The next morning, Callie rolls over to look at Arizona, who is slowly waking herself. They smile and give each other a good morning kiss. Callie asks "shall I put on a pot of coffee for us?" Arizona smiles and says "that would be lovely." Both of them head downstairs to the kitchen, and while Callie makes coffee, Arizona watches and simply smiles, she couldn't be happier right now. Unfortunately, Callie breaks the news that she needs to head home tomorrow. Callie explains that Sofia has been staying with one of friends from school, so she doesn't want to leave her for too much longer. As sad as this made Arizona, she completely understood. Arizona expressed that she just wants the day with Callie, so she calls her mom and explains that she will come in early tomorrow morning, and asked for an update on her dad. "The colonel is feeling a lot better today, the doctor thinks he is good to go home very soon." Barbera replies. This was a huge relief for Arizona. "Thank you mom, our love to both of you." Arizona responds and then hangs up. "So, it looks like you have me all day." Arizona says to Callie with a cheeky wink. Callie scoops Arizona up and kisses her passionately, then sets her down on the kitchen counter. She then opens Arizona's legs wide enough to stand between them, and asks "what would you like to do?" Arizona kisses Callie and says "lets do this, and we'll figure the rest out later."
A couple hours go by, Callie says to Arizona "my flight is super early babe, I gotta get my bag packed." This saddened Arizona greatly, but she needed to get home to Sofia. "I'll get some dinner for us while you get your things organized." Arizona replies in sad, pouty tone.
As they finished their meals, Callie takes Arizona's hand, and they make their way to the couch. They watch a movie and cuddle for a while, then Arizona kisses Callie ever so softly and says "I couldn't have made it the past couple days without you, I love you so much Calliope." Callie scooped the blonde right up, and took her to the bedroom, where they made love well into the early morning.
