The boy walked to the school, he was finally back to where he belonged. He missed the first week of class but he was sure that he didn't miss anything important, he just hoped he would be able to make some friends this year.
After being forced to leave his only friend, he never managed to make new ones, maybe his childhood friend still lived in the town? And if she still lived there, did she even remember him?
He grasped his old battered bracelet with fondness.
He arrived at the school and was directed to his class. He walked nervously through the hallways, would he be bullied? Would he find friends? Would he be an ignored loner? Would he find her?
The boy knocked on the door, his new teacher opened it and asked if he was the new student. The teacher entered and announced that a new student would be joining class.
The teacher called him in.
"N-nice to m-meet you! My n-name is Yu-Yugi Muto!" Said the new boy with a deep bow.
"And once again I can't introduce myself without stuttering, is this a curse?" He thought to himself.
"Yugi?" A feminine voice called him, "It can't be!"
Yugi looked at the class and locked eyes with a girl who was looking at him in shock.
He could never mistake the bracelet on her wrist for anything else.
Yugi smiled.
