Would you look at that I am not dead.

Freedom. Love. Hope. Things that we value so highly, and it breaks us to lose just one of them. But when we do lose them, it is an undeniable quality of life to do everything we can to get them back. And when I see the young girl, still only a child, I knew she was never going to give up on her search. If it were Feyre I would drench the world in blood to find her again.
Whether or not I wanted to help on this quest? It did not benefit me in any way, nor bring us any closer to home. I had tried on multiple occasions to winnow back, yet my efforts were met with a brick wall. We were all stuck, and in being stuck here my freedom was no longer my own. And after what happened with Amarantha, this was something I could not allow.
"If I do this, will you and your gods help us back home?" I asked the blonde girl who was pleading for our help which I could tell was not easy for her to do. Admit to not being able to do something on her own.
"Yes," she immediately answered.
"Then I will help you, but if it comes down to saving my life or yours, I will pick my own. If it comes down to saving my wife I will choose her, and if it were you or my friends, my friends would be the ones coming out alive. You get what I am saying?" I asked.
"Yes, so you are all coming with me?" She asked looking at the rest of the inner circle.
"They do as I say, except for my Lady...and Amren on certain days," I said and looked at Feyre wanting for her answer. Although I already knew what it was going to be.
For all you know I could say no, Feyre said pushing into my thoughts, her presence familiar to my mind.
So you would leave me to fight for myself just like that? I replied.
Of course, you haven't showered in a while and it's starting to show...or rather smell.
I frown, That's only because the showers here are so shit. I'd rather not.
Oh so used to your luxurious house? she teased.
No, I just have standards. I never heard you complain about the house. Would you like me to get a shack instead? Although our other activities may not be as interesting and...pleasurable.
By other activities do you mean cleaning? I think that would be easier in a tiny shack, she asked.
No, I meant fuc-.
"Are you going to answer the question or...?" Annabeth asked cutting my thought.
"They're just flirting with each other, give them a second," Mor said.
"Mor," I warned. She just shrugged her shoulders knowing she was right.
"The answer is yes. I will go as well."
Annabeth's sad eyes beamed into a smile. "Thank you," she spoke. She then walked away to no doubt convince the other group of individuals.
"Do you find it strange?" Cassian asked from beside me.
"What?"
"All of this, three different worlds. Gods, real gods. No Fae. Yet in... the other world, the Fae are all so different from us. No Illyrian's, no high lords," Cassian replied.
"Yeah...it's going to take a lot to get used to," I said. They seemed like good people, although the other Fae and people from that world were a bit less trustworthy. I might have Azriel keep an eye out on them.
"Where is Azriel?" I asked, just noticing his lack of presence.
"Last I saw him he was out talking to some kid. Well, more like they were both standing there silently acting really...Azriel like," he said.
I furrowed my eyebrows. "Which kid?"
"How am I supposed to know? Some kid that was dressed full black."
"Maybe Azriel has finally replaced you guys as his best friend," Feyre suggested.
I looked over to my wife, who just smiled sweetly at me. I couldn't even pretend to be angry at her for that comment.
Want to go for a walk? I asked her. She nodded her head. "We are going for a walk, don't get yourselves too wrapped up in a mess while we are gone."
"Us? When did we do anything that got us in trouble," Mor replied.
"You know," I answered, and both me and Feyre walked away from the group. We decided to go into the forest in hope of some peace and quiet.
"How are you feeling about all of this?" she asked.
"Worried. I feel like there is something else going on, and that it's going to be what kills us," I replied. "You?"
"I can't help but think about what is going on back home. How worried my sisters are, and how our people are without us. More importantly, if any of the other courts see our disappearance as an opportunity to take the Night court," she said. I can't say that she shouldn't worry about that. I had my own worries about similar things.
"We will deal with that when we get back."
"If we get back," she responded.
"Remember, it's the dreamers that make the world. So when we get back," I replied.
I heard something in this distance. A shuffling of bushes, was that a growl?
"Feyre," I warned her.
"Yeah I know," she said, just as a monster appeared in the distance.
