As both Arizona and Callie walk into the house, Arizona places her bags down and tells Callie to go sit down on the couch while she gets a couple of glasses of wine. Callie didn't argue, she was too tired to do that.
Arizona hands a glass to Callie, and she places her glass down on the coffee table, then sits down next to Callie. "Do you feel up to talking about it?" Arizona asks softly. Tears began to run down Callie's face again, "not really, I just want you to hold me." she replied quietly. Both of them drank their wine without saying a word, they didn't need to talk, their body language did all of that. A couple of hours go by and they decide to make their way up to bed. Arizona placed her arm over Callie and they fell asleep.
The next morning they both awakened when the phone rang, Callie jumped out of bed so quickly, Arizona didn't know Callie could run that fast. Callie answered "Hello?" while trying to catch her breath. It was the Cuban police providing an update. "Is Calliope Torres there?" they asked. Callie starts to shake with anticipation of bad news, but replies "speaking." "Hello miss, this is the Cuban police informing you that the plane Carlos and Lucia Torres were on did require an emergency landing, they are a little banged up but otherwise okay." Tears streamed down Callie's face, but this time they were happy tears. "Thank god, I have been a nervous wreck, can you tell me why and what happened?" Callie asked. "I'm sorry ma'am, we don't have all the answers at the moment, but the plane was badly damaged. All I know is the plane caught fire shortly after everyone evacuated." the police officer replied. "That explains why they didn't call me, they must have left their phone on the plane," Callie said to the officer. "Thank you very much for the update, it is a great relief knowing they're okay. Is there a number I can reach them at?" Callie asks. The officer reads out the phone number and name of their hotel.
Once Callie hung up she turned to Arizona and planted a big kiss on her lips and told her they are fine. "Of course they are babe," Arizona responds with a warm smile on her face. "I can't thank you enough for dropping everything to come out and be with me, it means so much to m," Callie says to Arizona. "You don't need to thank me for that honey, I did what anyone would do for the person they love," Arizona replied. The two of them enjoy some breakfast and discuss what they are going to do for the rest of the day now that they can relax.
Later that evening Arizona tells Callie that she has to head back to Seattle to meet the movers. "It feels like life keeps throwing us curve balls, first it was your dad and now it's my parent," Callie says nervously. "Nothing is going to stop me from being with you, Calliope, nothing," Arizona reassures Callie. "We will get our happy ending," Arizona says with determination.
