Love-or something that strangely resembled it, abounded at the 4077 when the USO troupe arrived. But neither Colonel Potter nor Hawkeye was ready for it. Colonel Potter soon regretted inviting Brandy into his tent for a nightcap. She was clearly interested in him for more than friendship, even though his heart had long since belonged to Mildred. Hawkeye had no romantic interest in Marina, the star of the show, but that didn't seem to stop her from letting Dr. Pierce know how she felt. In the end, we were all sorry to see the girls go. They provided happiness in an otherwise dull life.
