Quelques jours après avoir mit fin au retour de Spectral, Qibli et Winter se retrouvent à l'académie, chacun avec sa propre raison. Si au début l'aile de sable est ravi de revoir ses amis, il déchante quand un aile de sable en particulier remplace Argil. Sa venue est annonciatrice de danger, à la fois pour Qibli et pour le reste de l'académie.
