Lee gets a weird feeling from this guy. He gives him a narrow eyed stare down, and suddenly it clicks and he begins feeling sick. Justin's earlier comments from the other night, the way Becca and him acted around each other when compared to others, the oddly.. Sensual relationship they seemed to share. He looks back at the treeline.

"I'm gonna get back to work now." He says.

Danny must realize he's been discovered, as he immediately goes from relaxed to on guard. "Oh, yeah, n-no problem man."

They stare off into the distance for a bit, until Danny breaks the silence. "..hey, you won't tell no one, right?" After a few seconds of contemplation, Lee decides to just give Danny a look of stern disgust before turning his head back to the parking lot. Sure enough, a few walkers start showing up, their groans turning them visible before they can even stumble out of the bushes. "I'll, uh.. I'm gonna go deal with these."

"Sure." Danny stands up and leaves with his gun in both arms. He looks down at Lee for a few seconds, sighs and then walks away. Lee sees him take out a few walkers with his rifle, quite loudly, just as Becca reappears with bags of spicy chips. She walks towards the edge of the roof as the door closes and raises a brow.

"Uh, why is he shooting? He knows that it'll draw walkers, right?" She asks, giving Lee his snack already opened.

"Beats me."

"Here. Sorry for my attitude. You seem capable enough. More capable than Luke's group, anyway." He places the bag in his lap and starts eating from the inside. It's refreshingly tasty.

"That's how we've stayed alive this long." Lee replies, nodding at her.

"Either that, or you had someone take care of you. Me and my sis, we were on our own for a while." Becca says, eating a handful of chips.

"So were we. It's easier to have someone to rely on than to stick it out alone." He turns to face her, getting more into the conversation.

"That's what I tried telling her before we escaped our first group, and it's true. We're only alive because of Bill and this place."

Wanting to change the subject to something a bit less serious, Lee says, "You, uh, like Clementine? You're the first kid she's met in a long time that's even close to her age."

Becca thinks, then slowly begins answering. "Clementine's.. Fine, I guess. Maybe I've been a bit harsh to her. She seems like a good kid, but-"

"A good kid?" Lee almost chuckles out his response.

"Yeah, what?"

"You're a kid too, aren't you?"

She narrows her brows and scoffs. "I am not a kid. I'm practically an adult. I'm fourteen."

Aaaaand back to disturbed. "Eugh.. let's uh, let's just focus on the treeline."

"What?"

"Nothing, just.." He once again changes the subject. "Danny seems a little off. Maybe you should go help him."

She stands up with an eyeroll. "Ugh, fine. He's such an airhead, I swear. Nice chatting with you, keep watch so we don't get chomped." Becca picks up her gun and starts walking towards the door. Lee rubs the back of his neck awkwardly.

"..Yeah."

Clementine solemnly walks with her head down to the armory. She enters through the door, catching Luke and Bonnie off guard.

"Oh, hey Clem. You done with your work already?" Luke greets. When she doesn't look up, the two get concerned.

"Clementine? What's wrong?" Bonnie asks.

She swallows, finally looking up at them, shaken. "..Reggie.. Reggie's dead."

"What..?" Bonnie shudders.

"Carver threw him off the roof." She mutters, holding herself.

"Jesus Christ.. Why?" Luke questions.

"We were cutting berries off of plants. Sarah didn't do much work, but Duck.. he ruined the plants out of spite."

"It took us months to grow those!" Bonnie yells.

"Then what?" Luke asks, getting down on one knee and approaching Clem's shaking body.

"Carver showed up.. And then.. He threw him off the group for messing up.. And.. and then Duck.." Clem whimpers, looking away again.

"The boy? What happened to him?" Bonnie frantically asks, walking closer to Clem, who, overwhelmed, starts crying, tears falling from her eyes to the floor.

"I.. I.."

Luke envelopes her in his warm arms, his chin in her shoulder as she clutches to him, closing her eyes. "Hey, hey, shh.. It's okay. C'mere.." He gives a side glance to Bonnie, mouthing a "hold off." to her. She takes a few steps back. He steps away.

"He's alive.. But.. I don't know how bad he's hurt." She explains between hiccups.

Bonnie sighs, shaking her head. "You're certain he killed Reggie? I.. I just-"

Luke snaps, touching his temples through his shaggy hair. "This is exactly what we were talking about before we escaped - exactly! Of course he did it. Poor Reggie." He begins pacing.

"I.. I have to check. Clem, did Bill send you down here?" Bonnie asks, bending over to talk to her at her level.

"Yes.. He said you had work for me." Clem replies.

The orange haired lady hands over a pail of nails to her open arms. "Just take this down to the expansion area, Luke'll take ya. Give these nails to Troy's boys, your friends Charles, Kenny and Molly should be down there. Then come straight back. Understand me?" She puts a hand on her shoulder.

"Okay." She nods, wiping her face with her sleeve.

"Let's go. Be careful, Bonnie." Luke takes Clem's hand and heads for the door, looking back at Bonnie.

"He won't do nothing to me. But.. thank you." Bonnie lets them leave first, hiding her blush before exiting after them.

Clem and Luke enter the alleyway leading to the expansion. It's not too narrow, though a fence protects the building on one side and a series of shops on the left. These include a comic store and two free buildings that must have never been bought by any store owners before the end of the world hit. At this point, Clem has calmed herself. The duo look behind them once the door closes and notice, outside of the fence, Reggie's dead body, his expression permanently in fear.

"Hey, that doesn't concern you!" Troy barks out of nowhere, standing on top of a wooden platform. Luke and Clem swing their heads to see him, the former glaring while the latter looks nervous. "Come on, do what ya gotta do and then go right back."

"Alright, go on ahead, I'll meet you back. Don't take too long, alright?" Luke puts two reassuring hands on her shoulders and looks her in the eyes calmly.

She takes a deep breath. "Okay. Okay.."

"Two seconds, drop it off, it's over. I'll see you." Luke turns around and leaves. Clem makes her way underneath Troy's platform. He looks down at her before giving her directions.

"Last building straight ahead." He explains. She nods and follows his order. On her way, she can hear several walkers pounding on the fence next to her, desperate to get in and devour the group like a tin of sardines. She opens the door and meets her old friends, and the grumpy guy from last night, Mike.

Molly turns her head and approaches, grinning. "Hey, kiddo! Whatcha doing down here?"

"Bonnie told me to deliver these." She flatly replies, looking just as pale as she did a few minutes ago.

"You don't look so good. What's going on?" She follows up, tilting her chin upward. "Hey, did that Troy douchebag do anything to you?"

Clem looks away. "..No.. Reggie, he's.."

Mike stops hammering a nail to raise his head. "He's dead? No way.."

Everyone else looks shocked at the revelation. Chuck asks, "How?"

"Carver threw him off the roof because we messed up at a job. Well.. Duck messed up at the job." She explains, a bit more composed now.

"Duck? Is he okay? Where is he?!" Kenny demands.

She can't look at him. "Kenny, I.."

The mustachioed man walks up to her as if he's on a mission, fists clenched anxiously. "He's alive, right?! Tell me he's alive!"

"He is! I think. Last time I saw him he was!" She yells back, frightened. Molly immediately stands in front of her with her arms folded, giving a warning look to Kenny.

"We need out, now. I ain't letting my boy be bullied by that dictator any longer, his life is at risk here!" He shoves his finger in Molly's face, but Kenny's talking to everyone.

Chuck steps up to his side, explaining, "Lee has a plan, you heard the intercom. A herd's comin'. You really think putting us out there is a good idea?"

"We'll die either way, then, is that what you're saying?" Kenny asks, chuckling humorlessly.

"I'm saying Lee's a smart guy and knows what he's talking about." Chuck answers.

"Duck and Sarah got the shit smacked out of 'em and you still think that's true?! What happened to all that wisdom, Charles? Come on, I know you're smarter than this!" Kenny barks.

Mike stares in disbelief at the floor, shaking his head. "He threw him down for that..? Man."

"Of course he did. The man's a psychopath." Molly says.

"Thank you! At least one of you agrees with me." Kenny replies.

"That being said, I say we see what Lee thinks we should do. Where's Duck now?"

"I don't know. Last I saw, he was.. Being beaten by Carver." She winces as she explains, knowing he'll be upset. He is. Kenny seethes silently, his teeth gritting as he begins a death march for the door.

"...That's it, he's a dead man."

Mike grabs his arm and immediately gets pushed back. "Kenny, calm down, man! That isn't gonna solve anything!"

"Oh yeah it will. Nobody touches my boy. Nobody." Kenny continues until Molly jerks him back by his sleeve.

"Getting violent won't help anything! You'll damn us all!" Chuck argues, raising his voice, a rarity.

"We already are. Come on, Clementine, you gotta agree. You saw what happened, right? That sonuva bitch needs to pay." Kenny says, turning to Clem for support. She widens her eyes and steps back.

"Don't wrap her up into this, it's not her call to make." Molly spits with a twinge of frustration.

"Says who? She's a member of this group same as anyone else." The ex fisherman replies.

"She's eleven years old." Chuck growls.

"I remember a conversation we had on a train where you said it didn't matter how old my boy was; he needed to be taught how to shoot, and you were right." Chuck looks taken aback that Kenny would use his words against him. He rolls his eyes.

Mike decides to step forward. "This is different. Clementine really is just a kid to Carver. You want her blood on your hands?"

"Fuck you, Mike. You don't know shit about us." Kenny points at him angrily.

"I know enough about you to know that you're only gonna get yourself in deep shit if you go around threatening the leader of Howe's." Mike replies. Kenny pulls himself away from Molly's tight grip, stumbling into the glass wall that borders up against the fence outside.

After collecting himself, he sighs before desperately pleading, "Clementine, work with me!"
