** Hey Guys. Thank you for the support. I don't want you all to have high expectations on updates, but I had a lot of spare time this weekend. I am going away Tuesday until Thursday night, so please keep expectations at bay. Thank you all! Remember- Rumiko Takahashi owns everything Ranma 1/2, I'm simply writing for my own enjoyment and nothing else.

"Get out of here you guys!" Nabiki cheered, a little drunk.

"Have fun!" Kasumi called sweetly.

"Do your father proud, son!" Genma cried with pride.

"The Anything Goes Martial Arts School is secure!" Soun cried harder than Genma.

Nodoka shook her head at the two men. The younger crowd (Ryoga, Ukyo, and Kuno) were preoccupied with some game involving a piece of cake, a string, and a marble. Nodoka walked the two newlyweds out of the dojo.

"Ranma. You will stay the night in Akane's room. You will have all the privacy required to consummate your marriage tonight and tomorrow we will discuss what our living arrangements will look like moving forward. We didn't have enough time to deal with that on top of the wedding and reception," Nodoka explained as Ranma and Akane's faces turned several different shades of red. "You have made me so proud to be your mother, Ranma. You have grown up to be such a man among men. Now, scoot you two." Nodoka motioned toward the house.

Ranma and Akane nodded and headed into the house cautiously. Both were a bit tipsy from the alcohol going around at the party. Their parents had no problem letting them drink tonight, hoping a little liquid courage would help the two newlyweds with their wedding night festivities. Ranma and Akane started up the stairs to Akane's room. When they got to the top of the stairs, Ranma scooped Akane into his arms and started carrying her to the room.

Akane laughed. "Ranma, what are you doing?" She asked.

"Well, this is what the husband is supposed to do, right?" Ranma blushed as he approached the bedroom door. "Do you mind? I don't have a hand to open the door."

Akane reached over and turned the doorknob, opening the door. Ranma kicked it the rest of the way and walked through the door. Ranma put Akane back on her feet as he looked around at the unlit candles, rose petals, and nightie that hung by the closet. Ranma tensed up.

"Wow. Someone has some expectations tonight," Ranma squeaked in fear.

"It wasn't me, Ranma. I swear. We can just take everything slow. I have no expectations. I promise." Akane said, as she walked over and closed the bedroom door.

"We just kissed for the first time at our wedding. I haven't done anything with anyone ever before. Not on purpose anyway. I'm a bit nervous," Ranma admitted.

"I'm nervous, too. How about we just get into pajamas, get into the bed and talk about things?" Akane suggested.

"Okay. On one condition," Ranma smirked.

"What is that?" Akane tilted her head and looked at Ranma curiously.

"You have to wear that little nightie hanging over there," Ranma's smirk grew.

Akane's eyes widened. "You can't be serious," she said.

"You wouldn't want it to go to waste," he laughed.

"You don't think I'm too thick or brick-like to pull it off?" Akane asked him.

Ranma's smirk dropped. "No. I've never thought that. I'm just stupid sometimes and can't stop myself," he admitted.

"Okay, but you have to turn around. We might be married, but this is all new," Akane used her finger to demonstrate how she would like him to turn.

Ranma raised both hands as he slowly turned away from Akane to give her some privacy.

Akane stood for a few moments to make sure Ranma wasn't trying to peep, then grabbed the negligee off the hanger. "I can't believe Nabiki did this," Akane grumbled as she slipped off her dress and threw the negligee over her head then pulled it down over her body. She spotted the thong sitting on the hanger. "I don't think so," Akane said as she tossed the rest aside.

"You don't think what?" Ranma asked, still turned around.

"Don't worry about it. I'm changed, you can turn around," Akane told him,

Ranma turned around and immediately blushed. He quickly averted his eyes. "I'm sorry, I didn't realize it was.." Ranma gulped, "see-through."

Akane chuckled nervously. "Yeah, you can thank Nabiki for that one. I'm going to grab a housecoat," Akane said as she went to the closet, pulled out a housecoat and threw it over herself.

"Okay," Ranma said, eyes still directed to the opposite corner of the room.

"So," Akane smirked. "Where are your pajamas?" she asked.

Ranma blushed. "I don't know. Probably hidden, knowing your sister. It's fine, I can just sleep in a tank top and boxers."

"Okay," Akane agreed as she stood watching him,

Ranma didn't move.

"Ranma?" Akane checked in.

"Uh.. Sorry, Akane. Maybe I should go check and see if I have any pajamas that cover more of my body," Ranma suggested.

"Ranma, since when do you have even a modicum of modesty? Fair is fair," Akane said as she motioned to her current attire.

Ranma gulped. "Yeah, I know normally I wouldn't care, but this is different," he explained.

"Why?" Akane asked.

"Because everyone is expecting us to have sex tonight!" Ranma blurted out.

Akane nodded knowingly. "Yeah, that's what people usually do on their wedding nights, right?" she asked.

Ranma scratched the back of his head. "Yeah, but.." he started.

"It's okay, Ranma. We aren't a 'usual' couple. We never have been. We can wait if you want to," Akane reassured him.

"Do you want to wait?" Ranma asked, hoping to relieve some of the pressure.

"I think we should just be ourselves and whatever happens, happens. No judgment, no expectations, and no fear," Akane said as she walked closer to Ranma. "I'm scared, too, Ranma."

"You are?" Ranma looked at Akane. Akane nodded. "Well, okay then. No expectations." Ranma smiled as he took his shirt off, leaving only his tank top.

Akane took a good look at her new husband. Her eyes moved from his face, down to his broad shoulders, down to his chiseled chest- a fact that was barely hidden by his tank top. Ranma noticed Akane's expression as she looked at his body. "Akane? Are you.." Ranma hesitated.

Akane jumped and looked at Ranma's face. "Am I what?" she asked.

Ranma gulped. "Are you.. Checking me out?" Ranma asked cautiously.

Akane's eyes widened as she realized she'd been busted. "Oh, uh.." Akane started laughing. "I guess I was!"

Ranma joined her laugh. "Well, that's weird to me, but I guess I probably checked you out a little bit, too," Ranma admitted.

Akane walked over to the bed and brushed some rose petals off of the covers before she pulled them over and got underneath, tossing her housecoat over her desk chair. She looked at Ranma, then adjusted herself to give him space to lay down, too. Ranma nervously approached the bed.

"Ah, your pants, Ranma," Akane smirked.

Ranma looked stunned. "Right, okay," Ranma said as he sat on the bed and dropped his pants to the floor. He immediately got under the covers, covering his exposed legs. "Why do you want me in my underwear anyway, Akane?" he asked.

"Just wouldn't be fair. Why do you want me in this nightie, Ranma?" Akane asked.

"Honestly, because it's sexy," Ranma blushed.

"Oh," Akane said. "You're right. This is really weird."

Ranma chuckled. "Well, what do you want to do about it?" he asked as he rolled onto his side to face Akane.

Akane stared at Ranma for a moment before bursting out into laughter. "I have no idea! This is ridiculous! How are we married, Ranma?" Akane asked.

Ranma laughed with her. "Pretty sure this was all your doing," he said.

"My fault?! Why is it my fault?" Akane asked.

"I woke up and was already in a suit. You agreed to this wedding before I was even awake!" Ranma explained.

"I suppose that's true, but I did it so you could get your cure," Akane argued.

"Is that the only reason?" Ranma asked.

"No, it's not. I wouldn't marry you just to get your cure," Akane said.

"Then why did you marry me?" Ranma asked as he leaned in closer to Akane.

"Because you love me," Akane repeated her response from before the wedding.

"I do?" Ranma asked with a smile, repeating his own response.

Akane smirked. "Yes. You do. I know I heard you say it to me when you thought I was dead," Akane said.

Ranma leaned back, his smile turning to a frown. "Don't remind me," he said.

"I'm sorry, Ranma, but can you be honest with me about this? You did say it, didn't you?" Akane asked.

Ranma shrugged his shoulders. "I'm not sure. Maybe. There was a lot going on. I was destroyed, Akane. If you didn't wake up.. I don't know how I could have gone on living. I guess I just knew that I needed you to be in my life," Ranma smiled again at her.

Akane smiled back. "Okay then. Let me ask you this way. Ranma, do you love me?" she asked.

Ranma gulped. "Uh.. I mean.. "

Akane deadpanned. "Ranma. We're already married. If you love me, you should say it," Akane insisted.

Ranma nodded. "I guess.. You see.. What I mean to say is.." Ranma trailed on.

Akane took a deep breath. "I understand this is hard for you, Ranma. I think, after everything we've been through, that I already know the answer. That's why I married you," Akane assured him.

Ranma looked Akane in the eye and nodded. "I.. I.. uh.." he continued.

Akane swallowed her pride. "I love you, Ranma. Do you love me?" Akane asked again.

Ranma's face did not move and he did not make a sound.

"Ranma?" Akane asked.

Ranma shook his head. "You love me?" Ranma asked, shocked.

Akane nodded.

"Okay," Ranma took a breath in and looked away from Akane. "I.. love you," Ranma let his breath out quickly as he peeked to check Akane's reaction.

Akane smiled. "Thank you, Ranma. That took courage to admit. We really should have had this conversation before we got married, but I'm glad we're having it now," Akane said.

Ranma moved to look at Akane again and nodded. "Yeah, it would have helped a lot," Ranma chuckled.

"Ranma?" Akane asked.

"Hmm?" Ranma responded.

"Will you kiss me?" Akane asked.

"What?!" Ranma asked, shocked.

"Well, you kissed me at the wedding, so we got the first kiss out of the way. Can you kiss me now when you aren't feeling forced to do so?" Akane asked.

"Uhh.. Akane.. My head is spinning," Ranma admitted.

"Ranma. You are a married man. A full man. Kiss your wife," Akane insisted.

"Okay, fine," Ranma took a deep breath, then started leaning in toward Akane, who closed her eyes. Ranma looked at Akane's mouth as he gathered every ounce of courage he may have had left within him. As Ranma got closer, he closed his eyes as well and closed the gap, finally kissing his wife outside of the wedding.

Akane put her hand around Ranma's head and pulled him in tighter, slightly opening her mouth to allow Ranma free entry, should he search for it. Ranma felt what Akane was doing and licked her lips carefully. Akane took the lead in the kiss, since Ranma clearly wasn't going to. Akane could feel how tense Ranma was, so she decided to move her hand off his head and down to his shoulders, then down his chest to his abs with the hope that maybe this would loosen him up. She felt Ranma tense up even more.

"Relax," Akane broke the kiss just long enough to say, before continuing.

Ranma gave one last small kiss on Akane's lips, then pulled away. "Akane," he started.

"Yes, Ranma?" Akane said, leaving her hand on Ranma's torso.

"This isn't too much, is it?" Ranma asked.

"Ranma, if you need to stop then just tell me," Akane said.

Ranma chuckled nervously, "I mean, I thought maybe you-" he started

"Ranma, I'm fine. You clearly aren't. Is something wrong?" Akane asked.

"No, nothing's wrong. I'm just really scared. I had no time to mentally prepare for any of this," Ranma admitted.

Akane nodded. "You clearly are not ready to go further, and, honestly, I'm not sure I am, either. I mean, maybe. I don't know. I thought we could at least try to make out a little bit. Remember, I'm asking you to do this. You don't have to, but you have nothing to be worried about on my end," she told him.

"Thanks, Akane," he smiled at her, "I'm willing to try again if you are."

Akane smiled brightly. "Then come here," she said as she pulled his head in closer and kissed him.

Ranma started trying to force himself to relax a little. Without realizing what he was doing, he found himself moving slowly above Akane, getting more into it. Akane smiled through the kisses, happy that Ranma was starting to open up to her and was gaining a bit of confidence. Ranma's tongue started to push through, finding its way into Akane's mouth and exploring inside before touching her tongue with his. Ranma's hand moved through her hair, as the other was holding his position. Akane's hands started exploring Ranma's body again, but only the top half. She traced his abs with a finger as she counted them. Ranma's hand left Akane's hair and made its way down the side of her body to her hip, pulling her up toward him.

Akane moaned lightly, sending lightning through Ranma's body. Ranma squeezed the hip, then started moving his hand upward, resting it just below Akane's breast.

"Uh, Ranma?" Akane broke the kiss.

"Yeah?" Ranma asked, out of breath. He didn't wait for an answer as he traced kisses down her jawline and then her neck.

"Ranma.. I think, you might be a little more excited than you planned," Akane suggested.

"What?" Ranma lifted his head to look at Akane. He stared at her swollen lips and went to kiss her again. Akane stopped him with her finger.

"Ranma, I think you are really excited and maybe we should just take a quick breath," Akane recommended.

"What are you-" Ranma's eyes widened, as realization came crashing down on him. "Oh my God. Akane, I'm sorry!" Ranma adjusted his body away from Akane.

Akane laughed. "It's actually okay, Ranma. I don't know what I expected from making out, but that seems pretty normal," Akane explained as she pushed a lock of Ranma's hair behind his ear. "I just don't want you to have any regrets and have full control over yourself."

"You're not mad?" Ranma asked.

"It's natural." Akane acknowledged. "Look, Ranma. Don't let this ruin anything for us. If anything, it's a compliment," Akane smiled.

Ranma looked away, embarrassed. "Yeah, I like you, alright? I may talk a tough game, but I'm still a guy."

Akane smirked. "No, you love me," Akane chuckled.

"Yeah. Okay. What do I do about this?" Ranma asked, a little preoccupied with his current situation to worry about the L word.

"Well, I think that if we are ever going to move forward then your normal bodily functions will be part of it. We can treat it like a problem or we can accept it," Akane suggested.

"What do you mean?" Ranma asked, completely red in the face at this point.

Akane pulled Ranma down to the bed and pushed him onto his back. Ranma watched as she lifted herself up and threw one leg around him, ultimately straddling his body and resting herself on top of the aforementioned issue.

"What are you doing?" Ranma asked in a panic.

Akane grinned. "Just because you can't see or feel my excitement as easily, doesn't mean I'm not just as excited, silly boy," she told him as she traced her hands down his body and to his boxers. "We don't need to have sex if either of us aren't completely comfortable, but we are married. This is our wedding night. Do you really think this is so crazy a position to find ourselves in?" She asked.

Ranma gulped. "I guess I never really thought about it until earlier tonight," he admitted.

"Oh yeah? What did you think about?" Akane attempted to get some sexual communication going and she started to slightly rock her body back and forth on top of Ranma.

"Oh my god, Akane," Ranma let out an exasperated sigh. "You're killing me here." He covered his eyes with his hand.

"You can tell me to stop," Akane reminded him.

"I don't want you to! I don't think I'm ready, but my body wants you so badly right now," Ranma admitted, although he would have never made this admission in any other state.

Akane's smile brightened, very pleased with how Ranma was reacting to her. "Ranma, do you need me to stop?" Akane asked again, needing to be sure she wasn't disrespecting his boundaries.

Ranma shook his head. "I don't know what I need right now, but I know that I don't want you to stop. It feels so good," Ranma continued making admissions he wouldn't otherwise make. He took both hands and placed them on Akane's hips, helping guide her movements. "Akane, if we don't stop now, then I'm not going to want to stop at all."

Akane stopped moving. "Ranma, do you want to have sex on your wedding night?" Akane asked, seriously.

"I don't know Akane. No. Yes. I don't know!" Ranma cried out, exasperated.

Akane sighed. "Okay," she said as she unstraddled him and laid back down beside him.

Ranma covered his eyes again. "I'm sorry, Akane," he apologized. "I feel so stupid."

Akane moved his arm up and laid her head down on his chest, moving his arm to hug her shoulder. "Here. We can cuddle and just get used to each other. Is that okay?" Akane asked.

Ranma nodded. "Yeah. I think I can handle that," he said as he removed his other hand from his face and looked at her.

"Good. I don't want to push you to do anything you aren't comfortable with yet," Akane told him.

"How are you comfortable with it?" Ranma asked, a little shocked.

"I don't know, Ranma. It just felt right. I'll be okay. We will work our way up. You do want children someday right?" Akane asked.

Ranma nodded. "Yeah, not any time soon, though."

"Then it sounds like we have lots of time to figure this out," Akane told him.

"Thanks, Akane," Ranma said as he leaned over and kissed the top of her head. His body was starting to relax and his excitement started to ease.

"Let's get some sleep then, my husband, it's been a long day," Akane said as she closed her eyes.

"Goodnight, wife," Ranma smiled as he also closed his eyes.

"Goodnight, husband."
