Okay, this is the chapter I won't deny I was a bit anxious about but I'm glad to have made it anyway. Thank you so much to all my patient followers and subs. I really appreciate any comment even if it's a small one and especially when it comes to stories I tend to take long breaks on. Also I sprinkled in a bit of stuff I got from the Togami novel.

Byakuya's POV.
"Time is money!"
This old expression was a universal truth known by all regardless of how poor or rich they were. People with little money tended to have time to waste in not gaining much of it even though it was possible with effort. On the other hand rich people tended to have little of it to waste in making more money even though many had the means to give themselves such a thing if they bothered.
Rich people like the Togami's line had more then enough money to take off work for 2 years and have very little trouble making up for lost revenue. It was all about whether or not they as the commoner's would crudely say "give a rat's ass" about doing certain tasks that took up their time. Byakuya Togami would probably not admit it unless tortured, but since attending Hope's peak his perspective of what to give time to became more open. Not to say he'd just let anything that he couldn't get value from take up his precious minutes.
Case in point being now with his dog Seth barking. Seth was a pure breed Afghan hound who was usually pretty quiet. He wasn't an attack dog but could bite if provoked. It was possible to just shut him up with a biscuit. Something outside must of been getting him pretty excited to be making so much noise. There was no need for him to go and personally see whatever dumb thing in the rain had gotten him so worked up. He could tell Seth was barking at something outside since he could him pawing furiously at the glass front door directly below him. Hopefully a servant would do something about it eventually.
The homework he was finishing was easy and tedious so he set it down to look out the window at whoever was making Seth act up with the annoying noise. It would be a welcomed if not temporary thing to distract himself or at least that was the plan when he walked up to said window. Upon looking out the window he saw the all to familiar bike of the ultimate moral compass, Kiyotaka Ishimaru.
The boy in question was being dragged across his lawn to the door by one of his butlers along with a smaller blue haired child not far behind.
If he could help it he usually avoided the annoying glorified hall monitor as much as he could. Although he could respect that someone wanted to enforce the law and keep delinquents in line, this man could be grating. Sometimes he'd even try lecturing him on things like manners, how he'd alter his school uniform, or not wear his uniform at all when he didn't feel like it.
Uniforms were actually an optional thing at hopes peak with the exception of certain months, events, or weeks. The hypocrisy of someone talking to him in the same tone one would some delinquent while being friends with an actual delinquent was blinding. Who the hell was he to lecture others especially Byakuya about fashion anyway? He literally wore the same thing both during and after school hours every day if what Makoto said is true.
All that aside he couldn't deny being curious as to what brought him to the Togami estate as well as the little boy in tow. Was this some do-goody escapade involving the boy scouts gone wrong? Neither party looked like they were carrying cookies on them. Only a complete idiot would assume the Togami's would want any of those cheap overrated commercialized snacks. Byakuya didn't peg him as the sharpest but thought he had had some inkling of sense to not try that here. Whatever the case he was now more curious than he cared to be and decided to see for himself.
As he walked down the his spiral staircase he could hear speaking.
"Sorry master Ishimaru but your bike might take some time to repair. Would you like some tea?" The familiar voice of Pennyworth asked.
"Th-that's okay, I'm fine with waiting if it's not inconvenient to you." replied the Kiyotaka. He was shaking some from still being wet.
"Um, if it's also not a bother can I have Dajeeling tea with a little sugar sir?" The unfamiliar young voice must of been the kid.
"Nagisa, you can't just ask people for odd tea they may not have when your a guest in their home like th-" Kiyotaka started to rant only to be cut off by Byakuya himself.
"My family has ties to every tea plant from here to London, of course we have that tea you simpleton." He said this rudely while rolling his eyes at the moral compass as he walked into their view before turning his gaze to the now identified companion.
"I'm less surprised you wouldn't know of it and that this child does considering it's not sold around this region of Japan. It's actually from India."
He looked at the child now identified as Nagisa with an interrogative gaze then before addressing Kiyotaka.
"Other then getting my floors dirty with filthy rainwater, what exactly are you doing here and with this child? I don't care what kinds of brownie points your trying to gain with the school by helping some snot noised brat charity of..." He paused mid sentence as looked back at the kid again while taking in his features a little more closely this time.
To the kid's credit he didn't squirm much at all under his judgmental gaze like many receiving it for it for the first time. If anything now that the attention was on him, he stood up straighter, patted his stray hairs back into place, and returned eye contact. He must of been trained to give himself as disciplined of an air around him as he could despite his age. Other then being a child he reminded somewhat of a well trained head servant waiting to either give or be given a command from his liege. At least in looks anyway though he was still a fairly plainly dressed kid.
The clothes may of been fairly expensive in the eyes of someone like Ishimaru but not even close to his own style at that age. His face suddenly reminded him of someone he read about at one point that was considered a future Hope's peak high teacher.
"Child, you wouldn't happen to be of relation to Kazuya Shingetsu would you? What is your name?" Byakuya asked.
He bowed his head politely before introducing himself.
"Hello, my name is Nagisa Shingetsu and I'm the son of both him as well as Kana Shingetsu. I know you didn't ask it but I go to Hope's peak elementary as the little ultimate social studies." He said.
"You shouldn't overshare unless asked to rugrat, all I asked was a yes or no question. Still I would think a potential candidate to teach at hope's peak would have better choices in company for his offspring." Byakuya said.
"What's that suppose to mean?! Just because my family line isn't as well known or "perfect" as yours doesn't make us bad company. The Ishimaru family acknowledges our bad apples but don't let them define us as a whole. From what I've heard you don't even acknowledge your siblings and your family simply tosses out ones they feel shamed of like they don't matter just to look good." The moral compass argued.
"I never said your family was bad, just not the best of company. I had over 110 siblings in the beginning. It was really a favor for both parties that they didn't have to struggle keeping up with the rest of us nor us having to watch them pathetically attempt. No different then putting down a race horse when it's broken it's legs. Not only is it useless to the rider but it would only live it's last days in agony. It's mercy more then anything. Since you took us away from the original subject I now have to ask twice. What are you doing here?" Byakuya asked again.
"You can justify yourself however you want but it's still a rude tradition to keep. As for why we are here I was helping Nagisa take a break with studies by practicing some endurance training on our bikes. He wanted to come here to return something since we'd be in this area. I didn't think it would be at your house."
Nagisa took that as his cue to present the lost dog toy to Byakuya.
"I met your butler in the park a few days ago and had been meaning to return this." He said with a smile.
Byakuya just rolled his eyes at it but took it from his hands anyway.
" I really don't know why my sister insisted to put that "please return." rubbish imprint on it. Even if the hundreds of toys he has all burned in a fire we could order more. Still you in a way saved me a future headache if she found it missing so thank you."
"Your welcomed Togami sir." The boy said politely.
"Well I'm glad you were able to get that taken care of. Now we really should be on our way home to-." Byakuya cut him off.
"The rain is only going to get worse over the course of the next hour. As our class rep I'd think you'd be less careless as to either get sick or injured for the sake of training. At least let me provide a ride to your homes before you do anything more reckless. "
Not wanting to be too rude of an example in front of Nagisa, Taka agreed to the ride after they had their tea. The two of them rarely spoke much if any so he sipped the admittedly very good tea in awkward silence as Nagisa and the heir talked. The blue haired boy seemed happy to talk about his talent, how he met Taka, and even about a few of his friends that he mentioned on their bike ride over. Although a stubborn part of him didn't want to admit it he was impressed that Byakuya offered them a ride. He was a lot more hospitable then Kiyotaka would of thought.
"Maybe Makoto was a bit right. He was rude about it but he didn't need to do this for us. He's even really listening to what Nagisa is saying. I don't personally agree with his family's beliefs and I don't think we'd ever call each other friends. Still...maybe I gave up on being civil to quickly. How can I honor my own title if I hold my bias against someone? I can't see us being close friends but I guess we... or at least I can make the effort to be more lax with him. We can see where that goes." Kiyotaka thought to himself.
He waited till Nagisa was done talking and there was a comfortable enough pause in conversation to talk.
"Say Byakuya, your a part of the business club at Hope's peak right? I'm not all that interested joining myself but Nagisa has told me about wanting to improve his talent into something better. Do you think he'd be a good candidate?" Taka asked
For the first time since they met at his house there was a look of being caught off guard by the comment on the heir's face. Not so much in the annoyed or insulted sense but he found it random to bring up. They had gotten into an argument about who's morals were more sound only 15 minutes ago and now he was asking something about him with interest? Nagisa didn't say anything but looked an odd combo of nervous and excited at the news of something new. Now he was somewhat trapped between Kiyotaka's not so subtle rapid glances to and from Nagisa along with said child's big excited eyes. After wrangling the look off his face and composing himself enough he answered.
"Yes that's true but Nagisa would be the only one his age there. I've heard of the program between us and the elementary school but if he joined it he'd have to be serious. If he wants to hone his talent or make it something better then the club won't baby him with the assignments we partake in. He'd have to abide by the rules the same as all of us regardless of his age." Byakuya said.
"I'm fine with that honestly. I already have a few friends from my school in programs there so I could hang out with them later. I don't mind being around older kids and I assure you I won't expect any special treatment." Nagisa assured him.
"Ok then, I'm not saying yes but if you can do this current club assignment and a presentation at the end of next week then you can join. Each member needs to do a presentation of their genealogy and highlight which one do they aspire to be or avoid being. Can you do that?"
"Yes, my father says there's not a lot I need to know about them since he's the last of them but I can probably research some things online with permission."
"Good."

Hello everyone! I hope the year has been treating everyone good so far. Long time without an update and here we are. I don't want this stories pace to go to slow or to fast.
