World: Holiday Guardians

Before leaving North's office at the Pole, Sora asked to put a Moogle shop there. North was fine with that as he already shopped with the Moogles over the years. This portable shop could be moved, so North was going to put it near the globe later.

So, in a rush, Sora set up shop and restocked. North pitched in to get Sora a Staff, Shield, and some Accessories for added defense.

North waved off Sora's protests, Pitch was a formidable opponent. And, sidelined or not, Sora still needed a way to defend himself.

So, here was Sora, going rooftop to rooftop to help gather teeth for Tooth. Putting the Staff away, Sora instead used the shield to slide across the roofs.

The competition between the guardians was contagious and he couldn't stop grinning and laughing from their antics.

As for his friends… well.

The Gullwings were loving the attention from the kids after Tooth took a moment to figure out what their invisible issues were.

Perhaps, they resemble her fairies and the worlds' magic took effect as a result? Several children assumed as much anyway.

Cloud and Sephiroth chose to hang back and watch for Nightmares and Heartless so they can go unhindered.

It was fun.

…Until Jack and Sandy encountered a bored Oogie Boogie back in Burgess.

(He was irritated with the little fairies and set them loose just to piss off Pitch earlier. Pitch is still in his cage. Oogie and the Trick or Treaters then grew bored and tried to hijack the Nightmares for their own use, seeing as they ran off of fear. Oogie simply laughed in Pitchs' face on that reveal.)

Remember Nightmare Before Christmas? Yeah, Oogie took that literally, but before Easter in this worlds' case.

Belle was not amused. The group stared as Beasts' roar actually scared a Nightmare causing it to run off!

World: New Orleans

(Princess and the Frog)

Aurora finished her plate at the diner and thanked the nice waitress, Tiana.

Upon arriving, her wardrobe and even her hair changed to match the locals. Even Hades changed. (A/N- I googled Modern Hades Disney and this was right at the top: ArtStation - Hades. For Aurora, I couldn't find an outfit that would work for New Orleans in that time period, so feel free to get creative. I have outfits for her, but none to go here…)

She felt bad for her after overhearing those girls talk about her. But that quickly turned to joy after Lottie ran out the door in excitement.

There's something about the waitress…

Hades knocking on the window got her attention. Paying her bill, she walked out to meet him dancing with a crowd playing and dancing to music. She clapped and cheered. He's good!

"Two thumbs way up!" Aurora gave him two thumbs up as he approached.

Shocked, he looked touched at the gesture. Shaking his head, he sauntered over as the crowd cheered.

"Can you teach me how to dance like that?" She grinned in excitement. He guffawed.

"Stick with me, kid. I'll show you the ropes." He grinned as he slung an arm over her shoulder.

"How are your new friends? Do they actually work for you?" She's referring to Facilier 's spirit friends.

"Now they do! They dropped that guy like a hot potato! Jeez Louise, was that guy something. I almost felt bad. At least he had style! Love the neon and blacklight effects."

"So, what now-?" She was interrupted by the communicator spell going off.

The two found a table outside and proceeded to lounge as the groups updated each other.

"-And then we bumped into another Sora!" Belle spoke up over the din.

"Whoa whoa whoa! Hold your horses." Hades held up his hands as if to actually stop that train of thought. "Can you repeat that?"

"Great~! Another welp!" Hook could be heard in the distance behind Ariel on her end. They were surrounded by mounds of treasure. (Waiting to spring her trap).

"Exactly as I said." Belle took back over. "My guess is somewhere after he and Riku sealed Kingdom Hearts, a second Sora came into existence. He told me and Beast that he was a product of a wish by Genie from Agrabah."

"A wish?! Oh, dear. Whatever do you mean?" Poor Alice. She looked so worried.

"According to him, Genie was friends with Sora in that alternate future Sora died in. Genie made the younger Sora so he could have a normal life without the Keyblade. No Keyblade, means no obligations, no more suffering. Genie wanted Sora to be happy."

Hades leaned back in his chair. "How bad could it be that your friends had to literally wish for your happy ending? On your own behalf!" He waved his arms to emphasize the ridiculousness of the situation.

"Kairi? Riku? You both are quiet. Are you ok?" Jasmine spoke softly.

"...What do we do when we see him? He can't get involved right?" Kairi spoke so softly. Shoulders hunched in. Jasmine reached over and gave her a hug.

"Not necessarily." Riku started. "I mean, we can't ask him to help with saving the world stuff. But that doesn't mean we still can't be his friends. There's plenty of things to do without the Keyblade! Kairi! Do you remember back on the Island? None of us had a Keyblade, but we wanted to see other worlds?"

" 'I want to see 'em all!'" She giggled.

"Exactly! With all the exploring we're doing, this time, we'll be the tour guides!" He declared firmly, a glint in his eyes at an inside joke.

"Yeah! Hyuk!" Goofy laughed. "Tour guides."

"And he's not alone out here either." Belle threw in. "He has two winged adults, Cloud and Sephiroth. As well as three tiny flying ladies, Rikku Yuna and Payne as his companions in his own Gummi ship. And you are absolutely right, Riku. There was plenty for him to do from what I've seen."

"Really?" Kairi perked up. "What happened?"

"Spill the tea princess!" Hades lifted his drink in toast.

And Belle did just that to her eager audience.

Some time later, the duo had a wild night.

Aurora thinks she might've done things backwards…

Before the party, the duo bumped into Tiana again with her mother outside of a factory. In the discussion earlier with the girls, the Princesses each kept being drawn to various girls off world.

It wasn't until Goofy pointed out something in Sora's notebook.

The New Princesses of Heart. When they passed on their powers to new Princesses. Sora only had Rapunzel confirmed (Causing Cinderella to spill her own tea on that) with Elsa and Anna as maybes via Larxene. Kairi kept her power, however.

Could Tiana have been a new Princess?

So, here they were following the two women into the old Sugar Mill. And that's when they saw it.

The Keyhole.

Activated via the abandoned Gumbo pot as the ladies explored the building.

Hades waved her off and did it himself.

Dazed at the rush after the fact, Hades caught the pot and set it gently back on the table.

But it still feels like they left things unfinished! Shrugging, they continued on.

(Aurora gave him a deadpanned look as she simply pointed to a Mardi Gras poster. Hades gave his best puppy pout and a promise to teach her to dance).

That night, Aurora was enchanted with all the costumes and festivities. She eagerly got into the costumes and makeup. Amused, Hades noticed the greek costumes mixed in, but did his own thing. She lost Hades in the party early on. It wasn't like she tried very hard. Hades will always be the life of any party. At some point, they both wound up at the Mayor's house. She immediately recognized the girls from earlier. And again, she was drawn to Tiana again. And now she knows why.

Hades, the gentleman that he was, led her to the side of the dancefloor (Lottie and Naveen were hogging the center of the floor). Hades kept his promise and tried to teach her some moves.

There was a commotion by the buffet as Lottie quickly escorted Tiana away to help her out. Hades shook his head claiming that Lottie has it covered. Relieved that Tiana was in good hands, they went back to dancing.

And then a pair of frogs made their debut.

World: Experimental Islands

(Lilo and Stitch)

Kairi and Jasmine were on the beach when Stitch had his impromptu concert. Ursula was lounging on a beach chair, a numbered sphere tucked in her pocket. This must be what Riku meant earlier. Plenty of things to do or experience without the Keyblade!

And then Stitch went crazy and the crowd panicked and abandoned the beach.

Kairi eyed Cobra. Something about him..

It took a bit, the quiet of the beach unnerving, but David quickly cheered up the sisters.

A thud in the sand behind them had Kairi and Jasmine turn around to see Ursula drag over a pair of surfboards.

Keeping a distance from the family, but close enough to keep an eye on them, The duo took to learning to surf with gusto. Avidly watching David and Nani, they started to get a good grasp of it.

(They both agreed to never speak about the numerous wipeouts in the process.)

Ursula got her own camera when they were in town.

(Several shots and clips were the wipeouts to her endless amusement.)

And then, Kairi got an idea.

When Lilo waved at them as they passed each other, Kairi jumped off the board and transformed.

The family gasped as they saw mer-Kairi swim underneath them.

Rolling her eyes fondly, Jasmine whistles to get the family's attention. Grinning, she dove off and transformed as well.

They spent the next hour or so, alternating in swimming and joining them surfing. Lilo even piggybacked off of them underwater with Nani's permission so long as they stayed in sight.

And~ then Jumba happened.

Ursula glared at the imbecile. Rolling her eyes, she casually walked into the water and vanished under the waves after her own transformation spell.

Later, you'd find Ursula dragging protesting Jumba and Pleakley out of the waves and tossed them ashore none too gently. Wiping her hands of them, she left.

World: San Fransokyo

Snow White and Jafar Wound up startling a lot of people when they arrived outside a large building. Both came in their armor flying in from above. Snow with her Aqua vehicle and Jafar with Ventus's.

Snow was grimacing slightly at the attention, while Jafar basked in it. It took a while, but they learned they were at a convention for inventions.

Making their way to the entrance, they were stunned at a random comment- "Tadashi look! It's Snow White and Jafar!"

They stopped cold.

Jafar turned to the group carting giant barrels in question. "We have only just arrived, child. HOW do you know our names?"

"Yeah, what's the big idea?" Iago squealed from his shoulder.

Snow gasped but composed herself. "Indeed, I am Snow White." She curtsied, back in her Blue and yellow gown. "Who are you?"

The boy stepped up. "I'm Hiro and this is my brother, Tadashi. This is Honey Lemon, Gogo, Fred and Wasabi." He gestured to the group in turn.

"I think you guys are at the wrong convention." Wasabi commented gently in disbelief. "This is a convention for scientists, not cosplayers."

"Cosplayers? Whatever do they mean?" Snow asked Jafar who continued to glare at them.

The group looked at each other unnerved.

"Are you saying you're actually Snow White and Jafar? Two people from history?" Honey Lemon

"History? Do tell." Jafar stalked forward. Staff making an ominous echo as it was stabbed in the ground.

Tadashi stepped forward protectively over the group.

"Jafar! Leave the nice young man alone!" Snow shouted, indignant of his horrid behavior. "I apologize, we are simply curious as to how you know us when we have never been here before. You say we are a part of your history?" She continued gently.

The group looked at each other.

"Why don't we walk and talk?" Gogo stepped in. "We still need to get set up for the presentation."

Jafar huffed, but grudgingly stepped back. "Indeed. Scientists, you say? Let us hope it is not a waste of our time." Turning, the Vizier stalked up the stairs with a regal air.

"What is a scientist?" Snow asked the group. Tadashi facepalmed.

World: Port Royal

When Barbossa and his crew entered the caves, they stopped in shock and confusion.

For Alice was sitting in the middle of the entryway, book in one hand, without a care in the world.

And tossing a Medallion with the other.

The group erupted at the site. Alice looked up with a smile. Hopped up to stand, turn and run deeper into the caves.

The Pirates gave chase.

One of the pirates noticed something off. He briefly came into the moonlight.

His hand remained fleshy. Was the curse lifted?

Dawning relief mixed with horror.

They were running into a trap.

Another Pirate heard splashing as they entered the cavern with the chest. And spotted a giant tail and red hair.

The mermaids! That child!

"Cap'n!"

"What?!"

"It's a trap!"

Ariel rose from the water and yanked on a rope.

All exits became blocked. Hearing gunshots and dwindling screaming confirmed any left outside was met with a swift end. Various Whosits and whatsits came into effect to attack the surrounding Pirates. Coins, treasure and thingamabobs were launched from various improvised contraptions. (A/N- My descriptions aren't doing it justice. I was mentally picturing Ariel going Home Alone on these guys if that helps.)

And then, when the group was properly disoriented, Hooks' Pirates came out swords swinging.

"What is this? Have you forgotten, we cannot die?" Barbossa taunted.

Alice poofed in with Jack.

Taking aim, Jack shot the other dead in the chest. Stumbling, Barbossa gasped in pain. "I feel… cold." And fell to the ground.

And the remaining Pirates surrendered.

Everyone else cheered.

(Needless to say, barring the Medallions, not a single piece of treasure was left in the caves.)

Later, back on the Black Pearl with the Jolly Roger sailing beside it in the air, found Captains Hook and Sparrow talking ships.

At one point, Jack let Ariel hold the compass.

It started spinning, then it lit up a familiar glow. Taking out her Keyblade, Ariel sealed the Keyhole.

World: Destiny Islands

It was quiet. The only sounds were the birds overhead, the wind in the trees, and the waves gently coming to shore below.

The only occupants was a very exhausted veteran, time-traveling Keyblade wielder-

Taking a nap in that empty room up in the Island, away from the beach and out of the sunlight.

Sora parked his Gummi ship in orbit, sealed the Keyhole in the Secret Cave, and set in search for a quiet place to finally sleep in peace! (That year he was asleep/comatose doesn't count!)

With no shame, he swiped his own bedrooms' blankets and pillows and dragged them to the Island for some much needed R&R.

Stretching with a yawn felt from the depths of his soul, he collapsed in his blanket fort and passed out from exhaustion.
