Back at the ruins of the lighthouse. Rubble begins to move and Chris and James in their ankylosaurus and Titanoboa forms appear before Terri in her
titanosaur form lifts the rest of the rubble off the group. Buzz looking over the scene in shock, "How did this happen?" Ava then is noticed to not be with the
group. "Oh no! Where's Ava?" Buzz shouts out. "Right here," Ava says as she steps out from the trees un-harmed before further saying, "And I found this in
the trees." A robotic pigeon. Rodger takes a look at it. "It's a robotic drone made to look like a pigeon for remote observation."
Ms. M steps forward to say, "I had a feeling this would eventually happen. Even the best laid plans can still not account for all factors and angles.
Veloci must've placed the bomb in the lighthouse." Caruso, "But then that means." Fiona, "He knows what we are." Ms. M, "Yes and perhaps has known the
truth for a while now but kept it too himself and had us all under observation." Terri, "Perhaps when he caught Max. He figured he already had what he
needed and saw us as a loose end to be eliminated." Everyone else starts to panic until Ms. M shouts, "Enough!" This makes everyone look at her. "We need to
not panic but to make a plan to stop Veloci and to also save Max and Rose." Sarut, "Are you crazy. She's the one who literally handed Max over to that raptor."
Ms. M looks at him sternly, "It's not that simple. I could tell when I tried to touch her mind there was something frightening her, she was trying to suppress
and keep from coming to the surface. But we can't think on that now. Right now, we need to plan our next move." Wanda steps in, "Well if Veloci believes we
are dead. Then maybe he's recalled all his drones." Rodger, "And as long as we don't go dino. His scanners will not detect us." Ms. M, "Exactly. As long as
Veloci thinks he has won. He has un-knowingly given us the advantage." Caruso, "But where are we supposed to go to plan our next move." Ms. M, "I have
that already taken care of."
After flipping back over the main van and the other D-Squad members get their cycles and doubling up with each other. She brings them to a large boulder
overlooking the ocean on a cliff a couple miles north of where the lighthouse was. Fiona still slightly panicked, "Why did you bring us here Ms. M? We have to
save Max." Ms. M steps around the rock and pushes a spot on the rock that makes a square shape part of it slide back revealing a scanning screen with a
three-finger pattern on it. Ms. M then changes her right hand into its raptor form and places it on the pad. It scans her hand and turns green confirming it's
her. The rock then lifts slightly up and slides to the left revealing a pattern in the substrata beneath where the boulder was in the shape of eight petals of a
flower with a key slot in the middle of the pattern. Ms. M reaches under the boulder and pulls out the key and inserts it into the slot. Turns and the petals start
going down one by one revealing a secret spiral staircase. Ms. M. looks at the group to tell them, "Take this as another lesson in life. Never put all your eggs in
one basket, and always have a back-up in case your first venture fails, or un-foreseen circumstances come up. Now come on, we're burning precious time.
"Right away Ms. M," says Rodger. After they are all below the surface the first seven steps, they came down retract back up and the boulder returns to its
original position.
Ms. M brings them to the central chamber and when the lights come on revealing a large inner sanctum full of lab and medical equipment. Computer screens
and a new version of the speed boat they used to use before the new members joined the original D-Squad. Paula asks, "How long have you had this place
Ms. M?" "I had it made around the same time I moved into the lighthouse. I made sure to back-up everything here and all the computers here are genetically
encrypted. Even if Veloci got all the data from the computers at the lighthouse. Here, I am the only being on the entire planet who can access it. Now set the
hybrid down on the examination table." As they put Ankyla down she comes too and is briefly confused. Then Ms. M steps forward saying, "Easy, easy, you're
among friends." "You're fathers' enemies. Are you going to kill and eat me?" Buzz steps forward, "OK first we are only Veloci's enemies because he wants to
wipe out everybody we love and care about. Second, we do not kill and eat our enemies. And you are not a prisoner." Ankyla then remembers, "Right father
abandoned me. He thought I wasn't worth the effort. I can't even feel him in my mind anymore." Ms. M, "Can you help us?" "How do I know I can trust you.
You are same as him. Say one thing but mean something else." Ms. M, "I suggest you listen and trust your animal instincts." There is a long pause before she
relaxes and says, "I know now Veloci is evil, and I can sense that none of you genuinely don't want to hurt me." Buzz then asks, "Can you tell us what this is?"
He says as holds up the jar with the parasite in it. "
"A mind parasite. Father had those implanted in all of us to keep us obedient, and most likely he has done the same to your friend." Fiona then asserts slightly
changing into dino mode as she shouts, "Where is he?! Where has he taken Max? "Tell us now?!" "Fiona!" Ms. M. shouts. Fiona then changes back before
storming off. "I am sorry about Fiona. First let's get a quick bio-scan of you too see your present state of health. If that is alright with you. May I?" Ankyla is
slightly confused, "You are asking me." Ms. M nods as an answer. "I've never been asked before. I've only been told what to do and expected to do it."
Ms. M. tells herwhile gently holding her hands, "That is the fundamental difference between us. I value freewill and that it is in your right as a living being to
choose for yourself." "You are defiantly not acting the way he described you at all." "I'll take that as a compliment." Then suddenly Ankyla grabs her sides in
pain and lies on the table reeling. "What's wrong?" "It hurts, my insides really hurt." "Then we need to find out what's wrong at once. Now please try to lie
still."
Rodger and Terri find Fiona sitting on the edge of the spot where the second boat is floating and is looking down at the water crying. Rodger and Terri share a
brief look at each other before Terri asks, "Come on sis I've never known you to lose it like this. What's really bothering you." Fiona, "It's… just with all that
has happened. With it all starting with me turning Max down. Saying I didn't feel the same for him. Now it seems…" Rodger reply's before sitting down next to
her, "That it is all your fault this happened." Fiona sobbingly responds, "Yes…." Terri then puts her left hand on her right shoulder, "Hey, don't think like that.
None of this is your fault. I know it. Rodger and the others know it. And I know Max does not blame you for this either." Fiona still crying hugs both of them.
Rodger, "Now come on. Let's get back with the others and figure out we're going to save Max and hopefully the whole world."
The others are gathered around Ms. M. as Fiona, Rodger, and Terri arrive. As Ankyla is still in a lot of pain. Buzz asks, "Well what's wrong with her?" Ms. M,
"Ankyla, I don't know how to say this." Ankyla, "Just say it." Ms. M. "Your systems and other bodily functions are failing. You have arterial sclerosis, signs of
pancreatic cancer, and are experiencing organ failure." Inga asks, "How?" Ms. M turns to face Ankyla, "How old are you?" Ankyla, "I am really only five months
old." Everybody gasps with Buzz going, "Five months." Ms. M, "It explains what is happening to you," Ms. M then says. "The accelerated growth in the cloning
process is cause. On the exterior you are about eighteen, but your internal organs and veins are like that of a human woman in her late eighties or early
nighties." Ankyla, "I'm dying arn't I, that is why father didn't come back for me." Buzz looks at Ms. M, "Well can't you stop it?" Ms. M shakes her head before
adding, "Based on these results, I fear Ankyla only two to three hours left." Then Ankyla surprises everyone by getting off the table to say, "Then let's make
them count." Ms. M, "You shouldn't be up. You need yo…" "Look! I'm dying I can't escape that, and you all need to accept that, but before I expire, I want to
make my last hours matter." Fiona looks at her, "Then help us stop Veloci." Ankyla, "If that means helping to take down the father who failed his child whereas
his enemy's showed mercy to that abandoned child, gladly. And I know how I can help. I know where he has taken your friend." Fiona, "Where?" "To his secret
volcanic island lab. It is in the very middle of the Atlantic ocean about 2455 km south by southwest of Kittery Point." Ms. M tells the group, "Then let's not
waste time. Let's save Max and the whole Earth."
Meanwhile Veloci lands his jet on his island that has many prehistoric looking plants and with a volcano overlooking the island with smoke coming out from it.
Veloci brings Max to his main genetics' lab and places bioanalyzer on his shoulder. "Now, transform very slowly." Trying to resist with tears in his eyes as he
says, "Yes master." He begins to change slowly while Veloci is watching the readouts until he says, "There!" He pushes a button on the keyboard and takes the
DNA sample from Max in his mid-morph. Max then fully changes back to human. Veloci now looking at the screen adding the mid-morph sample to his ooze
formula showing 100% stable. "That's it! The missing piece of the puzzle." Turning back to face Max, "Thank you Max. You have given me the key to making
my great dream a reality. But first I need to test it to be sure it works." He then calls over the comns, "Attention all security and maintenance crew. Report to
the main hanger for cake and punch. We are celebrating a very special birthday today."
One of the guards asks a maintenance woman, "Hi I'm Owen I work for security." "Hi, I'm Claire I work in IT maintenance." Owen, "That's probably why we
never met before." "Yeah, big facility." "yeah." Owen, "You want to go out when we rotate back to the mainland?" Claire, "I'd like that." Pause then Claire
asks, "So do you know whose birthday it is?" Owen shrugs his shoulders. Then another guard cheers, "I can't believe Mr. Veloci remembered that today is my
birthday. He really does care."
Then the doors close and the sprinklers start pouring primordial ooze on everyone. Owen's helmet shatters as he becomes a T-Rex. Claires hands change with
her fingers becoming three and growing long claws as she transforms into a thriznosaur. Then before those who have been change into plant and meat eaters
can attack. They all go still and look towards Veloci as he enters the room. Seeing that only 30 transformed into dinosaurs while the rest dissolved into bloody
smears around cloths clinging to skeletons. "Interesting, it seems that my formula when completed only works on 0.03 infused with the formula that become
dinosaurs. The rest simply dissolve into nothing. That works out for me just fine." He changes into his velociraptor form and telepathically commands them,
"Bow before me." They all do bow before him. "Excellent, the new age of the dinosaurs begins. And I will remake it my way. The age of Veloci!"
