The moving truck is en route to New York, and Arizona has packed the car with small boxes and a suitcase carrying clothes and necessities. She takes out her phone and sends a text to Callie, "I'm on my way home baby, I love you and I'll see you soon," then puts her phone back into her purse. She turns the car on and exits the driveway for the last time.
In New York, Callie is preparing the house for Arizona's arrival. Both Callie and Sofia are excited that Arizona is moving in, "when is mom going to arrive mama?" Sofia asks. "She should be here in about 42 hours, depending on how many times she stops and traffic," Callie answered. "Ugh, it's so long!" Sofia exclaims. "It is, but we have stuff to do which will eat up some time," Callie replied. "Let's go to the store and get some groceries and a welcome home gift for your mom," Callie says to Sofia.
45 Hours Later
Arizona is finally in New York, she decides to surprise Callie and Sofia.
Callie pulls into the driveway with a car full of groceries, and Sofia helped unload them with her. When they stepped into the house they were surprised by Arizona, "Mom!" Sofia screams with excitement. Sofia drops the grocery bags and hugs her mom with the tightest grip she could handle. Happy tears run down all of their faces, they are finally together again. Once Sofia released Arizona, it was Callie's turn, "welcome home babe," Callie whispers into Arizona's ear.
Later that night the 3 of them relaxed with movies, and they made it a proper family night. When it was time for Sofia to go to bed because she had school the next morning, Callie and Arizona had a celebration of their own behind closed doors.
