Julius P.O.V.
My next job was to steal the rubies off of Rajan's finest elephants. The Cooper Gang needed rubies to craft a saw durable enough to pry the Clockwerk wings off of Rajan's throne in his ballroom. I was excited to be collecting rubies because it reminded me of the very popular Nintendo video game franchise The Legend of Zelda. The Legend of Zelda is a popular video game series that revolves around a boy named Link who has to rescue a princess named Zelda in the land of Hyrule.
I've always loved the Legend of Zelda games. I played nearly all of them on my Gameboy handheld consoles. The Legend of Zelda was like J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings novels, if they were turned into a video game. I got over to the rendezvous point. and opened my binocucom.
"Julius, we need to find a way to get Rajan's prize elephants out of their pen." Bentley said to me.
"I don't know, Bentley, that door looks pretty heavy. Maybe, I can crawl in that hole under the steps and find an alternate route." I said.
I turned off my binocucom and I crawled through the hole. Luckily, I was pretty skinny and lanky, so I was able to crawl through the hole pretty easily. My movement scared the living shit out of a couple of rats. They scurried away faster than The Flash. The rats end up scaring the elephants. They acted like as if they had Vietnam War flashbacks.
"Those rats you just scared went up and freaked out the prize elephants. They're now outside rampaging around the palace." Bentley said to me.
I crawled out of the small dark hole underneath the stairs of the palace. I took a moment to breathe in the fresh air.
"A job well done, Julie. Now comes the hard part. I need you to snatch the headdress jewels worn by both elephants. The jewels are firmly embedded, so keep whacking at them with your jade knife to knock one loose." Bentley said to me.
"I can climb up to the rooftops to catch the rubies off of the elephant's headdresses." I said. I played enough Assassin's Creed games to know that climbing up buildings is awesome.
"This kind of reminds me of the rupees from The Legend of Zelda games." I said to Bentley.
"What's The Legend of Zelda?" Bentley asked me.
"The Legend of Zelda is a video game in which you play as a boy named Link who has to save a princess from an evil demon named Ganon." I explained to the turtle. In the Legend of Zelda games, the player collects red rubies called "rupees" which serve as the currency in the games. The player uses rupees to buy things like lanterns and magical items like a flaming sword.
"Sounds like an exciting game, Julius." Bentley said to me. "Might have to play it some time."
I shut off my binocucom and used my parkour skills that I learned from playing the Assassin's Creed games to climb the rooftops. I leaped across the rooftops with ease. I saw an elephant near my vicinity and leaped on the headdress. The elephant started spazzing out. I had to quickly chip away at the ruby using my jade knife. It was your standard 5 inch blade. The elephant tried to swat me away with it's trunk. I jumped over the elephant's trunk and again chipped away at the ruby. I'd managed to pry the first ruby off of the elephant. I carefully jumped off of the elephant's back. I landed safely on a nearby rooftop.
I tailed the elephant and jumped on it's back again, getting the second and third rubies.
"You got all the jewels off that elephant, now focus on the other one." Bentley said to me.
I also did that to the other elephant as well. I pried the last three rubies off of the other elephant. Once I got all six rubies, Bentley messaged me over the binocucom, saying "That's it. With these jewels, I can make an ultra-hard radial saw for the heist."
I headed back toward the safe house. Upon entering, we were given a slideshow presentation by Bentley. Bentely explained the next parts of the plan: We start things off by demolishing the palace's main bridge. That would cut off reinforcements from the guest house and hopefully distract the ballroom guards who stood watch over the Clockwerk wings. I would then take Carmelita up on her offer for a dance, and while the crowd is transfixed by our tango, Murray would lower into the ballroom on the electronic winch. Once down, he'll cut the wings free and then winch back up for an exit. Murray should then make his way out of the palace. Bentley would cover Murray's exit with the RC chopper. Once he was past the drawbridge, we would be home free.

Bentley went over to the bridge that separated Rajan's guest house from the rest of the palace. He needed to bomb the entire bridge so that way the reinforcements would be blocked and it would cause a distraction for the party guests so that way Murray could be able to easily remove the Clockwerk Wings off of Rajane's throne.
"Okay, Bentley, Murray, Julius, Tommy and I are moving into position... you still think you can demolish something that large?" Sly said to Bentley once he got to the bridge.
"It doesn't take an engineer to figure out how to blow up a bridge. I'll start by placing charges on all of the lower cleats. Once the structure destabilizes, those retainer rings on the upper cleats should pop right off, that should enable me to bomb all of the upper cleats... which will bring it all crashing down." Bentley said.
"Just watch your head when that thing becomes unstable... we need that brain of yours in one piece." Sly said to Bentley.
The turtle proceeded to place bombs on the lower cleats of the bridge. He placed about 4 bombs on the lower cleats of the bridge. Then, he placed bombs on the upper cleats of the bridge. The bridge started to collapse. Eventually, it collapsed completely. The bridge was gone. Now there would be no reinforcements. The gang were in the clear.
"Okay, Sly, the bridge is down. I'll warm up the van and get ready with the RC chopper... good luck." Bentley said.
