Julius P.O.V.
You guys ever seen the Mythbusters episode in which Kari, Tori and Grant tested to see if anybody could bypass various sensors in various ways like using cold things to bypass thermal sensors and use various tactics to bypass a motion sensor? No? Well, in case if you haven't seen the Mythbusters episode in question, "Crimes and Myth-Demanors 2", just know that in one part of the episode, Tori, Kari and Grant test out various methods to see if anybody could get past various sensors, whether it be thermal, infrared or motion sensors. In one part of the episode, Kari Tori and Grant tested out an experiment to find various ways to bypass a motion sensor.
First, the MythBusters tried bypassing a motion sensor using a yellow feathered suit that was so ridiculous that not even Carol Spinney, the guy who played Big Bird on Sesame Street would've worn it. The padded suit failed to absorb the ultrasonic waves of the motion sensors. Then, for the hell of it, the MythBusters tried to see if a blanket could bypass a motion sensor. To their astonishment, the blanket had somehow managed to absorb the ultrasonic waves of a motion sensor, as impossible as it may seemed.
That was what I was doing right now. I was trying to see if I could bypass a motion sensor with a bed sheet like the MythBusters did. I was draped over the bedsheet. I explained to Bentley and Carmelita in detail about the fact that the Mythbusters had managed to bypass a motion sensor using a bed sheet. They didn't believe me at first, until I showed them the clip that I was talking about. Both Carmelita's and Bentley's eyes were lit up in shock as they saw the motion sensor not doing anything as Kari crossed the room with a bed sheet over her body. They were flabbergasted. Bentley figured that if a group of scientists could bypass a motion sensor, why not let a teenage human try.
And so, that's how I ended up with a bed sheet over my head. I was in the Contessa's prison. I had previously cut two eye holes in the bed sheet for me to see out of before I put it over my body. It was kind of hard to see out of the bed sheet due to the small holes. I eventually made it past all of the guards using my bed sheet disguise. I then spotted Sly. The raccoon looked like he was trying to take a shit in the toilet. He was in a half squat. I picked up a small pebble and threw it to the raccoon. The raccoon saw a figure draped in head to toe in a white bed sheet with two small eye holes over it. He had no idea that the person underneath the bedsheet was in fact me, one of his best friends.
"It's me, Julius." I whispered to Sly. "I've came to bust you out of here."
"What? Did Bentley knock out all of the guards?" Sly whispered back to me.
"I've got a better idea. Here, take this bed sheet." I said to Sly, throwing another bed sheet to the raccoon. The raccoon picked up the bed sheet.
"Put the bed sheet over your head." I said to Sly. "That's how I was able to bypass the motion sensors of the guards."
Sly thought about it for a few seconds before going going along with my crazy bed sheet idea. The raccoon draped the entire bed sheet over his body. He followed my lead. Me and Sly walked very slowly, unsure if this bed sheet trick was going to work. Me and Sly eventually made it to the big hole in the wall. We silently jumped down to the ground. We immediately took off the bed sheets. Me and Sly couldn't believe that we'd managed to bypass the guards with motion sensors using nothing but bed sheets. I guess what the MythBusters did in that episode was true. A person can really bypass a motion sensor using nothing but a bed sheet.
Me and the raccoon headed back toward the hideout. We couldn't wait to see how Bentley would react once he finds out that me and Sly had managed to escape the prison without setting off the motion sensors. He would be flabbergasted along with Carmelita. The turtle would think that he was going insane. Me and Sly reached the hideout. Bentley was busy trying to set up his RC chopper to throw bombs on the motion sensor guards that guarded the prison. What the turtle didn't know was that me and Sly had already managed to break out of the Contessa's prison by using bed sheets to thwart the motion sensors.
"Hi, Bentley." a familiar voice said to him.
The turtle turned to see me and Sly standing right in front of him. He was shocked. He was speechless. He was flabbergasted. Bentley had a shocked expression on his face. He couldn't believe that I had managed to break Sly out of prison without setting off the motion sensors.
"How'd you escape the prison without setting off the motion sensors?" Bentley asked me and Sly in disbelief.
"Bed sheets!" I exclaimed to Bentley. "Told you it would work."
"Holy crap!" Bentley said.
"I know, impossible." I said.
"How'd you come up with this insane idea of using a bed sheet to bust me out of the prison?" Sly asked me.
"I'll show you later." I said to the raccoon.
By now, Carmelita was in the room. She was obviously flabbergasted at the fact that Sly had managed to escape the prison without being detected. She and Bentley soon got over it and we set up a plan to break my brother Tommy and Murray out of the Contessa's prison.
