Tony reassured him before smirking wryly.
"At least in Libra Haven, that's for sure.", Reva chuckled as she took a deep breath. "Still quite a lot of questions that I would like some answers." "Like how long it might take for the child to grow?", Tony asked.
Reva nodded, "Well, it's been a month, so, the baby would be clearly 2 months old in age within the womb, but yes, I see your point...Mixed of Quantoniun, human, and Loki's lineage...Either way, we can find out way later in the new day...This early, I am fine to continue some more in lovemaking, and I might be slowly getting horny.", fluttering her eyes and purring as she kissed Loki and Tony's sensitive spots around their ears.
"It's getting fairly late tonight, you sure you two can keep up?", Reva teased as she slowly started to strip, removing her clothes.
Loki grinned, "Oh, more than you could believe it. Right, Tony?", and Tony chuckled, "Now the mood's coming back on. Let's make this a spectacular night to remember.", before the boys moved on to ravish Reva, carrying her together to the bed, and resume their previous session, but with fervor this time.
Indeed, the Fourth of July was quite a day to remember for all who was involved, and once the triad woke up in the morning, they found pictures on Tony's cell phone, revealing little Abby, and Tony was beyond exalted to be a big brother to a little sister, falling in love with Abby already, and knew that Henry is definitely over the moon as well, and of course, Susan as well, knowing her to be so overjoyed for her parents, intending to be a wonderful big sister.
And they soon realized that with the child within Reva, it's a whole spectrum of family connections...Steve and Peggy would be grandparents, along with Bucky and Tara, with the grown kids being uncles and aunts...and much more...
The triad returned home to Libra Haven, and talked to Beast who helped out with the sonogram and all, and discovered that the baby was not quite 2 months old in age, but rather 1 and a half months old, figuring with the pace of the Quantonium, human genes, and Loki's genes, the baby would either be born within 6 or 7 months down the road, adding up to 9 months of age for the baby, theoretically speaking.
"I'm still curious though about Loki.", Beast said as he and Reva were alone, Tony and Loki were elsewhere as Reva assured them that they didn't have to be with her for this moment since there wasn't much to the child's development at this point. "Have either of you managed to at least maybe somehow got him to remember anything?".
Reva sighed deeply, "There was a couple of nightmares occasionally, but when he wakes up, it's like fleeting, and he couldn't catch them, but he doesn't want to as he was practically in sweat and tears when I and Tony checked on him...I think it was from the fall up there...Would you want to remember your nightmares?", with a raised eyebrow.
Beast shook his head, "No... Fair enough, but still, inform me and all, if anything changes, or something happens.", and Reva nods in agreement. And so, the triad went on in peace and happiness for the rest of the month, watching Reva's baby bump grow, unknowingly of the new changes one day.
Feeling so hot because it's a July day, unknowing that his baby within him wanted a taste of the cold, Loki ventured to take a cold shower, feeling sluggish from the heat, wanting something to get him jolted awake in a way, not realizing that it literally would mean his memories.
Coming out of his sluggishness, Loki felt better before noticing something out of place, and looked down at his hands, seeing glacier blue skin coming over his fingers, his hands, and when he held them out in a position, he then saw flashes of a casket...no, not a casket, but the Casket of Ancient Winters, and he then remembered everything, earning him to scream and clench his head in angst.
Nobody was nearby to hear him scream, or at least quickly get to him if they caught it as Loki had dropped to the floor; his mind practically being almost torn apart as his brain fought the two lives that he had been living.
Thousands of years of his former life against one new life of six months, for Asgardians live for at least 50,000 years, with each 1,000 years as 20 years physically technically...He is over 1,000 years old in Asgard, but he's barely over 22 years old if he checked the math right, from the moment he fell...to his beloved lovers' home...
No, he cannot go back home...for the crimes he did...How will Tony and Reva judge him?...Gods, he's a father...His child would be a demi-god of sorts...
He took deep breaths as he was trying to calm down, at least regain his senses and certainly try to hide what he had just learned, or relearned. He started to tear up at the thought of it all; especially with how his loves would take this information.
After all, he attempted genocide on Jotunheimen, tried to rule Asgard with little success after Odin went into hibernation, and punished Thor to the planet of zombies before the Three Warriors saved him in time, and went to kill himself by suicide in the dark bottomless pit under the Bifrost which wasn't actually bottomless, and somehow still survived, thanks to his Frost Giant genes and his magic...
Gods, it must have been the Casket of Ancient Winters that snapped him into anger and little common sense when he is usually more humored and less vindictive..., yet he followed that jealous voice in his head, and committed those crimes...He doesn't know how long exactly he lasted up there in the stars, but it was enough to strip the anger away...bringing back his common sense and his good traits...
He wasn't forced to do those things; he willingly did those things...all because he couldn't have taken the news that he was a Frost Giant better... all because Odin didn't love him...all because Thor was actually better than himself to be king...
Loki closed his eyes tight, just wanting to wake up from this nightmare he found himself in, wanting to go back to before when he was obviously much happier living in ignorant bliss about who he truly was.
He was numb to the cold shower, to everything as he slumped in the corner, his heart breaking in pieces, and he didn't know how long he was in there before a terrified and worried shout pierced the air, "Loki!", with Loki barely lifting his head up to see Tony running towards him with a shocked, worried look, with Reva standing in concerned horror, her hands covering her mouth, in the doorway, seeing half glacier blue skin and one amber gold eye, with pale skin and one emerald green eye on Loki as Loki barely could muster magic to put himself back to normal...
"What happened?", Tony asked as Loki just was unable to say anything. "Tony, careful, he might be having some sort of issue!", Reva warned as Tony kept his distance.
"Loki, is... what's going on with you isn't like an infection, is it?", Tony asked as Loki was able to just slowly shake his head.
Tony exhaled, "Okay.", coming closer, ignoring the cool water sprinkling on him, and leaned down to touch Loki who turned his head over to the corner, tears falling, and Tony sighed, "I'm gonna pick you up. You're shriveling up like a raisin.".
Loki gave a small nod, and Tony gathered him up in his arms, coming out of the shower, going through the doorway to their bedroom, with the warm air slowly melting the glacier blue skin back into pale skin, and Reva concernedly went to caress Loki's head, moving in to kiss him on the forehead when Loki protested softly, "I don't deserve your love...", tears still streaming down his cheeks.
"Loki... tell us... what happened?", Reva asked. "I promise you, whatever you say won't change how we feel for you.", she assured him, but Loki had no confidence in that.
Tony nodded, "That's right, Loki...We're your lovers...You can tell us anything, my jewel.", as he climbed into the bed, cradling Loki on his knees, with Reva joining them to sit beside them.
"I... I remember now...", Loki admitted as he took a deep breath. "My memories... they came back.", he said as Reva and Tony looked at each other.
Reva softly, gently rubbed Loki's hand on the knuckles, "Is there serious baggage?", and Loki nodded slowly...Tony asked curiously, "Can you start with why you were looking half blue, if that's easier for you to explain?".
"Okay, well, I guess so there... well, as you two probably know, I'm not really human. But what you saw right there was a frost giant.", Loki sighed as he began. "I was never human or close to human to begin with when I was born.".
Reva blinked in surprise, "So, someone made you human in almost every way then?", and Loki smiled bittersweetly, "I think it was my mother...Frigga...she was a mage in her own right...She was the only one who loved me...even after I had that fight with Odin...Thor didn't know as far as I knew...Probably best since he was one to blab secrets and all...".
Tony looked at Loki, "Loki, my jewel, you're going on a tangent...Start from the beginning.", with a raised eyebrow. "Right...", Loki sighed. "Okay, to sum up some things quickly at the start, I was a frost giant, brought as a baby, I'm guessing, to Asgard, to be the adoptive son of its ruler, Odin, who I grew up thinking was my father.".
Reva frowned lightly, "He didn't tell you who you were?", and Loki nodded, "He should have told me when I was younger or something, he even had forbidden Frigga to tell me until she was able to tell me after the whole fight! And to make it worse, Asgardians think Frost Giants are...ruthless, horrible creatures...emotionless monsters...".
"Loki, please, calm down...", Reva tried to tell him as Loki nodded once again. "I'm okay, just... I'm sorry, I'm just extremely upset with myself with what I've just remembered.", Loki said.
Tony narrowed his eyes, "Did they abuse you?", and Loki shook his head, "No, no, they were wonderful, well, Frigga was, really... That was the problem...Apparently, Odin didn't trust me...even after he literally raised me...He was attracted to the idea of his own biological son being king...Thor and I grew up as brothers...Admittedly, I was jealous and envious even when I loved Thor as a brother and all...it got worse after I snapped at Odin for keeping the truth from me...It was no wonder why he didn't want me to rule Asgard...".
Reva whispered softly, "Oh, Loki...", and Loki sighed deeply, "I was normally humored, a mischievous prankster, and intelligently observant...yet when I snapped, it was like all common sense flew out the window, and there was only one voice that got louder in my head...The voice of vengeance...wanting to prove to Odin that I could be a great king, be the better son, to show him that I'm not a fool...".
"I get an honest feeling about where this is probably going.", Tony said as Loki nodded. "You'd be right...," Loki turned his head. "And that's why I'm scared of how you two will see me now...".
Reva took Loki's hand and put it on her baby bump, "Feel that? You're already so brave to tell your story, and if you truly regret what you've done, it makes you human again, metaphorically, and you know that you can be better for us, for our child. I'm upset at how Odin treated you, how he kept the truth from you so long... The rest of your story would be terrible if you didn't want to remember from those nightmares you had...So, listen to your heart...Do you want to get this off your chest so you can breathe again?".
"I don't know...", Loki shook his head. "Part of me feels like I've said enough, that you two at least now know the truth... but there is so much more that needs to be said...".
Tony rubbed Loki on the back, "We're not pushing you to tell more if you don't want to, Loki...Can you tell us something at least about how you were up there in the stars, falling and crashing here?".
"Okay, I can do that, but it's certainly still hard to explain." Loki sighed as he proceeded to tell them about Asgard and its connection with Earth, how he was able to indeed fall from before and end up being found by the two of them.
Reva widened her eyes in awe and shock, "Wow, a literal rainbow bridge...The Bifrost...You're sure that it was broken at least?".
Loki sighed, "Thor shattered it with his hammer, Mjolnir, because he didn't want to risk the chance of zombies making their way to a portal from the first Earth...I banished him there in the first place after I became king since Thor was too busy elsewhere, making another idiotic mistake...Odin might possibly fix the Bifrost...".
"And if they find you?", Tony asked. "I'm hoping they don't... I... I'd much rather stay here.", Loki sighed as Reva chuckled, "I think we both can say the same for you.".
Loki smiled in relief, glad for the reassuring words, and sighed deeply, deciding to keep quiet about his crimes until the baby's born, not wanting to risk Reva's stress levels to go high...After all, he doesn't want to cause a miscarriage unintentionally...And there's something off about himself as well...His magic is in hibernation, yet not rusty.
"So... what do we do now?", Tony asked as Reva shrugged and then chuckled. "Well, I guess we take it one day at a time and just go on like normal.", she said.
"Seriously?", Loki questioned. "All that and you just want to move on like nothing changed?", looking at Reva in surprise and shock, not expecting it.
Reva smiled softly at him, "Loki, when you said you want to stay here, do you mean it?", and Loki firmly spoke, "With my heart. I would never abandon you, Tony, and our child, unlike my biological father did, as I was a runt...If they find me, they must come here to talk, for I won't go back...Besides, I'm not a prince anymore.".
"Sounds good to me.", Tony smirked. "It's much better here at least for us for you to say... even if you don't exactly have as much prestige here then back in Asgard.".
Loki smiled, "It's okay. Being a prince was stressful and everyone expected me to be one thing...Relaxing and being myself, it means much more, and besides, I have finally discovered that love, true love is here, and somehow, you two gave me so much more than I have ever dreamed of...".
Reva kissed Loki on the cheek, "We love you too, Loki.", and Tony kissed Loki on the other cheek, "That's right. We ain't leaving ya alone. Now, how about some serious cheering up? Don't think we noticed that you're nude, thanks to the shower.", with a flirtatious smile and a waggle of his eyebrows.
Loki chuckled as he blushed, "Jeez, you guys didn't remind me?", with a little sheepish smile. "We clearly were focused on other things.", Tony laughed.
Loki gave a little laugh, "Touche.", with Reva giggling before purring warmly as she smiled, "Let's not miss out on this.", stripping her clothes off, with Tony gladly following her lead, and soon, the triad fell into their familiar routine of lovemaking.
Elsewhere, at the border of Asgard, on the slowly reforming Bifrost, the Guardian, Heimdall politely averted his eyes and smiled wryly before slightly twitching, bowing his head in respect, "Your Majesty.", as King Odin stepped besides him, "Heimdall.".
"To what do I owe this meeting?", Heimdall asked, obviously knowing but still wanting to keep up the formalities.
"I have sensed a change, a subtle change that is, and it felt familiar, very familiar...Have he found his memory back?", King Odin asked, and Heimdall gave a little nod, "Yes, Prince Loki's memories have returned...".
"But?", King Odin asked firmly yet curiously, stoic as ever, waiting patiently for Heimdall to explain as he should.
