Though she was terrified and could hardly stand still, Clementine had no choice. She raised her arm even higher, a lump appearing in her throat as Duck opened his eyes fully, holding his arm out to defend himself with a defiant, scared "No!"

The hammer thrusts downward with Clem's hand, the face of the tool making brutal contact with Duck's palm, disarming him and stunning him in place from the rush of pain that eclipses his small hand. He screams as loud as he ever has around her, causing her to grit her teeth and she strikes a second time, this time breaking his knuckles as she throttles down, striking his hand against his leg.

"AHH! A-ah! S-stop! STOP!" Duck screams.

"I'm sorry!" She cries out.

"You gonna fuck me over again, kid? Hit him again!" Carver orders.

Clem yelps as she bangs his thumb, his entire hand going limp as blood descends from the cuts and bruises that now mark him. His hand throbs, a purple hue encompassing it as it burns red hot. Clem drops the hammer and backs away, blood splattered around her chest and hands. She lurches over and vomits on the floor. Duck passes out after a good few seconds of hollering and shaking, going limp in his chair. Carver takes Clem's hat off and dusts some blood spots off of it as he rubs her back.

"Ah, goddamnit. Looks like Wyatt and Eddie's job ain't over yet. Relax, honey, you did good. Real good." As she finishes throwing up, she gets another look at Duck, his breathing erratic but his eyes closed.

She gasps, wiping her mouth with her sleeve. "Is-is he-"

"He's fine. He'll live, albeit severely injured. You broke his hand." Carver answers proudly, standing over him with his hands on his hips.

"I know! I.." Clem snaps, choking on her words, but is interrupted by a beep.

"Bill? You there?" Tavia's voice questions, clearly coming from the walkie talkie on his desk. He turns around and picks it up.

"Yeah, I'm here." He answers.

"The loading bay door is jacked, Troy really knocked the shit out of it." She replies.

"How bad is it?"

"Rails are tweaked so it won't shut all the way. I don't think it's an emergency or anything, but it's something Stan should take a look at when he can."

"I'll get him on it. Out." He hangs up, pinching the bridge of his nose. "That fucking idiot. There's a herd of walkers on the way and he puts a goddamn ding in my door." He sighs. "Go, go back down to your room. You did good today. Should be a good supper ready for you. I trust you, you know where it is."

Clem wordlessly leaves the room, unable to stop shivering as she makes her way out.

Carver turns back to Duck. "Bonnie, you in? Come down here, need you to bring that Duck kid to the pen. He's unconscious. Oh, and grab Eddie on your way, we got a mess in here he could clean up. Over."

Outside of the pen, walkers continue to rise in numbers. Approximately fifteen stumble around outside the dark, cold parking lot. Wind howls, their dead jaws groan. Inside of the pen, most of the prisoners sit around the fireplace, with the exception of Carlos, who is still working late into the night, Duck who is resting on Rebecca's bed with Sarita by his side comforting him and Danny, who is trying to get some rest. Lee walks in with Shawn behind him, guiding him to his living quarters.

"Hey, you doing okay?" Shawn asks, pulling him to the side.

"I'm actually fairly well. Anything happen while I was gone?" Lee questions back. Shawn winces, scratching the back of his neck.

"Well.. nothing good. Bill.. he went crazy. He just.. Wailed on Duck, even broke his hand." Shawn answers.

Lee's shocked, even a little angry. "The hell he did! Duck? Why?"

"He sabotaged the greenhouse. Bill said he wanted to teach him a lesson." Lee huffs, clenching his fist as he catches a glimpse of a crying Sarita coddling the boy while Duck takes a closer look at his hand. Kenny looks enraged, sitting at the fireplace with a roaring ember of anger bubbling inside of him. Shawn grabs Lee's shoulder. "Look, please don't cause any trouble tonight, Bill really likes you. And.. I couldn't stand it if another kid got hurt in case of a riot."

"Shawn.."

"Please. Just keep the peace. I've never seen anyone as competent at this stuff as you, man. Keep it up. I'll tell Clem and Carley goodnight for you." He closes the gate behind an apprehensive Lee.

"Thanks, I guess." He murmurs.

"You're welcome." Shawn sincerely says, walking away with a subtle disgust. Lee looks back at the camp. He notices Jane looking at the concerned prisoners from time to time, something cooking in her mind. He notices how diligently Carlos is working, while his daughter watches anxiously. He notices Danny noticing him and immediately turning to face the wall in his bed. He notices how bloody and scared Duck looks, even while unconscious, and how horribly Sarita weeps for him.

Then he notices everyone else in the middle, sitting or standing around the fire. He walks toward them. Kenny is fiercely growling out a plan. "That motherfucker has crossed the line. I don't give a shit what Lee or Carley's relationship is with him or whether or not it's the right thing - he deserves to die!"

"So what, you're gonna ring the dinner bell on this place and in the heat of everything somehow kill the smartest guy in the building with your bare fists? Real smart." Mike replies, rolling his eyes.

"It's a better idea than any of you have come up with. He's a monster. Scum like him doesn't deserve to breathe the same air as the good people in this world." Walter mutters, scratching his wrist menacingly. Lee joins the group, standing between Molly and Chuck.

"Walter, calm down. This isn't the way to go, it's far too risky." Luke says. Walt shakes his head.

"This place will be fucking chaos when that thing hits. Nobody will know what hit 'em! We just gotta figure out how to attract 'em here." Kenny adds.

Rebecca looks up at Lee. "Your friend here wants to get us all killed by lurkers before Bill can."

"What the hell is your problem? Look at my son!" Kenny argues.

"We all saw! It's a big deal, and we should leave before things get too.. Risky." She clutches Alvin's hand in hers. He squeezes back. "But this? This is suicide."

"Beck's right, we'd be walking into death itself. Besides, what about Pete?" Alvin asks.

"What about me?" Pete questions, raising a brow.

"You ain't going anywhere like that, much less through a herd." Alvin says, looking down at his nub leg.

"So, what are you saying?" The older man snarls.

Alvin throws his hands up. "Nothing! Just that it's something to think about."

"I'm not stupid. Leaving me behind isn't the worst idea, if we're really considering escape." Pete mumbles.

"Don't say shit like that! We're not leaving Uncle Pete." Nick says defiantly. Everyone hangs their heads low.

"Escape? You guys.. You guys want to leave? Even after everything we discussed?" Lee questions. Kenny raises his head and grits his teeth.

"Listen, professor, just because your family is all taken care of and safe don't mean mine has had it easy. Your best friend up there beat my twelve year old son half to death, shot Walt's boyfriend and fucked over the rest of us. You can stay here and lick his ass all goddamn day, but some of us actually want to see the end of this."

"This.. does change a lot, Lee." Ben says with a swallow.

Lee shakes his head. "Duck sabotaged the group, right?"

"He's not a part of this group, none of us are." Kenny spits back.

"Damn right." Walt agrees.

"Well he sabotaged Bill's group, which led to him freaking out. We know how this guy is, the kid made a stupid mistake, a really stupid mistake, and got punished for it. It's not like he killed him or anything." Lee explains, trying to deflate the situation. Then Chuck opens his mouth.

"No, but he did kill Reggie."

"What?" Lee takes a step back, unsure of what he just heard.

Kenny humorlessly laughs. "Oh yeah, that's right! This psycho ALSO fucking murdered a guy not ten feet from Clementine and Sarah! How's that make you feel, big man?"

"Kenny! Calm down!" Mike shouts.

"Shut up, Mike! Talk to me when your child gets his hand beaten in with a hammer, you goddamn sociopath!" Kenny snaps.

"I'm a sociopath because I see the downside of getting angry in a situation like this? Tch, sure, man." Mike replies.

"This fighting isn't getting us anywhere. Look, if we're gonna escape, the first thing we'll need is a radio to better communicate with each other." Luke explains.

"I don't disagree with that." Rebecca says.

Luke continues, "No matter what plan we do, communication is key. If we wanna get outta here, we need a few radios, at least two."

"There are a few in the stock room. That's where they charge them overnight." Pete adds.

"Well, fine, tonight we get some radios, then we move forward with my plan." Kenny responds.

"We'd have to make a helluva lot of noise to attract an entire herd." Molly says.

"You used to do that all the time. What would you suggest?" Chuck asks her.

"That PA system Carver uses is pretty loud. Why not that?" She suggests.

"Good luck getting in his office." Alvin says.

"That is a bit of a problem." Nick says, biting his nails nervously.

"Not a problem at all, I can do it. I'm quite nimble." Molly replies.

"And what about Clementine and Carley? We can't leave them behind." Chuck says.

"Of course not. We'll get them one of the radios we pick up, when we see 'em next." Kenny answers.

"Okay, what next? A whole herd of walkers show up, Bill and his men start runnin' around terrified, and what? We walk through them?" Pete challenges. Kenny narrows his eyes at him.

"We grab some guns and shoot our way out? I dunno, we improvise!" He says with a shrug.

"Then that's not a plan; you don't plan to improvise." Mike argues.

"I figured out what your problem is: you don't think things through. If the end of your plan is to just stroll through a herd of lurkers, then you should know from the jump that there's no way it's gonna work." Rebecca replies.

"Actually," Jane appears out of nowhere, still covered in dirt across her face and body. Everyone looks at her. "I do it all the time."

Everyone is silent. Mike breaks the silence. "First words I ever hear you say and it's just some crazy, stupid shit."

"What do you mean by that?" Luke asks, enamored.

"When you cover yourself in their smell, rub the walker guts all over you, they can't tell you from one of them." Jane explains.

"Now I don't know who's crazier." Rebecca says with a shake of her head.

"Trust me, I've walked through herds before. You just have to stay calm and make sure you're good and covered."

"Yeah, she's right. I've known that for a while, showed Clem and Lee how it works when we were following the train into Savannah. Walked through the whole herd for a day straight, maybe more. Wasn't fun, but we made it. This plan's doable." Chuck agrees.

"Really? Then what are we waiting for? Let's get that stupid radio." Kenny says, standing up.

"We still have to find a way to get into the stock room." Ben says uneasily.

"I have a plan for that too. Come on, blondie, gonna need your help if you're as nimble as you say you are." Jane suggests, looking at Molly, who eagerly begins following.

"Christa, you've been awfully quiet. What're your thoughts on all this?" Pete asks, only now picking up on her silence. Everyone looks at Christa for a few seconds until she raises her head from looking at the dancing sparks of the fireplace.

"Whatever happens, whatever we do to Carver.. I just want to get the hell out of here." She says, voice broken.

"Woah, woah, guys, we're not actually considering this, are we?" Lee questions.

"Why not? It's not a bad idea, Lee. You really wanna stay here for the rest of your life after what that maniac did to Duck? To Reggie? After what Troy tried to do to me? After what Christa and Clementine have been through?" Molly asks, genuinely curious. All eyes are on him now. Lee has to seriously consider his relationship with Carver and whether or not he wants to backstab him or not.

Choices (Lee)

A: Side with the group

B: Refuse to be apart of the plan (RAT)

C: Refuse to be apart of the plan (Keep information to yourself)

Relationships

Clementine: 15/15 (Clementine has earned much of Carver's trust but is deeply afraid of him)

Carley: 15/15 (She's spent time earning Bill's trust, but at the end of the day she'll do whatever you decide on)

Christa: 10/15 (She wants to go away from here. She isn't comfortable with how close you and Bill have gotten in such a short time)

Molly: 11/15 (Molly also doesn't like how close you've gotten to Bill. She's all for Kenny's plan)

Chuck: 15/15 (Chuck believes you'll make the right choice by siding with the group, but is concerned you may not. He doesn't want to leave the camp exactly, but he doesn't wanna be around Bill anymore)

Kenny: 3/15 (Disgusted at your closeness to the man who beat his son half to death, it'll take a lot to earn his trust back. Accepting the plan would be a step in the right direction)

Ben: 10/15 (He wants to leave and hopes you do too, but isn't convinced you want to)

Duck: 7/15 (He's significantly more upset with your closeness to Bill than many others for obvious reasons. He wants to leave)

Walter: 3/15 (Your closeness to Bill rubs him wrong. Take Kenny's plan and he'll be more willing to forgive)

Sarita: 4/15 (She just wants to leave, and now that your 'best friend' has gotten Duck beaten to hell, she really doesn't care for you)

Luke: 11/15 (He's more concerned about the kids staying here, and especially concerned for Alvin and Rebecca. He thinks escaping now is the best course of action and knows you'll agree)

Pete: 12/15 (See Luke's reason)

Nick: 11/15 (He wants to leave as soon as possible)

Carlos: 9/15 (He wants to get himself, his loved ones and his daughter out of here before it's too late. He knows you're smart, he just hopes you can make the right choice)

Sarah: 6/15 (She wants to go back to the cabin, where they were safe)

Alvin: 13/15 (He needs to get out of here before Bill changes his mind about keeping him around. He can feel his time counting down. He doesn't want his family raised by Carver)

Rebecca: 11/15 (She hopes so badly that you side with them and save her family)

Danny: 6/15 (He's very worried about both his fate regarding you knowing his secret and because of recent events with Reggie. Whatever you do, he won't spill any secrets as long as you don't)

Bonnie: 7/15

Carver: 8/15 (He trusts you. He trusts Clem and Carley more, but he definitely sees something within you. There's a great chance he'll consider you as the co-leader of Howe's, and when that time comes you may be able to give everyone much better lives. Do you really want to ruin that chance?)

Tavia: 6/15

Stan: 6/15

Shel: 6/15

Johnny: 6/15

Shawn: 7/15 (He feels awful about Duck and worse about Reggie)

Troy: 5/15

Justin: 6/15

Wyatt: 5/10

Eddie: 5/10

Shel: 5/10

Becca: 6/10 (She's willing to at least like you for now)

Sam: 8/15
