Author update! Which most of you probably won't read but it's important! I'm going to be moving REAL soon, like next week. There's going to be a lot of stuff that I have to do in terms of getting the new house all fixed up, so I don't know how much I'll be able to write during that time. But, I'll be settled in eventually and then back to posting regularly!

Still have lots of things to write, after all.

Anyway, this was just a fun little update - because we all need our weekend bees!

"I'm telling you...that server was totally hitting on you."

"Please," she responded with a scoff of disbelief. "He couldn't stop staring down your shirt the entire meal."

Yang laughed at her words, giving her hand a little squeeze as they walked through the front doors and into the lobby of their apartment building. Once inside, the girl guided them over to the large bank of mailboxes for the residents - quickly opening theirs with a small key, grabbing all of the contents, and snapping the box shut again.

"Well, can you blame him?" the blonde responded while tucking the mail underneath one arm, turning to give her that lopsided smile she absolutely adored.

Of course, she answered this one with playfully narrowed eyes, trying to set Yang back on her heels for the...cleavage boasting comment.

"Uh...yup, apparently you can!" the girl immediately added, grinning when Blake leaned into her side with a laugh as they stepped into the elevator that had just arrived on the ground floor for them.

"Hey," Yang said as soon as the doors slid shut. "So how weird is it that you follow me home all the time? And we don't say goodbye anymore?"

"It doesn't feel weird at all," she answered easily. "It feels like...this is how it's supposed to be."

There was no better way to describe the most recent change in their living situations.

It had only taken the two of them one day to pack up everything in her apartment that she wanted to keep, then one day for the movers to bring everything down the street and carry it up to Yang's apartment. Another day unpacking and making room for her things, in most cases commingling her items with the actress' own belongings, and she was pretty much completely moved.

Initially, she'd thought that the first night she didn't have her own apartment would feel exceptionally weird...but then she and Yang had stayed up nearly the entire night watching reruns of some children's television show the girl had loved as a child, tossing pieces of popcorn back and forth to see who was better at catching food with their mouth (Yang was, by a long shot).

And then the next morning, she'd woken up to pancakes and a good morning kiss before the blonde had run off to the set to film some scene for the day.

When she'd gone into her new office with a stack of pancakes covered in syrup, she'd realized that this room was actually bigger than the one she'd been using. It also had better lighting. There was a better view of the city out the large windows. It seemed quieter. And, no matter where she went in the apartment, it always smelled faintly of the person she loved most in the world.

After sitting down in the chair, which was more comfortable than the one she used to have, she'd picked up the small card lying on top of her keyboard, smiling like a fool when she'd read the words scrawled upon it in Yang's girly handwriting - 'Miss you already. Can't wait to come home.'

At that moment, she'd completely forgotten why she would ever want to live alone.

A soft 'ding' brought her attention back to the elevator doors sliding open in front of them, realizing that Yang had allowed her to zone out for most of the ride up here.

"Do you think it's weird?" she asked as they stepped into the hall. "That I'm always following you home?"

"Well...when you put it like that, it makes you sound like a stalker!" Yang replied with a grin, leaning against the wall beside their door while waiting for Blake to unlock it.

"You wish you could get someone like me to stalk you," she teased while fishing out her keys.

"You're right - probably couldn't get someone like you to stalk me," the blonde agreed as they walked through the now opened door to the apartment.

She stiffened when warm breaths suddenly washed over her ear, alerting her to the fact that Yang was now very, very close to her.

"I can get them to live with me though," came the soft whisper followed by a cheerful little giggle.

Flushing as Yang stepped away from her, the actress sent her a wink before turning her gaze to the stack of envelopes held in one hand. Turning her own attention towards her shoes, she began removing them in order to put them away for the evening - having no plans to go anywhere else today unless Yang wanted to.

When the blonde suddenly let out a loud gasp, she nearly jumped out of her skin in surprise.

"Look, Blake!" the girl said, waving one envelope through the air. "Your first piece of mail! It's from your publish - oh, wait a second...they got the wrong name on here…"

Yang peered closely at the front of the envelope before turning curious lilac eyes upon her.

"Who's Ella Lake?"

Every muscle in her body froze the moment she heard the name come out of Yang's mouth.

No….no no no - that couldn't possibly be what she'd just said!

But Yang had noticed her stiffness immediately, eyes widening in surprise as she connected the dots - pointing the envelope towards Blake questioningly before her mouth dropped open in shock.

"Yang…" she said in a soft, quiet voice, inching towards the blonde as if she was trying not to scare away a baby deer.

It didn't work.

Yang broke out of her temporary spell, turned, and sprinted through the living room.

Without a second thought, she chased after the blonde, footsteps pounding on the ground as they turned down the hallway towards her new office.

This was bad. She needed to stop Yang before the girl could make it to...the computer.

She would never know why, but the instant she saw the device through the open door in front of them, she completely panicked. Without even thinking, she launched herself towards Yang, wrapping her arms around the girl's waist as they collided, her forward momentum carried both of them to the ground with a resounding thud.

Yang hit the floor first, with Blake landing right on top of her - the blonde letting out a loud 'oomph' as air was forced from her lungs.

For just a second, time stood still as she stared in horror at the girl lying motionless beneath her.

"Yang?" she whispered, heart hammering in her ears as something much worse than panic began to appear.

She let out a loud sigh of relief when the girl let out a groan, moving one hand to gingerly touch the back of her head before opening her eyes.

"Yang, I'm so sorry!" she said, regret now spilling out of her full force.

She hadn't meant to hurt the girl! She'd just been trying to stop her from looking up the name on the computer.

"You...you just tackled me!" Yang responded, eyes wide with shock.

"I...I know! I'm really sorry - I don't know why I just did that...I panicked when I thought about you looking up the name and…"

Her sputtering faltered as the sound of Yang's laughter filled her ears. Looking down in surprise, she found the blonde laughing wholeheartedly - nearly bringing herself to tears from laughing so hard.

"T-that's...that's t-totally something I would do!" the girl managed to get out between her giggles.

The answer made her smile, Yang's laughter making her feel immensely relieved.

But she tried to force a stern look upon her face, regardless.

"That's because I've been dating you too long," she responded as seriously as possible. "You're starting to rub off on me."

Yang just laughed harder at that statement, the infectious sound making her chuckle lightly, as well.

It probably had looked a little ridiculous for her to tackle the girl while running around the apartment. Especially when there was no way Yang could have even typed the name on the computer before Blake would have caught up to her.

She could have just pulled the power cord, or something. But apparently she did have a little bit of a flare for the overly dramatic.

Yang was rubbing off on her, after all...

She directed her full attention back to the girl still lying beneath her when she felt a warm hand run through her hair, carefully tucking several loose strands behind her ear. The girl's laughter had died off, and lilac eyes were now calm and thoughtful.

"You know I'd never read those books without your permission, right?" the blonde asked quietly, her fingers absentmindedly twirling loops in Blake's hair.

Her heart swooned with love at the question.

Leaning down, she placed a kiss to Yang's lips before drawing back with a smile.

"I know...thank you..." she responded sincerely, still smiling as the beautiful girl grinned back up at her from her spot pinned to the ground.

After several more seconds of grinning at each other like the fools in love that they were, she realized that maybe they should actually get up now.

Sliding carefully to one side, she got to her feet and extended a hand down to help pull Yang upright.

The girl popped up vigorously, before letting out another small groan and touching the back of her head again.

"Ok, let's get some ice for your head," she immediately said, grabbing ahold of Yang's hand before dragging the girl back to the kitchen table. After forcing the girl into one of the chairs, she busied herself in the kitchen putting some ice cubes into a bag and wrapping it in a dish towel.

Once she had a makeshift cold compress ready, she rushed back to the table and handed it to Yang.

Watching intently while Yang hesitantly touched the ice to her head, flinching slightly at the cold, she placed one hand on the girl's shoulder before hurrying back to the living room to collect the envelope that had been hastily discarded during their chase. Once she had it, she walked back to the kitchen and pulled out the chair beside Yang in order to sit down.

"What does it say?" the blonde asked her, moving the ice again as if it was uncomfortable to hold.

"That's what I want to know…" she muttered while ripping through the paper to pull out the folded page within.

Unfolding it, her eyes quickly scanned the single paragraph typed upon the page before letting out a groan and tossing both the letter and envelope down on the kitchen table.

"They're just confirming my address change…"

Yang giggled, the irony of what such a simple letter had just done not lost on either of them.

"Ella Lake…" the blonde mused, moving the bag of ice around once again. "How'd you come up with that?"

She remained silent as Yang shifted the bag again, allowing the girl to have the opportunity to figure it out on her own.

And Yang did several seconds later - eyes widening when she'd stumbled over the answer.

"Ella Lake! Blake Belladonna!"

Nodding her head, Yang laughed happily at having solved the mystery for herself.

"That's pure genius, that's what that is," the girl continued, temporarily moving the ice away from her head before replacing it with another small grimace.

The wince of pain made her feel more than a little guilty. The injury was completely her fault, after all.

"Does it feel any better?" she asked, nodding towards the girl's head.

"It's cold…" the blonde whined pitifully, setting the ice down on the table while sticking her lower lip out in a pout. "I think I'll be fine without it."

A giggle nearly escaped her lips at just how adorable the sulk was on Yang's face, but she somehow managed to maintain a neutral expression. Grabbing the bag of ice off the table, she scooted her chair closer to Yang and leaned forward to place the ice on the back of the girl's head herself.

"You need to ice it or you'll get a big bump…" she muttered quietly, her breathing beginning to slow from their new proximity.

Now merely centimeters apart, she could pick out every fleck of gold in lavender eyes...and she watched as Yang's pupils dilated to nearly twice their normal size in under a few seconds.

"It's still cold…" Yang whispered, the words brushing softly against Blake's lips.

She couldn't help rolling her eyes at the comment, knowing exactly what the girl was getting at.

But, this had been her fault, so she was more than prepared to suffer the 'consequences,' if they could be called that.

Crossing the last few centimeters between them, she placed her lips to Yang's, feeling the blonde instantly warm at the contact. Keeping the ice pack firmly in place with one hand, her other was free to run through Yang's gorgeous golden locks while the girl kissed her greedily.

But, for as greedy as Yang was, she was just as ravenous for the blonde in return.

Without breaking contact for an instant, she got up from her chair and swung one leg over Yang's, sitting back down straddling the girl's lap.

Yang's hands immediately began running themselves up Blake's legs, then up her sides, before finally settling around the back of her neck – pulling her impossibly closer in an effort to deepen their kiss.

It was a constant struggle...a battle to see which one of them could melt into the other first.

The sudden sound of a cell phone blaring on the table right beside her scared her half to death, causing her to clamp down her teeth as she jolted in surprise. Yang let out a little yelp as she pulled away, holding one hand up to the lip Blake had just unintentionally bitten.

Her face burning in embarrassment, she felt Yang stare at her for a second before finally reaching over and silencing the ringer on the phone, plunging them back into complete silence.

She didn't dare look at the blonde, knowing exactly what expression would be on the girl's face.

"I think...I might need some ice for my lip now," the blonde said, confirming her suspicion with the audible grin in the girl's voice. "Jeez, this is really a day to remember! I found out your pen name, you tackled me, then you bit me!"

What her girlfriend was so happily pointing out was that this day hadn't gone very well in the 'not embarrassing herself' department. But that was ok, she still had plenty of time to recover…

Dropping the bag of ice onto the table, she pushed herself off of Yang's lap and headed back towards their bedroom without another word. Hearing the sound of a chair scraping across the ground, she bit back a smirk - knowing that Yang would pursue her.

"Blake, wait!" the blonde called out from behind her, voice now full of worry as the girl believed she'd pushed a little too far.

Abruptly spinning around, she froze Yang in the girl's tracks right outside their bedroom door.

The level of concern written on her girlfriend's face immediately made her feel a little guilty, but she fully planned on making it up to the girl...right now.

Reaching out, she grabbed the front of Yang's shirt and pulled her forcefully forward - crashing their lips together in a rough kiss.

Separating for a brief instant, Yang looked at her, worry now replaced by adorably stunned confusion.

"W-wh...uh…" the blonde sputtered as a flush steadily appeared on her cheeks.

Leaning forward, she whispered hungrily into Yang's ear.

"I'm going to make you forget everything that just happened - everything, but me."
