The Northern Direwolf - That's... a good comparison xD

Detrametal - You'll meet her this chapter :V And she has... quite an entrance.

HiddenDeathStalker - :D

Gowithebeat - Tbh, he only actually spend less than a few minutes with Midoriya during that month xD

Guest - You'll soon realize that Midoriya doesn't just CAUSE chaos, he also starts chains of events leading to Chaos. Truly, he was an SCP and Inko was his Containment Mechanism.

Shahryar - All I can say is that the situation of MLA is developing :V

(***)

Miyuki Tagawa was a member of the Meta-Liberation Army for about three months before her life took a completely unexpected 180.

She was among its younger members, a nineteen year old recruit that had made some really bad life choices. The MLA actually turned out to be her chance to turn a new leaf (certainly better than being a thug, and the chances of getting stabbed by your supposed allies were much lower too).

Tagawa looked mostly unremarkable, just an average young woman with zero external mutations. If you excluded the two-toned (blue and pink, with alternating waves) hair, that was actually quite odd in consistency.

She was busy moving some stacks of documents (a welcome change of pace from combat training) at one of the lower levels of the Detnerat Tower in Deika, when suddenly she heard knocking.

On the window.

And while it's a 'lower level', it's still the fifth floor.

Against her own better judgment, Miyuki Tagawa (villain name Toxicity) approaches the window.

On the other side is a floating ice platform, occupied by two people. One of them is a blue-haired bishounen wearing a blue-ish parka, the other is a green haired kid wearing a shirt with gloves and a light fur overcoat, probably due to spending too much time around ice?

She opens the window.

"Uhm, how can I help you?" She asks. Normally she'd freak out that they might be under attack or something, but she recognized the bishounen as Geten, one of the organization executives.

"We'd like to talk about your meta-ability!" The green haired kid announces. She notices that he is keeping a notebook in his hand, a pen ready to take notes.

Well, Geten is an executive. She has no reason to say no, right?

"Alright?" Tagawa blinks at them, this is really feeling a bit surreal. "What do you want to know?"

"First, I need your name, surname, and villain name." The green kid replies. "Also, by the way, I'm Notebook."

That, she can see.

She introduces herself as Miyuki Tagawa, aka Toxicity. Notebook writes that down, the bishounen still standing there quietly.

"Now, could you please summarize your meta-ability in your own words?" Notebook asks.

"Well, my meta-ability is a simple mutant one." Toxicity replies. "It makes every part of my body poisonous. Touching my skin causes chemical burns, my saliva is an acid, my breath is a knockout gas, and my nails contain a deadly neurotoxin."

She's actually wearing gloves just to avoid accidentally scratching someone. Sure, the one time she did scratch someone that guy was trying to kill her, so it was a kill in self-defense, right?

Notebook beams at her.

"Your meta-ability is powerful and so cool!" He lets out, Toxicity staring at him in confusion. Like, it was useful and powerful, that was probably a reason the MLA recruited her. Just… it also kind of made her life into hell, since she can't even touch anyone!

She's probably the most touch-starved person in the world, to be honest.

"Now, Geten." Notebook turns to his companion. "Where's the mistake in Toxicity's description of her meta-ability?"

"Wait, a mistake?" She blinks at him. He is clearly ignoring her, while Geten is busy thinking it over deeply.

"It can't be a simple mutation, right?" Geten eventually asks back. "You said that those are when you have a minor thing, like, say, that guy with jet thrusters in his legs from the sports festival." Notebook nods furiously. "But this mutation includes most of her body. So it has to be a complex one."

"Wait, it has to be a what?!" Toxicity shouts out at them, before suddenly realizing that she just shouted at one of the executives of her own villainous organization.

Thankfully, Geten doesn't care.

"Precisely, Geten-san!" Notebook smiles at him. "This absolutely has to be a complex mutation. So, all of her children will inherit it in full without fail. But, there is one thing that this implies about her meta-ability. Do you remember the main rules for complex mutations that I listed to you?"

"Hold up, could you slow down and elaborate on the complex mutation t…" Toxicity is increasingly desperate to get the much needed answer, but she is instead ignored again.

"They have to be logically inheritable." Geten clearly found the right answer, judging from the blinding smile on Notebook's face. "They are like a new species in a nutshell, right? That's why all their children get the same mutation. But she can't have sex with anyone if she kills or severely injures anyone that touches her."

"Yes!" Notebook smiles at him. "And what can be the solution to this conundrum? Look at her closely."

Geten does so, staring at her intently for almost ten seconds. Toxicity has never been so confused in her life.

"Her hair." Geten suddenly says. "It's the only part of her body that isn't perfectly human-like. And she didn't say what sort of poison it's carrying."

"That's it!" Notebook replies enthusiastically. "It seems to have the consistency of plasticine, like Lady Nagant's hair. I'm willing to make a bet that it's actually supposed to be ingested by other people, and acts as a universal antidote slash source of temporary immunity to her poison!"

It's supposed to be what?!

Notebook hands her a piece of paper through the window. It seems like an official form, with a stamp from the Detnerat Company. He actually has a few more sticking out of a pocket now that she sees it. On it is a summary of her meta-ability, including a theory about her hair being an antidote.

It's signed by Notebook, too.

"Please give it to your supervisor." Notebook announces. "You'll be given a leave of absence to head to the nearest Detnerat Company facility in order to have our theory tested properly. I'll mail them the proposals for equipment improvements for you after we're done with our patrol. Geten, we're leaving."

"Wait, you can't just…" Toxicity tries to shout after them, but the platform takes off in an instant, the duo disappearing behind the corner of the building.

What the hell just happened?

(***)

"They are almost in Deika." Trumpet decides to say the words. Ko Yotsubashi and Soma Michiko were about to arrive. "Where're Geten and Midoriya? I thought they were supposed to show up?"

Well, more like Midoriya did. Geten's relationship with his sister was… well, they'd rather kill each other than act like a family. Unless Midoriya's Magic was somehow going to change that.

"They are busy flying around Deika, giving random members of the MLA nasty cases of existential crisis via thorough analyses of their meta-abilities." Re-Destro replies, doing his best not to look anxious to meet his daughter again.

They are waiting in the corridor in front of the elevators at the highest level of the Detnerat Tower. The area is empty, so they can talk freely.

"How do you know that?" Trumpet asks, glancing at their Grand Commander.

"Because they've been at it constantly for the last five days." Re-Destro replies dryly. "You know, ever since Midoriya decided to start teaching Geten meta-ability analysis."

Oh, right. That tracks. One the way here Trumpet passed by a long queue of very confused people with Midoriya's meta-ability notes in their hands, lined up in front of the nearest Detnerat quirk science facility.

"You know, I'm sincerely surprised by the fact that Geten actually decided to learn something like this." Trumpet decides to speak about it. "And even more surprised by the fact that he turned out to be a knowledge sponge in that one field. How did Midoriya even do this?"

"He told him that the ability to analyze meta-abilities will grant him an upper hand in combat." Re-Destro replies. "By letting him better employ his Ice Control against his enemies."

Oh, that definitely tracks.

Turns out that applying the same intense drive to become stronger to something slightly different (like, say, learning normal stuff) brings great fruits. Incredible, Trumpet decides.

"Are we one hundred percent sure that Midoriya doesn't have an analysis meta-ability?" Trumpet decides to ask. Re-Destro gives him a questioning look. "I'm not trying to discount his abilities, but he is, what, almost sixteen years old? But somehow he's casually outperforming legions of analysts from Detnerat, isn't he?"

"Yeah, to be honest, it kind of makes my company look like a bunch of clowns." Re-Destro admits. "But since my company isn't outperformed by its competition, they aren't bad, it's just Notebook that's this good. And no, he is certainly biologically quirkless."

"Huh." Trumpet glances at Re-Destro. "Any idea who taught him all of that, then? If it's not a meta-ability, it has to be some extraordinary teacher."

Re-Destro knows that from the autopsy. He is a great planner and villainous mastermind, despite having a meta-ability that's best summarized as 'All Might but nervous'. It's all good teachers, and for years.

"Apparently his father, the one that Mischief is currently hunting and that he's forbidden from naming." Re-Destro replies. "And his family's physician, Dr. Kyudai Garaki."

"The man behind the Quirk Singularity Theory?" Trumpet stares at Re-Destro in shock. "Hasn't he been dead for almost a century? It has to be someone with a similar name or an alias, right?"

"Look, after hearing that the Hero Killer is his mother's chauffeur, that Mr. Compress taught him magic tricks, that Knuckleduster trained him in self-defense, and that his mother's tea parties included a solid half of supervillains in this country, I've stopped expecting common sense around Midoriya. "Re-Destro replies dryly. "I've actually decided to make the most ridiculous theory I could craft concerning his parentage to see if it'll somehow, just somehow, turn out to be true."

"And what's that theory?" Trumpet asks.

"That his stepfather is the legendary Quirk Thief, which would certainly explain why the kid's so afraid of him, and that his biological father is actually All Might." Re-Destro replies. "Which would imply that Mischief somehow scored both the mythically most horrible villain in human history and the greatest hero ever. Honestly, seeing how legendary she was in her prime, I can scarcely imagine lesser men achieving that." He adds, giving Trumpet a wry smile.

Trumpet chuckles loudly. Oh, yeah, this theory was just ridiculously hilarious and hilariously ridiculous at the same time. Just as the idea that the legendary (and long-dead) quirk scientist could be Midoriya's family physician AND teach him about quirks.

A few minutes later, Midoriya casually backstabs Re-Destro. By arriving through the window, on Geten's ice platform. The man himself is on the same platform, clearly ready to stomach his sister's presence since his best friend will also be there.

No, they still didn't figure out how to process the spokesman of the biggest quirk supremacist group in the country becoming a doting and protective older brother figure to a quirkless kid who wanted (and still wants) to become a hero.

"Midoriya, not you too." Re-Destro, once again, realizes that Geten is a bad influence on his boy Midoriya. "There are doors and elevators in this building, you know that? I actually put stickers on the windows to remind people that they aren't supposed to be used like this."

"Uhm." Midoriya glances at the stickers. "It only says that it's not an exit. But we didn't leave the building through the window, we entered it. So it's legal, right?"

Re-Destro gives a death stare to Trumpet, who is clearly pretending that he didn't just chuckle loudly.

Yes. Geten was certainly a bad influence. Then again, it might as well have been people like Mr. Compress. Re-Destro somehow fails to imagine the best thief in the world to be a person that can make people close to him actually adhere to rules.

Oh. Right. Midoriya's mother was Mischief. That explains a lot.

That's the moment when the elevator doors open and Rikiya Yotsubashi finally gets to see his daughter.

"Ko!" He immediately abandoned all remnants of decorum as a leader of an ancient conspiracy, just to dash forward and grab her in his arms.

"Daddy!" Ko Yotsubashi replies cheerfully, hugging him back. "I've missed you sooo much!"

"I've missed my dearest little princess too!" Rikiya coos loudly.

That's when the elevator decides to remind them that it exists and that hugging your children in the elevator door isn't a good idea, as it promptly tries to close right on Re-Destro. Of course, it doesn't (it stops closing when it encounters some resistance and then opens back again) but it wakes Rikiya enough to make a step back and let them enter.

Midoriya finally gets a better look at the new arrivals.

Ko Yotsubashi has short black hair, a nose of completely normal proportions, and her build can only be described as 'completely and utterly frail'. Her age was most likely comparable to Izuku, although with how small she was it was a bit hard to say for certain.

That (and her rather pale complexion) is probably best explained by the fact that she was sitting in a wheelchair. And, to top it off, her eyes were completely unfocused. Not just bound to a wheelchair, but also blind.

It was also probably easy to understand why she was so cherished and fiercely protected by her father.

Her wheelchair was pushed by a woman that could as well be seen as her direct counterpart. Tall, and of a rather voluptuous body. Her long, light-blue hair, is an exactly identical hue as Geten's (while clearly being of similar age to him).

Geten and the woman glance at each other, before looking away with a loud 'tsk' coming from both sides.

Trumpet sighs. It's a really big contrast. Re-Destro dotes on his daughter from all his heart, while Geten and Hypothermia - despite being twins - hate each other. Koku Hanabata himself never had children or siblings, so he feels confident in being the external observer to those little dramas.

"She knows about the MLA." Trumpet decides to tell Midoriya, who looks back at him and nods. "So you're free to talk with her about it." Izuku nods again. He probably has a lot of questions to ask.

"Did I hear uncle Trumpet speaking?" Ko's head perks up in his general direction.

"Yes, you did." Trumpet says loudly while smiling at her. "Someone had to be here to make sure that your father doesn't forget about his work just to orbit around you for the rest of the day. And you need a leader of one of the bigger parties in the parliament to be charismatic enough to succeed in that!"

Ko chuckles, Re-Destro giving Trumpet a vaguely insulted look that Hanabata completely ignores.

"So, who else's here?" Ko asks, clearly wanting to say hello to everyone.

"Geten." Trumpet says. Soma Michiko and Ko Yotsubashi click their tongues in unison.

"I've grown much stronger in your absence, sister." Geten smiles wryly at her. "This time, I'm going to defeat you."

"You're always saying that, Gina." Michiko sighs. Geten clearly doesn't like having his first name mentioned. Mostly because he doesn't like the name in question. "And then you always lose."

"You might be surprised this time." Trumpet decides to comment. Because, yeah. Geten suddenly became a terrifying force of nature, thanks to Midoriya.

Those two had a very bumpy relationship, caused mostly by their rather shitty 'parents' at their Radical compound. Geten was born with weaker meta-ability, trying to catch up to his much more talented sister with extreme training.

Hypothermia, despite half-assing her training, somehow kept coming on top in their fights, making Geten even more pissed off at her.

Worst of all, she had very little interest in the Meta-Liberation Cause. She made it rather clear that she doesn't plan to fight heroes over it, but she was most certainly going to protect Ko Yotsubashi, her bestest friend for life.

Hypothermia would probably fight God if he threatened Ko.

And, as stated, she was incredibly powerful, making her a basically perfect bodyguard to Re-Destro's daughter.

Trumpet, honestly, doesn't want to put himself between those two. His meta-ability is about boosting other people, he is otherwise a politician. Weak and vulnerable. Yes, he has self-defense training, but Geten and Hypothermia wouldn't even notice they were fighting someone.

Re-Destro managed to beat Geten up during the failed Radical coup. Rikiya Yotsubashi himself wasn't certain if he could repeat the feat with Hypothermia. That's, of course, for the pre-Midoriya power scaling.

Trumpet had no idea how the MLA power scaling worked now.

"So…" Ko decides to take it over. "... anyone else?"

"Auntie Curious and Uncle Skeptic are a bit too busy with their work to greet you right now." Re-Destro replies cheerfully. "But we do have someone new among us, Ko! Notebook, introduce yourself."

And now Midoriya is in the spotlight. He hates being in the spotlight.

'U-uhm, hi?" He stammers out nervously. "I'm I-Izuku Midoriya, v-villain name Notebook. I'm… I'm…" He blinked in surprise, before looking at Re-Destro questioningly. "W-wait, what's my o-official position in the M-MLA?"

"Well, naturally it's… it's…" Re-Destro opens his mouth only to realize that he has no idea what to say. Then decides to wing it. "You know what, I have no idea myself. If someone asks, you're a self-employed meta-ability analyst that's a branch of MLA on its own, making you a First Adviser like Trumpet or Skeptic, but without any people answering to you. But you also answer only to me." He sighs. "Just, you know, I expect you to actually listen to the other First Advisers when I leave you in their care, due to them being, you know, adults."

"O-oh, alright, that makes sense." Midoriya nods, yet to realize that he just became one of the select few executives of the world's oldest continuous conspiracy at the ripe age of 16 and about a month after joining it. "So, u-uhm, I'm a First Adviser."

"Well, it's great to meet you then!" Ko smiles into space. "I'll be in your care, Midoriya-kun!"

(***)

Following a short exchange of words, Ko announced that she is a bit tired after her lengthy journey back home, and said that she wants to rest and that she'll welcome them all properly the next morning.

The moment they arrived in their quarters, Ko began to speak.

"Michan, are we alone?" Hypothermia confirms it. "Alright then! Tell me everything about Midoriya."

Of course it's about Midoriya.

"Somewhere beneath 170cm tall…" Hypothermia replies calmly. "... fluffy-looking dark green hair. A bit of a plain look on his face, but freckles certainly make him appear relatively cute. Clearly shy and socially awkward. Your father is clearly treating him like his son already."

Silence in the room. Ko is still in her wheelchair, her fingers fidgeting nervously.

"So…" Michiko decides to ask. "... what are your plans?"

Ko gives her the most angelic smile the blind girl is potentially capable of. It's a smile that could end wars, establish world peace and redeem villains in a moment.

"I'm going to…" The smile warps into a shit-eating grin. "... break his pelvis like a twig, Michan."

Now, what has to be said is that people's quirks - especially the stronger ones - to some degree influence their Holders' personalities. It's not a particularly powerful effect. Bakugou Katsuki having his anger issues and Rikiya Yotsubashi being very easy to stress are among the more extreme cases of the phenomenon.

Ko Yotsubashi's quirk was called Stress Stockpile, a clear mutation of the quirk her father had. In a way, it operated under the logic of One For All power stockpile - a power source (not a battery to be discharged) growing proportionally to something.

In Ko's case, it was frustration, stress, and anger. Powering her up, demanding to be finally released.

She was born blind, which resulted in her amassing so much power that she broke her own body during its first activation, which left her bound to a wheelchair. Which, as one can expect, made her stockpile grow even faster.

And quirks grew stronger with the passage of time, with every generation that passed. One for All was born at the beginning, Stress Stockpile was born at the end. The rate of growth was completely different and utterly incomparable.

Twelve years after her quirk manifested, Ko Yotsubashi's frail body held within it a trembling ocean of power that amounted to approximately 57% of the total One For All power stockpile (that took two centuries to gather).

A power that, if she could express it without blowing herself into shreds, would make her the strongest member of the Meta-Liberation Army, surpassing (if not by far) even Hypothermia and her father.

As one can expect, a meta-ability of this magnitude had its impact.

Ko Yotsubashi had masterful control of her body and emotions (one that she, among other things, needed to make sure that the power stored in her meta-ability didn't 'leak' outside and didn't damage her any further).

She genuinely loved and adored her father and wanted to be his little angel and a pillar of emotional support. She liked her uncles and aunties and wanted to make them happy, too.

But under all of that? Oh, she repressed and controlled a big part of herself. And just like her meta-ability, she wanted to be released upon the world.

"You know that he'd faint if he heard you right now?" Hypothermia asks. She got used to her companion's… true self. She was the only person that Kochan was herself in front of.

"And that's the point of it, Michan!" Ko smiles wryly. "I missed out on a lot of things in my life thus far… and there is a clear order to those. There is something we have to do before we get to backbreaking sex in every imaginable position, with a lot of… external equipment, that will finally satisfy all my darkest desires and urges."

"Which ones, by the way?" Hypothermia asks calmly. "You have a lot of those."

"Oh, you see…" Ko looks ashamed of it for a moment, her blind eyes missing Hypothermia and staring blankly into space. "... I always wanted to find out how does it feel to have sex… while wearing a blindfold." She adds, as she suddenly gives Soma Michiko a very impish smile.

Hypothermia isn't sure what else she expected. She lets out an exasperated sigh, that makes Ko smile even wider.

"So, what's the next part in the 'order of things' you mentioned?" Hypothermia decides to change the subject.

"Oh, the teenage love drama slash romantic comedy, of course!" Ko replies cheerfully. "Being oblivious about your feelings, needing time to realize that it's love, being incredibly shy about it, blushing furiously and feeling all hot and bothered because of the briefest of accidental physical contact… and then, once the confession happens, the first kiss, hand holding feeling like a major milestone in your relationship and so on. Probably all the way to the wedding day!"

Soma Michiko somehow feels like this is not the end of it.

"Before I get to ride something much more interesting than a wheelchair," Ko adds, with a smile of a succubus that spotted her next victim.

Poor Notebook, Hypothermia decides. He has no idea what's coming.

Before you ask, ETS!Ko Yotsubashi was exactly the same, except here her qualities are exacerbated for crack reasons. You'll get a sample to compare this with in ETS next World That War Arc chapter :P

She's like 50% sweet, 50% spicy, let me tell you that much.

Izuku's future girlfriend is a frail, blind girl in a wheelchair, and somehow Izuku's the one threatened by death through snu-snu. Talk about a shocking plottwist, lmao.
