The alarm on Callie's phone goes off, both of the ladies grunt with discontent because it's early, they didn't sleep much, and that Callie has to catch an early flight. Arizona grabs Callie by the hips before she rolled out of bed, she wanted to cherish this moment, as it's going to be a couple weeks before they see each other again. Callie turns to Arizona and says "I got to go babe, I love you so much." Before Arizona could say anything, Callie kisses softly and proceeds to get up. "At least let me drive you to the airport." Arizona replies. Both of the ladies get dressed, and hop in the car.
Arizona pulls up to the terminal, and puts the car in park for a few short moments, she hates that Callie is leaving. They exchanged the love and kissed each other good bye. Arizona watches as Callie disappears into the airport. Now for the lonely drive back, and hopefully grab a couple more hours of shut eye before she has to be at the hospital.
3 hours pass, and Arizona gets up to the sound of her alarm clock. It's 7 am, her first thought was coffee. Arizona put on a pot of coffee, and then checked her phone for any notifications, she should be hearing from Callie pretty soon she thought. She grabs a travel mug, and pours the coffee into it, then heads to Grey Sloan.
As Arizona walks into her dads room, her mom jumps up and says "the colonel is being released at the end of tne week!" Both of the ladies are over moon with the good news, and Arizona tells her mom that she wants them to stay with her for an extra week, to make sure her dad is well enough to travel back home. Barbera was hesitant at first, as she doesn't want to be a burden to Arizona, but Arizona insisted and reassures them this is what she wants.
Before Arizona left the hospital for the night, she gets a quick message from Callie. The message said: "Made it back safely, picking up Sofia and then going home. I love and miss you so much. Can't wait to have you out here." Arizona smiles at her phone, she can't wait for them all to be together again.
