Hullo everyone. Firstly, happy holidays to you all, regardless of which holiday it was. I don't really have anything more to say about the holidays than that, so I'll leave it at that and get straight to the point; I've been a moron and posted the wrong version of chapter twenty-two.
Some of you have probably already drawn parallels to the incident with chapter two, but this is a bit different. As I was writing chapter twenty-two, I had a pair of ideas, and worked on them simultaneously. One of them was the one which got published, and the other was the one which I enjoyed working on quite a bit more and came out thinking was the better option. You might also have noticed that chapter twenty-two wasn't as long as usual, and just sort of ended abruptly; it didn't even have the traditional author's note. That's because I just stopped working on that version before really finishing it, since I'd realized that the other idea was a lot better. That's also why chapter twenty-three is so odd in starting- I literally began the first paragraph with a reference to an event from the draft I'd intended to use, but hadn't actually used because my incompetence is unfathomable.
Thusly, I have updated chapter twenty-two to be the version of it that I actually wanted to publish. I promise, I haven't been writing this new version of twenty-two, I really am getting close to done with twenty-four. I'm very sorry that I didn't notice this issue until now.
