They find themselves on the next level up the spiral tower and find themselves before another door. Where Ms. M reads, "You may go in and go on, but do you all have the

strength to carry on?" Cera steps forward, "Well if these series of challenges is about strength, then this all me." Rose, "Not so fast Cera. We'll all be test for our strengths

here." Cassie sighs, "Well then, I guess that leaves me out. I'm basically as weak as they come." Veronica, "Well standing around isn't going to get us through. Let's just go

and get this over with." Gladys, "Hold your horses youngin."

They enter in to find a bench press as the first challenge. Rose, "A bench press. That's the first challenge. Maybe it's a fake or a hidden challenge or…" Cera is already on the

Bench press and pushing it up. After that the door opens. Cera, "See I told you. This is all me." Sora looks at Rose and Ms. M, "That was surprisingly easy." Rose, "Ms. M. Do

you think it's possible this place is about directness and will not be filled with riddles?" Ms. M, "I can't be sure. Just be ready to expect the un-expected."

They stand before another door that says, "Congrats bra on passing the challenge for the strength of the arms, but now you must with the strength of the feet and steadiness

of the mind." Kattie, "What does that mean?" Rose, "I guess we'll find out." When they enter blades begin whirling on poles and slots in the ground too fast to see clearly and

swinging blades like pendulums at the end of the obstacle course. Veronica steps forward shoving Cera aside, "Sorry girl. You may have beat that last trial, but when it comes

to speed. You are but a turtle." She changes her legs to their ornithopod form. "These legs are not just decoration that is food for the eyes." She then begins running the

obstacle course. She sees everything in slow motion and is able to avoid the blades by a hair with ease. That is until the last challenge when she tries to leap across the

swinging blades and ends up cutting her foot for, they are double sided and she falls out. Rose bandages her foot with Ms. M telling Veronica, "You are fast. No doubt about

that, but perhaps too fast to remember the part about being steady of mind. The last challenge was a test of patience. Rose, you do it this time." "Me?" Veronica, "Her?" Rose,

"But I'm not fast. I change into a T-Rex." Ms. M, "You were not listening to me than before. Each of them is part of you, and you can draw on their powers, strengths, and

forms to help you. And will I. Concentrate on acquiring Veronica's legs." And in no time Rose had Veronica's legs and was on the obstacle course. Avoiding the blades as

Veronica had, and unlike her standing at the last challenge waiting for the right chance for when there was a clear unobstructed way through the blades. She instantly jumps

on it when it appears five minutes late and makes it through. Pushing the three clawed shaped button on the wall behind to make the obstacle course challenges retract into

the walls and floor so the others can pass with-out having to face it.

A short time later they find themselves in a circular pit with a single ledge about four body lengths above them. The glowing writing appears, and as usual Ms. M translates

the dead language. "Let's see if your wings are strong enough to lift you up when it's too much to stand up." Cera, "What does that mean?" Suddenly the floor glows red and

everyone is pulled down to be lying flat on their bellies struggling. Cera, "Good dinos. It feels like a titanosaurus is standing on my back." Gladys, "And I thought my joints

ached before." Donna, "The gravity in here must've increased. Making us much heavier than we were before." Rose, "How are we supposed to pass this challenge now?" Ms.

M, "Hold on the clue said, 'Your Wings." She looks at Sora, "Sora! We need you for this one." Sora, "But I feel so heavy now. I'm being flattened like a pancake. How am I

going to fly up there when I weigh heavier than a hippo?" "It said let's see if your wings can lift you up. "I'm pretty sure that wouldn't be in there if it were possible for you to

fly." "But what if I try and I fall, and we are stuck here forever?" Rose, "Sora, you must have faith." Sora looks unsure as she struggles to lift herself. She manages to stand-

up and when she flaps her wings she does manage to fly. Sora, "How is this possible?" Donna struggling to speak replies, "I think it's for the same reason the air feels thicker.

Higher gravity means denser air so flight as a result becomes easier." Rose, "Whatever the reason, now it's up to you to complete this challenge. Now fly up there and get this

gravity to stop weighing us down." "Right," Sora says as she turns to fly towards the ledge. Until arrows and burst of fire shoot at her. "Yeouch, and just when I thought I had

it. Well, if you're not going to make this easy for me. Neither will I for you." She is shot at multiples times in every direction and keeps avoiding. Until one arrow shoots

through her wing membrane. She begins to fall, but she then tucks her wings in. Angles herself towards the ledge and spins in a corkscrew. Fire and arrows are shot at her

continuously until she crashes onto the ledge that they stop. She gets up covered in burns and arrows as she walks over to the stone in the wall that is the release

mechanism. Pushes it and the gravity field is lifted. The sides of the chamber come off the wall and assemble themselves into a floating sequence of stairs. When they get to

the top new writing appears with Ms. M reading, "Congrats charred brah. You finally know what it takes to go the distance. For what strength with-out resolve." Rose looking

at Sora, "How are you feeling?" "Like I should be dead." A panel opens on the wall next to them with a vile inside. Rose pulls it out and it reads, "Drink this and you will be

healed." Rose, "Here drink this." Cera, "Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! How do we know that's not poison that will kill her." Sora, "This is how? Horn brain!" Sora takes the vile and

swallows all the liquid. She gags, "Uh! It taste terrible." Then she and others see that it works. All her injuries instantly heal.

Once they enter through the door it closes behind them after Gladys walks through. The writing appears on the wall saying, "Try to keep from drowning." The room begins

filling up with water. Everybody is floating and the ceiling is getting lower as the water rises. Then Rose notices a sun shaped pattern on the ceiling. Then she looks under the

water and sees a floor tile with the same shape. Rose, "Guys! The raised tile down there has the same shape on it as the ceiling. I think the ceiling is the way out and the tile

is the release mechanism." Kattie, "I got it." Rose, "Kattie wait…!" Kattie swims down and pushes her foot down on the tile and the ceiling begins to open. Gladys, "Hey what

do you know it worked." But then it shuts as Kattie comes back up. Kattie, "It's impossible! No one can hold their breath that long." Donna, "No but Diane can. She's a

Dinosuchus. Crocodilians can hold their breaths for up to two hours." Rose, "Of course, Diane, I need you to swim down there and keep that tile pressed down until it is fully

opened." "But if mess up…" "Diane please, we can't do this with-out you. We need you. Please." "Okay, here I go." She swims down just as the as the air pocket is gone and

now the others have to hold their breaths. They are losing it until Diane pushes down on the tile and the ceiling begins to open. When its fully opened like pours down. Diane

looks up to see the others sinking. She swims up and pushes with all her might to pushes them out of the water with them all taking in a big breath. Once everyone is out

Diane crawls back out of the water exhausted. Rose putting her right hand on her. "Nice one back there. Thank you." "Your welcome." Another door opens with writing above

it. Ms. M, "Congrats. You realize that while an induvial can be a source of strength. It is only when you see the strength in others and acknowledge their value that you all can

find the means to victory." Rose, "You got that right. Come on team we're almost through. I can feel it."

They come to find themselves at the edge of a bottomless pit. Rose, "What is this?" Gladys, "A bottomless pit. What falls in. Falls forever. Watch." She picks up a large rock

and drops it over the edge. Kattie putting her hand to her ear, "Nothing." Donna points towards a folded-up draw bridge. "Hey check this out. That bridge is our way across.

We lower that and we are on our way. Look around for a lever." Cassie points out, "Found it, but it's on the other side." Sora, "Hey guys look at this." She shows them a mural

on the wall. She sees that a depiction of Cassie ahead of the group then writing appears again. Rose, "Ms. M?" "On it. It says, only when the one who thinks they are all fear

chooses to not be fear. Will the unseeable bridge appear to prevent the ones fall shall that one secure safe passage for all." Sora then touches the mural and they see Cassie

walking out across the gorge onto empty air to the other side. Veronica, "That was a lot of help." Kattie, "She just walked out into empty air." Cassie, "Are you saying that I

walked out onto nothing." Ms. M, "No not nothing. It said that only when you are with-out fear will the unseen bridge appear. I think it means that in-order for you cross you

must not be afraid." "But I'm always scared." "Well, I'll let you in on a little secret. I get scared too. If you're not feeling fear, then you are not alive. I learned long ago that

feeling fear is natural but giving into fear is a choice you make. It's okay to be scared, but you must make the conscious choice to not give not it." "But I'm going to step out

onto nothing." Rose looks around until saying, "Ah ha." She ties a rope around Kattie that's just long enough to span the gorge. Rose, "Now we have rope. But you're not

going to need it…" "I want the rope!" "Ok, I'm just saying you're not going to need because I know that invisible bridge will save you. Now you need to trust that it will be

there." Cassie stands on the edge looking down. Gladys, "Come on missy while we're still alive here." Cera, "Yeah I'll be older than her by the time you finally cross." Rose

changing into Rex form, "Enough! You're not helping." She changes back to her human form and puts her hand on Cassie's shoulder, "It's okay, we'll be here, and the rope will

be there to catch you. There's nothing to worry about." Cassie, "Ok." She takes a step instantly falls screaming, "I'm dead! I'm dead! I'm dying, my life is over!" Rose, "It's

ok, its ok we got yah." After she is pulled up Cera says, "Ok you fell. Now was that really so bad?" "Yes!" "Are you still alive?" "Yes." Okay now you know what the worst thing

that could happen is. So, there's nothing else to be afraid of, right?" "Yes." Rose, "Hey, you can do this I believe in you." Cassie looking out again says to herself with her eyes

closed, "You can do this Cassie. Do not choose to give into fear." She swallows hard. Takes a step and around golden solid base forms under her foot to catch her. Everybody

and even Cassie shouts, "Yeah!" she takes another and almost falls before Kattie pulls her back. Rose, "You have to trust and be with-out fear for every step." "Right." She

continues to cross the gorge. A smile starts to form on her face as she calls back, "You still have the rope?" Rose, "We sure do. Whoo hoo! Cassie is fearless!" Then look of

worry appears on Rose and everybody's faces as the rope around Cassie comes un-done as she shouts, "This is amazing!" The rope falls. Rose, "Yeah but just keep going.

Don't stop, in fact don't turn around until you are standing right next to the bridge on the other side." Cassie, "You still got the rope, right?" Rose looking distraught as she

holds the end of the rope in her hands, "Yeah! I got it!" "I am not afraid! Oh, wow this is so easy now. I could stand out here all day if I wanted." Rose, "Okay but please get

to the other side and lower the bridge. Alright!" "Heck yeah. Here it comes your way." But as she is saying it, she briefly turns around and sees the rope in Rose's hands and

realizes it's not around her anymore. Her fear returns and she falls. Everyone screams, but then Cassie catches the side of the ledge on the other side and is able to pull

herself up and lowers the bridge to allow the others to cross. Kattie hugs her with such joy. Cassie looks at them asking, "How long was the rope gone." Sora, "Oh… Just the

entire second half." "I needed that rope." Rose, "Oh, but did you? Or did you convince yourself that needed when in fact you didn't really need it to be safe?" Cassie looks over

again, and with a smile quietly says, "I guess I didn't."

They come before another door with writing. Ms. M, "You are now just one challenge away from completing the trials of strength. The only way to pass is defeat your

opponent by recognizing what is true strength and what is greater. For two there are. One will crush you, but the other will secure your victory." They enter and see a tiny

Ultimasaurus figure flexing about acting strong but is only 3 inches high. Cera, "Huh piece of cake. I've got this gang." Rose, "Hang on Cera. The clue said two kinds of

strength but only one will defeat your opponent." Cera, "Rose look at him. What other strength do you need." She steps into the ring and a transparent dome forms over her

and the opponent. She steps on him. "Did it!" Then her foot starts being pushed up, "Wait what's going on?" Then she is thrown off and sees the little guy got bigger. "Okay,

you're tougher than you look, but you will beat me." She slams him which makes him double in size again. She body slams him, and he becomes her size. She strikes him

again and now he is twice her size and then is ten times her size. He tries to double hammer fist her into the ground. Rose shouts, "Cera he is like a sponge. Every time you

attack him. He absorbs the energy and just gets bigger and stronger. You are making him stronger by fighting him." Cera avoids being crushed. She shouts, "Then how am I

supposed to beat him?" Avoiding another punch. Donna tells Rose and Ms. M, "Look what's happening? Every time Cera attacks he absorbs the energy and as a results gets

bigger and stronger. But every time he attacks her, he gets a little smaller and weaker." Ms. M, "Of course violence is a self-destructive cycle. The more you try to fight on

your own strength the more energy you give." Ms. M, "Cera, listen you need to not fight back." Cera, "What?! Are you crazy?" "Trust me. You need let him do all the attacking

and return his attacks with your own or he will win." Rose, "I know it sounds crazy, but I think she's right." Cera, "But what if she's wrong?" "Well, that's a risk you're going to

need to take." Cera with big, disgruntled sigh, "Alright. Let's just hope this crazy plan works." He tries to body slam her, but she avoids, and he gets smaller again. He tries to

smash her again. He misses and makes the floor crack while reducing in size. He grabs her and pushes her up against the dome wall and begins punching her. All the while

she is taking the beatings. He keeps getting smaller and weaker. Until when he punches again his fist shatters to dust. Then when he is back to his original size and

thoroughly exhausted. Cera kneels down with a little push on the head just gently makes him fall back and he shatters to dust. This makes the dome come down. She is

covered in bruises and has a broken horn now. She collapses but is caught in the other's arms with Rose saying, "We gotcha champ." Another vile appears on the pedestal."

Sora takes it and brings it to Cera, "Here drink this. It will taste terrible, but it will make you right as rain." Cera, "Blah! You were right. It does taste like crap. But I can feel it

working."

The last door opens with the writing appearing. Ms. M, "Though strength of body can get you through the challenges of flesh. It is the strength of spirit that insure true

victory. For often while the strength to have the courage to fight is important. Violence will just result in more violence and will ultimately result in destruction for all. Whereas

it often takes even greater strength to choose to stand your ground and choose not to fight back. For fighting violence with violence just breeds more violence. But when you

fight evils might without violence. It loses its power until it has nothing left to feed off of. Congratulations, the way to the last set of trials awaits you beyond this portal."

Rose, "Okay everybody we've all been through a lot with this set of trials. Let's take a little time to regain our strength before pressing on." Gladys, "Are you sure that's

wise?" Rose, "Time works differently here. Hopefully the others will be able to hold out till we complete the last trials."

She steps through and sees the door that says, 'Trials of the Heart await you here.' Rose, "I'm almost there Max, just try to hang int a little longer my love. I'm coming back

for you."
