Final Round
Nightwing huffed, trying to stop the twitching from being thoroughly electrocuted was something he was trained in but, not fond of. He looked up and just barely managed to see the massive source of light erupting from the sphere before him; the one he was supposed to protect.
He got to one knee, spotting the surge of energy consuming Vilgax in bright light as a liquid of red and black slowly wrapped around his skin. He looked exactly like Alien X only, he was a bit taller, had red stars and aura rather than white, and his tendrils from his chin hung down to his upper torso.
"I can see everything now!" He summoned crimson lightning to cackled between his fingertips, he stared down at his hands in awe at his own abilities. He sent a surge of red electricity across his entire body, conducting off of his skin, "It's all so very clear, every single atom is visible," he reached out and waved his hand through a cloud of molecules only visible to himself, "I can shape existence to my will…"
Conner stood up, dusting himself off, he blinked at Vilgax facing the opposite direction; normally, he'd take the advantage to blind-side him but, he was afraid he'd be wiped from existence if he tried.
Dr. Fate stood and clapped his hands together, "As a Lord of Order I cannot let this act of heresy stand! The cosmic hierarchy must be maintained!" he quickly fired a golden beam of mystical energy into Vilgax's newly formed celestial back.
The pressure of the attack knocked him off hiss feet, pushing him face first into the maternal Celstialsapien's hand.
When the smoke cleared, there wasn't a scratch on him but, he was still recovering from being pushed over; he clearly didn't have all of his power maintained just yet.
"Dr. Fate, I knew after studying this Universe from a cell for five years that you would be the Justice League's greatest threat to me," Vilgax aimed his palm up at the Lord of Order and formed crimson lightning in his hands again, "I will test my newfound power on you!" he fired the electricity like a bolt of lightning missing at first, he fired another connecting with a mystical shield.
Fate countered with a spell that summoned an Anch below his adversary, this spell projected golden tendrils that wrapped themselves around his limbs attempting to pull him into some sort of portal.
Black Canary, Nightwing, and Batgirl backed away in fear of how Vilgax appeared to be on the verge of exerting his new strength which they couldn't have been more right about.
He flexed his muscles and sent a shockwave outwards shattering Fate's spell and his forcefield, sending him back through the air, "These new powers are difficult to control but, I do believe I am…" he looked towards Dr. Fate and reached his palm out, controlling the very atoms around the lord's body, Vilgax swiped his hand, transmutating his entire body to marble.
The bust of Dr. Fate fell fifty feet to the ground, shattering on impact into four or five different pieces, "Adjusting."
"I think we just lost…" He stated firmly as Nightwing ground his teeth in anger.
Suddenly, Spiritus and Sunny felt a sudden pressure, like massive weights had been placed on their shoulders; this weight also pinned Nightwing, Conner, Canary, and Batgirl.
Time and space folded over as something warped into the dimension by sheer strength, "Not if I have anything to say about it," Alien X appeared in a burst of green light floating above the battle scene, eyeing Fate's corpse; he glared down at them, reforming and reverting Zatara's body back to a normal living human. The Helmet of Fate floated up into Alien X's grasp, "I'll take this for safe keeping…" it warped out of his hands with a thought as he kept his attention on Vilgax.
They all adjusted themselves, resisting the sheer force of the two most powerful entities in existence standing before them; Sunny and Spiritus were particularly shocked at the control Ben was utilizing over this form, it was unheard of.
"We've already delegated, you end here and now," Alien X slowly landed in front of Vilgax, still examining his own new form; the energy encasing his skin wasn't armor, it was cosmic dimensional power that humans haven't even seen yet, until now.
He took a step forwards, "If only we were equals… but, I know you still hear constant voices; even when in agreement the need to make decisions is not an easy one with this much power! My mind is clear and ready to exact my revenge!"
Alien X took a fighting stance, "Don't do this…"
Sunny and Veronica went wide eyed, giving each other the same look, "We need to go right now!" they shouted in unison, guiding the group backwards and away from the fight, "Portal now, Sunny!" She rushed as Sunny mustered the mana necessary for a trip back to Earth, "Hurry!"
"It can't be that dangerous to just be near them, can it?" Dinah asked but, nobody acknowledged her question as Sunny focused her mana into a sphere of purple energy floating three feet off the ground.
"C'mon, c'mon!"
Alien X and Vilgax floated upwards off the ground staring deeply into each other's eyes; their aura's clashed, sending static across the massive star-spangled palm. The portal opened and they all made their way through as quickly as they could, Sunny was the last one to see her cousins back surging with energy as the hole in reality sealed shut.
"Now that we can regroup-" Batgirl announced but, was interrupted.
"Hit the deck!" Veronica shouted above her, grabbing Nightwing and Conner and tossing them onto their stomachs; "Hands over your heads!" she formed a dome of mana around them, even in the Watchtower they still weren't safe from the fall out of what was to come. Canary and Batgirl did the same while Sunny reinforced her dome with a protection spell which manifested a massive symbol above them.
In the Forge, Alien X and Vilgax were in an empty space, floating far away from the hands of the Mother who just lost her child and couldn't even act on it. They were close to each other, so close their auras alone vibrated the entire dimension; even though the entire species was deep in thought and debate, they all turned their heads towards the battle. Whatever direction, they turned to around to watch them collide.
Vilgax reeled back and pounded his fist into the chest of Alien X, the shockwave of such a collision sent ripples of distortion through out the entire Forge itself. It didn't seem to disturb the other members of their race, though; "You think because you're a bit faster? The voices within my psyche have been controlling this power for countless eons!" Surging emerald lightning cackled around him as he floated a foot or two off the ground, a white aura exploded around him lining his entire body in cosmic energy, "The motion has been carried, Vilgax! It ends now!"
Vilgax swung his arm to right cross his opponent at trillions of times the speed of light, however; Alien X dipped back as if he were attacking in slow motion. He dropped below his punch and struck Vilgax in the stomach with his palm, exerting a force of incomprehensible pressure.
He hurtled through space until he exited the chronal-randomization barrier and tumbled into nothing, dark, empty, nothing. The space between two Universes hide this place well, seeing it now physically was a sight he wanted to bask on but, would have to wait.
Alien X exited the Forge himself, the plank-instant he caught Vilgax with his senses, he rushed over to him in a matter of attoseconds, ramming the conqueror and sending him backwards towards their Universe.
"Surrender!"
Vilgax recovered and growled, his body was becoming more entuned with his new power, slowly becoming one with the cosmic energy he'd absorbed. Alien X was relentless though, using his immeasurable speed to blitz Vilgax, right hook, left straight, left hook, jab-hook combo.
He sent another fist into Vilgax's close quarters, only this one never made contact, or rather, was intercepted quite precisely; "Never!" his six-dimensional crimson hands expanded into thick, beefy, fists which slammed Alien X's jaw, sending a thundering boom through both adjacent Universes. This attack also propelled Ben back into their reality, flinging him through billions of light years in a few seconds, he finally impacted a planet, shattering it with the sheer velocity of his landing. The celestial rock split apart as Vilgax followed him at the same speeds, not giving him time to counter, Alien X could only block the incoming punch with his forearm.
The resulting shockwave tore the planet completely asunder, ripping it to shreds as Vilgax began filtering through the energy spectrum, he focused his thoughts as Alien X retaliated with his free hand. Manipulating gravity and pulling him into the ground, he approached looking down on the nigh-omnipotent conqueror, "You have no comprehension for the forces with which you tamper!" He increased the gravity around Vilgax a million fold, quaking apart the remaining city sized structure they fought on.
Alien X formed gravity in between his palms at such an intensity that a black hole formed but, unlike nature, he had full control over it. He held it above his head allowing it to grow in size, larger than car, larger than a house, larger than a building. He finally swung his arms down, sending the inconceivable warp in gravity at Vilgax like an attack.
Speaking of whom, he quickly broke free of Alien X's gravity-hold and increased his power, he searched through the energy spectrum and found something interesting; as the black hole collided with his hands, he coated them with anti-matter which actually allowed him to stop it with his bare hands.
He took the black hole into his hands and condensed it back into a smaller sphere, smaller and smaller until its event horizon vanished completely.
Vilgax smiled, he collected more anti-matter and slashed a massive wave of it, encompassing Alien X completely; he managed to form a shield of emerald around himself but, like acid the energy Vilgax used melted through.
"These new powers are useful, in more ways than one."
Alien X dispersed his shield and narrowed his eyes; his body flexed with cosmic lightning surging through a clear aura, strengthening his physical attributes to their nigh-limitless capacity. He charged forwards at only a few duodecillion times faster than the speed of light itself, reeling his fist back preparing to land the killing blow.
Vilgax charged his own crimson aura, his own cosmic lightning, strengthening his own physical body to impossible degrees; using speeds relative to his opponents, he charged forth meeting Alien X in the middle.
As their fists clashed, nuclear fusion was sparked and an explosion the size of a star shook the entire Multiverse; shockwaves reverberated through every timeline, every reality, every planet, star, and Galaxy in existence.
The shaking reached the Watchtower obviously, shaking it intensely, luckily not removing it from Earth's orbit; it was almost impossible for them to understand the forces that collided on their behalf.

M'gaan, Arsenal, Wonder Girl, Beast Boy, and Impulse teleported into the outer shell of the massive satellite; the entire structure was metallic and highly advanced but, Albedo had scans of most of it.
Miss Martian led them through the mostly abandoned structure towards the holding facility, they stayed completely quiet understanding the serious nature of their mission.
Even Bart held back his quips and sarcastic remarks; they stopped when they heard voices around a corner, two voices in particular, "You only get paid half because she got away," Black Manta insisted towards Deathstroke, "I didn't pay for half a kidnapping, you're lucky she completed her task otherwise you wouldn't be getting anything."
He folded his armored arms across his chest, "Whatever, if you want my continued services, the Light will have to pay my standard fee anyways."
"I have access to all of Vandal Savages funds, you will be paid, Deathstroke, trust that," they turned and left the room, walking into an empty hallway.
They both went right, which was perfect as they needed to head left; M'gaan floated above them both holding Arsenal and Impulse with telekinesis, Black Beetle floated on his own accord with Beast Boy transformed into a mouse on his shoulder.
"Mission is going as planned, let's keep moving."

War World; Deep Space; May 17th 2019
Meanwhile Ken, Virgil, Asami, Eduardo, and Tai boom tubed into a massive room, a holding facility of some kind which held massive carousels of stasis cages with red barriers all around them.
"So, we do this, and we pay our debt to Luthor for helping us out?" Virgil asked, keeping his head on a swivel.
"Exactly, its not a big deal, we sneak in and steal this crystal-key whatever and then use Father-Box to teleport home," Ken held a device the size of a smartphone in his hands which hummed and led him towards the objective.
"I don't know about this," Tai announced, "I mean, a giant war ship in the middle of space, what if the teleporter breaks and we get stuck here?"
Eduardo chimed in, "Sounds like something we should have asked before accepting."
Asami was quiet as Ken transformed into XLR8 and slipped his visor down, "How about I go get the key and you guys wait here?"
"I like that idea…" Tai muttered.
Virgil scoffed, "Isn't it like rule number one in horror movies not to split up?"
"He's right," a familiar voice echoed from the entrance of the room across the massive holding sector, "I owe you a rematch, meat," Black Beetle slammed his fist on the key-pad which shut the door and its security locks behind him.
"This guy again?!" Eduardo shouted, "He's worse than my father!"
"Much worse," he chuckled as each of his heavy steps were more ominous than the last, "Luckily, you have a choice. Hand me the device to locate the key or I'll search for it on your corpses."
"We should just do what he says, find another way to Earth…" Tai reasoned, "I don't really care where I am as long as it's not with my Grandfather."
"No," Ken insisted, like something had taken over him, it was like he was a different person, "We fight to kill."
"What?!"
Virgil reasoned, "Dude, If Ben Ten Thousand couldn't beat this guy, what makes you think you can?"
"Make a decision, now," Beetle demanded.
They all faced him prepared to surrender but, instead Ken transformed into Upchuck, using his tongue to scoop through the ground, literally. Black smiled in response and formed a sonic canon out of his arm, "I was hoping you would resist," he aimed his shot as a blast of pure sound collided with plasma from Ken's stomach. The resulting explosion stunned Black Beetle and allowed Upchuck to transform, from another flash of light emerged a blue and black blur of speed, dashing away leaving the kids to fend for themselves.
Virgil pulled a silver disc from his jacket pocket, "Scatter!" he tossed it and used his purple electricity to hold it midair, jumping on and riding it away as another sonic blast hit between Eduardo and Tai, knocking them both onto their backs. Asami used his chi-manipulation to propel herself forwards at an angle that that Beetle hadn't seen but, she just bounced off him, landing on her ass.
She was saved by a blur of raw speed but, she wasn't expecting a human boy instead of a velociraptor alien; Impulse vibrated them both through the wall as he reported back to M'gaan, "Not only is the target in there but also the kids we were imprisoned by the Reach with."
Miss Martian narrowed her eyes, "Then we're going in, be prepared to evade and retreat, we just need to get them out of there."
"Did I forget to mention it was Black Beetle attacking them?" Bart chuckled, "I may have forgotten to mention that."
They were prepared to move when suddenly, everything went silent; a vigorous shaking forced even Black Beetle off balance. A shockwave sent through space hit the War World even from a thousand Galaxies away.
Virgil tried to steady his disc but, fumbled and slammed into one of the carousels, "Oh boy, I did not sign up for-" he blinked as he stared at the injured heroes trapped in stasis, "This."
Black Beetle fell to one knee, his scanners going haywire at the readings of such power physically hitting the massive ship; to shake a structure of this magnitude to this degree would take unfathomable power.
M'gaan looked out the window and into space as she felt the shaking, she was about to enter the battle field with thin odds of success but, her focus was on the love of her life for the sake of the everything once again, even across an ocean of stars, she still felt close to him.

Rimbor; Deep Space; May 17th 2019
The entire city, nay, the entire planet shook vigorously as in the court room there was a hearing in session with the jury still delegating on the Justice League's fate.
Superman, Wonder Woman, John Stewart, Martian Manhunter, Hawkgirl, and Batman were shackled and awaiting their final trial when an impossible quake shook the entire planet to its core. Even Superman himself found it hard to keep his balance as they all looked amongst each other wondering what had caused it.
"What in the world…"
Even though John couldn't manifest his constructs while shackled he still held a telepathic link with his personal ring, "My ring can't read the energy that's causing this but, its everywhere. Not just Earth or Rimbor but… everywhere!"
Superman used his ex-ray vision to scan the space around Rimbor, "I don't see anything or anyone around the planet; what could be doing this from so far away?"
…
Alien X was careful to dip backwards avoiding a right hook before upper-cutting Vilgax through an abandoned moon, shattering it as he flew in to deliver another blow; catching his fist sent a burst of pressure out around them, Vilgax used his cosmic might to funnel a powerful electrocution through Alien X forcing them to separate.
His opponent was completely unharmed as smoke drifted off of his back momentarily, or at least what looked like smoke; "Is that all you got?"
Vilgax ignited his eyes crimson red firing cosmic heat beams into Alien X's shoulder; he recoiled in pain for one of the first times as the energy he was attacking with was beyond the heat of a trillion stars. He put his hand out as the beam reflected off his celestial skin, he narrowed his eyes in pain but responded with a beam of energy of his own.
From his palm came a cosmic blast of untold proportions, black and green naturally colliding with crimson red in the all-consuming darkness of space, this lit the solar system like a Supernova.
Vilgax flew through the explosion, pouncing on a more experienced enemy was a good strategy for any battle aside from this one. Alien X stopped time, stopping Vilgax inches from his face, "I told you, this ends now!" He reeled a fist back and bashed the side of his face with the force of the Big Bang in between his fingers. The resulting shockwave sent him hurtling back through space towards Earth, still light years away as Ben was aiming to send him to Oa. The only place in the Universe with anything close to the power needed to help him, though, it was the best of a bad situation.
The shockwave nearly cracked open time-space itself as it shattered the surrounding stars for ten thousand light years, destabilizing their fusion and erupting in millions of massive supernovae; a long dead Galaxy was completely erased and Vilgax was sent hurtling through the darkness, dumbfounded.
Alien X warped through space, materializing only a few hundred feet from Vilgax whom was fuming mad over being outclassed, even now. He quickly increased his size and mass, growing to be large enough to hold planets in the palm of his hand, "I will not know defeat again!" He swiped his hand downwards which only dispersed an illusion of his enemy, like an apparition; soon he was surrounded by dozens of Alien X's forming powerful attacks.
"Enough!" He shouted sending an omnidirectional wave of antimatter that erased everything for a thousand miles except for Alien X, whom was only taken aback by it a little.
"You can't beat me, this can go on forever; you said you wanted to bring order to the Multiverse, and this is the way to do it?" He waved his hands around at the light-years of destruction surrounding them, "This type of domination breeds nothing but death, and destruction."
He was interrupted when Vilgax reached out to grab him resulting in Alien X breaking free and growing to fight at the level of size his opponent had grown to. Their fists faster than light and larger than planets caused massive explosions around them lighting up the void of space like a clear day.
Vilgax blasted him back with an immense burst of photons, shrinking down to melee size again, he tackled Alien X through space at millions of times light speed, they flew through the void and into the Milky Way Galaxy; bouncing off of stars one after the other in a massive struggle.
Vilgax uppercutted Alien X backwards into an asteroid roughly the size of Manhattan, shattering it with his back, however; the hero used this to his advantage by manipulating the molecules of the space-rocks. He sharpened down every fragment and sent them hurtling towards Vilgax with one gesture; he finally managed to pull up a crimson bubble to stop the attacks but, as he did this he left his backside wide open.
Not really, the bubble protected him completely but, the asteroids were just a distraction to allow Alien X to teleport behind him and shatter his shield with a single punch, sending him down into Jupiter.
The intense pull of gravity was noticeable but, not impressive to either of them as they stood in a massive storm; thundering that would shatter glass, rain that would cut through concrete, winds that could blow down houses. They stood in the midst of it all, two opposing forces of good and evil but, which side was which was far more subjective than once assumed.
They dashed forwards, the gravity being so much greater than Earth's, it slowed them down just a bit; enough to keep their brawl Planet bound, for now.
"You'd tear everything apart just to rebuild it?"
"If that is what it takes, I will pay any price!"
Alien X and Vilgax charged towards each other at extreme speeds, clashing with their fingers intertwined; deadlocked against one another, the ground below was vaporized into a massive crater leaving them floating. They pushed against one another for several very long seconds, the storm only grew more vicious, sending bolts of lightning down around them.
"I can't let you do what you did to me to anyone else!" Alien X summoned a third fist from between his pecks, being made of pure energy had its perks, quickly upper-cutting Vilgax just hard enough to have him staggering backwards.
He responded by stomping the ground and upheaving a continent; tearing apart the ground until molten lava seeped from the core. Alien X levitated upwards, the thundering booms and flashes of lightning set the scene very well; Vilgax fired his cosmic heat-vision which had become far more powerful than the first time he'd used it even after only a few minutes.
Ben intercepted with an emerald shield of energy, surprisingly, Vilgax shattered his force field and advanced with a right hook that sent Alien X into the ground, carving a trench with his body.
He opened his eyes just in time to roll over avoiding Vilgax coming down with both palms on where he'd been lying, rupturing the already disfigured planet. Alien X took this opportunity, this single momentary instance, to send a wave of dimensional energy into Vilgax's side sending him tumbling for miles. He dug his sharp claws into the ground, stopping his momentum and searching for his opponent; even without seeing him, he knew Alien X was directly above him.
"Stop this before you ruin everything! These powers are beyond you and you shouldn't have them! Nobody should!" Alien X sent a wave of intense gravity on Vilgax, increasing his mass by trillions, quadrillions… the entire planet was slowly crushed and condensed as Vilgax still fought the G's.
He struggled to open his arms as wide as they could get before clapping them together with such immeasurable physical strength that he created a sonic boom powerful enough to echo into space, vibrating other planets in the solar system. The shockwave was strong enough to force Alien X backwards giving Vilgax the opportunity to learn a few things about his power. He searched within himself and in only a few seconds he warped himself out of and through space. Appearing behind Alien X and bringing his clasped palms down on his back, Vilgax bombarded the crater his opponent landed in with a volley of photon-beams hotter than the core of the brightest star in the Universe.
Each blast vaporized chunks and chunks of ground as explosions sent dust and dirt upwards for miles, covering the planet with soot as it was slowly vaporized into chunks; leaving them both in deep space, as they swapped hands at incomprehensible speeds, each jab sent another shockwave that shook apart the Galaxy, leading to destruction of trillions of planets; Alien X teleported away as Vilgax's fist flew through him and the Celestialsapien appeared behind him with an uppercut to his solar plexus, rapidly sending attack after attack up into his chest until his final punch managed to blow a hole in the center of his body.
Alien X floated back preparing a beam of cosmic-energy lined with anti-matter as he condensed enough energy to wipe multiple-Universes out of existence into the palm of his hands allowing the energy to cackle and send electricity through reality itself; Vilgax managed to dodge the blast and redirect it back at Alien X who left his palm out to disperse such a force of energy at a whim, negating it entirely.
They advanced at septillions of times the speed of light and clashed fists once more, this time sending uncontrolled shockwaves throughout not just reality itself but, through every reality in the Multiverse, shaking infinite sets of Earths, infinite sets of Universes, and timelines as well as vibrating the very fabric of the dimensional hierarchy itself... such a force felt through multiple separate realities.

Earth-4304 - America - Amity Park - 2006 - 3:45PM.
As the most technologically advanced mayor ever elected, the city that the ghost-hero of the planet had saved had begun construction on a new utopian society moving forwards, since Danny Fenton or Danny Phantom, as the world knew him, protected this town and its citizens from the dangers of inter-dimensional entities known to the population as Ghosts, he doesn't rest until the city is safe all starting by accidently mixing his DNA with that of a ghosts, giving him the ability to fly, turn intangible, use ecto-energy, and much more; he recently graduated high-school after many years of struggling to hide his powers, he ended up saving the entire planet from a deadly-radiating asteroid that would have wiped the planet out entirely. He had plans with his girlfriend and couldn't be late again, no matter how many times the Box Ghost would threaten him, he'd rather be on Sam's good side at all times and was headed by air towards her house at that moment.
Danny used to hide every time he'd transform but, since becoming a celebrity, it was a simple as transforming at a moments notice; flying out in plain sight and thankfully able to make his plans on time; it wasn't until he was in the sky already that he realized there was a massive shockwave that briefly vibrated the entire planet, it didn't feel like it was coming from the ghost zone but, like the vibrations were everywhere around him.
He stopped midflight, Danny tapped into his communicator which he shared with Tucker, aforementioned mayor, and his girlfriend Sam, who usually strategized for them during more complex battles, "What am I looking at Tucker?" Danny shouted into his communicator over the wind and storms brewing above him, the planet continued to shake.
A voice responded through the speaker, "There's no Richter scale level for this type of quake, it isn't a ghost and it isn't just Earth; I think the whole Solar System might be shaking!"
Danny flew off continuing to his girlfriends house, phasing through the wall just in time to grab her and allow the entire building to come down around them, turning intangible through it until the last of the debris had fallen, "What is this?" she shouted as she shook on the ground; she was a bit shorter than him now but, her shoulder length black hair and purple eyes that could stare through him would never changed as he grabbed her by the waist.
"I have no idea what's happening, but, whatever it is... it's happening on a bigger scale than any of us...

War World; Deep Space; May 17th 2019
"Interruption or no," Black Beetle steadied himself and morphed his arm into a plasma cannon, "You're all dea-" he was interrupted by a giant astral fist slamming down on him from above.
Tai was barely controlling his powers in a forty-foot tall avatar but, had done the most damage thus far, "Sorry… heard that one before," he would have made another quip but, even the strength of his avatar was being over powered as Black Beetle lifted with his knees forcing the fist off of him.
He fired a plasma blast into his astral chest, sending him flying backwards and hitting a carousels of containment pods; Tai fell fifteen feet to the ground, knocking himself unconscious with the fall. His avatar did destroy that set of prisoner stasis pods which just so happened to contain the oldest remaining prisoner, Mongul.
M'gaan density shifted in with Blue Beetle and Beast Boy in tow; Bart grabbed Arsenal and Wonder Girl by the shoulders and chuckled, "You might feel a tickle…" vibrating himself and them by association through the wall onto the battle field.
"Beetle!?" A bellowing shout came from a broken stasis pod as the first thing Mongul saw as he stepped out was not the one who put him there but, a Reach insect. He knew well of the Reach and was going to use the War World to rid the Universe of them when his plans were so rudely interrupted, first things first, take back War World.
"Mongul…"
"You know me?" He snorted steam from his yellow nostrils as they came into close quarters.
"Through reputation, though, I am happy I get to be the one to stamp you out for good," Beetle stopped an incoming fist with a powerful sonic attack from a weapon on his chest, keeping Mongul just a few feet away.
He used his plasma arm to blast the towering titan backwards and his propulsion-pack to advance forwards tackling him through the room, hitting six or seven carousels; Mongul caught one of the huge stasis pods over head and used it to pin Beetle against the wall.
The entire team knew exactly how powerful Black Beetle was and anyone going toe to toe with him would be just as strong; they were trained to avoid situations like that. Beast Boy was just a mouse in M'gaan's cloak both camouflaged, Impulse scoped the area at speeds too fast to be noticed by the naked eye whilst Wonder Girl and Arsenal kept to the very corner of the room, trying to keep balance as Mongul and Beetle deadlocked with loud beefy grunts.
Virgil, Eduardo, and Asami found the control console with Tai unconscious right next to it; Virgil tried to summon the pod with the heroes in it but, the screen was cracked, "It's broken!"
"You said Aquaman is up there? We can't just leave them!" Eduardo shouted, tending to Tai as one of the pods flew passed them, hitting the wall next to them as they ducked with hands over head. Realizing that it wasn't meant for them sent waves of relief over them all.
"How do you suggest we get them out?!" Virgil shouted as a pulse of purple chi energy came from Asami's chest, shattering and destroying the console.
She shrugged, "No idea…"
This conveniently activated the carousel, lowering the hero's pod towards them; "Tai!" Blue Beetle shouted as he flew over and observed his friends' condition, "What the hell are you guys doing here?!" he shouted at them.
"No time for that now," M'gaan appeared almost from thin air as she de-camouflaged in front of them, "We have to get everyone out of here…"
The stasis pod landed and unfroze the hostages as they fell to their knees or immediately unconscious; in Aquaman's case. Power Girl hobbled to the edge, finding teenagers and only one familiar face, "M'gaan…" she muttered with bruises and cuts across her suit, her breasts were practically hanging out. The only thing keeping the boys from being boys was the literal life or death situation in front of them, "We tried… but, Vilgax… he…"
She supported the Kryptonian with an arm around her shoulder, "We know, it's okay; Beetle take Aquaman, Cassandra grab Tornado's head and rip it off his body."
Captain Atom huffed, holding the side of his suit which revealed a glowing slit from within, "Good job on the rescue," he was otherwise okay but, if not for stasis he would have exploded like a thermo-nuclear bomb by now.
Beetle tried not to get blood on his armor from Arthur's missing appendage; Cassandra carefully and relectunatly tore the mechanical crimson head off of Red Tornado's beaten and broken body, "Are you sure I didn't break him?"
"No more than he already was," Arsenal commented as he kept his attention on the wrestling titans.
"We need to get to the extraction point," M'gaan turned to face her team, "We're too deep into the ship to catch a zeta-tube from here."
Bart perked up, "I can carry one of them, maybe two?"
"We don't need your help getting out of here!" Eduardo shouted.
Virgil elbowed him quickly, covering his mouth with his hand to shield what he was saying, "Dude… Ken totally ran off with the father-can thing."
"Actually, we'd be greatfu-"
M'gaan quickly shattered the casual atmosphere and grabbed Virgil by the shoulders, "You said Ken is here? Where did he go?" she asked frantically.
"We don't know!" Tai said with his head still aching, "The asshole took off the moment Beetle showed up, some friend he turned out to be, we should never have trusted Lex Luthor!"
Wonder Girl gasped, "Did you say Lex Luthor?"
…
Black Beetle fired a sonic attack from a combined weapon made of both his arms; the sound was strong enough to strip someone's skin off their bones, except Mongul powered through. He knelt quickly and punched the ground sending a shockwave outward, shaking the entire satellite briefly, and knocking Beetle off his feet.
Mongul left-hooked Beetle in the chin sending him back first into a stasis pod, however; he grabbed his opponent and took him with him. Inside the pod, Mongul successfully landed another blow to Beetle's chin sending him out of the pod; it took only a few seconds to realize his mistake but, it was a few seconds too many. Beetle quickly slammed his palm on the console screen beside his pod, freezing Mongul once again.
"Mindless thug is stronger than I expected," Black Beetle dusted his hands off as he looked around at an empty room, he'd completely forgotten about the children he'd found. It didn't matter, he needed to secure the key and the control crown for the Reach before anything else got in the way.
He looked towards the door and noticed a crimson arrow impaling the keypad and a quick-dry concrete solution covering the exit, "Damn, rodents."

In the engine room, a large machine of some sort slowly lost all of its power like a car when you take the key out of the ignition; Ken stood in his human form, staring blankly at it, he was empty handed and empty minded for several minutes before the door was finally broken down.
Wonder Girl punched it open but, M'gaan took the lead on moving inside; the others kept watch on the corridors as nothing M'gaan did startled his trance, he just stared. She quickly grabbed his wrist, looking over his watch, on the black-band there was a chip placed firmly on the back opposite to the dial.
She tried to touch it but, it electrocuted her causing her to recoil, "It won't come off…"
Cassandra cracked her knuckles, "Let me try," she grabbed his wrist and looked into his emerald eyes, they were greener when she was this close… she couldn't let him down, not when she was just starting to figure out what this was between them. She put her fingers on the chip and it shocked her, however; with her Amazonian strength and durability she withstood it as it became more powerful the further, she got it from the watch.
The bio-feedback discharge sent M'gaan flying against the wall, denting a large industrial pipe with her head; when the smoke cleared, Cassandra held Ken in her arms, his watch still operational only, smoking slightly. In her palm was dust, she'd crushed the device whist trying to remove it but, she didn't care.
His eyes fluttered open, the first thing he saw was Cassandra looking down at him with her bangs splayed out hanging in front of his face, "Hey," he muttered, looking around.
"Hey," she responded with a chuckle, sitting him up properly, her cheeks were as rosy as they get but, as he began to recall more and more, his good mood faded, "Oh, no…" he dragged his hands across his face, "I've been spying, giving out intel, I don't know why I couldn't stop mys-" She tightened her grip on his hands on a comforting way.
"It wasn't your fault," she reminded him as M'gaan groaned and rubbed the back of her head.
She approached slowly, "She's right, we aren't perfect, nobody is; you didn't choose to betray anyone."
"Thanks… Mom…"
Giving him a warm smile, she responded, "We met like two months ago, just call me M'gaan…"

Deep Space
Having infinite stamina and equal raw power made this battle incredibly hard to finish; as the darkness of empty space was ignited by flashes of green and red clashing and colliding in a psychedelic trip of powerful shockwaves. They circled one another at septillions of times the speed of light, hitting the other and retreating with a bright powerful aura around them both.
Jupiter had been reduced completely to rubble and debris as beams of energy flew out into space, hopefully never colliding with anything or they'd suffer the same fate.
Sending waves of crimson lightning was useless as a cosmic shield formed in front of Alien X absorbing the kinetic energy and turning itself into a beam of his own, clipping the conqueror's shoulder blade.
He formed massive blade out of nothingness, using his little skill over manipulating molecules to materialize a five-foot executioner's blade. He was less adept with being all-powerful so, he didn't realize how futile melee weapons are in a battle such as this one.
He advanced, swinging the blade at irrelevant speeds, finally using time to his advantage; he froze the entire Universe's timestream just to attempt an attack, however; Alien X has already mastered the concept of time itself and surpassed it. Thus, every swing was dodged or blocked, even as he came down on the celestial to cleave him in two, Ben caught the blade in his glowing hands, shattering it with a simple swipe of his hands.
Vilgax gathered all of his energy into a single point, funneling it through his entire body; charging every ounce of cosmic power he had access to increase the odds, he'd come too far he couldn't give up now.
Ben floated passively, holding out a hand and gesturing for him to attack arrogantly; Vilgax flew forwards at beyond fifth dimensional speed, becoming so fast that the concept of speed meant nothing. Alien X effortlessly did the same, harnessing his speed in such an impressive way that only sheer skill and experience could have granted it.
Alien X and Vilgax collided in the same instant, Ben's fist in Vilgax's face and vice versa; simultaneously sending them both backwards with aching faces, had they not controlled the strength of their collision, they would have torn down the entire story, their entire Omniverse at risk of crumbling.
Leaving no time for a counter, Alien X teleported behind Vilgax and plunged his fist through his chest to where he could see his arm when he looked down; "I'm taking back what you stole!"
As he pulled his arm out of Vilgax's chest, he pulled on his celestial power with it; sucking it out slowly as he could feel his strength fading, his power sapping.
"NO!" Vilgax grabbed his arm and tried to keep his power but, Alien X was far more skilled in manipulating reality than he was and it was too much for him to stop, however; with what little strength he did have left, he teleported away.
Vanishing into the darkness, Alien X looked around quickly, first with his eyes and then again with his Omniscient senses, "No…" he muttered at first, "NO!" shouting to the almighty heaven above, who does God pray to when he is in distress?

M'gaan, Power Girl, Beast Boy, Arsenal, Captain Atom, and Impulse made their way on foot whilst Beetle and Cassandra carried the injured toward the extraction zone. With Ken in the arms of M'gaan, Virgil, Asami, Eduardo, and Tai were only shortly behind.
"Here we are," M'gaan noted as she leaned Kara up against the wall and laid Ken down in front of them, "Clear for teleport," she spoke into her communicator.
"Actually," Arsenal spoke up, "I have something to say…" he stepped up to the run-away's and pointed at Ken, "Lex Luthor used this kid to get in your heads, it may not be his fault, but you know whose fault it is."
"Arsenal, that's enough."
Roy turned sharply, "Don't pull on my leash; Ken was programmed to find these kids so they'd help him steal whatever the heck was powering this place when we got here!"
Virgil rubbed his chin as Tai stepped forwards, "He's right, we can't trust any of these guys…"
Blue Beetle tried supporting Arthur and contesting but, it wasn't working, "Tai… you have to trust me…"
He took a moment before responding, "I don't… I don't trust anyone."
Asami didn't directly understand English but, context clues and every sixth or seventh word made enough sense to tell she wanted to go with the only people that treated her like a person since she was abducted.
"Well, when we get home you all can do whatev-"
Arsenal held a silver box with a red circular symbol on the front, "This was the father thing you were talking about that got you here, right?" M'gaan was shocked, she didn't even see him lift it from Ken at any point.
"Yea!" Virgil stepped behind Arsenal and put a hand on his shoulder, Eduardo, Tai, and Asami doing the same with him and Virgil, "We can make our own way."
"You don't know what your doing," M'gaan reasoned as they all watched.
Virgil looked to the ground as Roy held the Father-Box up, "I think for the first time since I left home, I know exactly what I'm doing."
Before being able to stop them, Asami announced, "Fatha box; home please!" in a strained Japanese accent; the box hummed akin to Sphere only deeper and more aggressive as it opened a massive wormhole below them, teleporting them away instantly.

Watchtower; Earth Orbit; May 17th 2019; 11:45AM
M'gaan, Nightwing, Sunny, Spiritus, Black Canary and Captain Atom all stood in the holo-ring, looking for signs of Ben but, to no avail.
"I'm almost afraid to say this but," Atom held the ice pack to his head and resisted the urge to scratch the mend in his suit, "Mission report."
Nightwing stepped up first, "Gamma tried to stop Vilgax from taking a piece of the map and… lost, Black Adam was killed, we have Green Arrow and Shazam in critical condition as well as Albedo."
Atom threw his hands up, "The hell happened to him?"
"He tried to stop Vilgax from getting yet another piece…"
Atom scoffed, "Awfully noble of him."
M'gaan folded her arms, "All that matters is that he's cooperating so we can check Ken's watch for anymore bugs, I'd have Ben do it but…"
"He used Alien X to save Zatanna from Dr. Fate and Fate from Vilgax, so… he's being treated in the general hospital for the equivalent of mystical vertigo," Canary explained as best she could even with all of her degrees and education, there wasn't a class in the world that could teach her how to handle this.
"And finally, the news we've been avoiding," Atom practically set up a drum roll.
Nightwing sighed loudly, running his hands through his hair, "After a long battle, I believe Ben Ten Thousand is-"
"Right behind you?" He said softly, he was solemn and quiet as he approached. No one heard him come in, he didn't make a sound as he approached with his hands in his pockets.
They spun to face Ben in a totally healthy state, completely unharmed, "You fought Vilgax after he… did you win?" Dick asked as soon as he laid eyes on him.
He looked down to his shoes as the entire room grew quiet, "No…" he walked passed Nightwing and Canary until he was standing a foot away from M'gaan, "I took ninety-five percent of his powers and reformed the baby; I also hid the Forge while I was at it."
Dick glanced at Dinah as he took his mask off, "Dude… are you okay?"
"He escaped again…" he looked down into M'gaan's brown eyes, pulling her head into his chest, she accepted his embrace but, with hesitation as they all stared at him, "I failed… again."
"It's only five percent… how bad could it be?" Atom asked honestly.
