The Human World. August 13, 2019. The Greenwood Residence.

Savannah Greenwood was playing some old PlayStation 2 games that she grew up with. The games that Savannah remembered playing fondly were: Ratchet & Clank, Jak and Daxter, Spyro the Dragon, God of War and GTA: San Andrea's. Savannah missed her best friend Julius very much. It was sad to see him go. Many people who knew Julius thought that he had died during the lightning strike a few weeks ago. Everybody thought that Julius and his brother had died. They had no idea that Julius wasn't dead and that he and his brother Tommy were inside of a children's video game that had anthropomorphic animals in it. Savannah was currently playing a level of Ratchet and Clank. It was the original Ratchet and Clank game, not the remake for the PlayStation 4. The human girl played a few levels of the Ratchet and Clank game.

She was very good at the Ratchet and Clank game. She'd been playing the game ever since she was a little kid. Savannah played a bit more. There was a knock on the door. Savannah paused the game and answered the door. It was her father, Vincent Greenwood. Vincent had the exact same hair color as his daughter Savannah. Vincent was wearing a ABBA T-Shirt with jeans. Vincent was a huge fan of the band ABBA. So was Savannah. It was raining outside. Plus, there was supposed to be thunder and lightning. It was night time. Vincent was concerned for his daughter. Vincent was Caucasian, like Savannah and the rest of her family.

"Dad. What are you doing here?" Savannah asked her father.

"Nothing. Just checking up on you. You've seem very quiet these past few days." Vincent said to his daughter. "I want to know what's up."

"I just miss Julius." Savannah said to her father. "He was my best friend. I can't believe that he was struck by lightning like it. It was almost as if he was summoned by somebody."

"I know you miss Julius. I miss him too. But, you got to realize that sometimes things like that happen to people." Vincent said to Savannah. "I've once heard about this guy who survived being struck by lightning almost a dozen times! I believe his name was Roy Sullivan. He was struck by lightning like six or seven times."

"How's that possible?" Savannah asked her father.

"I have no idea. It was shocking when I was growing up. It happened in the 1970's I think." Vincent said.

"He must've been very lucky to survive being struck by lightning that many times and somehow still survive."

"I know. Crazy how things turn out sometimes."

Vincent looked up at the TV. It was on some sort of video game. He was pretty intrigued by it.

"What you playing?" Vincent said. He was now sitting on the bed next to Savannah.

"I'm playing this game called Ratchet and Clank. It's about this furry cat like creature who befriends a robot on another planet." Savannah said to her father.

"Ok." Vincent said.

Vincent decided to stick around with Savannah a little while longer. He watched Savannah play her video game. After a while, Savannah decided to stop playing the Ratchet and Clank game. She ejected the game. She decided to play another game on the PlayStation 2. Savannah scanned her eyes across the many PlayStation 2 games that she owned. A Sly Cooper game crossed Savannah's eyes. It was Sly 2: Band of Thieves for the PlayStation 2. Savannah was a big fan of the Sly Cooper games, like her friend Julius was. She'd played almost all four of the Sly Cooper games. Savannah took out the Sly Cooper game and took out the disc. She put the Sly 2 disc into the PlayStation 2.

By now, Savannah's father had left the room. Savannah started up the PS2. The game started up nicely. Savannah hadn't played Sly 2 in a while. She played it a few weeks ago, shortly before Julius's disappearance from the human world. Savannah last left off on episode 4 of Sly 2. She clicked on her save spot. Then, all of a sudden, everything went dark. It was pitch black, with the exception of the TV screen. All of a sudden, a huge bolt of lightning struck her TV and created a vortex. Before Savannah had the chance to react, she found herself being sucked in through the TV. She blacked out. The 17 year old human girl form Newark, New Jersey had no idea that she was just teleported into one of her favorite video game franchises. Everything went back on in the Greenwood house. Savannah was nowhere to be found.
