Jane's probably right. Guns might be safer in the short term, but in the long term, when Rebecca's having that baby and everyone is forced to fight to protect her, he knows that the risk is much higher.

"Okay, melee only. Shel, pass me a knife." Lee orders. Shel bends down, going through the bag until she finds two buried under a pile of guns. She gives one to Lee, and keeps the other on her. "We ready?" The group nods. Clem walks up to Lee.

"I'll look after everyone here. It seems like a lot of us still need some resting to do." She turns, speaking of Kenny, hunched over with Duck laying still in his lap. Lee can't help but sigh.

"Poor bastard. Thanks, Clem." She nods as he and the group of six clear the clutter from the door and go through it. Immediately, what looks like fourteen walkers come into their vision through the hallway. Molly and Nick stay behind the group. A mass of five walkers bang on the door and wall leading to a bedroom for the civilians. Luke and Jane walk ahead, with Lee and Shel in the middle.

Quietly, Jane jabs a walker in the snout with her blade, while Luke slams his machete into one's forehead before ripping it out with a meaty squirt. One walker notices them and hobbles over, which Lee stabs in the temple, helping it fall down. Shel takes care of the next two alone, piercing one through the skull and the other through the scalp.

"Everyone okay?" Luke whispers. Everyone nods.

"Relatively." Nick replies with a tremble in his throat.

"Relax. You'll be okay."

"Yeah, steady your nerves, dude, otherwise you really won't be." Molly scolds. Nick wants to argue, but they're both cut off by the sound of Jane hacking through three more walkers single handedly, all of which were on the door. Luke runs over and decapitates one from the neck before it can grab her, blood pouring on the duo like rain. Shel rams her knife through the last one repeatedly until it's dead.

"Good job, team." Jane huskily says.

"Let's keep moving. So far so good." Shel prompts. The group continues, obliterating walker after walker with nothing but pure skill and nerve until they reach downstairs: there must be hundreds in the pen and stock room, some of which look fresh. Lee gets a bad feeling that some people chose not to listen to him, and his suspicions are confirmed true when he notices that one of them is the guy who stopped him in the hallway earlier.

"Shit. That's a lot."

"Are we sticking to the plan? Because.. Damn."

"Alright, here's the plan:"
