Arizona's plane touched down on the tarmac in New York, and her first thought was, "thank god" the flight wasn't long, but it felt like it took forever to reach her destination. She reaches into her purse to get her phone out, but she is fumbling with everything because she is worried; worried about Callie and Sofia. As she gets her phone, she notices she has a couple of texts and one voicemail, all from Callie. There was no update in any of the messages, so Arizona called Callie to ask for an update. After a few rings go by before Callie finally answers the phone, "hey babe, I have been trying to reach you; where have you been?" Arizona quickly replied, "I was on the first flight out of Seattle; I am on my way to your place." Callie feels a mix of emotions, but at least one is relief. "You are the best baby; I would be lost without you." Hearing that made Arizona feel good, but she knew she wanted Callie to feel good right now, all things considered, that is. "I will be there soon sweety; I love you," Arizona says to Callie before she ends the call.
Fifteen minutes go by, and Arizona's cab pulls up to the house; Callie jumps up from the front step and darts towards the cab. Before Arizona could get out of the cab, she felt Callie's arms wrap around her like a boa constrictor; this was probably the first time she felt Callie be this vulnerable. "I'm here now babe; I'm here." Arizona reassures Callie.
