Chapter nine-show time
Bobby's POV
the phone in the living room starts ringing off the hook i decide to be the one to answer it
me:hello?
unknown:Bobby! it that you?
me:Cindy?
unknown:Yeah it's me, how are you?
me:i'm Alright. But more importantly how are you?
Cindy:not so well...Bobby I was an idiot for following Chris here
Me:you can say that again...listen Cindy i'm Saying this because I care about you... you're my little sister
Cindy:Bobby, i'm Only a year younger than you and i'm Your little step sister
Me:i never counted you as my step you were always just my sister...anyways i agree with you you were an idiot for following him
Cindy:But Bobby there's something i haven't told you yet
Me:what's going on?
Cindy:I met a friend here in Italy her name is Juliet and she invited me to her sorority slumber party so I decided I'm staying in italy and i'm going to join her sorority but so is chris
me:What, How is that possible?
Cindy:because he once was a sunflower girl
me:oh...Cindy he won't Hurt you as long as Juliet is around, right?
Cindy:Yeah But Juliet is busy in her life she's the president of the sorority
me:Cindy,don't do anything I'm coming for you
Cindy:Whoa Bobby,hold up what are you gonna do?
Me:I'm coming to Italy i know how chris can be when he's determined
Cindy:Bobby, I don't want to drag you in to my personal problem please don't do anything crazy
Me:don't worry Cindy I'm doing this because I care about you and I'm genuinely concerned for your well-being. we'll set a plan when I get there ,just don't do anything drastic
Cindy:Okay...oh and Bobby?
Me:yeah?
Cindy:Thank you
Me:don't thank me yet
I call the airport and figure out their next flight to Italy is and I buy the first ticket I can it's a 12 hour flight but I'm willing to go through that for my sister. I packed my bag and drive to the airport 12 hours later I make my way to the college Cindy is applying to I get directions to her sorority and knock on the double doors. A girl with long sleek straight brunette hair answers it.
Unknown:hi,can I help you?
Me:hi my name is Bobby Brady, I'm looking for my sister Cindy
Cindy runs up behind the girl
Cindy: oh Bobby think God you're here Chris's threats are getting worse and worse every passing hour we have a talent show in about three hours we're both doing the same talent Chris is singing one of our songs and I'm singing another one. Bobby, I really need your help I don't know what to do
Me:Cindy, you didn't tell me Chris was threatening you
Cindy:well he is
Me:what's the last threat you got?
Cindy:he sent this note to my mailbox
She hands me a piece of paper it reads:
My dearest Cindy,
we both know what you want so let's end this...or if you rather i can keep making your life a living hell. your choice
I am baffled and shaken to my core
Me:Cindy, this is serious. we gotta call the police now.
Cindy:Bobby I can't he'll kill me if i do that
Three hours later we are all backstage. chris comes gliding in
Me:ARE YOU A COMPLETE PHYSCO?
He gives me a creepy smile
Chris:i'm sorry do I know you?
Me:oh cut the crap PETER
Chris:i'm sorry the person you're trying to reach is not available right now call back later
Me: yeah you're A physco alright
Chris walks away and Juliet comes up to us
Juliet:we're just about ready to start...any questions?
I can see the wheels in Cindy's head turning
Cindy:Juliet, can I sing a duet with someone who is not joining the sorority?
Juliet: there's nothing in the rules that says you can't , why what are you thinking?
Cindy:Bobby, you have to sing with me
Me:I'm sorry, did you just say I have to sing with you?
Cindy nods hopefulness in her eyes
Me: ah what the hell? let's do it
Juliet:great, i'll let you guys go last you go rehearse to your hearts content don't worry about anything I have a feeling we know how to get Chris out of the sorority running
Juliet starts off the talent show without any complications thank God Cindy and I are practicing this song as best we can we've always been great partners in crime next on the roster is Chris let's see what song he has in store for us
Juliet:Next we have Christopher Knight singing keep on movin
