Cray's Idea

This story takes place on cray with many of the characters of the Cardfight Vanguard anime appearing on the planet as residents. There have also been new main characters added and even surprising gender changes of important characters. The story follows a boy named Kei as he travels the world of cray and discover new cultures and races he's never seen. At least that was his goal...

4. Chapter 4

Megacolony

Kei stood in silence at the sight of the charred body of the dragonman being buried on the ground.

Kei: "{War and violence breeds nothing but hatred and resentment}"

The burning flame illuminating the night sky reflected the group's burning desire for revenge in a sea of despair and sadness.

After burying their comrade's corpse the group sat around the flame, Reas's face was planted firmly into Sutherland's chest, Dawn looked on into the flame and Kei sat in silence staring into the flame too

...

Chain-Attack Sutherland: "We can't let them get away with this!"

Amber dragon, Dawn: "We also cannot afford to be reckless. Preparing a proper counter attack is difficult under our current circumstances, we have to be careful and calm."

Follower, Reas: "The captain is right Sutherland, we don't know how many enemies there are or when they'll attack. We have to be patient for now and come up with a proper strategy."

Sutherland: "Tch! Dammit this is so annoying!"

Sutherland face palmed in frustration

Kei: "Before we can come up with a strategy we need useful information about the enemy."

Kei's calm way of speaking irritated Sutherland who was too upset to keep his cool. He removes his palm from his face slowly

Sutherland: "Huh? Don't you think we know that dumb ass"

Kei: "By the way you're talking, I wouldn't think so."

Sutherland: "What was that… are you trying to pick a fight?"

Reas: "Stop it both of you! this is not the time to be fighting amongst ourselves."

The sadness in Reas's voice and the fact that she seemed to barely be holding her tears back was enough to deter the boys from quarreling with each other any further

Dawn: "Kei, you appear to be very calm about the situation. Is it that you've experienced the death of a comrade before or perhaps, you have something in mind?"

Kei: "Neither…"

Sutherland: "Tch! Figures"

Kei ignored Sutherland's remarks

Kei: "Dawn, can you tell me, what exactly are we up against"

Dawn decides to share the conclusion he had arrived at upon seeing the woman.

Dawn: "Have you heard of megacolony?"

Kei: "Megacolony?"

Reas who finally removed her head from Sutherland's chest perks up

Reas: " A massive criminal organization that hides their main base in the nation Zoo."

Dawn: "That's correct, and I suspect that woman is a part of their group."

Kei: "A criminal organization? Why would they come to the dragon empire, what do they want?"

Dawn: "My first thought would be that they are smuggling banned items and substances into the empire or even trafficking, these are allegedly two of their specialties."

Reas: "How horrible"

Sutherland: "Who knows what they're after, and at this point who cares. All I know is that those bastards will pay for what they've done."

Dawn: "We'll reach the crest mountain path tomorrow, we have to be ready for anything. We're at a disadvantage due to our lack of information, but I know a way we can sway the odds of victory in our favor."

Reas: "What are you thinking captain?"

Dawn: "The answer…"

He looks over and points at Kei

"...Is him"

[The next day]

Sutherland: "Captain! We'll be entering the mountain path in just a few minutes"

Dawn: "We're almost there now, the outcome of this fight and our lives may very well depend on you Kei. Are you ready?"

Kei: "That's quite a bit of pressure to put on someone in their first real fight, don't you think?"

Dawn: "Unfortunately it's the best option available to us right now. Lets just hope it doesn't come to that"

Kei "{*Sigh* Whatever, no matter what happens i'll survive this, I won't die before I know for sure that Kamui is alright. and I definitely won't die before Kaiya or Miwa does}"

The carriage entered the huge gap between the mountain and everything was seemingly normal as they traversed inside. Rocks can be seen slowly crumbling around, the air gets denser as they travel along and the feeling of danger and anticipation could be felt by everyone.

[A different part of the mountain]

A woman with a face and lower body resembling a bee flew up to a cliff where a young boy with light purple hair was lying comfortably

"Sir, it seems someone just entered the mountain path, it appears your playthings have finally arrived."

"It's about time, it was way too boring just waiting... Let's have some fun now {...cackles}"

...

Reas: "Hey Sutherland, something feels weird, don't you think?"

Sutherland took a moment and observed the surroundings before responding

Sutherland: "Now that you say it, I think we've passed that same rock over there like three times now."

Reas: "As i thought, It must be some sort of trick, be careful..."

Sutherland: "Captain the enemy is close by, they're trying to trick us with illusions."

Dawn: "I see. Reas, can you locate the enemy? "

Reas: "I'm already on it captain… there Sutherland, at 10 o'clock hiding behind that huge boulder on the side of the mountain."

Without hesitating Sutherland pulled his hand gun and fired where Reas had specified. The shot blew up the boulder which was detached from the mountain and sent flying to the ground.

What they saw emerging from the stirred debris was a moth-like woman with huge brown wings patterned with the occasional white and purple rings on her body.

Reas: "There you are, I found you"

"[Cough* cough*] You found me quicker than I expected, I guess you aren't as dumb as I first thought. Well, now that I've been found out and my game is ruined, how about we start a new game."

BOOM! An explosive device was set off above the carriage on the mountainside.

Sutherland: "Dammit, Get out now!"

Massive and small rocks alike came crashing down and crushing the carriage in the process. Fortunately no one was heavily injured and the debris helped to camouflage their movements and give them time to recover.

Moth-like lady: "What's this? Did you already lose the game…That's too bad, I was really hoping we could play another."

The lady landed on an mass of rock that was extruding slightly out of the mountain

Reas: "Oh don't worry, this game won't be over until you and your friends are dead!"

Before the moth-like insect woman could react, a bullet went right through her thigh. From the thigh down, her right leg was completely blown off. At the sight of this her screams could be heard all across the mountain range.

Sutherland: "Damn it I missed, there's too much debris for me to get a clear shot at her head"

Falling butt first on the rock and clinging to her leg she creams

"AArgh! My leg! What have you done to me you vile creature! I'll kill yo-"

Before she could finish speaking, Reas took her distraction as an opportunity to go on the offensive. Sutherland threw her above the debris and into the direction of the injured woman.

"No, what are you doing! Aaarrrgghh!"

The woman could not react quickly enough in her current state so Reas collided with her, sending both of them flying into the mountainside.

Taking the brunt of the damage, the woman was now heavily injured. She laid in a small cradle made by the collision with one leg missing, both of her wings mangled and bleeding profusely. unable to move she stared up at the cream haired girl in anticipation of death.

"Ugh, t-tell me brat... your name?"

"My name is Reas, I serve as master Sutherland's servant. May I ask what your name is?"

"...They call me... Madame mirage. I really do hope… you die a horrific death hehehehehe"

Reas pulled out a small knife from her sleeve and stabbed madame Mirage in her chest

Reas's eyes were filled with emptiness at the sight of the insect's death

Reas: "For someone so evil to die with such a smile, how despicable. You don't deserve my kindness or sympathy... but still"

She pulled the knife out of the now lifeless body and walked to the edge of the rock. The debris had almost completely cleared now, everyone was visible to her

Reas: "She's dead, I'm gonna jump now so you better catch me!"

Kei: "{She was able to kill her huh? These guys are more ruthless than i thought. I guess when push comes to shove, even this seemingly innocent girl can become a cold hearted killer. This is the dragon empire after all, I shouldn't be surprised}"

Sutherland: "Reas, no!"

As Reas is about to jump down into sutherlands arms, she is ambushed from behind by an insect with the body of a human sized caterpillar. The insect wraps his body around Reas, restricting her movements, she is now completely at its mercy.

Reas: "{Oh no I didn't notice this thing, I let my guard down}

She struggles to get free but was unable to.

"It's no use little girl, they call me the stealth millipede and once I trap my prey they never get loose. I see you've managed to kill a comrade of mine, to pay you back I think it's only fair I take your life don't you agree?"

The insect's body starts to tighten around Reas.

Reas: "Aargh! Awk"

Reas could do nothing but groan loudly in pain

Sutherland: "You bastard, I'll kill you!"

Stealth millipede: "Oh really hehehe, by the time you reach up here your friend will already be dead and I'll be long gone"

Dawn: "dammit he's right, it'll take too long if we try to scale the mountain. I'll just have to…"

Kei: "Imagine it…"

Dawn: "Huh? What are you-?"

Kei closed his eyes

Kei: " Let's see… by your description of this guy he should look something like this."

{Connection established… Target has agreed to your summons}

A red light appeared high above Kei's head in the form of the Kagero clan's emblem

Dawn looked up at the light in surprise, Sutherland and the stealth millipede however, was too fixated on Reas's situation to notice.

Dawn: "Woah…"

Kei: "Now, come forth…!"

He lifted his arms to and stared directly at the light

Kei: "Wyvern Strike, Jarran!"

The light then morphed into a cyborg wyvern plated in shiny red armor with a fully armored man riding on its back.

Dawn: "[He actually did it?! He's able to call forth an ally based solely on their description alone? He's more than lived up to my expectations. I was right to put my faith in you after all.]"

Jarran: "Hmm. The Crest mountains"

Dawn flew using wings that sprouted from the golden armaments attached to his back to get closer to the man on the wyvern.

Dawn: "Jarran, over here"

Jarran: "Commander… so you are here after all. Then it seems that I wasn't being lied to by that voice"

Dawn: "Reas is in trouble over there, with your speed we should be able to save her."

Dawn held on to the back of the man clad in armor.

Dawn: " Now, go on!"

Jarran: "Understood captain!"

The man commanded the wyvern to fly towards Reas and within the span of a few seconds they were already above Stealth millipede and his captive.

Stealth millipede: "Where the hell did that thing come from, it's so fast!"

Sutherland: "What the- is that?!"

Dawn jumps down from the wyvern and claws into the insect. Due to the sudden sharp pain he felt in his back he reflexively let Reas go. Because she was close to the edge she fell over the cliff but was caught by Sutherland.

Sutherland: "I've got you now"

Reas: "Sutherland..."

Dawn: "I'll end this right here and now! What the hell makes you think you can threaten the life of my comrade [growl]."

Jarran: "Commander, behind you!"

At the sound of Jarran's voice, the small dragon jumped high off the ground to evade the unknown attacker.

" Damn, I missed..."

Stealth millipede: "Phantom black, it's you!?"

A black ant with the body of a human sized man holding a steel bar and smoking a cigarette was now standing on the rock

Phantom Black: "You dumbass, who told you to engage the enemy without backup"

Stealth millipede: "W-well they killed madame mirage so I thought..."

Phantom Black: "you thought what… you could take them yourself?"

Stealth millipede: "I saw an opportunity and took it. I saw the girl let her guard down and…"

Phantom: "Shut up, that's enough out of you. It's too far gone to just sit back and wait now I guess. What do you think, Lady bomb?"

The woman the group had seen and blamed for the death of their comrade was now flying above the caterpillar and the ant.

Sutherland was surprised at first but it quickly turned into visible anger upon seeing the woman

Sutherland: "It's her"

Lady bomb: "Yes why not just kill them all before the boss arrives, if only it were up to me to decide. Hercules you are in charge until the boss gets here. What do you propose we do?"

A large human sized beetle carrying two large guns and a bandoleer around his chest walked out on another large rock.

The beetle's presence put everyone on edge, he was the most powerful beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Dawn: "This guy is trouble, I can tell just by a glance…"

The beetle then spoke

Bloody Hercules: "I ordered you to hide your presence until the boss came but now you've gone and messed everything up.

Stealth millipede started to shake a little because he knew that defying an order from this person meant certain death.

Bloody Hercules: "If you wish to fight so bad then do it. I have no interest in this, kill them as quickly as possible."

Lady Bomb: "Oh my, how generous"

Phantom black: "hmm, let's have some fun then {Smirks}"

Lady Bomb: "{chuckles} To think, you cared so much about that woman to place us in such a situation, your punishment will be quite severe, I hope u know that"

Lady bomb's laughter sent shivers down Stealth millipede's spine but he could do nothing but shake and cower in this moment. His only option was to produce results and prove his worth in this battle.

Sutherland: "Hey captain, it looks like we've got no other option but to fight doesn't it"

Dawn: "Yes, they've caught us like a fly in a spider's web..."

The two looked at each other and smiled

Dawn: "...of course I know you're enjoying this situation, there's no going back now"

Sutherland: "Of course I enjoy this. It's exciting when you don't know if you will survive a battle isn't it."

Reas: "*sigh* You never change do you…"

Reas now stood beside Sutherland smiling

Sutherland: "I'll take the ladybug, we've got a score to settle with her specifically and I intend to. Hey Reas, how many of those special bullets you have left?"

Reas: "Only four remain, I haven't been focused on their creation as much because of the mission. I was saving my mana."

She hands over a small bag to Sutherland

Sutherland: "That's more than enough, thanks"

Jarran watches bloody hercules intensely

Jarran: "Captain, that one doesn't seem like he'll join the fight, at least not yet. I'll keep an eye one his movements and provide cover if possible"

Dawn: "sounds good. If that guy is not planning on intervening in the fight then that makes it a whole lot easier. Reas, you and I will deal with the ant and the caterpillar. Now, let's take…"

Lady bomb flew down from the platform followed by Stealth millipede who crawled down the side of the mountain. Phantom black jumped down and made a small crater.

"...care of these bastards"

The lady bug flew by everyone further into the mountains leaving her other two comrade's behind

Stealth millipede: "Huh, What is she doing?"

Sutherland quickly gave chase to lady bomb

Stealth millipede: "So fast!"

Phantom black: "It's rare to see her enthusiastic to fight someone one on one"

Kei decides to climb onto the back of the wyvern with Jarran, keeping an eye on bloody hercules and keeping watch of the battle that was about to begin.

Dawn: "You're mine!"

Dawn rushed at phantom black and tried to claw him but phantom black easily dodged. Dawn kept on trying but could not hit, phantom black easily evaded his attacks all while smoking his cigarette and holding his metal bat.

Stealth millipede went after the seemingly defenseless Reas.

Stealth millipede: "Everyone's too busy to protect you now…"

As he approached Reas with his impressive speed and was about to pierce her she jumped out of the way, flipped and landed perfectly balanced behind him. She notices a cut on her face after she lands.

"…Oh not bad at all, that was surprising but it seems you weren't fast enough to completely evade my attack after all."

Stealth millipede looked down to notice the arm he attacked with was now broken and mangled.

Reas: "That's interesting, What gave you the impression that I needed protection?"

Stealth: "Aargh! You bitch! There's still many more where that came from!"

Reas: "I'll just have to break all of them then won't I?!"

...

Dawn was struggling against phantom black, he could not lay a finger on him.

Phantom black: "Pathetic, is this really all you're capable of? I expected more from you. They call you commander, don't they?"

Dawn: "...Shut up and fight me for real!"

...

The lady bug stops flight at a distance where she felt her battle would not be disrupted.

Lady Bomb: "[chuckles] You're desperate for revenge aren't you, you followed me all the way here and left your comrades back there to die. How foolish can one man get?"

Sutherland: "Shut the hell up, You've got no idea what they're capable of. They can take care of themselves."

Lady bomb: "[smiles] Well, so can my allies-"

She quickly dodges and let's a bullet fly right by her face

Suttherland: "Enough talk, do me a favor and just die already"

Lady bomb: "[smiles…] How rude"

…

Karma Queen: "It seems they've already engaged with your play things sir, unfortunately it will take a bit more time to get there. P-perhaps it was not such a good idea to spread our forces so thin."

The purple haired boy smiled in excitement

"This mission is so boring, I have to find a way to spice it up and have some fun don't I [...laughs]. my brothers would approve of this wouldn't they?"

Karma Queen: "O-of course they would, sir"

…

Sutherland fires 5 consecutive attacks but Lady bomb successfully dodges them all. While she's distracted, Sutherland attempts to close the distance between them completely.

Lady bomb: "Oh?"

Realizing this, Lady bomb pretends to get hit, and waits until he's in range.

Sutherland: "Gotcha!"

Sutherland jumps to try and tag her, but her wings open up and two bombs shaped like lady bugs are dropped on top of sutherland. Even though he's caught off guard by her attack, he reflexively shoots the bombs and makes them detonate before reaching him. This causes him to get blown back however, and puts him right back where he started.

…

Stealth Millipede's body began to grow longer and legs kept extruding from it.

Stealth millipede: "[laughs maniacally...] it's about time I put you in your place little girl. You've broken only two of my 40 limbs so far, you have done nothing!"

He moves quickly to slash at Reas, before he could get into striking range however, she pulls out a small revolver from behind her and shoots millipede. He uses a limb as a shield but loses it in the process. She fires four more bullets aiming at his head each time but he blocks with four more of his limbs like before.

Reas: "That makes seven now doesn't it"

Stealth millipede: "I'll murder you!"

Millipede continues his charge before Reas can reload. She dodges him only suffering another small slash across her face. Stealth continues his relentless attacks but Reas is able to keep up with his movements and dodges his attacks. Millipede gets increasingly annoyed and reckless.

Stealth Millipede: "Die already will you! Just die!"

Seemingly about to deliver the finishing blow to her head, she dodges and pulls out a handgun the moment his limb hits the ground. She kicks and breaks millipede's leg and shoots at his head twice. Reas thought she caught him off guard but he blocked the bullets using two limbs. She reflexively jumps back to create space and fires two more shots but he blocks again with two more limbs.

Reas: "Tch!.."

She began to think

"he has 28 of those sword like limbs left, it looks like i'll have to take them all out before i can finish him off"

Stealth millipede: "Damn you! How dare you take 12 of my limbs! Why wont you just die already…"

[...breathes heavily…]

"...[menacing laughter] it'll all be over soon"

Reas: "Huh? What are you talking about?"

Stealth Millipede: "It's simple really, I bet you didn't know that my limbs could regenerate, all it requires is a couple of days, so you can destroy them all you want, but I bet that gun of yours is about to run out of bullets isn't it…"

"[...Maniacally laughs…] the moment it does I win"

Reas: "Oh I get it now [...looks down, closes her eyes and shakes her head…], you're wagering your life on who runs out of options first. How foolish, [...looks at millipede…] very well, let's see who comes out on top.

She fires two shots but as expected millipede blocks them. She fires four shots from her pistol this time and he blocks again.

Millipede: "Yes! Soon enough victory will be mine."

She fires eight shots this time which surprises millipede, but he blocks them.

Millipede: "Now!..."

She fires 10 more and the surprised millipede manages to barely block them. With only four limbs remaining his body could no longer support itself. The bloodied millipede lays helpless and defeated on the ground.

Millipede: "H-how, how the hell did I lose to a brat!"

Reas walks over and stood in front of millipede

Reas: "Truly, how dumb could you be?"

Stealth millipede: "What'd you just say to me!?"

"You were the one that made this into a numbers game by thinking you could outlast my bullets. Unfortunately for you, I had way more information because you left your cards out for the world to see. In truth this wasn't a fair game and it wasn't a smart bet.

Stealth millipede: "Information!? What kind of information could a kid like you possibly have that I don't!"

Reas: "There you go underestimating me because of my size again. [...sighs] Fine, these are your last breaths so I'll tell you as your last present before I send you to the relics.

Stealth millipede: "Huh?"

Reas: "My friend here [points to her gun] holds up to 33 rounds, and my revolver holds 6. While it's true I am one bullet short of your forty legs, I didn't just rely on my bullets to deal with them. It helps of course that you weren't fast enough to just cut me to shreds instantly. I also knew once you had lost most of your legs your body would collapse on itself. In truth, I was really in control of the battle this entire time.

Stealth millipede: "Why you little runt! If you think you'll get away with this you have another thing coming hahahahahaha. One day soon enough, you and everyone you care about will experience true desp-"

Before he can finish his speech a bullet goes through his head and snubs out his life.

Reas: "[smiles…] and you'll just have to watch it happen from the land of the dead"

Meanwhile…

Dawn slowly walks out of a small crater on the side of some large rocks.

Dawn: "[Wipes blood from his mouth…] not bad, I commend your strength"

Phantom Black: "Well I can't say the same for you, you haven't quite lived up to my expectations commander, in fact if I were to guess… I'd say that girl over there is even stronger than you. What I wanna know is, how did you come to be the leader of this little group?"

Dawn: "I told you before, didn't I, enough talk!"

Dawn lunges forward to attack with his claws but just like before, phantom black easily dodges and counters with a kick to dawn's stomach. The force he gets kicked with keeps him in the air, while dawn is in free fall, phantom black quickly delivers another strike into dawn's body and sends him flying into the same rock, this time destroying the rock completely.

Phantom Black: "Your clearly outmatched brat, you can't win and you know it"

Dawn slowly gets up and brushes off the rubble

Dawn: "I wasn't trying to beat you yet, not by myself at least"

Phantom black: "what are you talking abo-?"

Phantom black quickly jumps aside and lands on one knee

Reas: "He dodged it... ?! My aim really isn't as good as master Sutherland's yet, but still…"

Phantom black: "You!? Damn that fool, he only had one job"

Dawn: "That's right, I was buying time for her to finish up her fight so she could give me a hand. Now your going down"

Phantom black stands up and faces his foes

Phantom black: "If you two feel you can take me down then you've got another thing coming"

Dawn and Reas simultaneously rushes at phantom black. Reas throws multiple punches at his head, he dodges and attacks her but dawn deflects his hand. He lands on the ground and springs up to phantom black's face with his claws but phantom black is too quick. He catches dawn's hand and slams him into the ground. Reas thinks there's an opening and kicks phantom black but he uses his open hand to grab her leg and throw her aside to create space. He holds onto Dawn's neck and squeezes. He is forced to release his grip on dawn however after Reas regains balance, pulls out her pistol and fires at him. He jumps back and dodges three bullets. He sets his sights on Reas and rushes at her. She fires the final bullets in her gun desperately, knowing they would not hit. Phantom black closes the distance and kicks at her head. To his surprise she blocks with her gun still in hand. In the process however, she is launched into the mountain side. Dawn manages to sneak up on him and rip into his back with his claws. Phantom black grunts in pain before regaining his composure and punching dawn in his face and sending him flying into the ground. Reas runs up to him and starts desperately attacking. She was surprised to see none of her attacks landing and phantom black having little trouble dodging. She was slowly being filled with despair and pain with each of his counter attacks landing. She does not stop attacking but keeps getting pushed back and overpowered. She is now breathing heavily, coughing up blood , weakened and barely able to stand.

Phantom Black: "It's over for you!"

He rushes in to end her but is stopped in his tracks by the hand of a more mature looking dragon than before.

Phantom Black: "It's you...!?"

Out of shock and surprise, phantom black jumps backwards to create space between him and the dragon. With just two glances he could tell exactly who and what he was now looking at.

Reas: "B-but captain, that form is-"

Dawn: "Don't worry about this guy, Now that I've returned to my true form, I'll deal with him."

Reas was now unable to even stand after the beating she just took

Amber dragon: "You've been through enough Reas, just sit back and watch, ok."

Phantom Black: "I get it now, you had a trick up your sleeve after all, I should've known. You were hiding your real strength this entire time."

Amber Dragon: "In this form I'm called the Amber dragon, daylight. I'll use it to crush you"

Meanwhile…

Lady Bomb was unfazed and still treated the fight with Sutherland as a game. They were still both relatively unscathed but Sutherland got increasingly annoyed and wanted to end the fight quickly. Lady Bomb on the other hand was seemingly buying time.

Lady Bomb: "Oh my… are you always this angry when you are fighting?"

Sutherland: "Shut up already and stop wasting my time!"

Sutherland quickly realized he had to change his tactics.

Sutherland: {If I shoot from a distance she is quick enough to dodge my bullets, but if I try to get closer, I risk getting blown up by her explosives. She's more tricky to deal with than I thought}"

Sutherland fires 4 shots with a two second interval between them

Lady bomb: "Such a desperate and pointless attempt. You might be desperate but I will admit you're powerful. Therefore, I am able to ensure your survival, if you join me of course and serve as my right hand man. What do you say...it's a fair offer don't you think?"

Sutherland: "Shut up, you talk too much"

Lady bomb: "Huh? Why you little-"

Before she can finish, 4 beams of light pierce all four of her thin veined wings which are only exposed when she is in flight. She falls, crashes into the ground and makes a small crater.

Sutherland: "It's about time…"

Lady Bomb slowly crawls out of the crater

Lady Bomb: "You bastard! What have you done!"

Sutherland: "I've clipped those annoying wings of yours to speed up your execution, that's all"

Lady Bomb: "how'd you? I dodged all of your bullets"

Sutherland: "The special bullets that my servant is capable of creating are beyond a mere insect's understanding."

Lady Bomb: "You think you've won, ahhhhhh!?"

Lady Bomb now without her wings charges at Sutherland, he quickly places his guns in his utility belt without firing a shot.

Lady Bomb: "Whatever you did to my wings, I'll make you pay!"

She goes for a punch to the body, he side steps and kicks her back. He charges at her while she's off balance and delivers a powerful punch to her stomach. She flies backwards and lands back in the crater.

Sutherland: "why the hell are you lying there like this is over. Get up bitch!"

Lady bomb struggles to get up, she is now bloody and beaten.

Lady bomb: "C-come at me you brute, [...Cough, cough] take that revenge you want so badly"

Sutherland: "AAAGGGHHH!"

Sutherland releases a war cry that could be heard all over the mountain.

He rushes at her and delivers a flurry of blows she can not keep up with. She is continuously beaten for 3 minutes nonstop.

Lady: "{To be beaten slowly to death, how pitiful [...She smiles…]"

Lady bomb: "{...I hate everything, so i'll blow it all to oblivion} she thought

Sutherland, after fully releasing his anger and using Lady bomb as a punching bag to do so, finally allows her body to fall to the ground. He felt a sense of relief and satisfaction as soon as her body hit the ground. But mere seconds passed before he felt a sharp pain that he could not explain. The anger and despair from the loss of his friend was seemingly still within him

Sutherland: "What is this, why does my heart still weep…? And why are you smiling, you bitch?!

He looks over at the body that laid defeated on the ground

Lady bomb: "I never expected to be beaten so badly one day that I would die, thank you for that [chuckles in pain]"

Sutherland eyes widened in confusion

"{What the hell are you talking about? Why are you thanking me!}" he thought

Lady Bomb: "It was a pleasure, but your fight with us is not even close to finished. Our roots run much deeper and we are much larger of an organization than you really think we are. We will not stop until we achieve our set objectives, we will carry out the colony's… no, our queen's desires no matter what"

Usually Sutherland would not care to have a conversation with his enemy so this was out of character for him

Sutherland: "What are those desires?"

Lady bomb: "I never pictured you as the type of guy that would ask me something like that… I have been living how i've wanted to live, I truly have no regrets"

Sutherland: "…?"

Lady Bomb: "[begins to laugh…] I really hate people like you, you have no free will of your own do you? You're so caught up with those bonds you call friendship and comradery, you fail to see that it's stripped you of your freedom. [Chuckles slightly] run along now and struggle to live that pathetic existence until we meet again. I will now see my final explosion. My only regret was not living long enough to see the explosion that would end not only me, but everything.

Sutherland: "No wait! We aren't done talking yet"

Lady Bomb: "Don't worry, I'll say "Hi" to your friend in relics or wherever we may end up.

Sutherland: "Wait, what is megacolony after? Why are you people in the dragon empire? What is your mission? Tell me, why!"

Lady bomb: "Goodbye now…"

Sutherland: "Dammit!"

Lady Bomb"I feel so warm, those days of endlessly being abused and wishing death upon myself to put me out of my misery are long gone. This is how I always dreamed of dying, in an explosive blaze of glory… amazing"

A massive burst of light rapidly engulfed the entire mountain and soon after, debris was sent flying in every direction. An enormous explosion capable of almost completely altering the terrain of the mountain was just set off.
