The 4077 was proud to have the USO Troupe at the camp. Although the comedy routine left a lot to be desired, the entertainment was more than welcome. The show lifted the spirits of the wounded soldiers, the nurses and all of us who were stuck in this camp, miles away from home. Colonel Potter was having the time of his life. Laughter, as the saying went, was the best medicine. Klinger's stage debut wasn't exactly what he had hoped, but the show, overall, was a great success. And we were all glad when the troop was allowed to stay a little longer.
