Eggman cheered, typing away on his computer incorporating Gero's Android data and notes with his own, "Oh, the ingenious designs and inventions he built. I shall honor him through putting the best ones into my own inventions and improve upon both them and the others."

"So you're saying you invented the perfect means to control others...while he invented the superior fusion of organic and cybernetic?" Lien-Da asked.

"Eh," Eggman shrugged, "Honestly, after that blasted space monkey's last visit, my head feels so much clearer."

"So you're not worried he brainwashed you to freeze up if you try and hurt others?" she asked.

"Hmm...Good point," Eggman noted before pushing a button, "Send in Dave." a blue beaver poked his head in.

"Yes, sir?" the beaver asked before Eggman pushed a button and a mallet slammed down on his head, knocking him out.

"Nope. No freezing," Eggman shrugged.

"Right...I forgot that guy is probably even dumber than Sonic," Lien-Da sighed.

"Yeah, but he's an idiot who can blow things up as well as Super Sonic...without even transforming!" Eggman added before pushing the first button, "Send someone to collect Dave. Then get him back to his cover job to get intel about events going on in New Mobotropolis."

"So...what's the plan for...those three?" Lien-Da pointed to the Android Pods Eggman brought back.

"Well Gero labeled them failures, not enough power to surpass the Models of 16-18. But with some modifications, from our technology, I'm sure I can use them. Then I'll incorporate Gero's research into my army...so you don't all die when we do eventually anger the space monkeys. Mainly the one with a huge Widows peak...him...I know he wants to hurt me," Eggman paused for a moment, "Also you and the others because let's face it...haha...you'd all die if you tried fighting Goku. Which...he does kill...just...not as much as Widows peak..."

"Thanks for that image...so how does this even work for us?"

"Oh easy...I'm going to alter you down to the cellular level…"

"Wait, what?"

"I just said I'm going to alter you down to the cellular level," Eggman repeated, "Which isn't all that new for you with what happened with Enerjak altering you at the cellular level to remove your original cybernetics." he explained as the echidna cringed at that memory, "These, however, will let you emulate this Ki nonsense, you know, flight, laser beams, and limitless energy and stamina. Hm...that almost seems unfair. But you'll still look organic enough no one will expect it. Might even return some abilities lost from original modifications. Like I said...his cyborg work is genius, which is great...because these Androids seem impossibly hard to remake the way he made them."

"You removed the lines of data that just said 'Kill Son Goku' right?" Metal asked.

"Well I tried...but he put that in there a lot…" Eggman chuckled, "Man this guy just really hated Goku. Which I understand...with great sympathy."

"...Let me get this straight. You're gonna turn everyone in the Dark L-"

"Egg Army."

"Ugh. Egg Army...and convert us into full on cyborgs?"

"Yes I am...well I'll be keeping the 'surprise' inside ya to make sure you don't disobey me, but aside from that? Yes I will."

"If anything the 'surprise' will just be...stronger." Metal added, "Like thermonuclear...stronger."

'...It's like he's systematically destroying the Dark Legion!' Lien-Da mentally snapped, 'But at the same time...this would be an upgrade unlike any the Dark Legion would've experienced…'her fist clenched, 'Damn that tasmanian devil...If I want to find him and get my people back...I may need these upgrades.'

"It'll take a while to perfect the process for all of you. Human and Mobian biology is still...slightly different you know." Eggman rambled, waving a hand as he spoke, "But after that, it should work. I can't promise the Saiyans don't have some kinda...Hyper form though...Oh, there's a nightmare...Metal...find me medication to make me not dream…"

"Right away," Metal walked off.

"...Do you have someone in mind to be the first test subject for this?" Lien-Da asked.

"Nnnope," Eggman replied, "Kinda busy trying to wake up these three and find out about this Android Absorption tech Gero put in 13…" he admitted, "But once I get this Android...Cyborg...modified hu-er-person process down I will need someone to jump in there. Why? Have someone you want me to toss in there first?"

"Yes."

"Then shoot...oh please tell me it's Snively...that is if he survived th-" he began to ramble as he thought of things going wrong.

"Nope. Me," she answered, 'Sooner I get these upgrades...the sooner I can find that damn tasmanian devil.'

"Personal reasons, and if I die from this…" Lien-Da began as electricity crackled off her, "I will haunt you and drag you to hell myself."

Sirens wailed as two cars shot down a busy street, weaving through traffic. Following them on hot pursuit was a police car, its siren wailing. The driver of the red car was a purple weasel wearing a fedora with one side bent upwards and a tooth poking out of his mouth. His eye twitched as he turned his head around to glare at a green duck with a red scarf that was making siren noises beside a stoic yellow polar bear in red mittens and cap and a green scarf.

"BEAN, WILL YA STOP WAILING?!" the weasel snapped.

"Sush! I am trying to have a conversation here, Nack! Yeesh, can ya believe him, Bark?" the duck asked the bear, who just raised a brow, "Yeah, I'm right. Awoooooooo~Rrrreeeeeeoooooow~"

"Why did I ever agree to doin' this?" the weasel deadpanned as he looked over at the yellow car where three humans were in it along with several stacks of cash before focusing back on the road, "Oh, right. Was supposed ta be easy money."

"Oh! That's neat!" Bean beamed.

"Oh, what now?" Nack deadpanned as he looked to his left to see Sonic running backwards while munching on a chili-dog, "...YOU AGAIN!?"

"Long time no see, Nack," Sonic casually greeted, "Seems you're making new friends."

"Why are you even here?!"

"You know it's ironic...I was here with my buddy for some free time...you know get away from the daily life...see long story short is that I found my folks again, world is safe, so now I'm forced to go to school...SCHOOL! Do you believe it? Me?!" he ranted, "It's horrible...like prison...but at least Prison has some kinds of recess...high school? ...It's worse! So I finally get a day off...but things are so boring without a world ending threat...that is 'till he showed me a way to have some fun."

"How are you saying all this while running backwards?!" Nack snapped.

"Hey, I'm in the middle of a story…" Sonic complained while jumping over a car door that opened, "So anyway, he showed me how to have fun with free time, stopping bad guys! Which I must say...is way better use of my time...but moms you know."

"Oh for the...Bean, blow him up!" Nack barked, "...Bean!"

"So you move this string with your pinkie and ta-dah!" a girl's voice spoke and Nack looked back at the back seat to see Roll sitting by Bean-who was in complete awe at the cat's cradle she was doing with a shiny ribbon-and a perplexed Bark.

"Whoa~!" Bean awed, "I never knew you could make shapes with a shiny ribbon~"

"Oh, that's Roll, she's with me...in like...multiple meanings...It's a bit of a story!" Sonic chuckled.

"Hello," Roll greeted as she gave the ribbon to Bean...who managed to tie his hands together, "Oh dear."

"Shiny ribbon, why~?" Bean whined.

"Oh...almost time for Gohan's turn. Roll, out of the car." Sonic whistled as he stopped running.

"Hai~" Roll saluted before giving Bark a basket of baked goods, "For you."

"?" Bark raised a brow.

"You seem very nice even if you get wrapped up in bad things," Roll stated before falling off the back of the car and zipping up to beside Sonic, "Sayonara~!"

"What is going on here?!" Nack asked in anger fueled confusion before their car crashed into the yellow one, the air bags smacking all three of them in the face, "Ow…"

The reason for the crash? A foot on the hood of the yellow car. Said foot was covered by a white foot with yellow tips leading up to black tights and a green gi of sorts with a long orange cape. The owner's face was covered by a pair of sunglasses and their hair hidden by a white bandana. He smirked as one of the human drivers of the yellow car stood up and began shooting a machine gun at him...only for him to swing his hand and catch every single bullet unloaded from the weapon and let them all fall down and bounce off the hood of the car.

"My turn…" he smirked, gently pushing his foot down on the hood of the car...crumpling it and the motor with the force he exerted, and lifting the car up to catapult all three occupants, letting them land face first on the road.

"Oh wowee!" Bean awed, "Are we really getting hung up by Superman?"

"Bean, what have I told ya about that company's comics?!" Nack snapped.

"To not mention them?" Bean asked, tilting his head.

"Exactly," Nack snorted before looking at Bark, "Will ya stop eating those?!"

Bark raised a brow, pausing in his chewing of a strudel, "?"

"Well you got them from who I can only assume is Sonic's new girlfriend...so yes I mind!" Nack explained his rage.

Bark shrugged as he resumed his chewing, but did reach over to Bean's bound hands and tugged on an end, causing the entire ribbon to fall off.

"YAY! FREEDOM~!" Bean cheered as he spread his arms out...which now had two large bombs as big as his head that popped out of nowhere, "Let's celebrate with fireworks!"

"I'll take those," the man smirked, pointing with his fingers as the bombs lifted up into the air on their own.

"Did he just…?" Nack asked as Bark nodded slowly, "Okay, good. It's not the head trauma from the crash. Good to know."

"Eee~! Boomy and Blewy are flying bombs!" Bean awed as he spun his hands and began to throw sticks of TNT out of the spinning hands, "Fly with your family!"

"Bean?" Nack asked.

"Yes?" he smiled.

"Did you light these?" Nack asked slowly.

"No, silly. They light themselves!" Bean beamed.

"OUT OF THE CAR!" Nack panicked.

"Wow...I've never had the bad guys take care of themselves. I'm impressed!" the man chuckled, "Though the making bombs out of thin air is new. Is he making them with Ki?"

"No keys here!" Bean beamed before digging under his scarf and pulled out a bomb twice as big as the car and threw it at him, "But bombs are~!"

"Your racket, my good sir," Sonic joked as he offered a tennis racket to the man.

"Hm? Oh, thanks," he chuckled before using it to send the bomb back at the bus.

"Oh no," Nack squeaked as the bomb landed.

*BOOM!*

"I HATE TODAY~!" Nack screamed as the trio sailed off into the distance due to the explosion.

"WHEE~! We're birds of a feather!" Bean cheered.

"SHUT IT, BEAN!"

"Fifteen Love," Roll giggled, holding up a scorecard.

"Beats my score from last time," the man smiled, "And I think she should be done with the others.'' With that, the three humans were tossed over them and landed in a beaten and bruised pile in front of them, "Well...no broken bones this time, Videl...your ability to hold back is improving."

"The machine gun was hard…" they turned to a woman in a similar outfit only with purple tights and an aqua gi with a white helmet in place of sunglasses and bandana, "But I think it's better broken. That way, they can't lose it and let someone else use it."

"It's weird how metal is...like super easy to bend like paper now, right?" Sonic asked, folding one of their rifles into an origami crane.

"A little," Roll admitted as she pulled out some chains to tie the trio up, "Though what's more worrying is when we won't even point things like this out."

"I think that's life in general for my dad…" the man sighed, removing his disguise to show Gohan...which we already knew.

"Well, the day's saved...time to go home and not do anything horrible…" Sonic began as he attempted to walk away, only for Roll to stop him, "Please don't make me…"

"Hmm…"

"Come on, please~?"

"We can still make it for Drama." Gohan smiled.

"No-ho-ho…" Sonic whined, his ears drooping as he slumped.

As the four left the scene to the Police to deal with, they were unaware of a figure watching them in the distance.

"This is torture…" Sonic groaned as Gohan dragged him into class, "And I've been tortured...It was preferable…"

"Well if you don't like it...you could always test out of school like Tails did." Gohan offered.

"Roll doesn't wanna yet," Sonic replied.

"And here I thought you did whatever you wanted whenever you wanted." Videl smiled.

"Okay, see? This is why girls have always been a conundrum for me…" Sonic argued, "Plus we have that little bond thing, remember?"

"Oh yeah. How far can you two be from each other now anyway?" Gohan asked.

"Double our initial limit," Roll replied.

"To be fair, I imagine it's hard to quantify how this develops per couple," Videl added, "So Gohan you can't use science to measure it…" she sighed.

"Not with that attitude." Gohan argued.

"See what I have to deal with…" Videl sighed to Roll.

"Oh, I feel for you," Roll agreed, "I keep finding Chili Dogs in the strangest places myself."

"Hey…" Sonic fumed before a white watch on Videl began to beep, "Yes!"

"Ugh...I hate answering this just cause it encourages you two…" Videl sighed, "You're go for Videl."

"Oh, that's bad," Sonic cringed.

"This could not be the most random time…" Videl sighed, looking at Gohan and Roll, "I know just the people to talk him down."

"Great! We'll head on over and…"

"We are not missing the Algebra exam," Videl stated, making the hedgehog fall over in defeat.

"Algebra and a rescue! Best day ever!" Gohan smiled.

"Words! They're just words!" a small old man with pink skin and what looked like antennae-like whiskers on his chin, dressed in old ragged robes and a tall black hat keeping his long grey hair back; ranted as he was holding onto the side of a tower, having climbed all the way to the top over the balcony section and clinging to the antenna section, "As if you really cared!? None of you know what it's like to live in despair! One step and it'll all be over!"

"Yeah, over us!" one man shouted.

"Is he really gonna jump?" another bystander asked as a large crowd gathered hearing his screams.

"Do a flip!" Another laughed out.

"Can you even see him up there?" one woman asked.

"I don't know...maybe up there…"

"That's a bird…" the woman sighed.

"I hope it's not the Battle Bird Armada," a Mobian mink noted.

"No, just the normal bird."

"Oh thank the Ancient Walker," another Mobian sighed in relief.

"So wait...what's this guy doing again?" a man who just arrived asked.

"I dunno...he's been shouting about jumping for like...hours...but hasn't done anything yet," a dog Mobian replied.

"Oh...one of those guys…" a man sighed.

"I know, right?" the dog noted, shaking his head before his ears twitched, "Hm? Something's coming this way."

"Look! It's Great Saiyaman!" one person shouted as everyone looked to see Gohan in his hero alter-ego fly over them and up to the top of the tower.

"My mind is made up! I'm going to jump!" the little old man shouted before blinking as he looked up at Saiyaman flying next to him.

"No problem...but take my hand first." he offered.

"Get back! I want to die!" the old man complained in a slightly over dramatic tone.

"Well, you're not gonna be able to do much at the moment," the old man looked up to see Sonic lying on his back on the beam above him, picking his ear, "Mostly 'cause of the cuff on your wrist."

"Wait, cuff?" the old man asked before looking to see a handcuff on his wrist connected to the bar he was holding to, "Gah! When did that happen!?"

"Who knows?" Sonic shrugged, twirling a key between his right hand's fingers, "But, I do know that there are laws that can't let you sue us for trying to keep you from offing yourself."

"Nnnn…" the elder sweated a little at that.

"Sonic, seriously, did you take a policeman's handcuffs?" Gohan asked.

"Nah. ...I took Shadow's handcuffs back at the beach," Sonic replied, "Okay, ladies, he's all unjumpable now."

"I mean it's not inaccurate, but the way he says it…" Videl sighed, floating up in her own hero attire.

"It's just Sonikku being himself," Roll giggled, using her tail as a hook to hold herself up beside the startled elder, "Ne, sir? I heard you've been up here for hours."

"Um...I have."

"Well with how long you've been up here, screaming and holding onto the building, aren't you a little hungry?" Roll asked.

"Hungry?! Absolutely no…" the elder began before his stomach loudly rumbled, making him blush and try not to look at them.

"Well, he said 'absolutely,'" Videl noted, "And his stomach did growl. So whatcha got, Roll?"

"Ano…" Roll dug into her hair before pulling out a bento wrapped in a yellow cloth, "Some fried rice with bits of different meats and a strawberry diced into it and a thermos of jasmine tea with a hint of strawberry."

"I'll take some tea. Gohan might take a while listening to his life story." Videl sighed, "Sonic...take him to the park, would ya?"

"Uh...I just dropped the key...give me a second." he ran off before coming back, "Okay...so...I lost...it...in a vent...that I can't fit in…"

"Well, you're an idiot, so this is nothing new." Videl sighed, "Gohan…"

"Breaking it," he quickly replied.

"And done," Roll noted, holding up the unlocked handcuffs.

"Ninja for the win," Sonic chuckled before a clicking sound went off, "...Did you just handcuff me by my ankles?"

"Maybe," Roll replied as she handed him the lockpicking kit.

"...I'm not even upset…" Sonic admitted.

"What is with the kids on this planet…?" the old man was left totally shocked.

"Tapion?" Gohan repeated as they had relocated to a park with a large fountain where he, the elder, and Roll sat on the rim of the fountain while Videl leaned against a tree...with Sonic fiddling with the lockpick kit on his cuffed ankles with a half-eaten Chili-Dog beside him.

"A great warrior who lived well over a thousand years ago. What do schools teach kids these days?" the old man asked in disbelief.

"Wow…" Gohan awed, "That's amazing! I guess news like that never finds its way to our universe." he shrugged to Roll, who shrugged in return.

"I mean...it's a lot bigger now…" Sonic grunted before grinning as he held up the unlocked cuffs, "Got 'em!"

"Three minutes and thirty-one seconds," Roll noted, a stopwatch in her hand.

"A lot faster when I don't use these," Sonic chuckled.

"Though I guess this world has its own interesting heroes..." the old man muttered.

"Still would like to meet this Tapion guy," Gohan smiled.

"Of course you could," the old man smiled.

"Really?!" Gohan asked excitedly, "Where is he?"

"I thought you'd never ask," he began digging around in his robes before holding up an old white and gold music box, "I just happened to bring him along!" he smirked as the four leaned into look at the box, "Unfortunately, he's been sealed into this Music Box."

"Wait what? I thought this dude was a hero? Why'd he get put in...a...music box?" Sonic asked.

"A conundrum that beckons to be solved," the old man smirked, getting the interest of the boys mostly.

"I do not like this mood," Videl spoke up, "We should go."

"Hai, hai," Roll agreed, moving away from the music box, "If someone's sealed away, there has to be a reason to not release them."

"Ah come on...this is getting good!" Sonic argued.

"Yeah, you know more than you're telling!" Gohan added.

"Tapion's home world was spared...but the same crisis now threatens your planet!" the old man declared dramatically as Gohan and Sonic kept eating this up.

"Crisis?!" Sonic asked in excitement while Gohan asked in panic.

"The evil shall consume your...large...awkwardly named planet. Before moving onto the rest of the universe!" he explained, "There is nothing you can do to stop it! Only Tapion can stop this evil from consuming your world!" he held up the music box as the boys stared at it with intense conviction...while the girls only sighed, realizing their boyfriends...were total idiots, "That's why I spent the last 30 years looking for this Music Box!"

"And you haven't opened it because...?" Videl asked.

"Don't you think I tried!" he broke character as he tried to turn the little handle.

"Ah you're just weak from age. Here, let me try!" Sonic took the Music Box...and tried as well...to little success, "Just gotta...Grr...HNNG!" he grunted, trying as hard as he could, "Nope...no good. Muscles!" He handed it to Gohan.

"Grrr…" Gohan grunted, trying with his super strength and once again...nothing, "This is one tough handle."

"School should be close enough," Roll noted to Videl.

"But is the classroom close enough?" Videl countered.

"Ah mou...Good point, Videl-chan," Roll sighed.

"Besides...If we leave these two alone...who knows what this guy will talk them into," Videl pointed to Sonic and Gohan, now trying together now.

"It...won't...budge!" Gohan grunted, even going Super Saiyan now in an attempt to force the handle to turn.

"There is one thing that could be tried," the old man noted, "The Eternal Dragon."

"Shenron-dono?" Roll asked.

"Yes. It's part of why I came to this planet. I heard of the Eternal Dragon and its power to grant wishes," he explained, "I'm hoping that it could use its power to unlock the box so that Tapion could save this world."

"Wait...did you con us?!" Sonic realized.

"Yes!" Both girls complained.

"There really is one born every minute…" Sonic chuckled.

"Some never grow up…" the old man giggled.

"So...you don't trust him, yet you bring him here?" Krillin asked as he greeted the kids at Capsule Corp and led them and the old man to Bulma's lab...well one of them anyway.

"Well it was either this or school!" Sonic laughed, "I still think we made the right choice."

"And Conman or not...we can't take a risk on another ultimate evil attacking us," Videl argued.

"True…" Krillin sighed.

"Okay, testing deroboticization attempt 69," Dr. Briefs spoke, standing with Skye and Chuck...while Jules was upside down in a tank of green-tinted water with several nodes attached to him.

"...Why did I get convinced to get in here?" Jules whimpered.

"Because you and your son are alike in personality," Skye noted.

"Also for science!" Dr. Briefs cheered, "Goggles on!"

"Right!" Skye and Chuck replied, already wearing goggles.

"This may give a tingly sensation, Jules," Chuck warned.

"Can we not and say we did?" Jules pleaded.

"Only if you can go a minute without saying 'Hi, Maurice,'" Skye replied.

"Hi, dad," Sonic greeted as they walked by.

"Begin test," Dr. Briefs spoke.

"Beginning test," Chuck replied while laughing at Jules' flub.

"Roll...your dad is kind of a cheater at bets…" Videl replied as if this was casual for all of them.

"It's why he's banned from all the casinos," Roll replied, "Financially ruined them before they realized what he was doing aside from the ones run by Breezie-san."

"They'll never find the money!" Skye cheered before whispering to his fellow scientists while they ignored Jules's yelps and babbling in the tank as it kept flashing on and off, "Mainly because it's not even in this Zone anymore."

"Oh, good thinking," Dr. Briefs noted with a nod.

"Try not to blow up again!" Sonic shouted as they were further down the hall.

"I swear that if-ghghghghg-that dragon comes ba-a-a-a-a-ck…" Jules spoke between zaps, "I'l g-g-g-g-giiii-get him to get you-hoo-hoo three back for thi-i-i-i-is~!"

Everyone stood in a dark lab as a machine was scanning the Music Box. Everyone looked at the machine since that was the more impressive aspect while the smarter of the group huddled around Bulma for when she gave her explanation of what the machine is, what it does, and why it was important.

"Hmm…" Bulma muttered, "Nope…" she shook her head, "We tried everything we could, but whatever that box is made of, it can't be scanned, x-rayed, or anything. It's just pure magic."

"I hate it when stuff like this shows up," Tails sighed, "I really wish my Uncle Merlin was here. He'd probably know something on how to open it."

"Hmm…" Goku muttered as he picked up the Music box...and began trying to turn the handle, he grunted and was able to move it a bit...but beyond that nothing, "Man this thing is stuck...you'd think it'd break with how fragile it looks...but I'm using a lot of my strength and nothing!"

"Well there you go. If Goku can't open it, it's stuck for good." Krillin sighed.

"Not necessarily," Goku argued, "Why not just get Shenron?"

"Good thinking!" Sonic grinned, "We'll use a wish for the box!" he looked over at Bulma, "Can we borrow some Dragon Radars?"

"Borrow? Yes. Sell it for food or money? No," Bulma replied, glaring at Goku at the last bit.

"I only did that once," Goku noted.

"It was the Radar or food…" Goku argued.

"You traded away my marvel of scientific innovation...for a cheeseburger!" Bulma snapped.

"Ah come on...I was a kid…"

"It was last month!"

"Oh look at the time! It's Dragon Ball hunting time!" Goku changed the subject.

"Oh, of all the…" Bulma growled before tossing everyone a radar, "Fine! But I swear that if you lose that, Goku, I am telling Chi-Chi about this."

"You think if there are any wishes left when we open the box, we can wish for something fun or yummy?" Goten pondered to Trunks and Haseo.

"How about this: first one to bring back a Dragon Ball gets the remaining wishes," Bulma offered.

"Already going out!" Tails called, flying out with his namesakes through an open window and a radar, 'New parts for my planes, here I come!'

"Infinity Pizza!" Goten cheered, picking up Haseo and dragging Trunks away.

"Same...but Chili Dogs!" Sonic cheered, grabbing Roll's hand and dragging her off in a blur.

"Infinite food?! I'm on it!" Goku cheered as he flew off.

"...You're not going to go after food, are you?" Bulma asked, looking at Shadow.

"No," Shadow replied as he walked off, "Not interested in the wishes, either."

"Might as well make sure Goku doesn't break into someone's house to take a Dragon Ball...again…" Krillin sighed, leaving.

"Are you sure this is it?" Trunks asked as they arrived in the mountains to the north.

"Yeah...the beeping says it's here," Goten replied he then blinked as Haseo pointed up, "Oh...that makes more sense." he muttered, seeing Eggman's ship, "Hey...it's the creepy egg guy!"

"...Do we blow it up?" Trunks asked.

"What about the Dragon Ball?" Goten asked, "...Haseo...you're my brain...got any ideas?"

"E-Eh? A-Ano…" Haseo gulped, "...Sneak in and swipe it? Maybe blow things up if we get caught?"

"See...brain," Goten smiled, he then turned around so his back was facing Haseo, "Okay, climb on!"

"Un!" Haseo nodded as he did so.

"So we either go in and get out, proving we can be super sneaky, or we can prove we're awesome in fighting if we get caught. I'm liking this plan!" Trunks beamed as the two flew off up to the ship.

"Yeah!" Goten cheered.

"So...lions have it…" Krillin noted as they found the ball in the lion habitat at the zoo, where a lioness was playing with the three-star Dragon Ball.

"Yep!" Goku beamed.

"...You're going to just jump in there, aren't you?"

"Well, yeah. Wasn't that our plan?" Goku asked.

"Wait...Our plan?" Krillin repeated, "...Goku, don't you dare. Don't you dare."

"Alley-oop!" Goku called as he dared.

"Gyah!" Krillin yelped as Goku jumped over while carrying Krillin...before the lions all pounced on them, "Not again!"

"So not only are we on an adventure to save the world...but we also lucked out and have to go to an amusement park," Sonic listed as he and Roll were on a roller coaster, "Best Skip day...ever!" he cheered as the ride began, "All my ideas are the best!"

"Ano...What about the time when you tried to jump that canyon on your EX Gear while doing Mongolian Throat SInging and playing the accordion?" Roll recalled.

"Most of my ideas are the best!" he corrected himself while looking around from their position on the roller coaster to try and spot the Dragon Ball, "Hey Nachos...I always wanted to try those!" he changed the subject, making Roll shake her head with a small smile.

"Hmm?" Eggman looked up from his work as he heard rumbling, "What was that?" he turned to a small screen, "Report...What is going on?!"

=Lord Eggman...children have broken into the ship!=

"Children...well deal with them!" he snapped.

=We're trying...but sir...it's one of Goku's children!=

"GH!" Eggman cringed at that.

=Hey, what's that?= Goten asked as he dragged the speaker down, he then poked his head up, =Hi, Mr. Eggman! Can we have your Dragon Ball please!?= he smiled happily.

"T-tiny Goku...on my ship…" Eggman muttered.

=Hey! What's this do?= Trunks asked as something exploded =Uh...That was already broken=

"...METAL!" Eggman shouted.

"Hah...Yes…" he sighed.

"Deal with these two!" he pointed to show Trunks and Goten, making faces on the screen as Haseo just sighed at what was happening.

"Sir, I feel I should warn you...if we hurt them...they will panic and flare their energy...calling their Fathers…" Metal pointed out, "Which would be bad. But since they want the Dragon Balls they intend to make a wish, and with my new radar...we can collect them first while they are scattered,"

"No, that's stupid! I know...we let them take the ball, then after they make their wish...we collect the Dragon Balls first with your new Radar!" Eggman repeated the idea as if his own.

"...Brilliant, sir," Metal rolled his optics.

"Great...Lien-Da...give the kids the ball before they blow up the whole ship!" Eggman snapped.

=Button!= Goten cheered as the ship stalled for a second, knocking everyone over =Trunks did it…=

=Ah…= Haseo sighed as he looked around =Mmm...In here?= a crackle went off offscreen before a 'poof' went off =MMMMM~!=

=Ah man...He's all poofy again...I always get zapped when I carry him like that= Goten complained =Well...gonna have to blow up that room!=

=Wait, wait, wait! Do not blow up the room! You'll blow us all up!= Lien-Da was heard offscreen before she walked in...carrying the Dragon Ball and Haseo =Here. Take the ball=

=Oh, thanks nice lady!= Goten beamed =Can I have him back, too?=

"Lien-Da, put the boy down," Eggman ordered, facepalming.

"Hmm...Interesting. Small shy children with puffy fur seem to attract the attention of any female," Metal noted.

=Oh fine…=

=Than-AH! He zapped me again!= Goten cried in shock.

=How come you didn't get shocked?= Trunks asked.

=Because I can shock others= Lien-Da deadpanned before pushing button =Like so=

=EEK!= the trio yelped as they fell out of the trap door and out of the ship.

"This is why I hate kids…" Eggman sighed.

"To be fair...it's mutual," Metal responded.

"Got it!" Goku cheered, walking out with a male Lion hanging onto him by his shoulders and trying to bite his head...only for nothing to really happen let alone bother the adult Saiyan, as he walked out carrying the Lion like some kind of cape, "They just wanted something to play with!" he chuckled as even the Lion sweatdropped out of awkwardness.

"Why do I only ever get the cubs?" Krillin asked as the Lion Cubs were hanging off him.

"Maybe because you're the cat's meow?" Goku asked with a laugh.

"..." Krillin and all the lions just gave him a deadpan look, "Let's just go."

"How long has this been up here?" Sonic asked as he and Roll stood atop the Merry-go-round as the Dragon Ball was turned into a piece on the top.

"I guess long enough to be a decoration," Roll shrugged as she dug into her cleavage and pulled out a duplicate down to the same number of stars before replacing the Dragon Ball with the fake, "There we go. They don't lose the decoration and we get the Dragon Ball."

"This is why Haseo is Goten's brain. Just like how you are now kind of...my brain," Sonic muttered, "You and your family are better at it."

"Eh-heh-heh. N-Not really…" Roll noted, blushing a little at the praise.

"You've made a lot of things easier for me...mostly cause...again you're smarter."

"Eh-heh. W-Well...I've had a lot of help thanks to Sally-hime," Roll noted.

"I didn't take her 'Warn any girl you date of what an idiot you are' that seriously..." Sonic muttered.

"Still...Do you think there will be one or two wishes after the first one?" Roll asked.

"You want the other for infinite strawberries?" Sonic asked.

"Iie. It's more...that I want to find where Shenron-dono's wish took those Echidnas that were revived from the Egg Grape things," Roll noted, "I've noticed Knuckles-san is really sad when he sees us at times."

"Huh...He must be thinkin' of Julie-Su…" he whispered before speaking aloud, "Well, I guess that is better than Infinity Chili Dogs…" Sonic sighed, rubbing the back of his head, "I'm cool with letting you take the wish if that's the case. But Next time...Chili Dogs!"

"Promise," Roll nodded, offering her pinkie to him.

"Alright," he smiled, returning the gesture to seal their promise, "Now...let's go earn that win...before Goku remembers he can teleport." he smiled before picking her up and dashing off.

"Got it!" Goten called out as he, Trunks and Haseo returned last among the groups, "Ah man...you guys already won! No infinite Pizza…" he sniffled as Trunks took the Dragon Ball and left Goten to sulk in his corner.

"Ano...There-there," Haseo comforted, patting Goten's shoulder, "Maybe next time?"

"So who did win?" Trunks asked.

"Sonic…" everyone replied.

"Goku forgot he can teleport…" Krillin sighed.

"Hahahaha...That is a bad habit of mine, isn't it?!" Goku laughed.

"Sadly, yes. And me, too, for forgetting you could as well," Krillin admitted.

"Well that makes the extra wish ours!" Sonic cheered, "Let's do it!"

"I love this part!" Goku smiled, "Arise, Shenron!"

With that, the sky blackened as the mighty Eternal Dragon rose up into the sky, making many countless loops around the clouds before aiming his head down low to talk to the mortals who summoned him.

"I am the Eternal Drago…" he paused, seeing who summoned him, before he sighed, "I can grant only 2 wishes. Not enough time has passed since my last wish to revive all those people this kind girl asked for. Quickly tell me what your first wish is."

"Good thing you talked to me before we won…" Sonic chuckled to Roll.

"Hai," Roll nodded.

"Mind if the kids go first?" Goku asked the old man, "They did win after all."

"Of course," he assured, "I've waited this long, so a few more minutes will not hurt."

"Arigatou," Roll thanked before looking up at the dragon, "Shenron-dono, for a while now, I've noticed my friend Knuckles-san look at Sonikku and I as if he sees something he misses in us. My wish is to know where the Echidnas revived by the Egg Grapes were taken so I can give something to Knuckles-san to help him not be saddened anymore."

"You wish for knowledge…" Shenron spoke, "An unusual wish...but one I can grant all the same," with that, his eyes began glowing, "The Mobian Echidna race lives, but due to their being banished to an unstable Pocket dimension upon Mobius and Earth's fusion, they were not able to take up the same location. Upon granting your wish from before, I sent the revived Echidna to the others who have found themselves on...Planet Namek in the South Galaxy. The...uh...Second one..." Shenron explained.

"Namek?" Krillin repeated.

"Oh no...we're going into space again, aren't we…?" Sonic realized.

"Soka...Arigatou, Shenron-dono," Roll thanked with a bow.

"Please state your second wish now," Shenron nodded simply before everyone moved to let the elder approach.

"I wish only for the release of the noble Tapion from his cruel prison, Lord Shenron," the old man informed, offering the music box to the dragon.

"It shall be done!" Shenron spoke as his eyes flashed...and shot lightning at the box, making the old man yelp in pain and drop the box as he was blasted back. The box began to shine for a moment 'till it faded, "Your wish has been granted!" he replied as he turned back into light as the Dragon Balls flew up...and dispersed across the planet once more.

"No! Four Star!" Goku cried out, flying off for a moment. After a moment, he teleported back with a sad aura around him, "I lost Four Star again…" he slumped down.

"Honestly, with how often you talk about it, you should make a team called Team Four Star just for finding it," Sonic noted.

"Someone already got the name," Goku sighed.

"Told ya we should have gone with Team Three Star…" Krillin replied.

"It's not the same!" Goku sobbed, falling over.

"Shenron seems to be losing his touch," Bulma noted as she looked at the music box.

"Hm?" Haseo pondered as he picked it up.

"Careful, Haseo," Sally advised, "It might still have a charge."

"Mmm...It doesn't feel like it," Haseo noted as he took the handle...and actually got it to move, "Ohh…" his tails wagged a little as he kept cranking, letting the music play, "Sugoi...It's nice music."

"Oh wow...Shenron did open it...kinda, he un-jammed the handle." Gohan realized.

"He must have just been cranky that we woke him up early…" Sonic guessed, looking at the still twitching old man, "Really...cranky…"

"Pfft...Cranky…" Roll giggled, covering her mouth at the unintended pun from the hedgehog.

"It sounds so pretty…" Bulma added as she walked over to hear the music better.

"Sounds...kinda sad to me," Videl added.

"Now that you mention it...it does have a bit of a sad tone to it," Sally noted.

"Is that an Ocarina…?" Krillin asked.

"They have those in space?!" Sonic asked.

"Huh?" Haseo blinked as the lid finally opened...and flooded the area with what seemed to be steam, "AH!" he panicked, dropping it to the ground as the music kept playing.

The sky began to darken once more as the steam began spiraling around the music box as it continued to open. A green glow filled the air as the steam began forming together till it took the shape of a man. The music grew louder, and stronger, as well as sadder. The Old man backed away 'till he was behind everyone, an evil smile on his face as he unleashed a dark aura that went towards the steam. His grin grew and grew until...he stopped, because whatever he was doing had no effect. The figure kept glowing green as ripples of energy formed around them almost like a dome keeping them all in place. A bright green flash came from the box...as it shattered. But yet the music continued as the sky began to clear and the steam faded away into the air.

Floating there was a man...an alien man, but for the most part he looked very much like a human. He was dressed in orange and green robes that looked old, like something from an older medieval time. Strapped to his back was a sword kept safe in a sheath. His features that made it clear he was not human were clear such as his long pointed ears, his slightly different hued skin. His hair was a bright crimson red unlike any they'd ever seen, and grew in a long spiky mohawk pattern leaving the sides of his head shaven, with a metallic headpiece almost like a crown looping around the back of his head and kept in place tightly along the sides of his head just above his ears. He was the one currently playing an old ocarina with his eyes closed...almost as if...he was asleep.

"Another alien...that looks like a human…" Sonic muttered as the man stopped his song and slowly opened his eyes to reveal them to be a bright green.

"Cool…" Trunks spoke, stepping forward to get a better look at the Hero Tapion.

The Old man smirked, walking forward to greet Tapion...only for the hero to aim his sword at his neck.

"Are you the one...who awoke me?" Tapion questioned.

"...Haseo-chan…" Roll whispered.

"Um…" Haseo looked at his tails and the white one twitched before he nodded at her.

"You're welcome. Must be oh so nice to finally have some leg room after a thousand years?" the Old man asked, his smile never once leaving his face.

"You old fool...have you any idea what you've done?" Tapion asked, "Send me back!" he ordered, pushing the tip of his sword closer.

"I'm afraid that...is not an option," he smiled before opening his eyes as his smile grew sinister, "The Music box is destroyed."

"..." Tapion's eyes widened as he lowered his sword.

"...Haseo?" Roll whispered to her little brother, motioning to the old man.

"..." Haseo looked at his tails and the black one twitched.

"?!" Roll tensed, "Soka…"

"What?" Videl asked.

"Later," Roll quietly replied.

"Hi!" Goku cheered, shattering the tension that filled the air, "You must be Tapion! Boy, it took us a while to get you out!"

"Do you have any idea what you've just done?" Tapion asked, making everyone blink, "I don't know that I can stop him this time…" he turned away from them and sheathed his sword.

"What do you mean?" Goku asked in concern, not just for what that meant but for Tapion, as his voice sounded...pained.

Tapion, however, had already begun walking away, jumping over the little hand railing fence separating the Capsule Corp compound from the rest of town. The alien warrior just...kept walking without saying anything else. Like he couldn't get away from people fast enough.

"He's so cool…" Trunks spoke, impressed by the silent warrior, "I wanna be just like him!"

"Take it easy, Trunks…" Bulma sighed, not liking the idea of her son becoming some moody sword carrying...wait a minute…probably best she not continue this train of thought due to some irony she'd rather not point out.

"He looked...sad…" Goku noted, "Something's fishy here."

Somewhere far outside the city, Tapion had found his way to a long abandoned factory. He decided to use this isolated location as a place to stay. Far from people, and so decrepit and decayed no one in their right mind would come out here. That is unless you're a trio of kids who were acting on a really dumb idea to follow this strange alien warrior who seemed like the embodiment of cool to them. Even if two of them were...having some second thoughts.

"Is this a good idea...this seems like a bad one...Haseo?" Goten asked.

"Well...he seems like a good person, demo...he seems sad and wants some time to himself," Haseo answered.

"How can you tell he's good?"

"My tails," Haseo answered as he raised his white tail, "If this tail twitches, the person I'm looking at has a good heart, and…" he paused as he raised his black tail, "If this one twitches...that person has evil in their heart."

"How long have you had that?" Goten asked.

"All my life," Haseo replied, "My late Aunt Dove could do it, too. Even if she did have just one tail."

"...That is gonna be so useful from now on…" Goten admitted, "We...meet a lot of tricky people."

"And then our dads blow them up…" Trunks added, "But see? That just means Tapion is a good guy!"

"I don't know...even if he is a good guy...he seemed kinda cranky, like Mr. Shadow," Goten muttered, "Only, you know...tall."

"What? No way...Tapion is way cooler than Shadow!" Trunks argued as he found a panel in, "Ah-hah!"

"Um...Shouldn't you knock first?" Goten asked as Trunk opened it.

"Knock-Kno-ah…" Trunks paused.

"Grrrr!" Tapion growled holding his head, his growl and glare so intense it made Trunks jump back in fright.

"What's up?" Goten asked as Trunks fell backwards.

"I-I think he's busy…" Trunks chuckled, "Let's go...let him...have some personal time…"

"Hai, hai!" Haseo nodded before looking at the opening and pulled out a small bento and tossed it down to Tapion.

"I told you to knock…" Goten sighed, picking up Haseo as they flew off.

"Shut up!" Trunks complained.

Tapion sighed as the headache that caused him to growl and glare subsided. He took a few breaths to calm himself...to let his face return to it's normal calm expression. He did feel bad for scaring those kids off like that, but...it was better that was he thought. He looked down at the Bento and picked it up. He walked over to the rubble he used as a chair and sat back down. He looked at it for a while before opening it up.

"..." he used the provided spork for the case he didn't know how to use the chopsticks, and began to dig in. "Hmm…" it was good, amazing even, but...the taste...reminded him far too much of...Home.

Back at Capsule Corp, as was now their tradition, with each use of the Dragon Balls; friends and family would come together for food. In this case, a barbeque. They called the others of their family but most would rather stay home this time, save for Roshi who made it there in almost record time...and was already drunk.

"So this is how Goku got to Namek the first time?" Tails asked, looking at some blueprints Bulma had brought out.

"My Dad finished it after me, Krillin, and Gohan left in Kami's old ship. Faster than any other ship at the time, but not as fast as the finished one Dad made. What took us more than a month...took Goku barely a week." Bulma sighed, "The latest model is even faster too."

"But not much space," Tails noted.

"True…" Bulma noted.

"Hmm...I think I have an idea," Tails noted as he dug into his right tail and pulled out some blueprints, "What do you think if we incorporated that model into this one?"

"Hm?" Bulma opened the offered blueprint and her eyes widened, "Tails, this is amazing!"

"It's no big deal…" Tails chuckled, rubbing the back of his head.

"Well...I think we could make this happen...could give Dad and the others a break to work on something new. I think Sonic's dad would love the break from...the Dr. Frankenstein bunch." Bulma muttered.

"I would...I very much would…" Jules noted, his head lying on the table beside them as his wife was giving said bunch a very telling look from how they were trying to not look at the annoyed blue/purple female hedgehog.

"I think we can finish something in about...a week?" Bulma looked to her father who gave a thumbs up along with his friends, "So a week to finish up this...and then plan a trip to Namek. Which...I will not be joining this time...we can send...one of those old wackos." she pointed to her father and his little think tank of geniuses.

"...I think she means you," Skye stage-whispered to Sonic, who was sitting near them with Roll, the former munching on a Chili-Dog.

"Hey, I'm not old," Sonic shrugged.

"Good...Skye has volunteered for a dangerous journey into space!" Bulma cheered, "I'm sure his wife will agree to it since Roll and Sonic are for sure gonna go. And an adult guide...no Goku you don't count...would most certainly be nice."

"I do," Aphrodite noted, flipping the food on the grill...and smacking certain hands that tried to grab them with her tail, "You're spending too much time in the lab again, Darling."

"...You can't prove I spent more than 12 hours in there…" Skye replied.

"My internal clocks says you spent 20 hours in there," Jules stated, "Mainly because you three were working together on building Attempt 69."

"Speaking of, how is…"

"I will not reveal what happens," Jules stated, glaring at the trio, "No data for you."

"Hahahaha...showed you nerds." Roshi laughed while drinking another glass of beer, he then tilted his head and dodged all the things the 'nerds' tossed at him, "Nice try! But no man has ever gotten this old bastard with tricks like that!"

"I bet you coming to Namek that Sonic can get your face soaked without you even noticing," Skye stated.

"No," Roshi replied, making him blink, "I refuse your bet. I heard what happened at the beach from Goku because he wanted to figure out how to do it."

"Foiled again by a monkey," Skye sighed, "At least this time, I didn't have to flee a jungle from a gorilla because I ate a banana from his horde."

"Pfft...one banana…" Roshi laughed, "I ate five...then beat the gorilla...in arm wrestling. Heh...I cheated."

"The odd part is...I believe him…" Bulma sighed.

"It's true. I was there...he lost me to the Gorilla in the first round," Goku added.

"Then me…" Krillin sighed.

"What's a horde?" Sonic asked.

"A big pile," Chuck stated.

"Oh, so that's why they were all in a neat pile in the jungle," Sonic noted as he looked over at Aphrodite grilling some bananas.

"Hmm...I wonder what happened to that old guy...he just vanished." Goku noted, eating a kebab.

"Maybe someone sat on him?" Krillin joked, while looking around.

"Or maybe he's got a hot date!" Roshi laughed, "I hear short is in these days!"

"Oh lord…" Sally rolled her eyes.

"You see what I have to deal with when it involves him?" Bulma sighed, "In fact...Sally, allow me to teach you how to deal with an old letcher," she offered as she stood up.

"That's my Bulma~ She can warm my heart~" Roshi sang out as he danced around in place, as Bulma walked over and slapped him so hard he was sent flying and sliding across the ground...stopping just in front of the grill...prone and motionless...but still alive judging by the occasional twitch of his legs.

"Nice arm," Sally complimented.

"I get enough exercise for it in a single day," Bulma noted, pumping her slapping arm while Goku started shaking for a moment upon hearing that.

Aphrodite shook her head in amusement before her ears twitched. She looked to see a set of small hands poking under her grill trying to snatch some of the finished kebabs. Giggling, she nudged them to the edge with her tail and let the small hands grab them and zip under the grill.

"There! That should be enough!" Trunks cheered in a hushed tone thinking they got them while being totally unnoticed.

"Mmm!" Goten smiled before they ran off to pick up Haseo and leave the patio together.

Once again, the trio of boys made their way to the abandoned factory Tapion was using as shelter. The man was once again flinching from a horrible headache, but he could still hear the footsteps. He grabbed his sword and moved to draw it only to stop when he realized it was just the kids again. Haseo jumped behind Goten, who jumped behind Trunks as they stopped in place.

"Uh...hi!" Trunks greeted as he left the plate of food they 'snuck' away on an old metal barrel besides the entrance, "This is for you! Help yourself!"

"Yeah...what he said…" Goten chuckled nervously as Haseo nodded in agreement.

"..." Tapion said nothing as he resheathed his sword before sitting back down.

"You can't save the world on an empty stomach, right?" Trunks chuckled as he seemed dejected at how hard it was to get something from the space hero they heard about, "Me and the guys will be right outside…" he began before blinking as the Bento box from before was pushed along the ground so it stopped next to them, they turned to Tapion who said nothing still but just nodded a thanks to them.

"...Heh-hee," Haseo giggled as he picked up the emptied bento and bowed before they left.

"Aw, you snuck him some food earlier?" Goten asked quietly.

"Well, he is the brains for the reason," Trunk nodded.

Tapion said nothing as he watched the boys leave while laughing. It made him feel happy...but still, the pain from his headache left him with his face in a somewhat intimidating expression. He just wished those boys would stop coming here...for their own safety.

Somewhere in the city, things continued as normal for nightlife, traffic, people complaining at each other, people getting home late from work. But...that all stopped when a sudden explosion rocked the city and its people. More and more appeared down the street as if something was carving a path through town.

People stopped as the explosions seemed to calm down...until a horrible thumping sound shook the city. Like...footsteps, step after step something giant walked down the road, until a pair of brown exoskeleton covered legs stomped into the middle of town. Windows shattered and people were knocked over as the giant legs kept walking through town, towering over most small buildings, and rivaling some of the tallest around. The beast's path of destruction already alerted the police...who decided to call in big guns as backup. The Military deployed with amazing speed...but it seemed like not even that was enough. The beast stomped on a tank, causing it to explode as its own munitions were set off.

"Okay...this...is new…" a human commander blinked as a Helicopter was knocked out of the air by a long whip like tail, "Uh...any chance that...came from your guys' world?" he turned to a Leopard Mobian standing next to him.

"No...this is something new…" the leopard answered with wide eyes.

"Oh...well...this is just...fantastic…" the human replied in a calm yet concerned tone, "So...retreat?"

"Aye."

"Men! ...Run away!" the commander ordered.

"Sir yes sir!" they shouted, following that order with gusto.

"What's going on?" Gohan asked, flying by in his Great Saiyaman outfit. His eyes widened as he witnessed the destruction that overtook the city.

"Well, seems we'll be out later than expected," Videl noted, "Think whatever caused this is from Mobius?"

"No idea," Gohan replied as he looked down to see a blue blur and a yellow blur running together towards the destruction, "But we can ask when we see Sonic."

"Okay...this...has to be huge…" Sonic stopped as he found a giant foot print, "This world had Dinosaurs before we got here...and Goku fish's sea kaiju...so...what are the chances this thing just escaped from the zoo?" he turned to a concerned Roll.

The two turned around as their friends landed next to them.

"Not from your world?" Sonic and Gohan asked at the same time, "No...ah dang it…"

"...Do you think it's what that Ossan was warning us about?" Roll asked.

"Oh great...not only is he sketchy...he was telling the truth about it coming to our world," Videl sighed, "Any chance any of us know where Tapion is?"

"The kids know…" Gohan cringed.

"Come on...it can't be...that...b-bad…" Sonic muttered as he looked up as the giant leg of the beast stomped out from behind the cover of a building, "It's...it's…" he muttered with a look of shock on his face as he kept staring up.

"Oh you have to be kidding me…" Videl asked in equal shock.

"I think the barbeque is coming back up," Roll admitted, her face a bit green in disgust.

"Wh….Where is the rest? It's...a severed body from the waist down…" Gohan gasped.

As they stared at the beast which seemed to have been cut at the stomach, as a dark cloud seemed to spread from the giant open wound made from something or another in its body. It...seemed to angle down as if it could somehow see...before its tail whipped out and tore through several buildings in an attempt to crush them. Gohan quickly grabbed Videl's hand and flew up as Sonic picked up Roll and ran off and up to a building a distance away that would allow them the same altitude as their friends.

"So...zombie Kaiju…" Sonic spoke, "Anyone else feel sick? Besides Roll?"

"I can feel my stomach turning…" Gohan spoke up as he and Videl floated closer.

"So we have a giant pair of legs and a tail…" Sonic noted.

"Two tails," Roll corrected, her tail pointing at where the tail emerged to show a second one beside it.

"...Oh, so it's a copycat involving Tails and Haseo, eh?" Sonic frowned.

"I can sense...some kind of energy from it," Gohan spoke, "But it's...foul...dark...horrible…" he then grunted and used his ki to form a barrier just as one of the tails tried to strike them, "And...it can sense us right back!"

"Really wish I had a Super Emerald right about now or the Chaos Emeralds," Sonic muttered.

"I don't like this either…" Gohan spoke as he began powering it up, "Let me handle it…" he grunted as his bandana tore apart as his hair rose back up to its full spiky-ness, with another grunt his cowlick flipped over as a burning white aura formed around him, indicating he entered his strongest form, Potential Unleashed. He flew off at amazing speed and slammed a punch into the lower stomach of the beast...denting its shell-like armor in as it took a step back, "That barely did anything…" he awed as the dent popped out and back to normal, "Oh...so it regenerates too…" he frowned before dodging its tails that began swinging at him and only him.

Gohan flew in for another attack...only for the beast to suddenly become..transparent and let him pass through with no harm to either of them. Gohan turned around and grunted as its tails began swinging, attempting to stab him. Gohan was able to avoid each strike before he spun around in the air and tossed a Ki blast that struck the beast, making it pause for a moment and then fall over, crushing a building in the process.

"Ah?" Gohan blinked.

"He hit it!" Videl cheered.

"Gohan can only hit it when it attacks!" Sonic realized.

"Oh, I hate those kinds of enemies," Roll cringed, "You have to time it just right to not only evade or parry their attack, but also to get a hit in."

"When you say it like that...it's like a video game," Videl noted, "But since it turned into a ghost just now...I guess it can't defend and attack at the same time 'cause of that power."

Gohan flew down as the beast stood back up. The young Half-Saiyan flew low and let the beast try and stomp him. He waited 'till he made the creature spread its legs too far apart with its last attempt to stomp him. He grunted and flew up before punching at the beast's knee, making its leg buckle and cause it to fall once more. Gohan dropped down and kicked the back of its opposite foot making the beast flip over mid fall and crash down on its front so it would take even longer to get back up. At least...he hoped 'till the beast used its tails to push itself back to its feet, the leg he attacked at the knee snapping back into place as it did.

Gohan landed on a highway overpass as he grunted and began pooling his Ki into his hands. He roared and unleashed a powerful blast with both hands. The golden beam struck the monster and sent it flying into a building. Gohan flew up as he roared and began unleashing a barrage of ki blasts from his hands, each blast causing another explosion in an attempt to destroy the creature in such a way it could not heal.

Gohan landed with the others on the street below as a thick wall of smoke obscured the beast from view. Gohan's face was still it's serious expression from when he was in his combat mentality. He could feel it...the beast was still alive even after all those powerful attacks that would have destroyed any other form of organic life and left no trace. No...it was there...and it was already putting itself back together from within the smoke.

"So...any chance...that did it?" Videl asked.

"No," Gohan replied, "This fight isn't over."

"Seriously?" Videl groaned as Roll and Sonic skidded to a halt beside them.

"Yeesh, when you go out, you really go out, Gohan," Sonic noted with wide eyes.

"...Music?" Roll pondered, her ears twitching.

"You're right…" Sonic muttered next to pick it up.

"Hey...it's...that same instrument…" Videl realized as the song began to play louder as the sounds of destruction began to settle down.

The smoke began to clear once more as they saw...the monster had vanished with the smoke and dust. Gohan looked around before stopping on a figure there as the song played, the song and the shape of the figure made him pause as he recalled someone he met...years ago, for a moment that is. But once it cleared further...it revealed itself to be Tapion as he was playing the song on his Ocarina. He looked to them for a moment as he continued his song.

"Wait...where did the monster go?" Videl asked.

"No way...all of that...vanished?!" Sonic gawked.

"Tapion…" Gohan called out as he took a step forward, "Did...did he do it?"

"Sugoi," Roll awed.

They looked at Tapion as soon as he stopped playing. The warrior looked at them...giving them a look...with tired eyes filled with sadness. He made his way to leave, vanishing in the smoke and dust clouds.

"Tapion, wait!" Gohan called out, noticing the sadness in his eyes.

"Gohan, look!" Videl stopped him as she pointed up for the others to see yet another new figure, this one short clad in dark robes and a hood, he turned to face them revealing his mouth hidden by a mask, with red skin and evil glowing red eyes.

"I got him!" Sonic shouted running up the building...only to find the mystery figure had already vanished, "What?" he looked around having no clue how that little man got away from him, "It's official...there are only two Ninjas in this world that I like…"

"Well...at least we know who the bad guys are…" Gohan sighed as Sonic returned.

"You said it," Sonic agreed, "Roll, you're gonna be giving Knuckles the good news sooner than expected, too."

"Eh?" Roll tilted her head.

"Gonna need Knux to let me hop on the Master Emerald when it shows up again," Sonic noted.

"That thing took hits from me at my strongest...if that thing completes itself...it probably will take our biggest guns." Gohan added, "I'll tell my Dad and Vegeta about it."

"And I'll go warn the others to help do evac when it shows up again," Sonic added.

Tapion returned to his little shelter as he sat down looking at his Ocarina, revealing the stone demon face carved on the other side. Memories flooded his mind as he stared at that face which was meant to emulate a horror from his home world.

He was brought out of his reminiscing by the sound of three young and goofy kids as something metallic fell to the ground. Tapion turned to see Trunks running after a can of soda as the boys carried more supplies for him like a towel, blanket, and some drinks. Tapion sighed as he got up and tied his Ocarina around his hip with a string.

"Ehehehe…" the trio chuckled, noticing him.

"You should all go home," Tapion said in a cold tone, "You shouldn't worry your mothers by coming after me."

"He talked…" Goten awed.

"Uh...We brought you some stuff to drink!" Trunks spoke up as they put the supplies next to the emptied plate they brought him earlier.

"You need to stay away from me. It's not safe." Tapion warned them again.

"W-We just wanted to bring you some t-thing you might need for tonight," Haseo noted, "It...It's supposed to r-rain tonight."

"At least he's talking to us…" Trunks muttered, "He doesn't have to be all moody about it though…"

"Get out!" Tapion shouted, making all three boys panic and run away.

Tapion sighed once they were gone. If it had just been one boy, it would've been easier on his mind for rationalization. Just a kid acting out, wanting to see something they're told not to. But three? And each one bringing something to try to help him? It just felt easier to push them away, to keep them safe from...it. From...him.

He still welcomed their gifts and supplies. The food was amazing...but the care that went into it...It just hurt, feeling the warmth and love of home. A home he lost god knows how long ago. But he also couldn't leave it, all that time trapped in a music box, food...oh how he missed food. But now his body was in need of something else. It had been hours and hours ago now since he was freed, and his body...it wanted to sleep. But he couldn't, he had to stay awake, to fight it, keep it contained, keep it asleep. No...this was his burden he had to be strong.

But...it was so dark...and quiet. Even amongst this rubble, the silence of the air, the dim light from the moon as it pierced through a break in the clouds. Even if this was a cold empty room of decaying rubble and stone walls. It was so silent, so peaceful, it almost took him out of his worries for a moment, reminded him of his home. How the nights were just like this even before the rain would come. Inside his home, with his family, this was just the kind of night he loves, waiting for the rain to come...let the rhythm of nature itself lull him to sleep. Even now...he could feel it, that pull in the back of his head, that sensation of his body demanding he close his eyes and sleep, to rest and let the world go, let go of all problems just for a moment and rest.

Tapion leaned back...his Ocarina falling off his hip and clanging across the rubble that made his little seat, and sliding across the room. His eyes half lidded as he bobbed his head up and down. Finally...he fell and his eyes closed. The Exhaustion won, his body got what it wanted, sleep. But...this was exactly what Tapion feared. The same steam that he once was summoned from began rising up from his body, it floated up forming into a circle, the circle flashed and opened.

An endless void could be seen within the portal. Something within...breathed. It's breath so strong it was like a cyclone sucking up debris slowly and growing more ragged, rage filling its very breath, a rage unlike any a normal living creature could express. The sound of thunder filled the world, this act of nature...was what awoke Tapion to the terror that had begun to enter the world.

"No…" Tapion grunted, getting up to see the portal. He tensed, feeling a horrible presence, as a giant arm shot out of the portal intent to crush him. But the alien warrior was faster and avoided the fist as it crushed the rubble and a pillar of the building.

Tapion grunted as the arm took up the entire portal, before more claws poked out from the edge...and began forcing the portal open wider. They ripped open the portal for their entire upper torso to be visible. Standing on the other end...was what had to be the top half of the monster from before, the same insect-like shell...muscles poking through several gaps in the armor. The beast's head was white...like a skull with no skin or flesh yet littered in pulsating vein marks. Its eyes were empty...black...soulless. It let out a horrible roar as it began pulling itself out of the portal. It pulled out its other arm before looking and growling at its jailer.

Tapion gasped as he reached for his ocarina and failed to feel it. He looked around and found it all the way across the room. The beast let itself fall flat on its stomach as it groaned, feeling weak from being incomplete. It slowly pushed its arm across the ground to grab Tapion, only to miss as he jumped aside again. Igniting his ki, Tapion literally flew across the room and grabbed his sacred instrument, he flipped over and slowed down as he touched the wall of the room. The beast turned its head and followed his path and found Tapion. It moved around and used its arms to push itself forward. It growled and opened its jaw, baring its fangs and intent on eating Tapion if need be to kill him. Its fangs came so close to its target before stopping as the music filled the air once more.

The beast growled as it reeled back as the veins on its head began pulsing more and more. It growled in pain and anger as it tried still to kill its magical jailer. The claws came so close...but the pain...it kept the beast from finishing the deed. As the music grew stronger, the beast's growls grew weaker and weaker. It...just...couldn't move anymore. All its energy and power, all it had was meaningless anger with no power to act upon it. Tapion walked forward as the beast tried to get away, desperately trying to escape this music that hurt it so and drained it of its power.

Tapion began to glow as sacred magic filled his body. The glow covered the beast as it began to fall over. Suddenly...as if a shattered mirror...its very visage cracked and split into shards. They were suddenly absorbed into Tapion's very own body as specs of light. Once the beast was gone, no longer in this world and no longer able to hurt the innocent, Tapion stopped and took a ragged breath. Once again...his prisoner was back in his cell. It was already crying and thrashing about for freedom. Once more...his struggle began.

"Ah! What happened!?" Trunks gawked on seeing the destruction.

"Did the half monster Nii-san talked about come here, too?" Goten pondered.

"I hope Tapion-san is alright," Haseo noted, carrying a basket filled with breakfast pastries, "Even a towel has its limits…"

"A towel?" Trunks raised a brow.

"Never underestimate a towel," Haseo replied.

They walked around until they saw Tapion sitting on a new seat of rubble. He looked to them with a sigh as he realized he might not be rid of them anytime soon. So...he accepted they were around. Besides, maybe food will help him stay awake. Maybe this planet has something akin to the potion on his world that helped elders stay awake.

"Those boys…" Bulma sighed as she was helping wash dishes that accumulated from the other night, and several from this morning that were there when she awoke.

Rather than all go home, after Gohan told them of the monster, the Son family men decided to stay in the city to help out should anything happen. With Chi-Chi's permission, of course. Krillin had gone home to his family and sent word to his boss and others of this creature. Lord knows what happened to Roshi. Sally, of course, helped with preparing for its next appearance by telling her brother. But that didn't calm folks down when a literal Kaiju alert made many abandon the business district of the city and some of the residential districts.

"Well, it shows that we mothers have been doing a great job in raising them right if their first instinct is to help another in need be they know they need aid or not," Aphrodite noted, putting them away when Videl, who was drying them, handed them to her.

"True," Bulma smiled, "I know Trunks has amazing friends, but I think he's jealous of Goten and Haseo for having older siblings. He must see this guy like...a surrogate brother."

"Being an only child can be hard," Videl spoke up, "I know from experience."

"I may have to ask Tapion to stay," Bulma noted.

"Only issue is how to convince him it's a good idea," Aphrodite noted, "He seemed to have a strong desire to stay away from people."

"I'm sure he has his reasons," Bulma sighed, "But I guess after my best friend...and my husband...I just have this odd desire to help good aliens."

"It's a new experience for us as well," Aphrodite nodded, "The only aliens Mobians knew of were the Xorda since they made themselves aware to everyone on Mobius...and they wanted to destroy the planet due to actions eon ago."

"Starting to think I'm better off having the only alien I meet be my boyfriend's dad..." Videl cringed before the lights shut off.

"AGAIN!?" Vegeta's voice snapped.

"We had to try one last time!" Dr. Briefs shouted.

"I WILL MURDER YOU! AND YOU WILL DIE SCREAMING!"

"We even put up a sign this time on the plug! How did you not read it!?" Skye's voice asked.

"SHUT IT!"

"RUN AWAY!" Chuck's voice panicked before explosions began to go off.

"...Okay, we finish the dishes, turn the power back on, and then drag my dad, your husband, and Chuck off to Tails to work on that new spaceship?"

"After a good whack with the frying pan for good measure," Aphrodite calmly replied with a smile and a cast iron frying pan with a heart printed on it in her hand.

"Oh I hope you don't turn into that, Gohan-kun…" Videl sighed as three scientist ran past the kitchen.

"GET BACK HERE!" Vegeta in Super Saiyan form roared, flying after them.

"Goku...can you...uh...stop that idiot?" Bulma called out.

"Which one?" Goku asked back in confusion.

"Vegetable," Aphrodite replied with an amused giggle.

"IT'S NOT VEGETABLE!" Vegeta snapped.

"Oh sure, that's easy!" Goku smiled as he teleported away. They then heard struggling before another teleportation sound. After a long wait, Goku popped back into reality, "I left him with Piccolo." he smiled happily.

"Wait...did Goku just call me an idiot?" the three crazy scientists asked, peeking into the kitchen.

"Calls 'em as I sees 'em!" Goku smiled in a cheeky tone.

"..." the trio shared looks before Aphrodite cleared her throat.

"Bulma-chan, do you need a pan?" Aphrodite asked, pulling out a second frying pan while she and Bulma were smiling sweetly.

"Why yes...thank you, Aphrodite…"

"Run?" Dr. Briefs asked,

"There's no escape," Skye sighed, ears drooping as he cringed, "Just unanswered pleas for mercy and the few moments of darkness you're forced to embrace as an old friend."

"Oh b…" Chuck began.

*WHAM!*

Night once again, and the boys returned with more things. On their lunch trip, they brought Tapion a lantern to bring some light to his little shelter. Now they return as he turned it on, the alien just ignored them as he played his Ocarina, to calm the beast so it wouldn't escape while these kids were here.

"Another cat!" Trunks shouted as it ran past them with some of Tapion's left overs, "Stupid cat! That wasn't for you!"

"It needs it more…" Tapion spoke up before he went back to playing.

"...That's an ocarina, hai?" Haseo asked, earning his attention slightly, "A friend of my Onee-chan has one too...she liked to play it on nights with a full moon and the stars are out."

"..." Tapion turned to face the boys.

"I know how to play a few instruments." Trunks spoke up, "My mom made me learn…"

"I'm just the dumb one!" Goten proudly laughed.

Tapion's expression softened, finding it oh so hard to keep up his angry demeanor around these kids. He then tensed as he felt a new presence. A figure landed behind him, short and clad in dark robes with a hood over their head and a scarf used as a mask around their face. The boys gasped as the figure ran forward and knocked the Ocarina out of Tapion's hand. The alien warrior grabbed his sword and swung it, making the figure jump away. Tapion stood before the boys defensively as the short intruder flipped away and landed near the lantern. Trunks ran off and grabbed the Ocarina in all the confusion as the figure stood up straight.

"Give me that flute!" the man shouted as he rushed Trunks and tried to take the Ocarina from him, only for the young boy to be far faster and avoid all of his swipes.

"Trunks!" Goten called out in concern as Trunks flew away from the man's reach.

In all the confusion ,the lantern fell over and ignited a ring of fire around the room. Tapion pushed Goten and Haseo behind him and towards the exit as he ran forward towards Trunks.

"Trunks here!" Tapion called out as Trunks landed on a large mound of rubble.

"Right!" Trunks nodded.

"Wait!" the figure shouted as he removed his hood and mask to reveal the old man who sought their help to free Tapion, "Tapion is no hero! It is he who destroyed the city!"

"Don't listen to him, Trunks," Tapion spoke in a calm tone despite the accusations being made against him.

"Like I'd believe him!" Trunks replied, "Haseo's got a cool sensing power and I trust his tails a lot more than that old guy!"

"What?" he blinked, looking at Haseo before Tapion got in the path of his glare.

"You want me…" Tapion replied, "These kids have nothing to do with us, so if you want it...then you'll have to take it from me." he aimed his sword at the old man. Trunks jumped down and landed next to his friends as they stood behind Tapion.

"Well...I guess I can drop the act…" he smirked, "You can try all you want, Hero of Konats...but Hirudegarn shall be mine!" at that, he jumped up into the rafters above and vanished into the shadows.

"That...was creepy…" Goten muttered as Haseo was clinging to him out of newly formed habit.

*poof*

"Aw come on, Haseo…" Goten sighed.

"S-s-scary…" Haseo mumbled, his fur puffed up.

"Tapion…" Trunks spoke, holding the Ocarina up to him.

"Thank you, Trunks." Tapion spoke sheathing his sword and taking back his mystic instrument, "..." he looked at the boys and then back at what was now his burning shelter, "...got any more food?" he asked the boys, "I'm hungry...and could use some company." he smiled.

The boys smiled happily at that.

"Mom!" Trunks called out as Bulma and the others turned to the entrance from the hallway into the living room, "Uh...we got company for dinner!" he chuckled along with Goten and Haseo; after a second, Tapion walked into view.

"Ah, konbanwa," Aphrodite greeted.

"Leave it to kids to bring a good guy home," Bulma noted, "Welcome. We just got everything finished to serve."

"Thank you." Tapion bowed his head as he removed his sword and looked around before hanging it on a coat rack, "I hope I'm not much of a bother. These ones…" he sighed and put his hands on the kids heads, "Wouldn't leave me be. So...I just gave in and accepted their kindness."

"Hmm hmm," Haseo smiled a bit.

"Well, we always have plenty of food around here," Bulma smiled, "Trust us, you're not the only alien we house here. I just hope you don't have the same appetite as the other two."

"Hmm?" Goku blinked, getting up from the sofa upon hearing that, "My ears are burning…"

"They're supposed to," Bulma deadpanned.

"Hmm…" Goku pouted at that.

Lien-Da's metal dreadlock rattled as she was trying to relax in a bubble bath. She tapped it and a mic popped out of it.

"What is it?" the echidna demanded.

=It's Dave, ma'am. An update on what I overheard at my job here involving what they summoned the dragon for=

"And you're calling me and not Eggman because…"

=The dragon could only grant two wishes this time and the first was to find the Echidnas=

"?!" Lien-Da nearly shot up at that, "Where?"

=A planet called 'Namek.' Only reason I was able to get confirmation was thanks to Goku eating here earlier and, me being a Mobian, am 'naturally curious' about that dragon=

"Details…" she growled.

=Tails is building a spaceship big enough and fast enough to get there in under a few days and also able to carry them all back here if they want to return. It will be ready in a week=

"What even is this Namek?" she asked.

=From what I gather it is the home planet of that other alien fellow, Piccolo. Their race are apparently all male...and they reproduce by...and I wish I made this up….spitting eggs out of their mouths. Also they may or may not be part plant and slug...=

"I hate aliens…" she groaned, "But...they are alive?"

=Goku says Shenron is never wrong, and to argue with the dragon will get you zapped. If I understood it right, Namek is a peaceful planet full of nature but Namekians are mystics by nature so not a technological society=

"And at least half the Echidna race are cyborgs," Lien-Da sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose, "Right. Less than a week to hope Eggman's new procedure is ready, get one of the Warp Rings the Guardian or the Chaotix have, and get on that ship."

=Won't that Goku guy sense you when you jump on?=

"No. For some reason, our cybernetics muddle his ki sensing," Lien-Da replied.

=And why can't you use the Warp Ring to get there in the first place?=

"Because you need to visualize where you're going when you use them."

=Huh...That's how Goku explained his teleportation...but then added he could cheat it by locking onto the Ki of others…=

"That man makes no sense...best to not question it…" Lien-da sighed, "Anything else?"

=...Does a pair of disembodied Kaiju legs rampaging across the town nearby count?=

"What?"

=Yeah. A pair of giant legs with two tails rampaged through the nearby town last night= Dave explained =Really freaky=

"...What was the other wish?"

=From what I could get, it was to open a magic music box=

"That's it?"

=Sealed inside was an alien warrior whom if I understand it...killed a space demon god monster…but uh...now it's back=

"Oh wonderful...the world is ending...again…" she sighed.

=Should...should we inform E-=

"No. Moment he hears about this 'space demon god monster', he'll drop everything and try to control it."

=You are not wrong…= he said slowly.

"I need him to keep working on his current project. It will benefit us all in the long run. If he's distracted, he'll either drop it or mess it up. He's not been this focused since he made Metal Sonic. Besides, if I know one thing...it's that Sonic and his gang of idiots will save our asses eventually," Lien-Da spoke, "Continue observations and be ready to evac when it appears."

"My life just keeps getting weirder and weirder…" Lien-Da sighed as her mic went back into her dreadlock as she reclined in the bubble bath, "Still...I know where they are. Soon, we'll be united under one banner as we were long ago."

"GAH! METAL! KILL IT!" Eggman screamed from down the hall, "I knew I shouldn't have done a beta test on a roach!"

"...Just ignore it and focus on the bubbles, Lien-Da…" the echidna muttered, sinking into the tub.

"Not surprised they're all tuckered out," Aphrodite giggled as the kiddie trio were sound asleep, leaning against each other on the couch.

"Earlier, Trunks spoke that he trusted Haseo's tails," Tapion noted.

"Ah, it's something rare in the Sakurai, only shown when they're born with either a single tail split between black and white or with two tails that are either pure black or pure white," Aphrodite explained, "They let a Sakurai 'see' the heart of another. The black tail senses Evil while the white senses Good. A single tail will stand straight and twitch to either the white half or the black half while a twin-tailed will have one tail twitch. Haseo-chan's white tail must have twitched when he first saw you, Tapion-san."

"...Meaning his black tail twitched around him," Tapion noted, frowning at the mental image of the old man, "If only I had realized what that old man was when I first awoke…"

"What was he?" Aphrodite asked, confused.

"One of the monsters who almost destroyed my home. Planet Konats…" Tapion explained.

"He spoke of it in order to convince us to let you out with Shenron's power," Bulma recalled before frowning, "You were sealed in that box for a reason and a way to keep that old man from getting to what you had to be sealed away for."

"Forget everything Hoi told you," Tapion spoke, "I'm not a great hero, and having me around is dangerous."

"Dangerous?" Bulma asked in concern with the way he spoke of himself, "You don't seem dangerous." Tapion just lowered his head as if in shame of something he could not speak of.

"...Maybe it's not Tapion that's dangerous, but what he protects us from," Aphrodite noted.

"Huh? ...Wait a second…" Videl noted with widening eyes, "That weird looking monster from last night. It only appeared after you came out of the box."

"You are literally half right...That was a half of Hirudegarn...the Phantom Majin…"

"Phantom?" Bulma asked.

"To understand my story...I must begin with his as well," Tapion took a seat, "My home world...was a wonderful and peaceful planet." he smiled sadly, "We had no war, we were able to live such life because of the statue of the Majin that existed on our home world. Once a place of worship, it was used to cleanse the Darkness from the hearts of our people. We fed the statue our evil...and we lived in peace. Then...Hoi and his race, the Kashvar, appeared. A race of mystics who believed themselves to be the superior species of the universe. For eons they traveled the universe using their dark magic to hunt down and exterminate all life forms different from their own. When they came to Konats...they used their magic to revive the evil long since thought defeated and sealed within the statue. And so was born the Phantom Majin...Hirudegarn," he paused, "A Malevolent beast...which only thinks of killing anything in its path. What's worse is when it kills its victims...it devours their souls...imprisoning them for eternity within its evil."

"?!" everyone tensed at that.

"They...murdered half our population…" Tapion spoke, "The monster was impossible to defeat. It was like fighting an illusion. Gone one moment...unable to be hurt, and it returns to existence to fight back."

"Like with Gohan…" Videl realized.

"How did you stop such a thing?" Bulma asked in concern.

"It wasn't 'till the Great Wizard of my world...whom if I understand it...would be called Kami by your planet's culture..." he reached over for his sword, "Discovered this sword and the two Ocarina that were originally used to defeat the demon."

"Two?" Aphrodite pondered, glancing at him and only seeing the one Ocarina.

"While our planet's guardian used the sword...I and my little brother Minotia...were gifted the Ocarina," he explained, putting down the sword and picking up the Ocarina, "The intent was we'd use them to distract Hirudegarn so the Wizard could strike it down. But then…" he chuckled, "As we played, we realized they were enchanted with powerful sacred magic. As we played, we became immune to the Majin's attacks. Try as it might...nothing could harm us. In its rage, the Wizard found the opening. Realizing its weakness, as it suffers extreme emotions, its reaction time dulls and it can't swap between Attack and Defense as fast." he sighed, "With one mighty swing, the Wizard cleaved the Majin in two...but it would not die."

"Considering half its body was able to move around on its own, I'm not surprised," Videl cringed.

"Then...what happened?"

"Since the Majin could not be killed even with the sword...the Wizard made a choice. Half of the beast would be sealed within me...and Minotia...The upper half was sealed in me, and the lower in my brother," Tapion spoke, "The unkillable Phantom Majin was jailed within two young men. And so, my destiny was made. For the rest of time...I would be one half of the living jail for the Phantom Majin."

"You and your brother…" Videl spoke before Aphrodite hugged Tapion.

"Aphrodite?" Bulma asked.

"Oh you poor dear," Aphrodite softly spoke, "No one should have that happen…"

"Huh?" Videl pondered.

"Think about it," Aphrodite spoke, looking at the confused Bulma and Videl, "Tapion has the upper half, but the lower half is free."

"...Minotia…" Tapion spoke as he gripped his fists, "Tsk...When...When we were sealed in the music box...he was so brave...he smiled...in hope we would meet again…" he sniffled, "We proudly agreed to it...happy to serve...to protect so many lives. I vowed...no matter how long it took...I'd see him...see his smile again…Now...I...I am alone...with it..." tears fell to his lap as he clenched his eyes shut, "I don't regret my choice...but still...I can never forgive Hoi…"

"Absolutely unforgivable," Aphrodite agreed, her eyes narrowed, "That Hoi-teme will not get away with this."

"So long as I stay awake, he can't free the upper half," Tapion spoke, "I never thought I'd say it, but I miss that music box."

"Wait...You haven't slept since it was destroyed?" Bulma asked as Aphrodite let him go.

"No...If I sleep, then my hold on Hirudegarn loosens…" Tapion sighed, "I can feel him every moment...clawing and trying to escape. It's why I often glared at you and the kids before...It's like a never ending migrain."

"...Well, in that case, I can build a new one. Heck, I can make it an entire room so you can stretch your legs," Bulma stated.

"But…"

"We took extra care to collect every single piece of that music box. It's all in Bulma-chan's room," Aphrodite informed.

"Could you really recreate my world's work?" Tapion asked, "I can only describe it as magic."

"Magic is just science we can't explain...yet." Bulma argued.

"That...are all women on this world this amazing?" Tapion asked.

"Well, we girls have to be the smart and sensible ones here since most of the men don't really think before acting," Aphrodite noted with a wink.

"I...I don't even begin to know how to thank you…" Tapion smiled.

"Hang out with Trunks and the kids...and I'll call it even," Bulma smiled.

"Deal." Tapion nodded simply.

Tapion laughed as he lifted his arms up, swinging Trunks and Haseo around. It was simple enjoyment, but...enough to make the young alien man, for the time being, forget of the pain in his heart. He had to admit, he could feel the amazing power that Goten and Trunks held. From what he understood, their Fathers were like him: aliens from beyond this planet. His kind hadn't heard of Saiyans in his time, but they seemed like a powerful race. Not only them, but the Mobians, whom he learned were a sort of co-existing race next to the humans, had many powerful characters. He could feel this...sort of magic from them, as if all of them had some tiny little link to a greater power. He believed maybe this world could have stood a better chance against Hirudegarn. But...he never wanted to test this theory.

"Hey~!" Tapion looked up at the house to see Bulma looking at them, "I'm finished!"

At that, Tapion followed Bulma to her lab where a giant rectangular device was set up and greatly resembled the Music Box from the outside. A door opened to show inside was like a small little room, like that of a small dorm room. It had a bed for Tapion to sleep in and since it clearly was meant to fulfill just the purpose of being a room for sleep...It was not filled with much else.

"It wasn't easy...and I had to trick Goku and Sonic into doing a lot of chores to finish it, but Nicole and I were able to remake the material your Music box was made of. We learned that it helps achieve Rem Sleep while all your cognitive functions are kept so you can fight your...prisoner in your mind," Bulma explained, "It's actually really amazing. I'm thinking of making a private lab out of the same material."

"Nicole?" Tapion repeated.

=I'm Nicole= Nicole spoke as a screen displayed the Holo-Lynx.

"?!" Haseo tensed as his cheeks turned pink on seeing her.

"Oh no…" Goten sighed as Trunks tilted his head, "I got him…" he tossed his friend over his shoulder and walked away, "It's okay...This is normal. Not sure if it's healthy but apparently normal."

"I still don't get that guy…" Trunks muttered.

"What manner of magic is this?" Tapion asked, moving his hand in front of the screen Nicole was on.

"Tapion's world didn't have much tech," Trunks explained to Nicole.

=Ah. I believe you could consider me as a helpful spirit able to interact with the world in a different way to normal spirits= Nicole replied.

"Your planet is indeed filled with wonder…" Tapion awed.

=Indeed it is. Now in regards to your room= she jumped to another screen, =We wouldn't call this a final version, but as making the material does take some time, this shall suffice for sleep until such a time we may build something more accommodating=

"If our math is right, this will be perfect for letting you sleep finally," Bulma added, "We still decided to make it big, so if you're ever sleepy you can just pop in here and have no worries. And still move around."

"This...this is perfect." Tapion smiled, "Thank you."

Chanting of an alien language could be heard on the silent streets of the once busy city streets. The chanting continued as the wind picked up...blowing discarded articles of clothing across the street. The eerie silence was finally broken by something else as a massive explosion rocked the street. People ran in terror as the monster had returned. But it wasn't just attacking...no this time it was doing something far worse.

It stomped forward as its tails swung forward, the tips opened up into three sections as these orange jellyfish-like tentacles began crawling out. They shot out far...able to detect the presence of life and capture it. The moment the tentacles touched organic skin...they began burrowing in. It mattered not what it caught, be they man, animal, or Mobian. Within moments, all that remained were the articles of clothing and whatever accessories they may or may not have had.

Hoi laughed as he stopped chanting as the lower half of Hirudegarn was in the middle of its meal. It seemed to be in the process of resting and digesting as its tails pulsed. The legs tensed as new types of energy and souls were fed to its endless hunger.

"Yes, Hirudegarn..these lesser beings should prove as a sample of the endless flesh you'll consume once whole again," Hoi grinned, "Together...we shall bring this entire universe to its knees!"

What Hoi did not fully see was the green glow surrounding Hirudegarn. It was processing the souls and ki of those it ate. But the new meal...the Mobians...let the beast taste something new. An energy...One would not let it feel it, but the untold maybe even countless lives it devoured let it discover it...a new energy to consume with this new species.

As the night began to fade, the monster could feel itself. Hirudegarn, even incomplete, could feel its other half. The host was asleep...but it could not break free. That is...until it could feel this new energy it had eaten. Tapion flinched in his sleep as if having a horrible nightmare. He could feel it...the pull. The two halves were close and wanted to be reunited. And now an even greater power was pulling them together...to fulfill the monster's dark wish.

"Aah…" Tapion grunted as he awoke, "AAAHH!-!" he roared.

The Capsule Corp complex suddenly shook violently. Everyone was awoken from their sleep just as the sun had begun to rise on the day. They knew what it had to be as they all ran to the lab...and found a giant gaping hole in the wall and a large track carved into the ground heading towards the city.

"Oh no…" Bulma gasped as she ran over to a computer that hadn't been crushed in the commotion, "Nicole, did the security camera catch anything?" she asked, typing away as fast as she could, to see what happened, how it happened...and what became of their friend.

=I'm checking right now...but…= Nicole paused as a window opened up near her, showing a chart with a large red line going high up =I'm detecting a huge trace of Chaos Energy forming nearby, but it seems...tainted somehow=

"Tainted?" Goku asked, "What does that mean? Don't Mobians have this Chaos Energy in them?"

=Yes. The only times I've recorded when a Chaos Energy has been corrupted were encounters with Finitevus, when Chaos was Perfect Chaos, and...when Knuckles was Enerjak=

"Finitevus?" Bulma repeated.

=A dangerous albino Echidna= Nicole stated =He is the one who invented and can make Warp Rings=

"Great…" Shadow scowled, "It seems we'll need that Chaos Emerald Tracker sooner than expected."

"True. Just a few more tweaks and are you eating the coffee beans without making them into coffee?" Bulma deadpanned at the black and red hedgehog.

"Grinding them weakens their strength," Shadow snorted before eating another handful.

"We're just gonna ignore that, right?" Sonic asked.

"Yep," Goku replied, "...Wait...if you want that scanner thing…" his eyes widened in glee, "I get to finally see a Mobian go Super?"

"Not the point, Goku!" Bulma snapped, making him fall over from the glare she shot him, "Find Tapion first you big goof!"

"Ah! Right, right!" Goku agreed, about to teleport via Instant Transmission before footsteps made them look at the hole to see Tapion stumble in.

"Ah! Tapion!" Trunks gasped as Gohan caught the collapsing alien.

"Did the monster get out?" Bulma asked.

"No...I was able to force it back into my body…" Tapion grunted, "But...it was harder...and we have more problems. The lower half is free and attacking the city...it's feeding…"

"Feeding?" Goku asked in concern, "Wh-what do you mean?"

"It's...eating your people…" Tapion grunted, holding his head, "It's...devouring them...for power...and the closer the two halves get, the stronger both become as the accumulated energy is shared." he grunted as his headache was getting worse and worse, "I...I don't know how much longer I can fight it!" he grunted, falling over again.

"Goku, do you think you can take him to the Lookout?" Bulma asked.

"NO!" Tapion cried out, "It's...it's too late!" he cringed as his headache seemed to be manifesting around him via his ki, "It's...you have to kill it…"

"Kill it?" Sonic asked.

"Strike me down! Kill us now!" Tapion shouted making everyone stare at him with looks of horror, "Please...if you don't...he'll escape! You have to do it now...kill me...and the beast will die with me!"

"But...Tapion…" Trunks whispered.

"Please! Kill me!"

"Don't touch him!" the group tensed as they saw Hoi standing outside...while aiming his claws at a currently struggling and scared Haseo's neck, "Not unless you want this brat's blood spilt!"

"Haseo-chan!" Roll gasped.

"You vile…" Aphrodite snarled before Hoi moved his claws closer to the fox's neck, making her tense.

"Hoi!" Tapion shouted, "It's me you want! Let the boy go!" he grunted, falling over once more, "Please…" he reached out with his hand.

"I'll let him go as soon as you release what is mine! Release Hirudegarn on this poor world!" Hoi smirked.

"..." Tapion flinched, "Never!" he swung his hand as a blur and grabbed his word, unsheathed and swung down all in one flash of movement, Hoi blinked before looking down to see his hand now cut off and flying into the air, "Now!" he shouted as Sonic tackled Hoi and grabbed Haseo.

"Gah! You insolent little lower life form!" Hoi cried, holding his now bleeding stump of a wrist, "I will kill you!" he shouted as a portal opened in the sky above them.

Hirudegarn's leg shot through and stomped on the roof, intent to crush anyone it could for Hoi. Everyone flinched and looked up to see Goku and Gohan holding back the beast's foot. They grunted, pushing it up while floating to give everyone room to escape. Tapion reached for his Ocarina when it was shot out of his hands by a burst of red magic from Hoi's remaining hand.

"The Ocarina!" Trunks gasped as he rushed to it as rubble fell down at where it had fallen.

"Trunks!" Tapion gasped as the rubble fell before blinking and flinching when Roll was before him with Trunks and the Ocarina in her arms.

"Hurry and play!" Trunks spoke, holding it to Tapion.

Tapion nodded as he took back the Ocarina, about to play it before he tensed. The sharp excruciating pain was coming back in spades as he began to cry out in pure pain. It was too late...the two halves were far too close.

Tapion's cries of pain filled the air as the steam from before lifted off his body and into the air where it seemed to vanish. Tapion let out a final breath as he collapsed to the ground. Everyone froze in place as they felt it. A horrible...wicked bloodlust was filling the air combined with a dark Ki. The sky began to darken as the clouds were summoned to this exact location by the immense energy gathering in the air above them, the clouds gathered and clashed forming into a horrible storm as lightning began to fall from the heavens above. All over, the tails of the Mobians began to stick straight up as they felt the bloodlust ever increasing.

The portal that summoned the leg suddenly began growing. The leg was pulled back as the lightning was sucked in. After a moment of calm...two hands grabbed the portal and began forcing it open. Hirudegarn growled as he pulled himself out. After a moment of effort, his legs touched the ground...his body complete as his tails slammed the ground. The veins on its skull-like head pulsed as it looked out at the world and let out a horrible bellowing roar that seemed to shake the ground itself. After a moment...red pupils formed in its eyes as it looked down at those gathered in the decimated Capsule Corp building.

"Yes…" Hoi grinned in an insanity filled, gleeful tone as he hopped out of the building, floating now in the air, "Hirudegarn, I am Hoi, the last of the Kashvar! I have summoned you to do my bidding! Destroy the lesser beings of this world! Reduce it all until there is nothing but ashes left!"

"Move!" Goku ordered as the Phantom Majin punched the building, making more of it cave in.

"Well...at least it has a face now…" Sonic spoke.

"Is now really the time to joke!?" Gohan complained as Hirugedarn turned to them...before expelling fire from its mouth at them.

"Jokes help when I'm nervous!" Sonic panicked as they ran out of the path of the flames as they scorched the earth.

"Ha!" Goku shouted as he began powering up and releasing his ki, he flew up and swung a punch at Hirudegarn...only for the monster to become a veil of purple fog. The fog flew up as Goku looked around in shock, only to cry in pain as Hirudegarn literally landed on him and slammed him into the ground, "AAAH!" he cried in pain as tons and tons of monster crushed him into the earth.

"Tousan!" Gohan and Goten called out in concern as Hirudegarn stomped down on Goku several times.

"Just like last time," Roll noted, "He can't be hit unless he's attacking."

Tapion pulled out the Ocarina and began to play once more. Hirudegarn growled and turned to him. The melody seemed to upset it, but it just marched towards him and swung both tails, intent to crush him and be rid of that horrible noise. But before it could, Trunks pushed Tapion out of the way, letting the tails crush another building of the Capsule Corp grounds.

"That relic won't save you anymore then it did your brother!" Hoi laughed.

"Minotia…" Tapion spoke in horror at the truth being confirmed by Hoi.

"There has to be two of them playing together for it to work on a whole Hirudegarn," Aphrodite noted.

"Angel Island's still connected to that Lookout place, right?" Sonic asked.

"That big floating island, right? Yeah, it was there last time I looked," Goku replied.

"Good," Sonic nodded, "Come on, Roll, Shadow. Bulma, you keep going at that radar on your own pace."

"You better be sure this works, Sonic! Whatever you're thinking of!" Bulma shouted

"I did it before while it was corrupted. Purified should be easier," Sonic shrugged before running off with Roll and Shadow following.

"I guess we have to hold it here…" Goku grunted, "I don't care what it is...this ends now!" he shouted as his ki exploded out and he transformed into a Super Saiyan. Goten joined his father in going Super Saiyan while Gohan became his Potential Unleashed state.

With that, the Son Family men charged in as they faced down the Phantom Majin. Hirudegarn growled and swung only for all three to move out of its way. Gohan went in first as he tried to strike the Majin's eye in an attempt to blind it...only for it to become fog once more and flew up into the sky.

"It's faster!" Gohan gasped as it landed in the city.

"HA!" Goku shouted unleashing his signature ki blast...only for it to pass through the fog and blow up a mountain in the distance. Goku tensed before crying in pain as the back of Hirudegarn's hand struck his entire body and sent him flying into and through Capsule Corp.

"Tousan!" Gohan called out before tensing as the beast appeared behind him.

Gohan turned around and kicked at the monster's face...only to strike the fog. It swirled around him, making Gohan tense and look around at every angle. He turned to the side as suddenly Hirudegarn's arm formed from the fog and grabbed him in its grip, leaving only his head free. The beast began tightening its grip, making Gohan cry in pain.

"Gohan!" Videl panicked as the beast seemed like it intended to crush Gohan to death.

But at that moment, a yellow flash exploded against Hirudegarn's arm...damaging its skin and making it bleed. It cried in pain, dropping Gohan as it turned to see who attacked it.

"Over here!" Vegeta's voice got it's attention as the prince of the Saiyans was standing on the roof of Capsule Corp, "I was enjoying my day off...and then some flat footed mutant behemoth of a bug crushes my house!" he growled, "You're gonna regret this, you freak...all the way to hell!" he shouted, powering up to Super Saiyan 2.

With that, Vegeta flew forward as he looped around its punch before stopping just short of its tail. Vegeta grunted and swung a punch at its face only to hit fog. The Saiyan prince turned around and blocked a punch just in time. He pushed back against the beast, only for it to morph into fog again. Vegetga blinked before flinching as Hirudegarn appeared behind him and struck him from behind, sending the Saiyan flying away. Vegeta growled and flew up as he pooled his ki into his cupped hands and swung his arms up then down, tossing the energy like a bomb which exploded against Hirudegarn's face, making it flinch for a moment.

Vegeta took a moment to take in the damage before flinching as the fog reformed the beast once more behind him. Vegeta turned around and was whipped by the beast's tail, sending him flying through several buildings as the fighting fully made its way into the city.

Hirudegarn seemed to grin before flinching as another blast struck its shoulder, making it lurch forward. It growled in rage turning to see Goku in his Super Saiyan 2 form as well. Goku roared as he began unleashing a barrage of ki blasts. The Monster turned to fog again as it avoided all of them. Once it reformed above Goku, it swung down and slammed Goku, spiking him into the streets below. Hirudegarn let gravity pull it down, intent to crush Goku only to look up as a purple light shone in the distance.

"GALLICK GUN….FIRE!" Vegeta shouted as his signature attack struck Hirudegarn and sent the beast flying back and tearing through several buildings upon its crash to the ground.

Goku flew up as Vegeta flew over to join him. The two looked at one another and nodded simply as Hirudegarn stood up with a growl of anger. The two pureblooded Saiyans shouted to match the beast as they powered up and charged. The Maajin swung first...only for, to its shock, Goku let it strike him. At this moment, Vegeta closed the distance and punched Hirudegarn across the jaw, sending it stumbling back. Hirudegarn became Fog and cleared the distance between it and Vegeta before swinging and once again blinked as Vegeta let it hit him. It had little time to ponder why these creatures let it attack them...before crying in pain as a kick to its back made it cry in pain as cracking could be heard to its exoskeletal skin.

Hirudegarn roared in anger as once more it unleashed flames intent to burn those who dared attack it. Goku and Vegeta roared as they held their hands out...and stopped the fire before it could reach them. They growled and pushed their hands as the fire was reversed and sent back at Hirudegarn. The Majin flinched and used its fog form to fly up and avoid the flames.

"Kamehame/Gallick Gun…" Goku and Vegeta began as they cupped their hands while floating side by side, "HA/FIRE!" with, that they fired their beams as they merged together into a navy blue blast as it struck the stunned Hirudegarn and knocked it out of the air with a massive explosion.

The Saiyans waited as the beast was buried under tons of rubble. But after a moment, it burst free with a roar of rage as it glared at the two. It jumped up and swung down as the two flew out of its path this time.

"All that and it's still fighting!" Vegeta grunted as he was struck with a punch.

"We have to keep trying! Sonic and Shadow left to gain their super forms!" Goku grunted as one of the Majin's tails struck him.

"Very well! But they better not be mad if I've killed it before they get here!" Vegeta grunted as he was struck once more.

Hirudegarn roared before stopping as it turned to see Gohan punching it across the face. It growled as its eyes flashed.

"What is this dark energy?" Piccolo pondered, his eyes closed as he stood with Knuckles on the lookout.

"Ten Rings it involves the idiots," Knuckles stated, his own closed.

"That's a loaded bet…" Piccolo countered, "I hear a lot of horrible fighting...whatever it is...it's big."

"And it's got a corrupted Chaos Energy going through it that's growing," Knuckles scowled, 'Finitevus...This better not be your doing.'

"Hi, Knux!"

"GAH!" the echidna shouted, jumping up and spinning around to see the two hedgehogs and one Hedgefox, "What is going on over in West Mobotropolis?!"

"Long story short; alien wizard tricked us into waking up a Pandora's Box and a monster got released that gained Chaos Energy from eating Mobians and it's now on a rampage," Sonic stated.

"Told you it was a loaded bet," Piccolo noted.

"Well, what are you doing here then, idiot!?" Knuckles complained.

"A sit down on the Master Emerald," Sonic replied.

"Absolutely not! I don't want your cheek prints on it!"

"Knux, now is not the time!" Sonic complained.

"Knuckles...you feel that energy." Piccolo growled, "We have to try...or everyone on our planet will die!"

"Grr…" Knuckles growled, "Fine."

"Shadow, too." Sonic added.

"Just sit down already!" Knuckles snapped.

"I'm going to get Senzu beans from Korin!" Piccolo spoke, jumping off the edge.

"Can you even stop that thing?" Knuckles asked, still focusing on the energy of Hirudegarn, "It's not like anything we've ever faced."

"Don't know…" Sonic smirked, "After all, this is all new to me too. But I can't do nothing, I can feel it from here...Goku...Vegie...Gohan...they are letting themselves get beat up just to give me this chance."

"Right...Oi, Roll."

"Hai?"

"Don't be surprised by your boyfriend getting a dye job," Knuckles stated.

"...Okay?" Roll raised a brow before the trio ran across the bridge to the Master Emerald shrine.

"...Sonic, there isn't a single Chaos Emerald here," Shadow noted.

"Don't need 'em," Sonic replied as he jumped onto the Master Emerald.

"I don't think I follow you…" Shadow admitted.

"Trust me! This has worked before!" Sonic stated as he slapped the top of the Master Emerald to motion him to take a seat.

"Your mate is an idiot," Shadow sighed to Roll as he jumped up and took a seat with his back to Sonic, "This had better work...because if I find out I left the fight for nothing…"

"Trust me!" Sonic repeated, "Just think of what it felt like when you first went Super."

"Hmm…" Shadow nodded simply as the Master Emerald began glowing in conjunction with their focus, "So...you've been literally sitting on this concept for how long?" he asked as their quills began raising up.

"A while...but it's kind of my last resort when things get bad," Sonic smiled as the light became brighter.

Roll closed her eyes just before the light flashed. She slowly opened them before they shot fully open. Sonic and Shadow were now floating with their eyes a brilliant ruby red and their quills now raised up and turned either a brilliant gold or stunning silver respectively. Sonic floated down to Roll.

"So...What do you think of Super Sonic?" the gold hedgehog asked.

"Sugoi!" Roll awed.

"It feels different," Shadow noted, flexing his hand, "But...powerful all the same. Sonic go help Vegeta and Goku. I will go meet Piccolo and bring him with me to deliver the Senzu beans." he ordered as he flew off and then down to meet Piccolo at the house of Korin.

"That guy…" Super Sonic put his hands on his hips at that. He then scooped up Roll, "Hang on, I'm even faster like this!"

"Oh! Hai," Roll nodded, wrapping her arms around his neck.

With that, Super Sonic flew off as a golden streak, a shout of excitement from both Sonic and Roll could be heard as they vanished into the distance.

"Gh!" Vegeta grunted as he slid across the ground and stopped before Bulma and the others.

"Vegeta!" Bulma called out in concern.

"It's...getting faster and stronger...even if Kakarot and I can hit it a few times...we won't be able to stop it without one good clean blow…" Vegeta grunted before pushing Bulma back and holding his arms out to form a massive forcefield that blocked another stream of fire from Hirudegarn, "Run…Bulma..." he grunted as his hair returned to normal, letting him pass out.

"Vegeta!" Goku called out, his distraction letting Hirudegarn get behind him and crush Goku between both his palms. Goku cried in pain as the crushing force of the thunderous clap overpowered him.

Hirudegarn growled, lifting its arms up...and swinging them down to slam Goku into the ground with maximum force. It roared and punched Goku deeper into the ground, its fist swinging again and again...as if doing this solely out of malice and petty revenge for daring to harm it.

"Tousan!" Goten called out as Trunks flew up to him, "Trunks!"

"Right! Fusion!" Trunks nodded as he powered up to Super Saiyan.

"Hey, this is the first time we're doing it since things got mixed up," Goten noticed.

"Think they're gonna be surprised?" Trunks asked.

"Maybe...but we can do it again after and have fun with that moment." Goten grunted as the two landed and began to charge their ki...slowly feeling each other's energy and matching their level to synchronise with one another.

"Right! Our dads are in trouble!" Trunks spoke as they found the right level for them.

"Fu…" they began as they entered the starting pose, they swung their arms around to the other side, "...sion…" they stepped towards each other as they leaned in and touched the tips of their index fingers together forming an arch with their bodies, "HA!"

In a huge blinding flash of light, everyone even Hirudegarn stopped. A massive surge of ki filled the air. Everyone looked up as a single boy took the place of both Goten and Trunks. He had much more defined muscles then both, and was clad in white harem pants, with a blue sash around his waist and matching bindings around his ankles ending at his black shoes. His chest was only covered by a black vest with golden markings forming over his shoulder and collar. He was currently in Super Saiyan form as his hair stood up much the way Goten's did...but the sides were wilder like Trunks's hair when he transformed.

He growled as he pumped his arms as his ki exploded even further. Hirudegarn grunted as the flood of power was actually...massive. Lightning rained around the boy as his hair began growing. He grunted in pain as the transformation he used seemed to be...taxing. His eyebrows vanished as his brow itself grew larger. His hair grew out until it reached past his back and to his legs.

"Oh yeah...Gotenks...Super Saiyan 3…" he grunted, opening his eyes to reveal a darker green pupil in his iris.

"Oh no…" Bulma gasped, "They fused again."

"G-Gattai?" Haseo asked.

"It's a move Goku showed them...when fused like this they are as strong as their Dad's...maybe even a little more. But it only lasts half an hour." Bulma explained.

"Hey ugly!" Gotenks shouted, "You are the ugliest looking monster to ever show themselves before the great Gotenks-sama! I'll crush you like the giant ugly bug you are!" he taunted before flying to the side dodging his punch, "Miss me! Miss me!" he laughed as he flew around faster then Hirudegarn could punch making the monster lose balance with all it's wide powerful swings, "Over here!" Gotenks cheered, kicking the Monster in the back making it stumble forward.

Gotenks flew back as Hirudegarn chased after him, the majin unleashed his flames only for them to be dispersed as Gotenks flew through the fire and punched him across the face. Hirudegarn gasped as it's jaw seemed dislocated for a moment. It growled and forced it's jaw back in place and turned to swing only to miss once again. Gotenks smirked as he flew back as Hirudegarn growled in rage, getting upset with its inability to strike Gotenks.

"Bleh!" Gotenks taunted blowing a raspberry as he floated away from all of Hirudegarn's swings.

"Gh...stop playing Hirudegarn!" Hoi ordered.

Hirudegarn roared, becoming his Fog form as he dashed over and formed above Gotenks. Gotenks cringed as he saw a punch aimed right at him. The fusion in his panic forgot his superior speed and raised his arms to block only for a gold flash to move him out of the way. Gotenks opened his eyes and looked to see Super Sonic as he stopped in front of the others to put him down with Roll.

"So...uh...who are you?" Super Sonic blinked looking down at Gotenks.

"I'm Gotenks dude." he replied simply.

"Go...tenks…" Super Sonic repeated with a confused face.

"He feels like Goten-kun and Trunks-kun…" Roll noted, "In...one body?" she tilted her head.

"It's called Fusion!" Gotenks gave them the peace sign, "It's this cool trick we learned from Goten's dad, it lets two people fuse into one even stronger guy! And that's me yo!"

"Huh...neat," Super Sonic noted.

"Yep! And now I'm even stronger than you and our dads!" he taunted.

"...oh yeah?" Super Sonic smirked, "Hey Sh-"

"WE ARE NOT DOING THAT!" Super Shadow snapped as he let go of Piccolo.

"Oh no…" Piccolo groaned upon seeing Gotenks, "Can you at least focus on finishing the monster this time?!" he snapped at the fusion almost like a very annoyed parent to their kid.

"Finish? I'll finish it before you can say way past cool!" Gotenks laughed as he flew off.

"HEy~! That's my line!" Super Sonic complained as he flew off after him

"You see my pain…" Piccolo and Super Shadow spoke in unison, the latter flying off after them as the former went off to treat the injured of their fighters.

"That power...what is it?" Hoi pondered as he saw Super Sonic and Super Shadow, "...It does not matter! Hirudegarn will devour their souls and bring this world to r-" he tensed when Shadow suddenly appeared before him, "Gh!"

"Shut up," Super Shadow frowned before doing a roundhouse kick to the back of his head, sending Hoi flying straight through a car and into a destroyed building, "Manipulative little freak."

"Hey ugly!" Gotenks cheered as he dodged Hirudegarn's punch again.

"Over here!" Super Sonic shouted, slamming a kick to the monsters face knocking if off balance.

"We gotta keep him angry like in Tapion's story, if it's angry he can't dodge our attacks by turning into a ghost!" Gotenks quickly explained, "Wait ghosts...hehehehe!" an evil grin formed on his face suddenly.

"I don't like that look." Super Shadow noted appearing next to them.

"Give me a second I got just the attack to help!" Gotenks spoke as he began charging and focusing his energy into his mouth.

"What are you…?" Super Sonic began before Gotenks began...blowing a giant bubble from his mouth, "Okay and I thought I'd seen it all…" he muttered as the bubble kept growing.

Suddenly the bubble popped as all it's fragments floated around Goten...and began reforming. They turned into these white ghosts like copies of Gotenks. Each one had his cheeky smirk as they floated around.

"Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack!" Gotenks cheered as he struck a pose all twenty ghosts copied.

"..." Super Shadow kept a deadpanned look on his face.

"...Pfft! You're just jealous of our Super Saiyan Swagger," Gotenks and the Ghosts huffed.

"I can't tell if I like this kid...or don't…" Super Sonic muttered.

"Ghosts...attack!" Gotenks ordered as all his ghosts rushed and began flying around Hirudegarn.

The beast was confused, and swung...it hit a ghost...only for the ghost to smirk and begin glowing. Suddenly the beast was pushed back by a massive explosion. It's arm scorched from the point blank blast.

"Hahaha! My Ghosts all explode when they touch anything ya big doofus! Good luck trying to escape me now!" Gotenks cheered, "Look and be amazed by the great Gotenks-sama's power!"

"JUST HURRY AND FINISH IT BEFORE IT RECOVERS!" Super Shadow snapped.

"You're not doing anything!" Gotenks snapped back.

"Guys!" Super Sonic spoke as the ghosts kept exploding on impact with Hirudegarn as it fell over onto a large tower, "Guys!"

"What?!" Gotenks and Super Shadow turned to him.

"UH...that's not normal is it?" Super Sonic pointed as the smoke died down to reveal the beast was now...dark brown as if covered in a thick burnt shell.

"...wait…" Super Shadow began in realization, "It's a bug...that means…"

"Means what?" Gotenks asked in confusion.

"We've been fighting a larvae. It's gone into a pupal stage and..." Super Shadow began as he frowned, "It's just now reaching adulthood."

"But Tapion said this thing has always been like this...unless...all that Chaos energy from all those Mobians…" Super Sonic realized, "It's not just changing, it's…"

At that, the shell suddenly split open. A new golden shelled Hirudegarn growled as it began to ripp itself free, its back split open to reveal large glowing insect wings. Its new golden shell was broken up by patches of purple muscle poking through and a series of red stripes. Black bull like horns grew from its skull as its claws became sharper. Its wings grew out larger to be able to lift it up...as it began flying above them.

"It's gone super…" Super Sonic finished his sentence as Hirudegarn growled at them.

"Uh...my B?" Gotenks apologized sheepishly before Hirudegarn breathed out emerald-green flames at them, "HOO BOY!"

"CHAOS CONTROL!" Super Shadow shouted as the three suddenly vanished, letting them move further away from the Majin.

"What happened?!" Gotenks panicked.

"It's gone super like me and Shadow!" Super Sonic realized, "All those Mobians...now...it has a link to the Chaos force like us."

"Meaning...if it eats more people…" Super Shadow realized.

"It really will be unstoppable!" Super Sonic gasped.

"N-no way...really?" Gotenks asked...before he suddenly flashed and was split apart into Goten and Trunks again who then lost their Super Saiyan transformations as well, "Wuh-oh…" they both spoke at the same time.

"TCh...damn it," Super Shadow groaned, grabbing the two before vanishing and reappearing next to Piccolo and Roll, "Don't move," he ordered the two as he dropped the two and vanished once more.

"...Jerk," Trunks muttered with a pout.

"Did you waste the fusion time limit again?" Piccolo groaned.

"Maybe.../Yes," Trunks and Goten spoke at the same time.

"I...have many questions…" Roll spoke still confused on what this fusion thing was.

"Fusion is powerful, but it has a time limit," Piccolo explained, "It normally lasts half an hour, but Super Saiyan 3 lessened the time down by a significant amount."

"It's super cool." The boys replied before looking out at the fight scene in the city as the two golden orbs of Sonic and Shadow clashed with Hirudegarn.

"That thing is using the life force of Mobians it ate to attain Chaos force power…" Piccolo realized, "If Sonic and Shadow can't stop it...what can?"

"Gh!" Super Sonic grunted as he blocked another punch, "Since it's using Chaos power...I can kinda feel that." he pushed it aside as Super Shadow kicked Hirudegarn.

"But we can't be sure this thing shares our time limit…" Super Shadow spoke as Hirudegarn vanished as fog again, "We need to end it in one blow…"

"Do we even have something like that?" Super Sonic asked as they stood back to back till the monster appeared above them and breathed its emerald flames only for them to fly out of the way just in time.

"Even if we did...it would drain all of our Super form energy." Super Shadow replied as he fired Chaos spears at Hirudegarn, "And if we miss…"

"We're done for." Super Sonic spoke flying alongside him, "So it's either a long fight or a short fight."

"If only we had Goku or Vegeta here. We could use them as a spear to our shield." Super Shadow growled.

"Hopefully Piccolo got them the Senzu Beans in time."

"Till then...we have to protect the world…" Super Shadow sighed.

"Again!" Sonic cheered.

"Just shut up and fight!" Super Shadow snapped as he summoned a massive barrage of Chaos spears he fired at Hirudegarn.

"Can't ever have fun." Super Sonic smirked as he flew forward and at the beast.

Hirudegarn roared as he became fog and avoided most of the spears. He reformed only to flinch as Super Sonic punched him across the face. The Majin roared and swung both hands to catch Super Sonic between them. It tried to crush him, Super only for Sonic to use his arms to push back. Hirudegarn growled in anger before flinching as more Chaos spears rained from above, pelting him and making him fall and release Super Sonic. Super Sonic grunted as he flew up and slammed into Hirudegarn's stomach and launched the beast back up into the air. Multiple energy spheres appeared around the Phantom Majin before Super Shadow snapped his fingers, causing them all to explode as the creature roared out.

"Come on…" Super Sonic muttered as the smoke cleared to show an utterly enraged Hirudegarn, "And it's still kicking! I hate space demons…"

"You and me both," Super Shadow frowned.

With that the two Super Hedgehogs flew forward as they punched at the same time as Hirudegarn. Their fists collided as a loud clap filled the air. Buildings began shaking as glass broke from the thunderous sound. Hirudegarn growled and swung again only for Super Sonic to block the swing with very little damage. In this moment, Super Shadow appeared in the beast's face as he aimed his finger and unleashed a barrage of Chaos spears right into its face. Hirudegarn cried in pain as it swung around wildly in it's rage. Super Sonic smirked as he flew to get in a hit, only to miss as he went through fog. Super Sonic looked around before flinching as the Majin's tail smacked him out of the air and sent him flying through several buildings. Super Shadow aimed and fired a powerful blast only for Hirudegarn to vanish into fog again.

Super Shadow looked around as the fog encircled him. He flinched as only a part of the Majin's arm formed and punched him. Super Shadow flinched again as it's tail smacked him before returning to the fog. He then looked up as Hirudegarn's face formed behind him, the Majin opened its jaw and unleashed its emerald flames once more. Super Shadow barely had time to form a barrier around him to protect himself.

"Tch! It's getting smarter by the second," Super Shadow frowned.

"I'm really starting to hate this thing." Super Sonic shot up, "I can't be sure how much longer we have...but we can't let that thing exist. It's just pure evil...and it's just gonna keep hurting people." he unleashed more of his golden aura, "I have to stop it!" he then stopped as he could feel several energies returning to full power, "I mean we...I keep forgetting how I'm not the only amazing one here."

"HAAA!" three separate voices roared as two golden lights and one white shot into the sky.

Hirudegarn grunted before it was suddenly kicked by Goku back in Super Saiyan 2. Vegeta followed up with a strike to the beasts back making it fall. Hirudegarn growled, getting up and unleashing its Emerald flames...only for it to be blasted away by Gohan's Masenko. It roared and opened its wings and flew after them as the three dispersed. Gohan roared as he swung a kick only to miss as Hirudegarn went back on the defensive.

Super Sonic and Goku flew in as they dashed around in an attempt to see if they could do something to the fog. Only for it to be pointless. Hirudegarn reformed and swung both arms down and struck the two sending them falling to the street below. Hirudegarn grunted as it was pelted by blasts from both sides from Vegeta and Super Shadow. It looked up only to be shocked as Gohan landed a kick to the Majin's face that sent it falling and crashing into many buildings. Hirudegarn slowly stood up as it wiped its jaw of blood Gohan had drawn from his kick.

"Gohan!" Vegeta shouted, "We'll draw the monster's attention...when you get the opening, take it!"

"I got it!" Gohan nodded.

"Now...monster…" Vegeta growled as Hirudegarn turned to him and Super Shadow, "Get the hell off my planet...and go straight to hell!" he roared unleashing his ki to his utmost limits.

"I've fought hard to keep this place in one piece...I won't let a disgusting space insect ruin that." Super Shadow added.

With that the two charged as their speed took Hirudegarn by surprise as they tackled into his stomach. The Majin hacked up blood as it was sent skidding back. It growled and swung a punch as Vegeta got in the way and blocked it. Super Shadow flew over the arm and began shooting Chaos spears at Hirudegarn's face. The beast roared, turning into Fog again. It encircled the two as its arms and legs began forming from the cloud. The two grunted as they were struck again and again, unable to predict its attacks the two held their ground, polling all their energy into defense and withstand the onslaught of blows. Hirudegarn formed above them and slapped his hands together and brought them down with a hammer strike that sent both flying down to the ground.

Hirudegarn flew down to strike them again only to flinch as the two flew up and met him as they crashed into the Majin's chest. They pushed Hirudegarn back and into a building. Hirudegarn turned to Fog and let the two slam into the building. The beast seemed to smirk before preparing to attack. Gohan flew up and straight at the beasts chest intent to strike through it, but he grunted as he went through...as Hirudegarn partially changed to fog.

"It…" Gohan began before he flinched as he was struck out of the sky by Hirudegarn's tail, but the beast didn't end there as it's tail snaked around Gohan...and began crushing him, "WAAAHHH!" Gohan cried out in pain as horrible cracking could be heard.

"Gohan…" Vegeta grunted getting back up, "Damn it...the beast...it's learning how to fight…"

"It's...truly an unstoppable force…" Super Shadow grunted.

"Our only hope would be to put all the energy we have...all of us...into a single attack." Vegeta grunted.

"...My thoughts exactly," Super Shadow frowned, taking off his wrist rings as he began to glow with crimson energy, "I got one shot with this…everyone steer clear. The blast radius is going to be huge."

"Wh-?" Vegeta began before Super Shadow vanished.

Hirudegarn roared as he tossed Gohan away, sending him crashing through a few buildings as his roars echoed throughout the ruined city. It took notice of Videl running up to the injured Sayan, about to fire its emerald flames at her before Super Shadow appeared before it, making it tense up.

"CHAOS….!" Super Shadow growled, crossing his arms as more and more crimson energy surrounded him, "BLAST!"

Hirudegarn attempted to turn into Fog once more, but the incoming chaotic blast of crimson energy was instantaneous as it engulfed the entire area surrounding it, engulfing both the Majin and Super Shadow, the resulting shockwave sending Videl and the unconscious Gohan flying. Vegeta grunted as he held his place in the air.

"Gh…" Vegeta grunted as the explosion began to die down. He looked to see Super Shadow still floating there...but he was flickering between his normal and super form, "Did it work?" he flew over to Super Shadow's side and caught him before he fell to the ground.

"It...better…" Shadow heavily panted, "That...was my strongest attack…"

The two tensed as the rubble below them began to tremble as fog rose up out of the ground. It began reforming as it slowly took the shape of Hirudegarn, one of it's horns was snapped off and it's shoulder pieces damaged. It was covered in burns and bleeding wounds. It's eyes glowing pure red in rage from the damage Super Shadow had inflicted upon it.

"Oh you've gotta be…!" the two began before Hirudegarn's emerald flames engulfed them, sending them flying back and crashing through some buildings and landed on the lawn of Capsule Corp.

"Papa!" Trunks shouted flying over to his father.

"Vegeta! Shadow!" Bulma called out in concern as they ran to their side.

"It's no good...the only way to end this...would be with one attacking using all the power we have…" Vegeta grunted, "The only one who can do that...is Kakarot…only he can become the Third stage naturally!"

"But...even then...to land a blow we need to wait for the beast to attack…" Shadow cringed as Goten helped him up, "Only Sonic has his Super power left...only he could hope to take the beasts blows."

"So...a perfect shield and spear…" Bulma spoke.

"Exactly…" Shadow nodded

Everyone turned to the sound of the Majin's roar as it marched their way. It growled in anger only to suddenly freeze in place. Everyone paused...and could hear it, Tapion's Ocarina. He was playing it, drawing Hirudegarn away from them. The beast roared it could only feel rage and pain from the music...while to others the sound was sad yet beautiful. The beast leaned back to roar as it marched towards Tapion. Hirudegarn unleashed its Chaos infused Emerald flames...only for a barrier to form around Tapion and protect him from the flames...in fact, the barrier seemed to draw in the flames and making it grow. The Barrier expanded until it was able to slam into Hirudegarn, making the beast stumble back.

"Tapion!" Trunks called out, "He really is here to save the planet."

"For so long you fed on the misery and pain of others…" Tapion's telepathically projected voice spoke as Hirudegarn cried in pain from the song's magic, "You stole from me everything precious and dear…" he floated closer as Hirudegarn backed into a building, giving it nowhere to run, "But no more...it ends Now!"

With a final roar...Hirudegarn began breaking apart. Becoming nothing but blue and green light as his massive body broke down and was once more absorbed into Tapion's body to jail the beast.

"Impossible…" Hoi spoke as he watched the last of Hirudegarn be sealed away inside of Tapion.

After a moment, the young hero fell to the ground, his body glowing with a faint green light as he once again became the living jail for the Phantom Majin. Trunks flew over as fast as he could, intent to great his hero and congratulate him for his victory. But...Tapion raised his head...and met Trunks with a sad smile.

"Tapion?" Trunks blinked, "You did it, right? It's over?"

"No…" he shook his head before reaching for his sword, he flipped it around so as to point the handle towards Trunks, the boy flinched as he looked at the weapon presented to him, "Trunks...there isn't much time...quick...strike my heart!"

"What...no…" Trunks shook his head in horror.

"I can't hold him much longer…" Tapion grunted.

"But...you…" Trunks began as tears formed in his eyes.

"Do you want to see everyone you love die?!" Tapion snapped.

"I...can't...you're my friend…" Trunks replied as he began crying from the painful surge of conflicting emotions.

"Ah...Trunks...I know it's not fair to ask you...but there's no other way...I don't want to hurt you!" Tapion grunted, "I know death seems cruel...but I welcome this blade. Help...me…"

Trunks cried before gritting his teeth as he reached out and took Tapion's sword. The blade changed upon entering his hands, the blade became thinner and lighter like a long sword; easier for him to wield opposed to the wide broadsword that it was for Tapion.

"Yes...thank you Trunks." Tapion lowered his head in anticipation, "It was an honor to know you...as my brother." with that Trunks lifted the sword up above his head.

"No!" Hoi shouted as he rushed towards them, only to stop as a green blur kicked him.

"Trunks!" Piccolo shouted as he knocked Hoi back, "Hurry!" he shouted as he swung his hand out to block a beam of magic from Hoi.

Trunks held the sword up...tears streaming down his face. He just couldn't do it, he could not hurt Tapion. He couldn't hurt his friend. He understood...really he did. But it was just impossible, his heart refused to let him. The silence was soon broken when Tapion cried out in pain, feeling Hirudegarn trying to break free once more.

"Tapion!" Trunks cried out, dropping Tapion's sword as he ran over to him.

"Gh….GHAAAAAAAAAH!" Tapion cried out as the fog came off him once more, the Ocarina shattered in his hands.

"Heh...pathetic fools!" Hoi shouted as Hirudegarn began to reform, "Hirudegarn is mine to control, as are all inferior beings that pollute my universe! You all should be grateful my kind has let you live this long!" he laughed as Hiridegarn roared, now fully reformed once more, "Now Hirudegarn, slaughter them all! In fact...start with the two tailed f-!"

*STOMP!*

"?!" The group tensed as Hirudegarn lifted its foot as it began to walk away, leaving Hoi's now crushed and lifeless body as the Majin began to resume its destruction of the city.

"It's too strong even for it's master…" Piccolo spoke, "The beast gained intelligence...sentience from the Chaos Energy."

"How can we stop it?" Trunks asked, grabbing Tapion's sword.

"Only one option…" Piccolo spoke as he pulled out his last two Senzu beans, he flew off as Trunks helped Tapion walk back towards Capsule Corp.

"Am I dead again?" Goku, back in his base form, asked as he was buried under rubble.

"No...but this feels like what it should," Sonic still in super form groaned, rubbing his head, "Since it has Chaos energy...it can hurt me...but I still can't die till I change back...oh this is gotta hurt worse than math…"

"Please don't bring up Math...it makes my head hurt." Goku groaned.

"You and me both, man…" Super Sonic sighed before the two noticed Piccolo landing near them, "Oh...hey Big Green."

"Don't call me that," Piccolo frowned a bit in annoyance as he stepped forward and threw a pair of Senzu Beans at them, "The beast killed its master and gained sentience from the Chaos Energy channeling through its body. Not even Shadow's best attack could best it..."

"Oh...well that's peachy," Super Sonic muttered sarcastically as he and Goku caught their respective Senzu Beans.

"The thing is hurt...but if it feeds again." Piccolo sighed.

"Right. Back to square one." Super Sonic nodded.

"What can we do then?" Goku asked.

"You have to use Super Saiyan 3…" Piccolo spoke to Goku.

"..." Goku tensed at that.

"Goku, it's the only form that could hurt the thing before. Gotenks can't reform for another half an hour...your the only one who can use the form naturally." Piccolo pointed out, "If you and Sonic work together, you can use it's weakness."

"...he's right," Super Sonic spoke, popping his Senzu Bean into his mouth and chewed on it before swallowing it, "If I can distract it, Goku can finish it with one huge attack."

"But that's a one in a million shot." Piccolo spoke, "You need to time it perfectly."

"I think only Goku has that level of fighting skill," Super Sonic admitted, "So I'll be the shield...and Goku will be the spear to pierce that monster's hide."

"Got it," Goku nodded as he ate his Senzu Bean, swallowing it as he regained his energy, he then began floating up into the sky.

"Get ready...things are about to get...shaky…" Piccolo warned Super Sonic.

"Huh?" Super Sonic blinked.

"Ghh…" Goku grunted as his hair began raising up, "GHH!" he grunted turning Super Saiyan, "Grrr…" his hair spiked out to Super Saiyan 2, lightning sparked around him as his aura grew out greatly, the air itself felt like it was vibrating. The ground shook like a horrible earthquake as debris, chunks of buildings and the road began floating up into the air, "Ha….HAA!" Goku roared as the energy grew larger, "AAAAAAHHHHH!" he roared out as the shaking grew worse, "AAAAA-AAAHHH!" it sounded less like effort and more like pain as his hair began growing. His Ki raged like a storm as the tremors grew stronger.

"I...see what you mean!" Super Sonic grunted, "It's like the air is shaking...like the planet is trembling…" 'Is this...what its like when Goku goes Super Saiyan 3?!'

"AAAAAHHHHH!" Goku screamed as his hair reached it's full length, his eye-brows vanished as his brow grew larger. After a moment he stopped as all the debris lifted into the air by his transformation fell down. Goku looked up as his face was now set into a permanent glare due to the changes to his face by the transformation.

"That's...a true Super Saiyan 3…" Piccolo spoke.

"Woah…" Super Sonic whispered in awe before shaking his head, "Awe later...help exterminate the giant space demon bug now," he muttered as he floated up next to Goku.

"HEY!" Goku roared, catching the attention of Hirudegarn as it stopped in its destruction to glare at him with its demonic red eyes, "Fight me...if you're ready to die..."

"Wow...this form makes Goku more intense…" Super Sonic muttered.

HIrudegarn roared as it turned and lunged right at the two, preparing to slash them with its claw as they blurred out of the way. It was about to turn and attack before roaring out in pain, feeling a sharp pain around its tail as it was suddenly sliced by Trunks using Tapion's sword.

"Wait….it didn't even try to get all foggy that time," Super Sonic whispered, noticing what just happened before he saw Trunks about to jump and slash at Hirudegarn once more, "Trunks stop!"

"Wh-?!" Trunks flinched as he stopped.

"This monster is ours to handle!" Goku snapped.

"Father…!" Gohan called out from nearby, Videl helping him stand up, "I think I know its weakness!"

"Same!" Super Sonic shouted, making Goku look at him, "I think intense emotions make Hirudegarn weak...we can use that."

"Right." Goku spoke, "When it's angry...it gets lost in its desire to kill. It forgets its defense. That means...we have to anger it."

"Heh….should be easy enough," Super Sonic smirked before rushing up to Hirudegarn, "Hey bug ugly Martian! I've seen roaches uglier than you!" he taunted before quickly flying up to avoid Hirudegarn's swing, "SWING AND A MISS!"

"Hmm. Hit a nerve did he?" Goku taunted with a smirk before holding his hands out, blocking Hirudegarn's incoming punch, "You call that a punch? You'll have to do better than that."

"I honestly doubt it! A fly could probably do a better job!" Super Sonic laughed as Hirudegarn tried blowing emerald flames at him, only for the super-powered hedgehog to become a blur and let the flames up into the sky, "Hoo~! Someone could use a breath mint."

Hirudegarn roared as it punched out, Super Sonic jumping in and taking the blow. It swung its next fist as Goku moved in and took the punch this time. Goku cried out in pain, before smirking again.

"I think it's working…" Goku grinned, "I never felt such a sloppy punch...you have to be the single weakest Majin I've ever met...Buu hits harder than you and he's made of bubblegum!"

"Oooh~! Low blow~!" Super Sonic laughed, "Oh! And I know why your tail is so long...you're overcompensating for something, ain't you?!"

Hirudegarn roared out in pure anger as it threw a punch at Sonic, who took the blow head on as the resulting shockwave broke more windows nearby.

"...heh….Goku's right. That was a sloppy punch…" Super Sonic grinned before grunting as Hirudegarn pushed its fist and sent him flying back, "Come on...keep on roaring, ugly...I'm right here!" he shouted, "I've saved this world from threat after threat...you're just another bump in my road!"

Hirudegarn roared, punching again as Super Sonic held his hands out and blocked it. He grunted and pushed back.

"This...energy...it's not yours…" Super Sonic grunted, "It belongs to us Mobians...it's ours to use to protect our home...I'm not letting some nasty space bug...take that away from us! I won't let you hurt anyone...we won't let you! This is my part in saving the world with my friends...I won't let Chaos energy hurt the people I care about!" he roared, putting all his power into his hand, "So...I'm...taking it...back!" he roared as a green glow came from where his hands blocked Hirudegarn's fist, Super Sonic pulled his arms back as green energy was pulled from the monster and into him, Hirudegarn roared as the energy it had gained...began to leave it, its golden shell dulling in color as Super Sonic took away its Chaos Energy, "Now get off our world! GOKU!"

"HA!" Goku roared as he rushed past Super Sonic, his arm reared back as the air around him began to ignite into golden flames, "DRAGON FIST! EXPLOSION!" he roared, punching his fist as he unleashed a wave of golden flames.

The flames took shape before flashing and turning into a golden image of Shenron. The Dragon roared...as it pierced right through Hirudegarn. The Majin coughed in pain as the dragon kept flying up. The ground began to break as flames erupted from the ground around the Phantom Magin. The flames looped and formed around Hirudegarn before becoming a second Golden Dragon as it coiled around it. It cried in fear as the dragon roared in it's face. Hirudegarn then looked forward as Sonic and Goku flew at it.

"DOUBLE...DRAGON FIST!" they shouted, punching forward aiming their fists at Hirudegarn's face. Suddenly the first dragon looped around and opened it's jaw as it lined up behind them. Suddenly a giant tornado of golden fire rose up into the sky as it turned into two Gold dragons spiralling around one another.

HIrudegarn's roar could be heard within the dragonic tornado as its body began to fade out, burning away as within a matter of moments...silence befell the area as Hirudegarn's roars were silenced, spheres of light flying out as the light of the sun shone once more, the combined attack tearing a huge hole within the dark clouds above as they began to part and fade away.

"We won…" Trunks whispered as he began to smile in relief, "We won!"

"Thank kami-sama...it's finally over," Roll whispered in relief.

"One question: how far away is he from you right now?" Shadow asked.

"Eh? Ano…" Roll trailed off as her eyes widened.

"Want me to fly you there?" Trunks asked with a smile.

"Please hurry," she pleaded. Trunks grabbed her hand and flew off, effortlessly carrying her towards the spot where the two heroes landed.

Goku huffed as he was still in his Super Saiyan 3 form...before collapsing while flashing back to normal. Super Sonic stood there...before flashing back and falling over onto his rear with a sigh, but compared to Goku he was perfectly fine.

"We...we did it...ow...I think...I pulled my everything…" Goku chuckled, "Good work buddy!" he gave a weak thumbs up.

"Heh...you too...man…" Sonic smirked in a tired manner

"So as long as you run the form out the normal way...you come out fine." Piccolo noted floating down, "Meanwhile Goku tore his body apart with 3…"

"He...is not being colorful…" Goku groaned in pain.

"Yeesh...well...least we can relax finally," Sonic offered before yelping when Roll rushed over and hugged him, "Gah! Pain! So much pain…!"

"I guess your transformation acted as a temporary buffer." Piccolo noted.

'Minotia…' Tapion thought as he looked out at the sky, seeing the souls fly off as a sense of calm finally coursed through his body...the nightmare caused by both Hoi and Hirudegarn finally over, 'Goku...Sonic...thank you.'

"Tapion...I want you to know…" Trunks spoke up getting his attention as he brought the sword.

"...There's no need to explain." Tapion cut him off, "Whatever decision you made...was the right one. If you trust your heart...it all works out in the end."

"...Yeah," Trunks nodded with a small smile.

"So what will you do now?" Bulma asked as everyone gathered outside the remains of Capsule Corp's main grounds.

"Not sure…" Tapion smiled, "I'm not sure where to go next. Maybe I'll try and return home to Konats...it won't be the same...but...I have more happy memories there then sad."

"Shame. You'd make a very good Freedom Fighter," Sonic stated, a few bandages on him, "...Hmm...in fact. I think there is a place that might make you feel more at home. Mercia. Nice little kingdom out in the woods with little to no tech there, and there's a Freedom Fighter group there that could welcome you with opened arms. Oh...and if a Rob'O the Hedge asks about you, tell 'em Sonic the Hedgehog sent you their way."

"This world is rather...interesting." Tapion noted that as he removed his sword, "Maybe staying here a little while longer...won't be so bad." he mused, rustling Trunks hair, "I guess I could explore this world some more. I'll see you guys around." he smiled.

"T-Take care, Tapion-san," Haseo smiled a bit.

"You kids take care. too," Tapion smiled, "Try not to cause trouble for your mothers though." he smirked before walking over to Trunks, he then put his sword down and stood it up, sheath and all before him, "Trunks...here." he spoke as Trunks's eyes widened at that.

"F-for real?" Trunks asked.

"It's yours, brother," Tapion smiled, "I don't need it anymore. The Monster is gone. Now...it's just a regular old magic sword. Besides...something tells me...this was always meant for you." he added as Trunks took hold of the sword.

"Woah~!" Trunks awed as he looked at the sword in pure excitement.

"I know you'll use it wisely." Tapion smiled, "To protect this world, alongside your friends and family." he sighed, "Besides...I'll find another sword. This one...it's better off here with you."

"So cool…" Goten awed as he looked at the sword as Trunks strapped it to his back the same way Tapion did.

"Aphrodite...you wouldn't happen to be able to help teach him how to use that...you know...so he doesn't poke an eye out?" Bulma asked in concern, but didn't want to ruin the moment for the boys.

"I can ask Mika-chan. She knows many sword styles."

"Good...Last thing I want is that thing to suddenly fly through the house and almost impale someone...I already have one dangerous spikey thing in this house...and I don't mean Shadow." Bulma sighed.

"Hmm?" Vegeta opened an eye at that.

"Well...we're gonna make a mint rebuilding the town…" Bulma muttered, changing the subject, "I should probably call up Sally and her brother so we can plan how to rebuild and make some more comfortable changes for both humans and Mobians."

"I forget...you more or less run everything, Bulma…" Gohan muttered.

"Guess we have a lot of projects…" Bulma sighed in annoyance, "Good thing Tails had to move construction of his ship out of town...we're gonna need those Namekian Dragon Balls now…"

"Oh yeah...Space road trip!" Sonic cheered.

"Don't tell him the planet has a lot of water…" Piccolo whispered to Roll, earning a nod from the hedgevixen.

"Well..one thing to note?" Sonic began with a small grin, "We don't have to worry about Eggman or his goons when we get there."

"Hmph...that's another batch of those demons," A large hulking figure muttered in an Australian accent, standing within a fairly small alien-like village as they looked at a small golden ring in their hands, "Tch...to think the Echidnas would join forces with the Demon King's forces...if I had known the world Mobius fused with had this Demon King Piccolo..I would've stopped them sooner. Still…" a grin grew on the figure's face, "This saves me the trouble...not only can I resume my mission...but I can prevent these demons from becoming the next demon king. And this world..." they looked out at the clear light-green sky, "I can preserve its beauty and make sure neither the Echidnas or demons can taint it any further."

SZ: Well...we go from Wrath of the Dragon to recreating a certain event from the pre-reboot Archie Sonic comic...oh if Knuckles doesn't kill you know who when he sees him...Piccolo sure will.

Z0: Time to go back to Namek...there's no killer ice name-themed alien...this time. But there sure is something dangerous. Now some might wonder why things are like this. To that I say...read the next chapter stupid.
