Spirits of Old.

Yukio couldn't stop thinking about what Kai'Sa said. How could it be that he had a sister? There was nothing of her, no pictures, no names, absolutely nothing.

That night, he returned home in a hurry, not even paying attention to what Sona wanted to tell him, and immediately went to search for any sort of trace of this so-called sister of his, but as he expected, there was nothing of what he was searching for.

After trashing his entire home in search for clues and finding nothing, he received a call on his phone, it was Sona.

"Yukio, you left without hearing anything about what I had to say" -

"I had to go home quick, I'm sorry" -

"Looking for stuff about your sister?" -

"How do you… Yeah, I came to search for anything about this sister that Kai'Sa said I had, but there's nothing!" -

"Calm down Yukio. If you wish, I can send my familiar to search for her" -

"No, don't do it, there's no point. Who would you search for anyways? If I don't even know what she's supposed to look like and…" -

"Stop, you're merely going to stress yourself out at this rate. I suggest you calm down and go to sleep, it's late already" -

"Ah… Yeah, I think you're right. Thanks Sona, I'll see you tomorrow" -

"Good night Yukio" -

The boy hung up and went to his bed before changing to his pajamas and laying down to sleep. As he was drifting, he changed from being in his room to an entirely different place.

He was now in a field of purple and silver flowers, a dark purple sky above his head.

"Came once again to talk to me? And here I was starting to think you forgot about me" - a female voice spoke from the sky, an easter dragon appeared, a long white and purple color, almost transparent.

"I need to know something Dreams" - Yukio said while turning towards the dragon - "I met someone called Kai'Sa today" -

"Ah, so you're finally making friends? I'm so glad…" -

"Not that. She said she's the Dragonmancer of the Lagoon Dragon. Not only that, but she told me that I have a sister, and told that Truth told her that she needed to run away" -

Dreams fell silent at that moment.

"Isn't Truth your brother? And didn't you tell me that I was the last Dragonmancer alive?" -

"Let me explain, Yukio. First of all, I wasn't aware of the existence of other Dragonmancers. As far as I knew, I was the only one of our kind still alive, and the only one capable of granting others the power of being a Dragonmancer" - she said as Yukio stood in front of her.

"Alright, I understand that, but what about Truth and my sister? Did you know about any of them?" -

"I had no knowledge of you having a sister, nor of the survival of my brother Truth" -

"But how? You've been with me since I was born, and you can see through me, how is it that you don't know anything about…?" -

"Yukio, why would I lie to you" - after facing this question, the boy fell silent - "I've been with you ever since you were born and never once have I lied, I gain nothing from it" -

"Well… Yeah, that's true…" -

"If I had any information on Truth or your supposed sister, I'd share it with you, but for the moment all I can give is a small clue" -

"Clue? I'll take it, whatever leads me to them" -

"Truth's old grounds can still be found in the Underworld. Going there could provide a hint on where he is hiding, and that could lead us to your sister" -

"The Underworld… I'll need to convince Sona to take me there so I can investigate" -

"Now hold on, don't think you can simply rush into Truth's old land and investigate. He left powerful seals that supposedly only him can unlock. I never told him that I can bypass them as well, and by extension, so can you" -

"In that case, then why can't…?" -

"Because Truth's seal needs to be broken through sheer brute strength, which you lack for the moment. You'll first need to get more powerful if you wish to break them" -

"And are you going to train me? That's something new" -

"Not for the moment, but I can tell you this: Just like Truth has his own territory, so do I. It is located in the Underworld, and I can take you there if you so desire" -

"Ugh… Tough choice. I'd like to keep resting but visiting it would be nice…" -

"There's no hurry, you can take as much time as you need before we travel there" -

"Hm… You know what? I can rest later, take me there now!" -

"Aren't you the impatient one?" -

A storm of petals enveloped Yukio, waking him up from his sleep and taking him to the Underworld, to a place not so different from the dreamscape where he and Dreams talked, with the exception of the sky being darker there.

"This looks… Beautiful" - the boy said as he walked amongst the flowers - "Am I really there or I'm still talking with you?" -

"I think you know the answer by now, Yukio. Come on, explore to your heart's content" -

Walking around in Dream's domain, Yukio noticed that there were several statues of her in it, and while a majority were in prime condition, a lot of them were destroyed. Finally, at the center of the domain, there was a giant pool with a statue that originally depicted the siblings Dreams and Truth. Only, Truth's statue was broken.

"Now that I think about it, you never did told me a lot about Truth, I only know he's your brother" -

"He and I had… A complicated relationship. We were born to be the strongest warriors amongst the dragons, but I never went after that ideal like Truth did. I fought when I had to, but I mainly valued the arts more than combat" -

"Is that why Trickster's Fantasy is a flute?" -

"Correct, it was my first ever creation. Truth didn't like this however, and he wanted me to join him as a warrior. I never did, and thus we grew apart" -

"If he was a warrior, then he…" -

"He died fighting alongside the other dragons, or so I thought. After I went into hiding to save myself I never heard from him again, never detected his presence neither in the human realm nor in the Underworld. I tried to visit his grounds years ago, but the seals stopped me from going in" -

"Dreams…" -

"Do not worry about that Yukio, that happened millenia ago. Now, my focus is on helping you track down your sister. If that means I must meet Truth again… Then so be it" -

The entire place started to shake and from the pool, emerged 3 different weapons: A lance, a dagger, and a bow. Behind those, an armor raised itself.

"These were my treasures in life. As you become stronger, you'll be able to use them in your battles, and once you have all of them, you should be able to break the seals that block Truth's grounds" -

Yukio now had a clear goal in mind, to unlock Truth's old grounds and try to find anything about his sister.
