"Hmm…so far so good," Professor Pickles muttered as he, Bulma, Sally and Relic were currently looking at a 3D map of the planet, "So far three of the Gaia Temples have been restored, meaning we are inching closer to the planet being restored."
"Question is where are the remaining Gaia Temples," Sally pondered before looking over at the Pica, "Relic?"
"I did some searching with Nicole's help, and so far I've pinpointed three more locations," Relix answered as parts of the floating continents glowed a bit, "Spagonia, Shamar, and Adabat….and yet…" she paused as a question mark appeared on the map, "We've found no traces of the Last Temple, so it must be hidden somewhere."
"It seems like a real pain…" Bulma sighed.
"But at least we know where the other temples are," Sally stated
"Now its just about actually getting to them and fixing things." Bulma nodded, "I guess we can split up our forces and send teams to the ones we do know, hopefully get them all at once." she paused, "I should probably check on Gohan…"
"No need." Amy spoke up walking in, "Mr. Piccolo just called in, the situation is handled and Goku is off…and I quote: Giving the Iron Dominion Heart problems and Nightmares for years to come." she quoted in her best impression of Piccolo's gruff voice, "Apparently he can track down something called a…Snively?" she shrugged, "I think that sounds familiar but honestly with all the threats, dangers and the deep mental health dive I did with Mr. Piccolo I am drawing a blank."
"...oh no…" Sally groaned, earning a look from Bulma, "...Snively is Eggman's nephew…and is just as cunning if not more than him. Honestly…I thought I'd never hear from him again after he and the rest of Iron Legion retreated once we took back the city."
"Well he says Goku is right now…teleporting to watch him." Amy said.
"Hi~!" Goku smiled, appearing right in front of Snively.
"AAAAHHHH!" he screamed in a very high pitched tone.
"Heh heh. You scream like Eggman…though his sounds more like a goat screaming." he chuckled, "So just checking in, your not being evil right…cause…I'd have to deck ya if you was." he smiled leaning in, "So…are you being evil Mr. Snively?" he raised a hand, "Answer honestly…or I will read your mind."
"...Well, before you jumpscared my heart…!" Snively began, annoyance starting to come up as he pointed to a few Iron Dominion soldiers picking up debris, "I was supervising the repair of Regina's castle!"
"Oh and enjoying breakfast." Goku looked at the muffin in his hand…before swiping it and jamming it into his mouth, "Mmm…buttery and warm…" he muttered, "Okay you guys be good…or else this!" he aimed his hand and fired a Ki blast which just evaporated part of the castle away, "Bye now!" at that he vanished.
"...I didn't think it was possible…but I found someone I detest more than the hedgehog…" Snively muttered with an eye twitch.
"Well…we can hope Goku stresses them out so much…they die faster…" Bulma offered.
"He says Goku blew up their castle again…and stole their breakfast." Amy looked at a text from Piccolo, "Sonic took pictures." She held it up for Bulma and Sally, showing a very upset Snively…with Sonic in the picture holding up his belt.
"...honestly," Sally shook her head…though she gave a mental chuckle at the look Snively gave.
"Given they might not get Eggman's thing he uses to hide from Goku, we can be happy he'll keep an eye on them." Amy offered, "Also Piccolo says he's…and once again I quote: Taken in more annoying kids who need better parental supervision…also training and butt kickings. I paraphrased the last part."
"...He's….honestly not wrong on the parental supervision part," Sally admitted, "Especially when we were younger and were a smaller group dealing with Robotnik."
"Something tells me you guys could have really used 12 year old Goku…" Bulma spoke, "He honestly used to have very little issue…blowing things and people up."
"So…then how did he become so kind and forgiving?" Amy blinked.
"That is a rather sudden change considering you claim he tried to eat most things that weren't people before…" Sally muttered.
"Maybe it's a good thing we never found a baby Saiyan in the woods instead of Tails…" Amy muttered.
"Agreed…"
"But well to answer that question." Bulma muttered, "Goku says he learned a lot of important lessons…from his good friend, a kind robot named Eighter."
"A robot?" Amy and Sally asked in surprise.
"That's right, Goku made friends with an Android, one made by the Red Ribbon to hurt people…Goku made friends with him…and learned more about Mercy and Kindness from him." Bulma smiled, "Strange huh? A robot made to hurt people…taught a boy to be kind and forgive people. But those are just the strange Adventures of Son Goku."
"Not the strangest I have heard," Professor Pickles chuckled a bit, he and Relic having listened in, "Human…robot, Mobian, Overlander…no matter the species, all it takes is a kind and gentle soul to show someone the right way."
"Goku…gives me the worst headaches ever…but…" Bulma smiled, "He's protected us from everything the universe has to throw at us. So…fine if he wants to let these weirdos live, I'll trust him. Cause I know no matter what they try…Goku can stop them." she paused, "And Vegeta…"
"Damn right!" he shouted from another room.
"That's what Sonic is to all of you right?" Bulma looked to Sally and Amy, "Well now we got two of them…" she sighed, "And Shadow~"
"Thank you." he responded from another room.
"...You're not wrong about Sonic," Sally smiled a bit, looking at her reflection on a blank omnitor, "He's been there to protect us from not just Eggman…but from many of Mobius' enemies…and no matter how many times they tried to stop him, he just gets back up and already running…just like the wind."
"Sonic may not lead the Freedom Fighters, but he has something that gives us the drive to take back Mobius from Eggman," Amy added with her own smile, "The embodiment of freedom."
'...and yet…I tried to take that freedom away…' Sally thought, recalling a certain…argument the two had way before Mobius fused with Earth.
"..." Bulma smiled seeing the look on Sally's face, "But now the world is a lot weirder…and now we have twice as many friends as before." she went over and put a hand on her shoulder, "The world will keep changing a lot. So…look forward to some new and weird adventures."
"...yeah. I suppose so," Sally nodded with a small smile.
"Whatever happened…you can't…hmm…nope can't say that I have a Time traveler son…you shouldn't change it. Cause trust us…all you can do is try and make a better life together." Bulma chuckled, "You kids had to deal with so much on your own. And you're so strong for that," she put a hand on Amy's shoulder too, "It's really inspiring. I was never this brave or strong at your age. I was just a selfish little girl looking for trouble. So…I found the biggest trouble ever…now he's my best friend…and I have faith he'll protect this world. Along with my very cranky husband."
"Shut up Baby, I know it!" Vegeta called out.
"You marry for love girls…not for brains…" Bulma sighed.
"True/not wrong there/admittedly so/mm hmm," Sally, Amy, Nicole and Relic agreed.
"Alright, you look like you got most things in order." Piccolo spoke looking over his new students, "You're gonna need to keep this place free of evil assholes while I'm away. Or so help me if I find out this happened again…the person in charge is gonna do what I like to call…Dodge training…"
"Please no more Dodge training…" Khan whispered with a wide-eyed look, "I'm still recovering from the point blank blast…"
"Oh it was only minor internal bleeding," Piccolo argued, "But I mean it. I don't like sharing a world with villains…so if I'm not allowed to murder them, I'm going to find each and every person who fought against them and ensure your strong enough to kick them out. Cause I want to meditate in peace at the top of the world. And I can hear everything…" he sighed, "But…you are still just kids so I guess I have to cut you some slack. From my experience Kids are naturally stupid and screw up a lot."
"Well that's harsh…" most muttered.
"How many times did the Monkey get brainwashed?" Piccolo argued.
"Now that's unfair…" Khan sighed.
"I got brainwashed before…know what I did? I forced the poison controlling me out of my veins with my muscle control!" Piccolo declared.
"...damn. Master's hardcore," Jian blinked a bit.
"You can grow stronger, so I'm gonna make sure each and every one of you does!" Piccolo declared, "Once the world is safe your all coming to the Angel Island Lookout…and the training will begin in full! Mostly cause I keep finding kids I need to make stronger…"
"You adopt them Mr. Piccolo…" Videl pointed out.
"I refuse to embrace that…I am no one's Papa." Piccolo complained.
"Yet your not afraid to go defensive daddy when one of your 'kids' gets in trouble," Sonic smirked.
"Kids, the first one to bruise Sonic is exempt from Dodge training for a month." Piccolo spoke simply.
"Oh dang…" Sonic blinked in realization.
"Get him…" Khan spoke simply as they all smirked.
"AH!" Sonic screamed as he began running.
"Hmm…they're good kids." Piccolo smirked.
"Must you?" Videl sighed.
"It brings me great joy." Piccolo replied simply, "Sides we need to get back and handle the other Temples. I'd like a month of peace from all this…at least…"
"...well we're in luck then," Roll spoke as she looked at her phone, "I just got a message from Bulma and the others. The next three temples are on Spagonia, Shamar, and Adabat."
"Alright, we'll go back and pick who goes where." Piccolo nodded, "Roll, save your idiot life partner, and lets get a move on."
"Hai," Roll nodded as she became a blur.
"Gohan we're leaving!" Piccolo called out.
"Just one second!" he shouted, messing with Khan's crown as he attached a small gem to the center, "There!" he walked over and put it on his head suddenly, "There, this shall prevent her from ever controlling you again, even if you lose focus." he sighed as Khan tapped the crown, "I also added a warning system should it notice a failure and she would use magic to get around it. In that scenario just tap the gem in the middle…and it will cause your cybernetics to lock up so you can't hurt anyone."
"Ahh…noted," Khan said before bowing his head a bit, "Still…thank you for your assistance…and giving us the upper hand against the Iron Dominion…"
"Think nothing of it." Gohan bowed, "We share this planet now. We need to help each other."
"Very true," Khan nodded, "Just know the next time you all are in Chuunan…you will be greeted by allies."
"Thank you," Gohan nodded, "I hope next time we meet, we can have a friendly spar as Martial Artists." he smiled, "Who knows, you might just force me to go Super if you follow Mr. Piccolo's teachings."
"Granted Cinder hasn't burned the training grounds to ashes!" Jian shouted as she and the rest of Dulcy's team chased after Sonic as they ran past.
"I regret many life choices!" Sonic called out, "Just kidding!"
"No Sonic though…" Gohan smirked to Khan.
"Hehehe…We may argue, but he always finds the greatest friends around somehow." Khan chuckled, "Till next we meet Son Gohan."
"Till then, Khan-san." Gohan smiled.
"I got saved!" Sonic called out as Roll dragged him into the Warp Ring.
"Come on Gohan, and you kids better not slack off, I'll know!" Piccolo shouted as Gohan and Videl went through the ring, "Hah…and stay safe till next time we meet." He smiled at them, "If things get bad…all you need to do is call for me…and I'll be there."
"Can do."
"I'm back!" Goku called, reappearing next to the group with Miyuki in tow, "Sorry…Tails' sister wanted to talk to her friend about something."
"Sorry for the delay, kyu," Miyuki sheepishly chuckled, "I had to ask her where my White-kyun is…turns out he's in Spagonia."
"Well you're in luck then, that's one of our next stops." Piccolo bluntly stated, "Get in the portal, details to follow."
"'Oh! Hai!" Miyuki nodded before jumping into the Warp Ring.
"Get over here Goku!" Piccolo growled, grabbing Goku by the ear and dragging him into the Warp Ring.
"Alright, since we have some locations…" Bulma began, "We can split into three teams to tackle them at once. It seems like Eggman may have calmed down or backed off in some areas from what we can tell."
"But that also sounds like a trap he's setting up." Sally spoke up, "We should choose the teams based on ability and power. We factored in the location likely to enter night time sooner and we should send Sonic there so he can use his new Werehog ability to fight off any threats, and if that takes too long he'll return to normal and deploy a different strategy."
"We can send some other teams to deal with the other two locations." Bulma added.
=We need at least one Strong fighter to deal with any Guardian of the Temples, and someone to be our diplomat to talk to locals for information. Other members can mostly be volunteers= Nicole offered.
"All sound plans," Sonic noted with a nod.
"Since we still need Chip to help reach the inner sanctum of the temples, one member of that team will need to use a Warp Ring-should Goku not be part of that team- to take him to the other," Sally explained.
"In short we need to set up the Temples to deal with each one right after another." Piccolo added, "We'll go at this a little slower, clear out each area and once we've claimed the temples and taken out any Guards that are trouble, we get in contact and finish up." he explained, "If one team is taking longer, then I guess the other teams can…explore to their leisure."
"So all that leaves is to make the teams," Gohan surmised as he held his chin in thought.
"So far Kakarot has been to almost all of them," Vegeta pointed out, "And so far each one has escalated because of his buffoonery."
"Wasn't me…" Goku defended.
"Moving on…" Sally spoke up as she got between the two, "While the three chosen teams are busy, Bulma and Nicole will be assisting Relic and Professor Pickle finding the last temple,"
"Sounds good." Sonic nodded, "Roll make sure you get all your stuff this time." he spoke up.
"Hai~" she smiled.
"So who goes where?" Amy asked.
"Oh oh! Me and Whisper can head to Spagonia!" Tangle spoke up as she held her hand up, "I always wanted to see if I can parkour off their roofs!"
"...know what? I think it's best I come with you to help lead things," Sally muttered.
"Sally?" Amy blinked.
"It's been a while since I've been on an adventure since our worlds fused," Sally explained, "So I figured I can step out for a bit of fresh air."
"Ahh…"
"..ooh~!" Tangle gasped, using her tail to drag Videl, Miyuki and 18 over, "Why don't we make Spagonia an all girls mission?!"
"I feel like you will be a very troublesome one…" Piccolo sighed.
"Hence why me and Whisper will make sure she stays focused," Sally stated.
"I need to head to Spagonia anyway, so I don't mind coming along to help, kyu," Miyuki shrugged a bit.
"I guess I'll keep them from dying." 18 shrugged, "Sure, I dusted off the asskicking sneakers again anyway. Krillin! I'm keeping the kids from dying a horrible death to stupidity!"
"Kay, try not to cause too much property damage!" Krillin called out from another room.
"It was one time…" she shrugged off.
"Well it sounds like fun, too bad Roll can't join us without dragging along Sonic." Videl smiled.
"Yeah the distance thing is getting better…but it has some…annoying limitations…" Sonic muttered.
"He still is trying to make Guy Night a thing…" Gohan sighed.
"It will happen!" Sonic declared.
"Nicole, see if you can get a hold of Vector and the Chaotix," Sally looked over at the AI, "Them and a small team can handle Shamar while Sonic's team handles Adabat."
=Understood= Nicole nodded.
"Chaotix, huh?" Sonic grinned, "Been wondering where those guys have been."
"Last we heard from them according to Knuckles, they went undercover for something before the current situation," Amy explained.
"Hmm…well I guess we should go get them." Bulma noted, "It be best if we had them around…Vegeta, can you and Shadow go?"
"Sure." Vegeta nodded.
"Sounds like fun." Shadow smirked.
"Oh they are gonna mentally traumatized folks aren't they?" Amy asked.
"Oh most definitely/Oh yeah/Without question/Those poor souls/Try to show some mercy…" many sighed all at once.
"I promise…to try." Vegeta smirked.
"We'll try to leave as many few broken bones as possible," Shadow added.
"Good enough…" Bulma and Sally sighed.
"Which leaves just me, Roll, and whoever else will be joining us," Sonic commented.
"That's right…" Bulma muttered.
"Your sending the most responsible people with me aren't you…?" Sonic guessed.
"Oh big time." Bulma replied.
"So…not me?" Goku blinked.
"Oh no…you are far too much trouble to leave you two on one team." Bulma sighed, "Instead you will stick with Chip and teleport him to any temples that need him."
"Got it."
"Well what about Tien?" Krillin suggested as he walked in, "He could probably help….granted if we can find out where he lives."
"That is a good point. But who knows where he lives now?" Bulma asked.
"Master Roshi…" Goku and Krillin spoke.
"No." Bulma and 18 countered.
"But…"
"No," Bulma, 18, Videl, and Amy frowned in unison.
"He is the only one that knows…" Piccolo argued, "Nothing lost from one of these two calling and asking."
"...ugh…fine," Bulma groaned, "Just hope he's not doing anything…Roshi…"

"Back! Back you beasts!" Roshi snapped, smacking a few Dark Gaia creatures on the head as they attempted to flee from him into the ocean, "You get off my island! Dang Elder God abominations, always sneaking onto my land…" he grumbled.
"Phone for you~" Turtle called.
"I'm coming, I'm coming!" Roshi called out, rushing in as he picked up the phone, "Kame House! This is Roshi…I have no pants on."

"Krillin!? Oh now you check on your master after the world has gone to shit! I know Goku is out there fixing things, where have you been?" Roshi complained with a chuckle, "Ah I'm just kidding, I'm doing fine! Just a bunch of weird things chomping on my house!"
=Yeah we had a feeling= Krillin muttered =But question…you happen to know where Tien is, right?=
"'Course I know. He keeps inviting me over, its my one place to go…since I ain't welcome in any of your houses!"
=You know why…I have a wife and daughter…and she is very specific that you are not allowed ten miles near our apartment=
"...Fair enough," Roshi muttered.
=Anyways…we were hoping for his help. Long story short, we're locating these temples to help restore the planet and we need someone responsible to look after Sonic and Roll in Adabat=
"So you want Tien to babysit him…sure I'll send you the location of his school."

"Yeah he opened up an entire martial arts academy down there, shame it's all men though…"

"Yeah yeah…just save the world already! I'm tired of fighting little monsters!"

"Noted," Krillin nodded as he put his phone away, "Okay good news...Roshi's sending us to where Tien is…and apparently he opened a martial arts academy."
"Well that sounds like him." Bulma nodded, "But still that should help us. His place can serve as a rest stop for the team."
"Good idea," Sally nodded, "And if you encounter any Freedom Fighters in the area, let us know. We can use their help as well in fending off any more of Eggman's forces, and Dark Gaia's creatures."
"Got it, extra work." Sonic gave a thumbs up.
"Me and Gohan will go with Sonic and Roll, I'll find Tien and catch him up while the kids gather information. They seem sociable enough to do that." Piccolo sighed.
"Alright we got a plan." Bulma smiled.
"Let's gather up what supplies we can, then our respective teams head out," Sally added.
"Gotcha/understood/kay."
"Nicole the moment you and the others find the last Gaia Temple..let us know," Sally stated.

"Perfect, then let…"
"Woah!" everyone turned to see Trunks and Goten collapsed on the floor, "Ow…"
"...no," Bulma immediately stated.
"Aww come on mom!" Trunks complained as he and Goten got up, "Everyone else is helping to protect our world, and we were holding out fine on our own with Haseo and Whisper!"
"That's because Whisper is technically older than you and made sure you'd stay safe," Bulma countered
"To be fair…she just pointed and told us where to blast mostly…" Goten spoke.
"..it is true," Whisper admitted with a slight blush.
"Regardless, things are starting to get dangerous out there," Bulma stated to the kids
"Oh come on! We fought Majin Buu!" Trunks argued.
"And lost…" Goten admitted to the others.
"That was literally our last shot with both your Dads at the moment gone." Bulma sighed.
"...true…but still…"
"You'd be helping here at home," Sally spoke up as she approached the two, "Besides…" she looked around before whispering to the two, "We have a big task for you…"
"Eh?"
"There's a possibility a spy may infiltrate us, and we need someone to keep an eye out for anything suspicious," Sally quietly explained, motioning Bulma to come over to help her, "And according to Whisper…what's problematic about this spy is they can change their appearance, so they could look like any one of us."
"Ah! Like that movie with the monster that copies how people look!" Goten beamed.
"Oh! I really hope the spy tries to eat us! We can blast them to pieces if they're that stupid!" Trunks beamed.
"...When did you two watch The Thing?" Bulma frowned.
"The important thing is Haseo was not there." Goten argued.
"Eh?" said Fox asked as he poked his head up from the table nearby, surrounded in origami paper with most already folded up into animals...mostly paper cranes.
"The movie I told you you wouldn't like." Goten explained, "Eh…wasn't that great…after fighting a Bubblegum demon…"
"We are talking about this later," Bulma stated, "With Chichi."
"Aw man~!" The duo whined.
"Point is…we need you to keep an eye out for this spy," Sally explained, "If you see anyone acting odd or funny…let us know immediately."
"...but if they try to attack us…?" Trunks asked.
"You have the right to defend yourself," Sally replied...before holding a finger up, "And make sure they stay conscious so we can figure out what they were after."
"...That's probably the best we're gonna get, huh?" Trunks asked with a sigh.
"Well...at least we wouldn't be sitting around doing nothing," Goten pointed out, "Bet you I find him first."
"Nuh-uh!" Trunks complained.
"Yeah-huh!" Goten argued as they ran off.
"...not bad," Bulma smiled a bit once the two were out of hearing range, "But how…"
"I helped raise Tails when he was younger, and helped lead the Freedom Fighters when we were just starting out," Sally explained, "Someone has to be the mature one, yet also make sure they feel like they're still helping."
"Thanks Sally." Bulma smiled, "It's no wonder you are so good at all this. You had to be not just their leader…you had to be their mom at times."
"Hmm…" Vegeta nodded, "Well we can't trust everything to a child, you need your time to grow." he spoke as they looked at him, "Leave some of the nonsense to us. We've handled it all somehow before, we can take care of most of this nonsense from now on." he crossed his arms and turned away.
"And we're really lucky to have you all," Sally admitted with a sigh, 'I just pray…nothing bad happens…'
The Darkness within the exposed core trembled as more of its essence returned to it. With…memories…and…scars so to speak. It felt it before…someone drew on the planet's energy…Its…energy. The energy of this planet itself and therefore itself to hurt its own extensions and its avatars. The beings it bonded with as its Heralds of its soon to be brought awakening. Something…was…using its energy. A creature…a being…whatever it was it left its mark on this world many times. The Dark Gaia could feel it…the memories of this…being who was not born of it, who came from beyond the stars…who could one day…draw on the powers of the very planet…used it many…Many…times as his own. This being…it was more than just chaos or power…it had the nerve to take Its power to fight it.
Eyes opened within the darkness as a shape moved across the core of the planet…it was massive…dark like a spot of darkness within the molten glow. It moved towards the being it felt. The dangerous one…the many dangerous ones…but the one most of all which dared to steal the planet's own energy. That was the one…which was a threat most of all. And it was closest of all…to the Light. It Must be destroyed.
"?!" Goku tensed up a bit, suddenly feeling a massive killing intent...aimed right towards him, "...guys?" he spoke up, earning the others' attention just as Piccolo set up 3 Warp Rings for the three Groups to use, "You may want to leave…and get to safety as fast as possible."
"Goku?" Krillin blinked.
"I…feel something…big…" he explained.
"Big?" Sonic asked.
"It's…like the planet's energy…" Goku explained.
"You can sense the ki of the planet?" Piccolo asked.
"Sonic, move everyone now!" Goku ordered.
"Right!" he called out, dashing at his max speed as he made multiple trips into the Warp Ring portals before skidding to a stop, "That's everyone!"
"Go!" Goku called out as the ground began rumbling violently.
"Ahh! Gotcha!" Sonic nodded as he ran into a Warp Ring just as all three closed.
Goku tensed as the ground suddenly exploded as something tore its way through the earth beneath. He grunted as what seemed to be a horn caught him and slammed him into a wall before dragging him through the layers of this base and outside. He grunted, suddenly outside before being flung back and left to slam into the ground.
He grunted and looked up as the figure looked down at him, he gasped in surprise seeing a long serpentine like beast, it had a very stroud reptilian face with giant fangs which pushed past its lips if any, two giant horns framing either side…with the teeth continuing out from its jaw and along the horns, which actually seemed to open like extensions of one giant maw. Dark purple armored scales dreamed its sides and base of its skull and trailed down just a bit. Dark blue spikes jutted from behind and over its horns as a mass of purple flames formed atop its head, its long thin arms stomped the ground as it looked down at Goku. It roared before swinging down to try and slam into him again.
A gold flash went off as Goku stopped the attack from hitting him, already in Super Saiyan form as he pushed the monster back. Goku grunted before kicking his leg, sending its head rocketing back up. He pressed on as he began punching it repeatedly making it stagger back. But before he could press on dark tendrils extended from the back of its head and slammed into him knocking him away. The monster roared as sent the tendrils after Goku who quickly flew up and out of their way. He roared before unleashing a barrage of ki blasts which pelted the monster that was Dark Gaia.
However, the ki blasts did little to no effect to the dark god as it did a loud roar, causing the area to rumble as Goku was sent flying back from the force of it. Goku grunted as the Dark Gaia monster roared and lunged at him again. The two clashed as Goku pushed the monster up, pushing against its jaw and slamming its head into the ground. Goku grunted when the Dark Gaia blasted a beam of dark energy from its jaw, sending him flying away.
The beam suddenly dispersed in a flash of light as Goku roared while ascending to Super Saiyan 2. He shot down and slammed a punch to Dark Gaia, slamming it into the ground. He swung his second hand and slammed it into Dark Gaia before unleashing a barrage of punches that slammed it deeper and deeper into the ground before slamming both hands down…causing the ground to fracture and crack before sinking Dark Gaia down into the ground.
Dark Gaia's eyes snapped open as the glowed brightly for a moment, the dark god roaring out as bits of darkness and dark-purple energy began to seep through the cracks in the ground, making Goku tense before he was caught up in a large explosion of darkness, the Saiyan being sent flying through the air as he crashed through a few rock structures that had formed during the fight.
'Gh….this thing….it's nothing like Hirudigarn at all…' Goku thought, grunting as he forced himself up out of the rubble as he glared at the hulking behemoth before him, 'This thing…it must've sensed me drawing the planet's energy earlier….meaning…' his eyes began to narrow a bit as his aura flashed, 'This is Dark Gaia…the very embodiment of the planet's darkness.'
Goku shouted as he flew and clashed with Dark Gaia, causing the skys to begin to darken from their fight. Goku roared as he punched Dark Gaia around before flying around and slamming it from the top making it growl in pain. Dark Gaia roared, lifting its head as its long jaw, which extended to its horns, opened…the inside of its mouth pulsating before multiple giant glowing eyes opened. Goku flinched as each eye unleashed a powerful beam of dark energy which pelted him.
"Kaa…Mee…Haa…Mee…HAAAA!" at that a massive beam of blue light tore through the beams and slammed into Dark Gaia, causing a huge explosion. The smoke slowly began to settle…until a slight cracking sound could be heard as Goku tense up. Soon, a massive glowing eye was staring straight at him, the smoke settling to reveal that Dark Gaia had further extended its jaw to show it as the beast's many eyes stared at Goku.
Energy began to build up in each eye as darkness began to flow off the main one, all of them aimed directly at Goku before Dark Gaia fired off a beam of darkness from each eye, all of them beginning to meld into one another until they were absorbed into the massive beam of darkness coming straight at Goku.
"!" Goku's eyes widened as the beam struck, causing a massive explosion.
Dark Gaia stopped the beam as smoke filled the sky. It's eyes widened as the smoke suddenly cleared away.
"HHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Goku roared as a massive flash of energy shook the ground and sky itself while causing the clouds to suddenly part. Goku became Super Saiyan 3 as he looked down and glared at Dark Gaia, "My turn…"
With that Goku flew down and slammed into Dark Gaia, causing him to slam into the ground. The giant monster flipped around, only to be struck by a blur of golden speed before looping around and kicking Dark Gaia, sending it skidding across the ground before slamming into some rocks. It moved to get up before Goku landed a punch to Dark Gaia's jaw, knocking it up and swinging back before slamming into the ground.
Dark Gaia let out a snarling screech as he shot up, slamming its hands into the ground as tentacles of darkness and multiple Dark Gaia creatures shot up out of the cracks and headed straight for Goku, only to be completely incinerated by a flash of light as the embodiment of the planet's darkness reeled back a bit. This being…this man was truly powerful…no. If anything, it was a beast all on its own. It was nothing like fighting Light Gaia all those years ago…
"Kaa…Mee…HAA…MEE…HA!" Goku roared, charging up a massive ball of ki before shooting it out and splitting the ground in its path before striking into Dark Gaia and pushing it away along the ground and leaving a massive burn along its abdomen and chin.
Dark Gaia grunted as it struggled to get back up. Goku sighed as he powered down back to Super Saiyan to conserve energy. He then blinked as multiple of the creatures began crawling out…and towards Dark Gaia. He blinked as the beast was soon covered in its own monsters as they began…obscuring something happening to Dark Gaia's body.
"What the?" Goku blinked.
"Okay…so…we were in one place…" Chi-Chi began.
"Did Sonic really try and send people according to the teams we set up?" Bulma groaned.
"It's Sonic…" Sally sighed, holding Nicole's portable form.
"At least he was able to get us into the Professor's university," Relic muttered, looking around a bit at how…dirty and messed up the place looked, "But the fact it looked raided…worries me."
"...Mimic," Whisper spoke, a frown on her face as she held up a damaged book, letting her mask examine it, "He was certainly here…"
"Well…I wasn't as worried before…but I am kinda worried now." Amy muttered, "First Goku gets spooked and has Sonic run us all out, and now an evil assassin is potentially in the area." she looked around, "And us without any Super Saiyans…"
"The kids!" Chi-Chi and Bulma panicked, seeing their sons not here.
=?! ...Sally….where's Haseo?= Nicole cautiously asked.
"...oh no…" Sally groaned in realization.
"Pfft! Ack ack….stupid sand…!" Trunks gagged as he, Goten, and Haseo pulled themselves out of a sand dune.
"Oh no…" Goten noted as he is the one who pulled Haseo out and gently dusted sand off of him, "Uhm…I don't see my Mom, your Mom, or Trunks's Mom…we are without Moms…We are so in trouble!"
"...Ahh….Kaa-san is gonna be worried…" Haseo realized…before he began to tremble a bit as his black tail floofed up, "!?"
"Haseo, wh-"
"YEEHAW~!" a loud voice laughed as the trio turned, seeing what looked like a set of SUVs driving off a sand dune as they began to circle around the three.
"Oh now what…" Trunks sighed as Haseo wrapped his towel around his head for cover from the heat, shielding from the sunlight, and a makeshift mask from the sand.
"I think we're about to get attacked." Goten spoke simply, "...Attack mode?" He looked to Haseo.
"?!" Haseo quickly ducked underneath a net aimed at him, "...They're trying to take us…..h-hai! A-attack mode please!"
"Goten! Attack Mode Activate!" he shouted, shooting a Ki blast at one of the SUVs and sending them flying back and flipping through the air, "Sorry…but Attack Mode can't be stopped except by Angry Moms!"
"Ah think two of them kids are those Saiyans we heard about…" one of the men, a Mobian coyote, groaned from underneath the SUV.
"What?!...The boss will want t' sell 'em for a high price!" a human man shouted as he and a few others aimed their net guns and blasters at the trio, "Don't let 'em escape!"
"Yeah no," Trunks bluntly said, instantly before the man before he backhanded him into a sand dune.
"Kame…hame…ha!" Goten roared, blasting the Son family's now iconic Turtle School technique as he blasted at the dunes and sent their SUVs into the air and let them fall into the sand, "Hm?" he blinked as several nets hit him, "Hey…it's like a blanket…which pokes…"
"Goten! Stop goofing around!" Trunks spoke, kicking an adult man in the groin, making him cry in pain, "Okay buddy…where are we?" he shouted, slapping him before he could answer, "Talk!" he shouted, doing his…best imitation of his Father.
"Hey look! No hands!" Goten laughed slamming head first into…and through an SUV, ripping out its engine, "Sorry, not sorry!" he spoke, kicking it and sending it slamming into several men, "I'm like…allowed to hit you right? You are bad guys?" he then ripped off the nets before grabbing one Mobian by the tail, "Hey hey…no aiming at my best buddy." He spoke, spinning him around by the tail…and tossing him into the distance, "Oh…Oh…uh…Sorry!" he called out…still…holding the tail…sans Mobian. He then cringed and dropped it, "That was an accident…" he turned to Haseo.
"...ano…I think I know where we might be," Haseo muttered, pulling out a small map from his white tail, "Eto…sand…oh! We're in Shamar!"
"...wait. That's where Dad and Shadow were going!" Trunks realized.
"Why'd Sonic send us here?" Goten asked as he ignored one of the men smacking him with a rifle only for it to shatter on impact, "Ow…" he spoke, punching him in the stomach and making him double over, "Hmm…Sonic did say check bad guys for stuff…" he grunted, grabbing the man by his pant legs…and taking the pants off followed by the rest of his stuff, "This is mine now." he stated as the man ran away.
"..." Trunks walked up to the last SUV before ripping the door off, "...Mine…" he said simply.
"Why…?" Haseo began with a sigh…only to yelp when a pair of eyes suddenly appeared before him, "Ahh!"
"Wait," a voice spoke as the eyes' owner began to become visible, revealing them to be a purple Mobian chameleon, "Do not be alarmed…I am here to help."
"I got all their pants…" Goten spoke, walking over, "They didn't have much…just these…broken guns…" he then held up a radio, "I did find this." he looked at the chameleon, "Who's your buddy?" he asked Haseo.
"I…I don't know, demo…" Haseo paused, looking at his tails as his white one wagged a bit, "...he's a good person." Goten gave a simple thumbs up.
"You…are not normal kids," he chuckled, "I think Knuckles mentioned something about…really strong kids belonging to aliens?"
"That's us!" Goten smiled, "I'm Son Goten! My dad is Son Goku, the strongest in the world!"
"I'm Trunks, son of Vegeta, prince of all Saiyans and best dad ever!" Trunks declared, now holding onto a stack of SUV doors, "...wait. You know Knuckles?..." he asked as he put the doors down, "...are you one of those Chaotix guys we overheard about?"
"I am," he nodded as he began to walk, "Stay with me…I can lead you to where the Local Freedom Fighters' base is…"
"Roger!" Goten spoke as he walked after him.
"I'm coming back for those cars…" Trunks simply spoke before tossing one of the doors to the last man who tried to crawl away.
"...H-Haseo. Sakurai Haseo," Haseo spoke as he caught up with the chameleon, "Th-thank you for finding us."
"You are lucky I did," the chameleon stated before his eyes narrowed, "The Sand Blasters wouldn't hesitate in capturing you…and attempt to sell you in the black market."
"Eh?" the kiddy trio blinked at that.
"I can explain it better once we're at the base."
"Oh…h-hai," Haseo nodded.
"What did you do?!" Piccolo roared, trying to throttle Sonic.
"I panicked, okay?!" Sonic yelped as he ran past Gohan, Krillin, Rotor, and Roll as Piccolo gave chase.
"I should break your legs and beat your blue ass with them!" Piccolo roared.
"I'm just glad Marron is with her Mom…I do not want her seeing this." Krillin sighed.
"Help!" Sonic panicked.
"Help him and die!" Piccolo warned.
"No thank you. I am good," Kirllin instantly held his hands up at that.
"Same," Rotor added before taking notice of their surroundings, "...are we…at a temple?"
"Huh?" Sonic blinked as he and Piccolo came to a stop, letting them take notice as they were standing in what appeared to be a large temple within the mountains.
"...Sonic…."
"I swear this Ring was set for Adabat," Sonic muttered, "Besides…you were the one who set it up."
"GH! You…!"
"Well…" the group turned, seeing Tien walking down the steps as he wore dark-green and yellow robes, "This is a surprise I wasn't expecting…"
"...heh heh. Look at that…" Sonic sheepishly chuckled, "We ended up at Tien's school…"
"..." Piccolo's simple response to that…was to smack Sonic upside the head.
"D'oh! Okay…I had that coming…"
"Tien-san!" Gohan called out, "We're so happy to have found you."
"I take it something crazy has happened again, in relation to the shaking and etc?" he smiled.
"Hai," Gohan nodded.
"World is doomed…again." Krillin sighed.
"When isn't it?" Tien quipped before noticing Chip poking out of Roll's tail, "?"
"That's Chip. We technically need him to activate certain temples," Rotor explained, "Oh and I'm Rotor…a pleasure."
"Temple?" Tien repeated, "...you refer to the Gaia Temples correct?"
"You know about them?" Gohan blinked.
"The previous caretaker of the temple informed me about it and left me the key to open it," Tien explained before looking at Piccolo with a serious look, "And considering you're looking for them…you're here to prevent Dark Gaia from fully awakening."
"Correct," Piccolo responded, "Though I can only assume what that means, since something attacked our old little set up."
"...did Goku perform the Spirit Bomb at any point since this whole thing started?" Tien asked.
"...yes…" Gohan meekly admitted.
"...Dark Gaia considers him a threat," Tien replied with a frown, "Come on….I'll try to explain the best I can inside."
"It's that bad, huh…?" Chip asked, unaware of the gem on his collar beginning to glow a bit as the group began to follow him into the temple.
"Light and Dark Gaia are not just the living embodiments of the planet's light and darkness…they're part of the planet itself," Tien explained, "Despite the intent Goku had…Dark Gaia felt he stole a part of him…and that angered him."
"So that's why Goku-san told us to run…" Roll realized.
"He must've realized Dark Gaia was coming for him," Rotor added.
"So Goku now has an ancient god of darkness coming after him," Krillin surmised, "Well I wish I could say that was new…but it sounds par the course for Goku…"
"Very true," Tien nodded as the group approached a tapestry, showing an image of Dark Gaia's beastly form and an equally large figure engulfed in pure light, "If Light Gaia was awake, Dark Gaia wouldn't have started this attack…"
"And right now we're hoping by activating the temples, it'll wake him up," Sonic stated.
"And you want me to help you find the temple here in Adabat, correct?" Tien questioned, earning a nod from the group, "...I apologize, but I can't come with you."
"Huh?"
"What do you mean you can't come!?" Krillin asked.
"My students," Tien explained, "I need to make sure they and the temple are safe…but also the people living near the water."
"But…"
"Master!" Tien looked to the side to see a young man in a training outfit running up to him, "We've got trouble…there's something big going through the jungle leading to the Gaia Temple."
"?! What?" Tien whispered with wide eyes…before his eyes narrowed, "Did you see what it looked like?"
"It looked like a giant…robotic stag beetle."
"...Eggman," Sonic and his group groaned upon hearing them.
"Him again…" Tien frowned
"Well we're here, it's where we need to go…let's dive headfirst into danger…again," Krillin sighed.
"I guess circumstances have changed." Tien sighed.
"Let's go!" Sonic cheered.
"...y…yeah…" Chip muttered, his eyes focused on the tapestry before him as he eyed the figure engulfed in light, 'Why does that…seem…familiar…?'
"...Chip?" Roll spoke
"Huh…oh, sorry. Just got lost in thought." he shook his head.
"...okay…" Roll whispered, 'Did...he remember something?'

"Ugh….they're not here either," Sally sighed as she and those in her team were looking around the streets of Spagonia for the kiddy trio.
"Sonic must've sent the kids somewhere else," Amy guessed as she stepped out of a nearby store, "I just asked the people working here and they didn'' see any sign of them."
"Oh come on, how much trouble can two little Saiyan kids and one normal Mobian kid get into?" Tangle argued, "They're probably just worried and freaked out."
"Hey Trunks, look!" Goten called out as he floated down with Haseo, "We made their cars…into a super fighting robot!" He pointed to a robot-like figure made of SUV's that had been bent, broken and melted together, "Haseo's skills to guide my strong hands and we made origami…out of metal~"
"You kept one, right?" Trunks frowned.
"...Okay, now don't get mad…"
"Goten!"
"We can fly!" Goten argued.
"Gah!"
"Well it's not so much we worried they are scared…" Amy muttered.
"Except Haseo…" Sally argued.
"Right but he's a sweet regular child…Goten and Trunks are…well…" Amy lingered.
"Walking adorable weapons of mass destruction." Whisper offered.
"That…" Amy and Sally agreed.
"Least Sonic was able to leave Marron with us," Videl muttered as she and 18 flew down from a nearby rooftop.
"Think Kami Roll's mother agreed to look after her for me," 18 muttered, "...also…still can't get over Yamcha having two girls all over him like that…"
"True..but least he can enjoy some time with them as they tour the rest of Spagonia," Amy nodded.
"Well at least he can stop talking about how he's single." 18 mused, "But I guess we can only hope whoever finds the kids they call in fast. And that Goten seems to have become Haseo's bodyguard."
"To be fair…given his powers…he does a better job at the moment than most of Haseo's family…" Amy added.
"True."

"Signals?" Sally repeated as the rest of her team leaned in a bit.
=Yes…Eggman's forces are nearby=
"Cause of course they are…" Sally sighed.
=It seems they're trying to locate the Gaia Temple here, and have a few people from the school held hostage to help decipher something= Nicole continued just as Miyuki walked around a corner =Including a white hedgehog that won't comply with them=
"?!" Miyuki tensed up upon hearing that, "...white….hedgehog?" her eyes then narrowed a bit as she looked over at Nicole's handheld, "Where?"

"Oh that sounds like a parkourer's dream come true," Tangle whispered in slight glee before shivering a bit, "H-hey…did it just get cold out here?"
"They have him…" Miyuki growled a bit, ice beginning to form underneath her feet as her tails began to flick a bit in anger, "They have my White-kyun…"
"I feel like we're also in danger." Tangle muttered as 18 moved her back a bit.
"Girl's in love. You'd be surprised by the changes they cause." 18 patted Tangle's head, "Come on, we have to save her goober."
"Agreed," Sally nodded as she quickly put Nicole away, "Videl, you, Miyuki, Tangle and Whisper will handle freeing the hostages. Amy, you're with me and 18. If Eggman's forces are here…and considering how Professor Pickle's office was raided, chances are Mimic might've handed more than just information on both Light and Dark Gaia to Eggman."
"Meaning whatever Grand Master is here has the key to open it," Amy added, seeing where Sally was heading with this.
"Exactly."
"Well…we can always ask them after we humiliate them." 18 offered, "I'm sure it won't be too hard to get them to talk. It will just take a few dislocated shoulders…maybe a broken arm…or two." she smirked, "But only if they are exceptionally annoying."
"It always tends to be that way," Amy added with a sigh.
"Ooh…goodie~" 18 smirked.
"I'm pretty sure 18 alone will scare most of Eggman's goons into quitting." Amy looked at Sally.
"Agreed," Sally nodded a bit.
"So you went out for recon…and found three kids…two of which are part alien with built in Super modes." Vector the Crocodile, a tall Mobian wearing a gold chain and headphones, asked to Espio upon his return.
"They wiped out an entire team of Sand Blasters…as if it were a game." he argued.
"Which after the freaky powers Knuckles has been showing us…don't seem so weird these days." he admitted.
"I think it's cool!" Charmy, a young Mobian Bee wearing an aviator helmet beamed from a nearby couch, "...Still want him to teach me how to shoot laser beams too…"
"We'll…cover that later." Vector sighed, "Well weird to be happy kids are helping but I can't deny their power…it be a bit of a help."
"Though they are…a handful." Espio added.
"Trunks broke it!" Gotan shouted.
"No I didn't shut up!"
"Ow!" Goten complained.
"OW!" Trunks shouted, "Why'd you hit me!?"
"You hit me first!" Goten argued.
"P-please stop," Haseo begged as he got between the two, "We still need to find Shadow-san and Vegeta-san…h-hopefully they've found the Gaia Temple by now."
"...um…about that…" Vector muttered, earning a look form the three kids, "Turns out…the Dark Legion and Sandblasters are fighting for control of it."
"That doesn't sound good…" Goten muttered.
"It's not," Espio frowned.
"Who're the Sandblasters anyway?" Trunks added.
"People who call themselves 'Freedom Fighters,'" a new voice spoke, earning the kids attention as a Mobian Porcupine with orange and black fur, a black neckerchief around his neck, and a pair of tinted goggles above his eyes spoke as he walked into the room.
"That's Spike, Leader of the Desert Raiders, the local Freedom Fighter group here," Charmy explained to the trio, "They really don't like the Sandblasters."
"We really don't…" Spike frowned, "They're making a mockery of the name Sonic the hedgehog and his team made for the people of Mobius…"
"...but what does that…?" Trunks began.
"They capture, enslave and sell Robians and Mobians with robotic parts on them," Espio explained with a scowl, "They proclaim they have the right who deserves freedom…and who doesn't."
"We were undercover and infiltrated their group for a while to help Mighty and Ray with something important," Vector added, "We barely got out in time when the Grand Master of the Shamar Dark Legion raided their base, so now they're trying to take the temple as a new base…"
"And raid any treasures in there," Charmy added.
"So basic bad guys from a cartoon?" Goten asked.
"No…nothing like that," Spike shook his head with a sigh, a pained look starting ot form in his eyes, "They'll kill anyone who doesn't' agree with them…our original Leader, Nephtys tried to talk them out of it…we never saw her again since."
"...oh no…" Haseo whispered in realization, "How horrible…"
"We lost so many Freedom Fighters to the Sand Blasters when we tried to raid any of the Dark Legions convoys," Spike continued, his fist balling up for a bit before he took a deep breath, "Before we encountered Vector and the Chaotix…it was just me, Sonar and Trevor."
"I know its hard Spike, but they are children," Espio put a hand on his shoulder, "But we are here to help. And should have some backup."
"Can we help?" Trunks asked, "Yeah we're kids…but we're really strong." he motioned to Goten lifting a giant crate full of supplies with one hand, "Also this." he pointed to himself as he went Super Saiyan.
"Woah!" Spike yelped in surprise, "...you're a Saiyan aren't you?"
"Yup!"
"Half…" Goten corrected.
"Hey we can go Super Saiyan, that has to count for something!" Trunks argued.
"They can also gattai…" Haseo muttered.
"Wha?" Vector and Spike blinked.
"They can combine." Espio explained.
"We know Fusion!" Trunks smiled.
"It's a technique where two people do a stance and then they become one super warrior." Goten added. Haseo shook his head rapidly from behind the two as if to imply 'don't ask for proof'.
"And one of your dads is here with Shadow right?" Vector asked.
"Yeah my dad, Vegeta!" Trunks smiled.
"You mean the one Knuckles told us was an ego driven former villain that will likely murder anyone who upsets him?" Espio whispered to Vector and Spike.
"I see the good and bad of this…" Vector muttered, "But well…these kids…are probably way stronger than most of us."
"...I honestly feel bad for doing this, but…" Spike began as he got down to one knee to look at them, "We need as much help we can get…so congrats, kids. You're temporary members of the Sand Raiders."
"Woohoo!" Trunks cheered.
"...We never tell our Moms…" Goten whispered as he turned to Haseo, "Mostly because mine will likely kill me…and everyone else…yours too if she finds out I let it happen…"
"H-hai…" Haseo nodded in agreement.
"I wonder where Dad is…" Trunks muttered.
"Where the hell is this place!?" Vegeta shouted, him and Shadow standing in the middle of a destroyed base.
"By the looks of it…" Shadow paused, stepping up to some rubble as he moved it…and saw the remains of a blaster, "...Sand Blasters."
"Who?"
"A group of extremists who proclaim to be Freedom Fighters," Shadow replied as he looked back at him, "GUN has been keeping an eye on them since they started dealing in the black market."
"Oh…perfect, we have to deal with lunatics who sell unknown things to total idiots and assholes…" Vegeta sighed, "...Exactly what kind of things?" he asked.
"Robians…Mobians with robotic parts on them…" Shadow listed with a scowl, "They keep them as slaves…or sell them to the highest bidder."
"..."
"And according to some recent reports…they started selling mixed-breed Mobians and humans, calling them 'stains on Mobius that don't deserve freedom at all.'"
"Ah…yes…murder is the only option." Vegeta said slowly, "Ironically I think I have yet to kill a Mobian…well I'm already going to hell…might as well make it worth it." he then paused, "Is that my son? Is that my son here?! I'm gonna fucking kill that little blue bastard!"
"Ah!" Sonic yelped, "I feel like I was threatened…by Vegeta…"
"...you ended up sending Trunks and the kids to the same place he's at, didn't you?" Rotor deadpanned.
"I'm starting to realize that yeah…"
"He's gonna rip you apart…with a butter knife." Krillin stated bluntly.
"A rusty…butter knife…" Piccolo added.
"You might find this hard to believe but Vegeta loves his kid." Krillin spoke, "Like suicidal fight a monster that can wipe out the galaxy for revenge love."
"Also if he doesn't…Bulma and Chi-Chi will…also maybe Aphrodite." Piccolo listed out.
"I may join if Haseo-chan is hurt," Roll admitted.
"...you're gonna get yourself killed one day…" Krillin looked at Sonic, "And that is amazing given how many times I have died."
"Okay I was in a rush, mistakes were made." he argued, "I at least put most of the non fighting people into one portal. Sides Goten is with Haseo, he always protects the little guy."
"Yeah but thats only as long as Haseo can act as Goten's brain to guide him…those two together, no worries. Goten and Trunks…nothing but trouble." Piccolo added, "I doubt even a good kid like Haseo has the ability to control their fused form."
"...no you're probably right…" Sonic muttered, recalling how…cocky Gotenks was.
"Don't worry. Haseo-chan has a special defense for dangerous situations only Sakurai boys under 13 can deploy," Roll noted.
"Hm?"
"See the thing is, I know Haseo can handle himself better than the average child…but I worry who he's with…so this better be an amazing thing." Piccolo sighed in an almost atypical parental concern.
"It is."
=Come on, you idiots!= a deep female voice spoke as a large robotic suit with Eggman's symbol on it ordered around a few Legionnaires =Lord Eggman is counting on us ot find that temple, and that stupid copycat octopus didn't steal that key for nothing!=
"But..what about the hostages, boss?" one asked.
=Don't call me that! Call me Mistress Thunderbolt you peons!= the suit snapped, teh figure within the glass dome jumping up and down on it for a moment =As for those hostages…we still need them to decipher where that stupid temple is…anythign on that white hedgehog with the eyepatch?=
"No…he just…refuses to talk."
=Well get him! I do not wanna disappoint Lord Eggman= Thunderbolt snapped as she began to stomp off =I need to report to him anyway…don't do anything stupid or else…=
"But…"
=OR ELSE!= she snapped as electricity crackled off her.
"AHH!" he yelped as he ran off.
=I thought so…= Thunderbolt huffed as she walked off…unaware of Videl's group poking out from a nearby rooftop.
"Yeesh…what a B-word," Tangle muttered quietly.
"What's with the evil refigerator suit?" Videl asked currently floating so as to not make any noise, "But we know they aren't gonna hurt anyone, they need them. But that just means we need to save them first. So we are on a tiny bit of a clock."
"Hai…so we need to be silent as possible, kyu," Miyuki whispered before looking over at Whisper, who had her mask on as she looked around the area, "Anything?"
"...heat signatures," Whisper replied, using her weapon to point at a nearby clocktower, "In there…"
"We can sneak around," Videl offered, "I can fly us up to the top and we can sneak our way in from above."
"Nobody ever looks up…" Tangle nodded.
"Strike fast and hard, and boom, the hostages saved." Videl added holding a fist up for Tangle to bump.
"Good idea, kyu," Miyuki nodded, her tails folding up into one another to make it appear as if she had one tail, "Then let's hurry…the faster we get the hostages free, the sooner Sally-hime and her team can deal with the Grand Master here, kyu…"
"I'm not worried. Videl can fly, you and Whisper are practically ninja's and I can climb anything. Plus goons like this don't ever predict this stuff." Tangle spoke, "Also before you say I jinxed it…that guy is holding a brook like a rifle…and that one's pants just fell…"
"She has a point…they are pretty dumb." Videl agreed.
"...which probably means Eggman stuck this Grand Master with the duds," Tangle muttered, "...makes it easier for us kinda."
"Just remember to be silent," Miyuki whispered as she and Whisper began to walk off, "If any of you are spotted however…you have the means to defend yourselves and cause a distraction for us sneaking in."
"Gotcha," Tangle nodded, her tail dragging her over to a fire escape as she jumped down it just as Videl took off.
'White-kyun….please be okay,' Miyuki thought as she and Whisper began ot jump from roof to roof.
" I see both forces outside the temple," a female Mobian Fennic fox with teal fur whispered, looking through a pair of binoculars as she, Spike, a large, muscular Mobian mole with purple fur and shades over his eyes, the Chaotix, and the kiddy trio poked out from behind a sand dune, looking in the distance to see two large groups of SUVS and Eggman-owned vehicles parked right across from one another, "They must be waiting for the other to strike…"
"Good eye, Sonar," Spike whispered before his eyes narrowed, "But the question is why though…"
"The Dark Legion must be waiting for the Sand Blasters to start their raid on the temple," Espio guessed, "And in turn…they are waiting for Eggman's forces to strike…a standoff."
"So no ones doing anything cause they are waiting for the other guy…like the world's most deadly but boring staring contest." Trunks summed up bluntly.
"Probably not a good idea if we make anyone blink…" Goten muttered.
"What if we did a sneak attack on them?" Charmy suggested.
"Bad idea," the mole shook his head, "If we did…the two sides would attack one another, thinking it was an unprovoked attack…"
"Probably the Sandblasters more so," Spike frowned.
"...what if we gave them both something to shoot at?" Goten offered.
"No…please not him…" Haseo realized.
"Oh we can fuse, and get their attention!" Trunks smiled.
"No..please no…" Haseo begged.
"Already picking up red flags…" Vector muttered.
"Its awesome, we become one dude called Gotenks and for 30 minutes we become crazy strong, like fly around the planet a dozen times in a second fast, and blow up a country strong!" Trunks smiled.
"He can't be controlled…" Haseo muttered.
"...actually that might be the best idea we can think of at the moment, "Sonar spoke up, making the group look at her, "The Sandblasters are unpredictable because of theri extremists attitude…the Dark Legion for Shamar are oddly more control,ed yet they're good with sneak attacks…so we need to think like them and do something sneaky, yet unpredictable at the same time."
"You heard the…blow up a country right?" Vector asked, "The adorable little one says it can't be controlled, it will be like the single most chaotic, insane…oh…" he realized.
"I…do not like the idea of lobbing two kids like a super grenade…" Spike muttered, "But…we have like zero options."
"They've shown to be strong enough to decimate the Sand Blasters…with almost 0 effort." Espio spoke up, "They turned their cars into a giant toy robot…"
"It is true…" Haseo muttered.
"...hah…" Spike sighed a bit, "Alright…but if things start to get dicey and you lose this fusion…immediately head to Trevor so he can back you up."
"I got your backs, little guys," the mole assured, "...though I am curious. How…"
"Like this," Goten and Trunks spoke, already getting into formation for the Fusion Dance, "Fu….!"
"Ahh! M-matte! Not so cl-" Haseo began in panic.
"Sion! HA!"
"Oh Chaos, it's bright!" Vector yelped.
"What in sam hill is going on out there?!" a voice snapped form one of the SUVs as a Mobian Rabbit with dirtied green fur and a cybernetic eye hopped out, followed by a few other Mobians and humans as they looked around, "Did those Dark Legion goons start th' attack?!"
"It was not us…" the group turned to see some Legionnaires stepping to the side, letting a tall Mobian vulture in an all white and black outfit stepped out of a tent set up near the vehicles, their face concealed by a golden mask, "Whoever it is are not…"
"HEY~!"
"?!" the two groups tensed a bit as they turned to see Gotenks looking down at them from above.
"Sup losers~" he stuck his tongue out, "I'm about to wreck you scrubs!"
"...a child?" the vulture whispered before turning to the side to avoid a laser shot from the rabbit, "..."
"Grr! Ah dont' care who or what gets in our way!" the rabbit snapped as he and his men aimed at both sides, "Men, shoot those traitors and that brat down! We're taking that temple today by any means necessary!"
"Got it, Jack!"
"Ugh…" the vulture sighed before looking at the Legionnaires, "Men, prepare to counter! We cannot let them take the temple!"
"Understood, Grand Master N!"
"Oh hell no!" Gotenks shouted as explosions shook both groups, "You are not ignoring the great and mighty Gotenks-sama! You are both gonna get an ass kicking, and you are gonna lose!" he went Super Saiyan, "Now…assume the positions." he held up a massive ball of ki.
"OH HOLY-!" one cried out as a massive explosion sent them all flying through the air.
"HAHAHAHAHA!" Gotenks cheered, blasting rapid barrage ki bullets at both sides.
"...mistakes may have been made…" Spike and Sonar whispered in unison.
"Mou…" Haseo groaned, hiding his face in his twin tails, as Gotenks tossed a Mobian into the air with a mad cackle.
"...such needless destruction…" Tien whispered, the group walking through a vast jungle…or rather…part of what was left as they saw burnt up tree stumps and deep indents and tracks on the ground.
"Yup...this has Eggman's forces written all over it," Sonic frowned.
"This is just all kinds of wrong." Krillin spoke, "I can't wait to put a stop to these assholes. Oh it is so comforting to curse again…so relaxing…"
"...why?" Chip whispered, looking at the destruction before him as he saw a small bird trying to lift itself from teh ground, "...why would he do something so cruel? This place never harmed anyone…"
"Eggman doesn't care," Sonic sighed to Chip, "He thinks just because he's the smartest person on the planet…he has the right to rule over us and convert everything into machines for his empire…"
"He doesn't care what gets between him and his goals," Roll added, gently picking up the bird and gently looked it over before putting a splint on its wing, "We just have to…do our best to stop him."
"But..what if he can be reasoned with?" Chip asked, "Surely he…"
"Sally's father thought he could back when he was Robotnik…his thanks was him taking over Mobius and turning Mobians into robotic slaves," Sonic frowned, "I'm sorry Chip…but Eggman's not the type of guy to be reasoned with…because chances are he'll back stab you the next chance he gets."
"Then we just need to stop him from ever getting the chance again." Gohan offered walking over to Roll as he put his hand over the bird, a soft golden glow coming from his hand as it chirped softly, and stood up much better then it was before, "And rebuild our new home into something better. Hand in hand, till we can have peace again. It might be hard…and even painful time and again."
"But we're no strangers to pain." Krillin sighed, "Its worth any risk to protect the things we've built up together."
"I've invested this much into the planet…I'm not about to stop now." Piccolo sighed, "One of us always gets up and fights for this place, now we got more people to keep trying."
"We all know its probably gonna be Goku again." Krillin sighed.
"...I think its good we have someone like him around. Now we got more." Tien sighed looking at Sonic, "Lots more. We can't fall behind a bunch of kids now can we?"
"Hey, I have a kid, Sonic can take my place as the guy always getting attacked by monsters." Krillin argued.
"True, but least I can outrun said monsters or beat 'em up as a Werehog when I finally master it," Sonic shrugged.
"Wait…do Mobians have giant great ape forms now too?" Tien asked.
"Nah," Krillin sighed, "He's just cursed."
"Okay that oddly makes more sense." he admitted.
"Which speaks more to how weird our lives used to be…" Piccolo argued.
"Well…guess we have our own stories to share once this whole ordeal is over," Sonic stated, "And trust me…me and my friends have been in quite a few weird situations as well…along with some pretty dangerous ones caused or not involving Eggman…"
"I'm almost glad our enemies don't last long." Krillin spoke, "But Goku's not gonna let killing an old guy fly."
"I want to lock him on an island." Piccolo spoke, "And leave him there…where he can't hurt anyone."
"What about food?" Krillin asked.
"...I forget how that is our problem." Piccolo argued.
"We tend to forget how much Goku….loves to eat," Tien added with a mutter.
"If Goku can be fed, the fatman can find food on an island." Piccolo added.
"He's forbidden from having strawberries on that island," Roll stated.
"Atta girl." Piccolo patted her head.
"...what was with that question anyway, Chip?" Sonic pondered as he looked at the small dog, "You never had a problem before when you saw Goku fight."
"Yeah but…uh…" Chip began before shaking his head, "N-no reason! Just…a random question is all! Eh heh…"
"...okay…" Sonic muttered with a raised brow, "...come on, guys…chances are Eggman's forces are not too far from here…and he's probably watching in glee at the destruction he's causing."
"13, Lien-da, Metal, get in here!" Eggman ordered, sitting down in his chair as he turned to look at the three, "So…I have some interesting news I have to share."
"What? You found a way to control Dark Gaia?" Lien-Da sarcastically asked.
"Nope…but I did find out where the last temple was," Eggman replied.
"Wait, what?"
"Yeah and…eh heh…funny thing actually…" Eggman sheepishly chuckled, rubbing the back of his head, "You see while you were…away and before I decided to leave the planet, I…sorta built something over where the temple is…"
"...Metal?" Lien-Da looked over at the robotic hedgehog for confirmation.
"It is true…"
"...okay…but I don't see why…" Lien-Da began as Eggman turned on a nearby screen, "..."
"...what? I wanted at least a base back here on Mobius once I finish my Ki-blocker," Eggman stated.
"...why am I not surprised? Why am I not fucking surprised?!" Lien-Da snapped as she began to walk off…before she came stomping back in, "Oh and let me guess, you made 'special items' based on me and the Grand Masters, didn't you?!"
"See? I told you she's part psychic," Eggman muttered to 13.
"No I see it Doc, I tells you this lady is hiding secret powers from ya…" 13 nodded.
"And we have this hillbilly bastard now too!" she snapped.
"Hey! I…am a Redneck, thank ya kindly to get it right." 13 argued, "I am a classical Southern Gentleman!"
"Is that why you walk around like a trucker themed stripper?" she sighed.
"No ma'am…this…is just style." 13 smirked.
"...I'm taking a fuckign bath…" Lien-Da muttered as she began to walk off, "Unless its important…dont' disturb me…that includes you too, ya drunk idiot!"
"Huh? Whuzzat…" 15 muttered, poking out from behind a crate with his hat askew.
"Hmm…I really need to have that there talk wit him…" 13 muttered, "Anyway Doc, whats the plan? Wait for the Dogooders to show up…then blow them to smithereens?!"
"Chances are they'll notice eventually, so yes," Eggman nodded before grinning, "Besides…I've been working on something special to deal with Goku and his little band of freaks…" he tapped on the console as another screen turned on, showing the schematics for a large mech-like robot.
"...whew," 13 gave a slow whistle as he looked at it, "Dang doc…you really went all out on this…"
"Originally it was gonna be my ultimate weapon against sonic, but with Goku and those friends of his…especially Widows peak, I need to amp up my game," Eggman responded, the light form the screen glaring onto his glasses as his grin grew, "And by the time we're done with them…this planet will be mine…"
"Well I guess I could retire and pass out my eternal android life…blasting varmints and rebels off the lawn." 13 sighed happily.
"You concern me…" Metal spoke.
"Hush boy you bother me." 13 replied, "I'm planning how to make explosive Moonshine."
"Somebody say Moonshine?" 15 asked.
"...How do you create the light of the moon when it is naturally made from reflecting the sun's light off its surface?" Metal asked.
"Nah man he means home made good stuff…that sweet sweet illegal booze~" 15 smiled, "It tastes even better…cause it's made as a crime."
"You realize I'm making it so organics will blow up…" 13 muttered.
"...So…I can't taste test batches?"
"Hah…oh 15…" 13 sighed.
Metal just seemed to ignore them at the moment as Eggman was focused on the screen with glee, the metal hedgehog eyeing the schematics for a moment as he stood there, '...weapons data…successfully copied…'
