I actually do have several chapters started on my other stories but I just cannot get myself to focus on one. So people will simple have to enjoy whatever I give them when I can give them.
Have people read the Trials of Apollo: Tower of Nero yet? Last book in the Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus/Trials of Apollo series! It for the now the ending of the canon series!
Sigh…. Considering how long I was away from this story the responses I got for my return (and LONG chapter) were kinda lackluster, I guess? I really did try to find a way for you guys to get the main points of the Naruto and Ares fight without having to write it all… Maybe I am being too hopeful comparing this story (or ANY of my stories) to Six Paths Jinchuuriki easily my most faved and wanted story? Oh well what can you do.

Chapter 24 Naruto gets a new Patron and 'Aunty'?
While Percy was having an awkward but long overdue chat with his father Naruto walked out the throne room. He could sense many different powers which he knew were the 'main' bodies of the Olympians. They were situated in different palaces across Olympus but he still could sense his mother and father's power inside his father's Palace.
His parents had explained to Naruto that although they were truly here for him his entire life they were not all there. They best described it as their main self being like Naruto but with many shadow clones limiting their powers so they could interact with the mortal world and perform all their duties as Gods at the same time.
Naruto was walking causally through until he reached his father's palace which was a shining Gold although he did note there was some silver as well.
'Maybe Dad decided to make it abit homier for Mom to be in?' Naruto thought as his mother did admit despite her public annoyance with her twin she did actually like his style although it was a tad excessive.
As soon as he walked through the door, he was nearly crushed in a tight hug from his mother who once again was in her 18-year self as she scooped him into her arms once again.
"My baby!" Artemis shouted as she buried her face into his hair holding him as if he was going to disappear at any moment if she let go.
Naruto meanwhile clung onto her just as tight wrapping his arms around her waist feeling the warmth and love from his mother surge around him once again. He may be more mature mentally then kids his old age and experienced more then Demigods but he could freely admit being too clingy to his parents.
After several heart warming minutes Artemis drew back but kept a hold of his shoulders as she looked lovingly deep into her son's eyes. She was easily in awe that his different eye colour due to her claiming drew her in even more. She had always loved her son's natural blue eyes which he had inherited from Minato and Apollo but his sparks of silver she loved even more. His silvery eyes and tips of Auburn he now had were even more distinct sign of their nature as mother and child.
"I love you mom. I missed you." Naruto said simply as he once again blown away from his mothers' natural beauty. Despite lacking any form of romantic feelings or lust towards his own mother he could however reluctantly and resentfully admit to himself that he understood why countless mortals, demigods and even Gods lusted after his Virgin mother.
His mother never wore a single speck of makeup or lipstick but her face was still incredibly beautiful. Her long auburn hair was tied in a simple ponytail with her silver eyes showing nothing but love and affection. Her lips were naturally red without a single flaw on her breathtaking face.
'Glad I don't go to mortal schools or Mom would probably turn the entire male population into squirrels if they gawked at her.' Naruto thought in amusement as despite her much more 'chill' attitude she would likely still take offense at being gawked at like a piece of meat.
"Welcome back Naru." Artemis said with pure love using a cute version of his name now that it was just the three of them again. In her eyes he was always her baby as she remembered every one of his first times as a baby. She was very proud of him making his first steps but the first time he called her 'Mama' which was his first word as well was probably the happiest moment of her existence.
Apollo despite being more serious and fatherlier as his time of Minato still held some of his natural humour and silliness as he gave a sly grin.
"Careful Artemis or Naruto could develop an Oedipus complex and want you to himself." Apollo warned but his silly smile indicated he was just joking.
Naruto turned bright red and indignant as he glared at his dad. "Dad! Don't even joke like that!" Naruto pouted as his Dad held back a laugh.
Artemis giggled which she only did in the presence of her son, brother and hunters showing she held no ill feelings about this joke.
"Its okay Naru. Its only natural sons think their mothers are beautiful and perfectly natural." Artemis lectured but her barely contained giggles showed she was joking.
"Not you too!" Naruto whined seeing his parents' team up on him before Artemis gave him a wink.
"Although. You have seen how much an Oedipus complex Apollo on our mother." Artemis revealed as now Naruto had the grin while Apollo frowned.
"Artemis!" Apollo whined as he crossed his arms in annoyance.
"Oh, come now. It is no shame you constantly asked to bathe with mother just to be 'near her' right Apollo?" Artemis asked with a smile. AN2:
Apollo blushed refusing to admit constantly wanting to bathe with his mother before becoming an Olympian. It was not his fault he was abit of a 'Mama's Boy' was it?
As Naruto and Artemis shared a laugh at Apollo expense he pouted as he was now the one being ganged up on.
Before he could say his complaints Naruto quickly ran up to give his Dad a tight hug with Apollo instantly holding him by the shoulders.
"Love you Dad." Naruto said as Apollo heart once again filled with fatherly pride at his pride and jopy once again was with him again.
"So proud of you my pride and joy. You did what no others could do and handled the full power of the most powerful Tailed Beast." Apollo said with love as Naruto just numbly nodded.
Naruto was told as a baby despite admittedly spending most or at least a majority of his time with his mother in her arms he cried when he could not spend time with his daddy every day too.
Apollo had openly told Artemis that the time with their son where the highlights of his day no pun intended.
Naruto just nodded numbly into his father's shoulder who appeared as an 18-year handsome man. It was his 'preferred age' when he used to hit on any girls that came his way but now it was the form, he used to be the man his son needed. AN3:
"It was a spur of the moment thing. I didn't even know I was truly different till I moved and beat Ares." Naruto mumbled as his parents shared a look.
'Like I thought Kurama and Naruto must have truly joined their chakra in that moment of desperation. It was dangerous so his body aged to handle the excess power.' Apollo noted while Artemis looked concerned for a moment.
Apollo stepped back and sent his son a teasing look and wink. "You looked tall for a few minutes but now you are back to a shrimp kiddo." Apollo joked as Naruto sent him a scowl.
Naruto was rather tall for his age but compared to his 16-year self he was short.
Artemis sighed dramatically raising a hand to her lips.
"My baby boy looked so handsome! But that means many women will desire him and my child may not be able to resist their wicked charms!" Artemis claimed as Naruto turned red.
'Must not think of them… Must not think of them.' Naruto thought as Zoe, Piper, Annabeth, Silena, Thalia, Bianca and even Yugito appeared in his mind all smiling brightly at him. AN4:
Naruto pulled back from his father as he scowled at both of his parents who laughed lightly at his expression.
"Hmph! I am too young to date let alone think about marriage." Naruto told them as Artemis nodded approvingly while Apollo sent him a discreet wink as if he knew about his confused feelings.
"Sure, my little Sunshine. Nothing is going." Apollo said although the glare by Artemis indicated she knew what he was thinking.'
Artemis then turned to Naruto with a warm smile.
"You handled yourself excellently Naruto after the fight. Asking for permission to using the Flying Thunder God Jutsu to Camp Half Blood and near Olympus was the perfect way to show your respect to us and the council." Artemis praised as Naruto rubbed his head.
"And you telling Percy to handle his cool when talking to Father and Uncle was good as well. Father can be rather… difficult at times…" Apollo said with a wince as he bit his lip. Artemis and Apollo looked like they wanted to say something else about Zeus but held their tongues.
Naruto hummed before saying "Grandfather was rather blunt but he seemed rather tolerant of my existence even after I used Kurama Mode to defeat Ares." Naruto noted as Artemis nodded her head.
"Its because you handled yourself well in the Throne Room showing you are not a threat to him or the world. Plus, you are my child as well Naruto. Never forget that." Artemis informed him as Naruto nodded.
Apollo had often complained that Zeus favoured Artemis over him (usually when they took trips to the Elemental Nations where the Gods couldn't hear) and Artemis never denied that fact. Although Artemis did not seem to care much more worried about Naruto's opinions on them.
This moment was soon halted when they heard knocking on Apollo Throne Palace. Naruto was on guard when Artemis and Apollo face grimaced.
"Hera." Artemis said with slight venom.
"Artemis be calm. We cannot make an incident and Hera would be foolish to try anything." Apollo reminded her as Artemis looked at Naruto but nodded stiffly.
Apollo waved his hand as the door opened and Hera gracefully walked in with a neutral expression of her beautiful face.
Naruto would never say it out loud especially with his mother there but when he saw Hera his heart beat several times faster due to how simply beautiful, she looked. Her beauty easily rivalled his mothers with a graceful proud face, with long chocolatey brown hair flowing down her back. Her brown eyes were sharp but hid a warmth and power. She wore a simple white dress that flowed as if it was oil on a white canvas. AN5:
Naruto was also quick to note unlike his parents who were their 18-year form, Hera appeared to be easily in her mid thirties like he assumed most mothers and fitting Hera's domain of motherhood. Of course Naruto knew as Gods they could appear in any age they wished or as Apollo jokingly stated 'any gender or shape they wanted'.
Hera nodded to Artemis and Apollo before giving a warmer look with her eyes sparkling when it came to Naruto.
"Artemis. Apollo. Thank you for letting me into your temple." Hera said diplomatically.
Artemis eyes narrowed but she nodded her head.
"Lady Hera." Artemis said simply just as a sign of respect she was her father's wife.
"Lady Hera." Apollo said with a guarded look in his eyes.
"Hello Naruto Uzumaki. It is about time we met." Hera said warmly with a warm motherly smile as Naruto smiled weakly.
"My Lady. You honour me." Naruto stuttered bowing. He knew his mother and father had a very strained relationship with his Step-Grand Mother.
Apollo raised an arm protectively in front of Naruto making Hera raise an eyebrow but her expression did not change.
"What do you want Hera?" Artemis said bluntly as Hera did not seem to be offended by her bluntness.
Hera raised her arms and crossed them beneath her admittedly large chest and sighed.
"I just wish to meet the saviour of Olympus like the rest of our family. Is that too much to ask?" Hera asked as Apollo frowned.
"Percy Jackson is in the next room. I am sure you could meet him instead." Apollo said invasively not wanting his son to be bothered with his Step-mother.
Hera sent un lady like scoff making the twins greatly surprised.
"I am sure Poseidon will consider his son the hero for being asked by the Oracle. Athena will consider her daughter for being the brains the true hero." Hera said dismissively before her look zoomed in Naruto who looked abit intimidated.
"But I know the truth. The one who got the group out of the annoying Hotel, the one who defeated my disappointment of a son AN6: and stopped my husband and my brother from going to full out war. Is right there." Hera said looking at Naruto as Artemis stepped forward as well effectively shielding Naruto with both their bodies.
"Well Hera. If you have something to say to Naruto you can say it here with us here." Artemis said stiffly.
Hera sighed before putting her hands by her hips looking abit annoyed.
"Very well. I Hera swear on the River Styx, not to harm Naruto Uzumaki during our chat on Olympus. I will not attempt to move him somewhere not on Olympus or make him a promise or swear on the River Styx anything during our chat. I will return him to his parents here on Olympus unharmed once my chat is done." Hera swore.
Even on Olympus Naruto and his parents could hear distant thunder sealing the oath on the Styx.
Artemis and Apollo still looked abit uneasy as swearing on the River Styx would not have particularly harming effects on the Immortal themselves hence why Zeus and Poseidon were not that bad off for having Demigod children after their Oath.
Naruto could see that his parents would still reject so he decided to take things into his own hands.
"Wait. Lady Hera I will go with you." Naruto said as Hera gave him a warm smile while his parents looked alarmed.
Artemis bent down to his eye level and looked at him with concern.
"Naruto. You do not need to go anywhere no matter what she said." Artemis insisted before Naruto shook his head.
"Mom. If I am going to continue to live here in this world I have to accept and learn to live with my Immortal family and that includes Lady Hera. She is offering me an olive branch so I am going to take it." Naruto said seriously as Apollo and Artemis exchanged worried looks.
"Well put Naruto." Hera said in approval as she grabbed Naruto hand softly as if he was a child before she looked back to Artemis and Apollo.
"You do ANYTHING to him and I swear to you Hera, I will make your suffering eternal no matter who you are." Artemis warned her eyes flashing silver which made even Naruto gulp as Apollo put a hand on her shoulder gently.
"Duly noted." Hera said flatly with a blank stare before her face warned when she looked at Naruto.
Apollo watched his step mother and beloved son walk off together as he released a sigh before Artemis signalled to him to look back.
One of his statures was melted before he sighed again.
"I guess I lost my cool." Apollo said before snapping his finger repairing his statue instantly.
Hera and Naruto walked for a minute before Hera snapped her fingers as Naruto blinked to see they were now what he assumed was Hera's Throne room.
'If Grandma Leto had a throne room, I think it would be like this.' Naruto remarked as he could not help but feel this place with homey and even a place he would happily sleep in if he didn't know whose room this was.
Hera snapped her fingers as a couch appeared underneath him instantly while she sat on top of her bed crossing her legs with a pleasant warm smile.
Hera then snapped her fingers again as a table appeared with many home cooked items like roast beef and potatoes, steak and fries, Sheppard's pie and other assorted things appeared in perfect china Lily Plates all warm and perfect smelling.
Naruto honestly had to resist drooling and digging in as Hera sent him an amused look almost as if she could read his mind or at least expression.
"Well enjoy my little hero." Hera said proudly but Naruto hesitated knowing his parents stressed 'there is no such thing as a free lunch' especially when it came to other Gods.
"Is it all right my Lady? I would hate to impose on you." Naruto asked with a bow. Naruto personally tried to reserve judgement on the beautiful Goddess despite his parents overall negative view on Hera.
"Do all mortals and Gods think I do nothing but try to screw over mortals and demigods?" Hera whispered with a sigh of exasperation which Naruto caught with his enhanced hearing.
"I Hera swear on the River Styx this food has not been tampered with or will not influence or poison anyone." Hera declaring her oath as once again there was distant Thunder from the River Styx.
Naruto hesitantly took a bite from the mashed potatoes and nearly sighed in content. He was used to his Aunty Hestia cooking which in his opinion was the best and most honest but Hera's summoning of Food was a close second easily surpassing the cooking at Camp Half Blood.
Naruto carefully and quickly ate all the food as Hera smile grew bigger watching the mortal, she was currently in charge of enjoy his meal.
Several minutes later Naruto finished eating as Hera swished her finger again making the unclean dinner vanish instantly as the table disappeared as well leaving Naruto essentially face to face with the beautiful but deadly Queen of Olympus.
"Thank you, my Lady, for this generous meal." Naruto said with a bow as Hera waved her hand allowing Naruto to rise again.
"No thanks are needed. It was my pleasure Naruto." Hera said with a bright smile that still made Naruto on edge.
Hera frowned seeing his reaction before she sighed and looked at him in the eyes.
"What did you parents tell me about me?" Hera asked seriously but Naruto could tell it was a demand not a request.
"Well my Lady they…" Naruto started before Hera raised a hand.
"I do not wish for you tell me about what they told of my history. That is not relevant. I wish for you to tell me what they told you if I ever met you." Hera clarified with a hint of impatience.
Naruto bit his lip and looked around before staring up at Hera's inquisitive brown eyes.
"My parents told me about the warning you told them on my birthday. You would not aid me or hinder me since my parents were married when I was born. Hence I was not an insult to your domain." Naruto admitted before Hera waved her hand.
"And?" Hera inquired asking deeper.
"To not expect any meeting with you to be particularly pleasant." Naruto admitted knowing it was pointless to lie to the Queen of the Gods.
Hera let a sigh of frustration before muttering "Of course they did but I suppose they are not wrong to think that."
Hera looked up at him with a warm motherly smile.
"I suppose if you are candid enough to tell the truth I will do the same." Hera stated as she rose up from her bed towering over Naruto but to his shock, she actually shrunk down to an 18-year-old looking version of herself.
She still retained her otherworldly beauty but was now much closer in height to Naruto but a small part of him noted that her chest although scaled down with her reduced height still seemed to very big.
Hera gave a warm melodic laugh which actually made Naruto a little less on edge with the Queen.
"Is it really that surprising I would take a look closer to what your parents look like when they take care of you?" Hera asked rhetorically as Naruto just blinked.
"I meant those words when I spoke them to your parents those years ago. I intended to watch but not intervene in whatever fate my husband's children child had gotten himself into." Hera said sternly as Naruto gave a swift nod in reply.
'Honestly I think for most demigods like Percy that is the best they could hope for from an Olympian.' Naruto thought.
"Like my husband I was quite shocked when you were brought to Olympus not as a sign of a broken oath but a sign of true love from Artemis and Apollo. To be honest I have always thought Artemis was very cold to almost everyone while Apollo treated life as a joke." Hera said honestly as Naruto resisted the urge to defend his parents knowing there was some truth to Hera statement.
"However instead my Step-children returned as more mortal then I believe any God could be. They were only concerned about you and making sure you had a place of safety for your life. It baffled me that any God let alone two of them would put someone else ahead of them." Hera stated as Naruto resisted the urge to smile proudly at his parents.
"Then I saw your fight with my son Ares." Hera continued as she visibly sighed when she said son not bothering to hide her disappointment with him.
"My husband has always been a stickler for the rules so he refused to let any of us intervene while Ares was having his fun not even when it became dangerous obvious, he intended to use full power against non-immortal beings." Hera informed him but he saw the hidden message that Hera was trying to send to him.
'Zeus follows and makes others follows the rules except when it comes to his own self interest.' Hera said with her look she gave to Naruto.
"That power you used gained from controlling the Tailed Beast inside of you was on par if not surpassing the full power of an Olympian in their true Divine Form. Something thought impossible for Demigods to surpass let alone a mortal otherworldly or not. This greatly piqued my interest Naruto Uzumaki." Hera informed him as Naruto stared at Hera wearily.
"What is you want with me? My Lady Hera?" Naruto asked as Hera smiled before raising her hands up.
"Nothing except for you to be my champion Naruto Uzumaki." Hera said warmly as Naruto eyes widened.
"Your champion?" Naruto stuttered not expecting this from history Goddess who liked Demigods least.
"It would rather simple. I give you a portion of my powers as part of this arrangement and in return I have a being whom can help me understand the mortal world better." Hera stated as if it was the simplest thing in existence.
Naruto decided that he would be frank.
"My lady I am flattered but am I really the best choice? According to my mom you favoured Jason of the argonauts because he had no direct ties to the Gods. I may be mortal but I still a child of your stepchildren." Naruto pointed out as Hera smiled fondly. AN7:
"Yes Jason. I remember my little Hero. Shame he failed to live up to his promises and broke Medea heart." Hera said sadly as if remembering a reward that failed to live up to the bet.
"But you Naruto Uzumaki seem to have good morals and the power to change and help the world. I wish to place my bet on you and what changes you will bring to our world." Hera stated before her eyes grew bitter.
"I am the Goddess of Marriage Naruto. I cannot have any demigod children so I am unable to have the experience of watching my mortal children flourish or fail. Even your mother used her Hunters in such a way before you were born." Hera said looking vulnerable for just a moment before she looked just as regal as she did as always.
"Now will you let me bind us as champion and Patron Naruto Uzumaki?" Hera asked seriously as Naruto thought it over.
'I did not sense a single lie or negative intent the entire time she was talking. This could have many benefits and may be the one thing that will heal the bitter feelings between my parents and Hera.' Naruto weighed it up in his head.
"I accept my Lady." Naruto said gratefully bowing at his knee.
Only for Hera to give him a sigh making him look up.
"Naruto you will be my champion so in a sense you could considered my child. So my only condition is you will never refer to you as 'my Lady' when we are not in public. Please refer to my as your 'Aunty' like your Godmother my sister Hestia." Hera demanded as Naruto looked shocked.
"But that is so informal especially for you!" Naruto insisted as Hera frowned at him.
"Naruto." Hera said sternly crossing her arms.
"Yes, Aunty Hera I accept this Patronship." Naruto relinquished as Hera smiled at him.
"Now the ceremony to celebrate and finalize this new relationship." Hera declared as she gestured for Naruto to close his eyes.
Naruto closed his eyes and heard shuffling in front of him. He waited but then he felt something warm and soft press against his chest making him shocked. He swore his face was about to explode when he felt a soft pair of hands grip his chin and then he felt something wet and soft press against his forehead.
He opened his eyes in shock when he noticed Hera give him a warm, motherly and wet kiss on the forehead with her perfect red lips. It only lasted for a few more seconds before she let go and Naruto stumbled back in shock.
"Aunty!" Naruto said in reflex as his face turned the reddest possibly when he could not help remembering how soft and perfect that small but affectionate kiss on the forehead felt. He also registered her warm cinnamon smell that wafted over him during that close contact.
Hera gave a warm smile and laugh at Naruto reaction finding it very sweet and cute.
"What's wrong my son? Did you not like it?" Hera asked playfully as Naruto stuttered.
"Uh uh." Naruto brain was fried as although he was used to seeing his beautiful mother and even seeing beautiful demigods almost daily. It was almost completely different to get a kiss even a maternal one from a fully mature beautiful Goddess like Hera. AN8:
"I was just showing you a motherly act of love since we are in a way mother and child." Hera stated but her warm laugh showed she enjoyed this a lot.
Naruto stuttered before Hera waved her returning Naruto to his parents instantly.
After laughing for several minutes her expression grew pensive.
Then another Hera appeared beside her with a serious expression except she had a blue dress and black hair instead of brown hair. AN9:
"Was this the best course?" The new 'Hera' asked with a frown.
"It's the only way he will have a solid foundation if they need to rejoin again Juno." Hera said pointedly as Juno sighed.
Juno and Hera were both back to the normal age of early 30s as they sat on Hera bed next to each other.
"They will not accept him easily mortal or not. Diana and Artemis are supposed to remain childless." Juno reminded Hera who crossed her arms.
"Yes, but with us as his Mother we can make them at least respect him to a degree." Hera said as Juno hummed before nodding her head.
"Does he know about them as well?" Juno asked making Hera think it over.
"No, I do not believe Apollo or Artemis would tell him especially since his origins could make him seem dangerous." Hera noted solemnly.
"It is for the best unless we need to act." Juno noted before she looked at Hera directly in the eye.
"Are they aware he is not just their child but both of theirs as well?" Juno asked before Hera gave her counterpart a humourless laugh.
"I can only assume so but I know the rest of my family only think he is one not the other let alone both. However, since we are so closely connected, we can see the truth clearly." Hera stated.
"He will be the only truly hope to unite them." Hera and Juno declared before Juno vanished.
AN2: This is all AU but I like adding more to Artemis and Apollo history as they are easily the most important Gods to Naruto.
AN3: Look I KNOW the myths and the Trials of Apollo confirm that Apollo is bisexual (although he apparently only has Demigod kids with women. He apparently won't adopt children to be in bisexual relationships.) TECHINCALLY in this series it did happen too and Naruto is aware of it but its pretty minor in this story so I won't be pointing it out!
AN4: He has met Hazel in a sense as he could tell one spirt was 'different' but he didn't even really notice her face. He might be able to recognize that he met her in Heroes of Olympus but he doesn't really know right now she is Hazel.
AN5: I am using her Battle of the Labyrinth look as I think that would be her most 'consistent' look. Just like Artemis always has Auburn hair and silver eyes in my story.
AN6: as Juno in the Lost Hero he actually refers to Ares and Hephaestus as disappointments to Jason in his dream. Hera might feel this way at least about Ares.
AN7: I know in Greek Heroes its revealed Jason is a legacy but Hera refers to him as mortal so I am going with that too.
AN8: Naruto is still young and very impressionable. Hera enjoyed watching her 'son' react.
AN9: Subtle clues to the future.
