I don't own Halo or Stargate SG-1

So here we are again in chapter two. I hope you guys are liking what I'm putting down. Though the Halo, and by extent the Stargate, community are a lot more reasonable when it comes to interpreting lore, unlike the Warhammer community. From the messages, I have been getting most readers wanna see where I take Six and the story before committing to that follow button. Which is fine. Already we have broken one hundred followers which is pretty good for a first chapter.

I suppose this would be as good a time as any to say that this story does follow the scripting of the Stargate TV show. Normally I try to avoid this as much as possible as I am not a fan of fan fiction that's a simple rewrite of the canon but just adding a character. I tried to change up the original sense a little but at the same time, I didn't want Six to steal other characters' moments, like Jack finding the Tok'ra traitor. I want Six to do his own things that do not involve doing what SG One does but better. To that end most of that will be in the next chapter, this chapter is more about the SGC crew getting to "know" Six. Lots of talking with no real attachment to canon other than the ending. The next chapter will fall in line with a canon episode with Six being added in. I hope this will be the only time I have to write so close to a canon episode.

Seeing as there are only two guest reviews and they are both supportive reviews we are just going to dive into the chapter after the general thank you. Speaking of.

Thank you for all your supportive reviews, and I hope to maintain your support in the coming chapters!

Now the story.

Noble Six had met many UNSC marines in his life, many of whom he fought alongside in the field. He made it a point to assist soldiers and civilians whenever he could, and because of this he and Jorge quickly became friends. Six knew that not many Spartans held non-Spartans in high regard nor genuinely cared for non-Spartans beyond the instilled notion that it was their duty to protect humanity as a whole. One could say that Six was a part of a small group of Spartans who people could classify as "still human".

Considering that, this Colonel O'Neill would do better to pay more attention to his surroundings. He had seen many relaxed soldiers in the field but even they kept themselves alert to a possible ambush. Six supposed that the colonel was not expecting a fight, but even so, a soldier always needed to be alert when in the field.

The Colonel was joined by a civilian Doctor named Daniel Jackson. His first impressions of the doctor were like other civilians Six came across, though Doctor Jackson seemed to have some level of military training if not firsthand experience. He seemed like the type to talk his way out of a situation than shoot his way out. There were not many like that anymore given the goals of the Covenant.

After searching for Six for a while O'Neill and Daniel were joined by the rest of their team, and soon after Six began shadowing them. Samantha Carter seemed more like Doctor Halsey though Samantha held a military rank. Unlike Halsey however, Samantha seemed like she would be kinder than Halsey. She seemed inquisitive with an above-average intelligence if anything, she was also more on the alert than the Colonel. A part of him did not want to call her by her last name given that the death of Noble One was still fresh in his mind. For the short time, he was in Noble Team, Six did feel like he truly belonged in that team. Though as it would seem, Six was cursed to be a lone wolf until the day he died.

Then there was their final team member. This Teal'c was clearly a warrior from his disposition and body language. He had an odd golden symbol on his forehead that Six did not recognize. He also carried some kind of staff weapon that Six had not seen before. Judging its effectiveness would prove rather difficult but he trusted that his armor would hold up against it should Diplomacy go south.

Six maneuvered through the back alleyways and streets making sure to not make a sound. The Promethean watcher stayed close to him, thankfully it did not make much noise as it followed him. Six knew that appearing before the SG team would spook them and make his interaction with them more precarious. So, the Spartan opted to get ahead of them and let them come across him thus making them less surprised when they found him.

As of now, the SG team was making their way toward the western side of the city. There was a smaller plaza in the direction they were heading with more than a few bodies he could pretend to investigate. It did not take him long to reach the plaza where more than a dozen of the slaver's bodies lay in the sun. Six chose to inspect one of the bodies near the central fountain should he need to dive into cover.

Noble Six kneeled down next to the body and waited for the SG team to arrive. His motion sensor picked up the SG team's approach a few minutes later along with the alerted whispers that followed. Colonel O'Neill was the first one to spot him and alert his team. Seeing as they had spotted him, Six chose to stand and turn towards the SG team. The surprised look on their faces confirmed to Six that they had never seen a Spartan before. Given that the UNSC broadcasted the exploits of the Spartan-IIs there was not a soul in UNSC space that did not know what a Spartan looked like. It could also be that this was the first time they had met a Spartan and were surprised to find one on this backwater world. Whatever the case was Six needed off this world and pointed towards UNSC space.

"Well, Carter looks like you were right again," O'Neill commented to his squad mate. He kept his weapon close to his body, ready to bring it up should Six prove to be hostile. "Definitely not a golem, it's got a little friend too. Teal'c any ideas?"

"I have never encountered anything like it, Colonel O'Neill." Teal'c answered keeping his eyes trained on Six.

They probably assumed that he could not understand them and as such spoke openly.

"It definitely doesn't look like anything the natives built." Doctor Jackson added looking more fascinated by Six than intermediate.

"Maybe you should try talking to it, Daniel. You like making friends." O'Neill joked.

Doctor Jackson spared the Colonel a look before looking back to Six. He began speaking in the native's language.

"I can speak English just fine, Doctor Jackson." Six replied not knowing what the doctor had said in the native's language.

All save Teal'c, who raised his eyebrow, were surprised by Six's statement.

"Well, that saves us some time I suppose." O'Neill joked surprised. "So… hey, uh, you're the golem the locals are talking about?"

Six nodded recognizing the term the locals gave him before inducing himself. "First Lieutenant Sierra-B312, United Nations Space Command. You may call me Noble Six or Six"

It occurred to Six that he really hadn't used his given name in a long time. Sometimes Six wondered if he was truly one of the "human" Spartans or if he was just so used to acting like a normal human that his mask stopped becoming a mask at one point. Was he human or just a machine that was extraordinarily good at pretending to be human that he thought of himself as a human?

Six mentally shook his head. No Six knew that his humanity had not died during his training to become a Spartan. The best lies had traces of the truth in them. He genuinely wanted to help people when he could, that was no lie.

"Well, I'm Colonel Jack O'Neill, United States Air Force." O'Neill greeted the Spartan in much the same way. He then gestured to the rest of his team. "That's Daniel Jackson, Captain Samantha Carder, and Teal'c."

Teal'c bowed his head slightly in greeting as he was introduced. The other two greeted him with a slight head nod. Six on the other hand recognized the nation called the United States, later becoming the United Republic of North America, from Earth's history. Needless to say, a few mental alarms went off in Six's head.

"The locals say this is your handy work." O'Neill went to bring Six out of his thoughts. "Can't say I'm a fan but-"

"Jack, I don't think this is the time." Doctor Jackson cut in. "You seem more advanced than the people here they think you are a golem, a sort of guardian. We assumed you might be protecting some sort of advanced facility."

"Negative, I recently arrived here through an advanced alien races teleporter." Six answered. Most Spartans would have been vague about their way of arrival but given that Six was not sent here by ONI and that he needed their help getting off this world he would have to be more cooperative with them. He would be straight with them from the start. "I am trying to get back to UNSC space if you could assist me, I will provide whatever assistance I can until I am able to return to them."

Again, they all look at each other.

"You'll have to understand that we can't make any promises without talking to our superiors first," O'Neill answered. Noble Six nodded understanding. "Before we head back to the stargate you said you arrived here from an alien race's teleporter. Any chance you can show us where that is?"

"Is about twenty-five klicks north of here on the side of a mountain. The facility itself has been abandoned for some time, I've already tried to salvage anything I could find but everything there is too far damaged."

"Well, maybe one of our teams can find something," Samantha suggested sounding semi-excited at the idea of checking out some alien ruins.

"Yes, I would love to try and understand who these people were." Daniel followed up.

"Let's get squared away with Six here before we go around looking for alien ruins." O'Neill cut in.
"Why don't you follow us to the Stargate, maybe you've seen, big round ring. Besides, I rather not hike all the way there and back."

Before they set off O'neill radioed in the other SG team informing them of the situation. Once that was done Six and SG-1 and 2 began to make their way back to the Stargate. Upon arrival Samantha, at O'neill's request, approached the panel device with the symbols and began to press them as if she were putting in a security code. The Stargate began to light up as she pressed the buttons. Soon the Stargate activated, creating the same pool that it had before. O'Neill stood next to the portal and activated his radio.

O'Neill spoke to someone named General Hammond. The colonel pleaded Six's case to him and urged that someone like Six could be a help to their war. While Six was none too keen to get involved in someone else's war he did offer to help them in any capacity he could. As long as he wasn't going to be doing anything illegal under UNSC law he supposed he would help them in their war. Compared to the war with the Covenant how bad could it be?

After a few more minutes O'Neill got the general to agree to meet with Six. O'Neill relayed the good news to Six, who pretended not to know what was being said the entire time. Spartan's enhanced hearing had its uses. O'Neill looked at a device on his wrist before gesturing to Six to enter the portal, though O'Neill did warn the spartan that the first time going through a Stargate could be disorienting.

O'Neill stepped through and Six followed soon after. Six's shield flared but his HUD did not register any fall in his shielding. In the next moment, Six was in the interior of what seemed to be a bunker, he also noted a light layer of frost over his armor. He was on a platform with the Stargate and two 50. Caliber turrets were just below the platform. They were both pointing at him and manned by soldiers. Just beyond the ramp were two squads of soldiers in a firing line.

Noble Six was unimpressed by the security, everything was too close to each other. One or two grenades would defeat this defense with ease, never mind Six's own skills. There was a window behind the firing line that gave Six a clear few of a type of control room with more than a dozen technicians and operators manning the various computers and other tech. Two tall sliding doors seemed to be the only exit out of the room Six found himself in.

The rest of the SG-1 came through the stargate and made their way down the ramp. At the same time, the right sliding door was opening allowing an older-looking man in uniform. He had the markings of a Lieutenant General symbolized by the three silver stars on his shoulders. On instinct Six saluted the general after he had ordered his firing line to stand down and turned to stand in front of the ramp. The general was surprised at first but a soft smile came to his face.

"At ease, son." The general spoke, allowing Six to drop his salute. "I'm General Hammond of Stargate Command. I would like to welcome you to Earth. Colonel O'Neill tells me that you're a long way from home."

Although they could not see his face, Six eyes were wide. General Hammond claimed that he was on Earth. As in the center of UNSC territory as well as the homeworld of Humanity. Just what had that forerunner teleporter done to him?

"Yes Sir, however, something tells me that I may have found it already."

The General gave Six a confused look. "Let's discuss this further during debriefing. In the meantime, I am going to have to ask you to surrender your weapons."

"Yes Sir." Six replied walking down the ramp and handing off his plasma repeater, forerunner shotgun, grenades, and combat knife to the waiting soldiers. Besides, Six did not need his weapon to kill everyone here.

"I assume your… friend will not be a problem?" General Hammond gestured to the watcher hovering just behind Six.

"No, Sir." Six answered, it did not seem to take hostile action against anyone who did not attack Six first.

"Very well then, these men will escort you to your room while we prepare for the debrief."

Six nodded and allowed himself to be shown to his temporary room. Once there Six waited for this debriefing to get underway.

General Hammond and members of SG-1 sat at the meeting room's table.

"So, you are saying that this man wiped out an entire civilization by himself." General Hammond summarized.

"Well Sir, Six has not outright admitted it, but the locals' reports point to a golem who wiped out these slavers," Samantha explained. "He is the only one who fits the description of a golem."

"What about his weapons?" Hammond asked.

"Preliminary analysis suggests the blue weapon Six had is some form of automatic plasma-based weapon, we confirmed it when we tested the weapon. The other weapon on the other hand… Well, we have not been able to make it work. When one of the science teams held the weapon, it fell apart in their hands." Samantha reported. "His knife seems to be made of some unknown formula of titanium. His grenade seems to be more powerful than ours but still runs on the same basic principles."

"Could we replicate these weapons?"

"The science team believes they can replicate our guest's grenades. However, his plasma weapon will take much more time to fully understand. Without breaking down the titanium the knife is made from to research it, I don't think we will get far; I would rather have Six's permission before we start breaking his stuff without a foreseeable way to fix it. As for the plasma weapon right now Sir it's in the same park as Teal'c's staff weapon, never mind his other weapon. The one that fell apart is clearly more advanced than anything we have come across aside from maybe the Stargate itself. I also hate to be the one to tell him that it fell apart in our care."

"Then we come to the man himself," O'Neill commented in anticipation of the next subject matter.

"Sir, just from looking at his armor it is clearly very advanced," Samantha added, taking more of a serious stance on her observation with a hint of excitement. "If we could learn how to replicate it, we could outfit our men with a clearly superior-"

"I think I get the picture Captain thank you." Hammond thanked Samantha. "You mentioned that Six claimed to have arrived on P7X-671 through means other than the stargate."

"Yes Sir, Six said that an alien teleporter sent him to P7X-671. He gave us some general directions but I think we should send in a drone to see if we can't find it." Samantha answered.

"I'll have a drone prepped. In the meantime, we need to discuss what to do about our guest."

"I don't think there is much to discuss," Daniel commented. "He wiped out a civilization-"

"They were slavers, Daniel." O'Neill defended not caring for the slavers himself.

"But that does not justify slaughtering a people just because of their way of life. The Greeks, Romans, and countless other cultures had slaves." Daniel countered. "I am no fan of slavery, but it does not justify killing them without mercy."

"I'm afraid I would have to disagree with that Doctor Jackson." The general replied, his words measured. "The United States stance on slavery is clear, I would have been forced to take a humanitarian response and send in troops to liberate these slaves."

"Then why don't we do the same with the goa'uld?" Daniel countered getting a negative but respectful tone.

"Daniel Jackson," Teal'c spoke in his normal claim and collected tone. "You should know that such an attack would result in the many lost lives of SGC personnel. However, the slavers we encountered were primitive resulting in far less SGC personal losses."

"I just think we could have helped these people see that slavery could have been abolished without shooting at them." Daniel reasoned.

"Such of method would have taken time, meanwhile the slaves of these people would continue to suffer." Teal'c countered maintaining his claim tone. "While Six's method of dealing with the slavers is brutal, it brought a swift end to the slavers' culture and allowed the people to start over."

"Anything would have been better than slaughtering a bunch of people. It's how we set ourselves apart from the goa'uld." Daniel ended up looking dejected from the conversation.

"I do find it odd that he saluted you when he saw you enter General." Samantha quickly changed the subject.

"I was surprised by that too. I was not expecting him to have knowledge of our military protocols." Hammond answered.

"Maybe this UNSC he talked about has a similar command structure," O'Neill added shrugging and leaning back in his chair. "Though that comment he made about finding his home already. I mean I can't be the only one that thought it was odd."

"Many cultures have some version of Earth instilled in their culture," Daniel added. "It's possible that he comes from one such culture."

"I don't know Daniel, Six strikes me as a military man through and through." O'Neill countered.

"I agree." Teal'c concurred.

"We could always ask him ourselves, Sir." Samantha suggested.

"I think that would be the best course of action." Hammond agreed before looking over to a nearby airman and nodding his head. The airman stood to attention before leaving the room. Minutes later the sound of heavy footsteps came from the door leading to the hallway before Six himself entered the room, along with the flying drone he arrived with.

Six saluted Hammond before lowering it. "How can I be of assistance, Sir?"

"We wanted to ask you a few questions about yourself, Six," Hammond answered before gesturing to an empty chair. "Why don't you take a seat."

The guest looked over to the chair in question before looking back to the general. "Sir, that chair will not hold my weight."

"How much do you weigh?" O'Neill asked, looking rather interested about his weight.

The spartan looked over at him. "In armor, around half a ton."

A pungent silence fills the room.

"How do you move around in that?" O'Neill finally asked.

The man in armor did not reply immediately, as if debating whether or not to answer the question.

"My armor is what many call power armor, most of the weight is shouldered by the armor itself." He finally answered.

"Why don't you take it off then." Daniel suggested.

"Without the facilities to re-equip it, it would be better for me to leave it on."

"How are you going to go to the bathroom?" O'Neill asked with slight childish curiosity.

"The armor has a waste disposal system." He answered simply.

Silence once again returned to the room.

"Let's move on," Hammond commented, hiding his disgust with the idea of using the bathroom in armor. "I think we both have a lot of questions to ask each other."

"If I may, Sir," Six interrupted before the general could go on. "I have one question I would like answered if you are able."

"Go ahead."

"What is the current date?"

"By our calendar, it's July 30, 1998."

Their guest looked away, with his helmet on there was no way for them to tell how he took the answer.

"Is there something wrong?" Hammond asked.

"Sir, last time I checked it was August 30, 2552."

"So, you're saying you're from the future?" O'Neill asked confused.

"I am no expert in these types of things. It could mean many things." Six answered.

"He could be from an Alternate reality." Samantha added. "Remember when Daniel touched the Quantum Mirror and was sent to an Alternate reality? Six could have had something similar happen to him."

"Except according to my Earth's history Humanity had not started colonizing other planets until 2080." Six interjected walking over to the window to look into the Stargate Room. "You said you need help with a war, I am going to assume that this war is fought against aliens."

"Technically," Daniel interpreted Six. "We are fighting a race of Parasitic Symbiotes, called the Goa'uld, who trick their followers into believing that they are gods. They have legions of genetically modified humans called Jaffa who host their offspring. They are much stronger than normal humans."

Daniel's explanation of the Jaffa, although accurate, seemed to have the goal of demoralizing their guest. However, it seemed to have the opposite effect.

"Can normal humans kill them?" Six asked.

"They don't react well to bullets," O'Neill answered sarcastically.

"Then they will not be a problem for me." Six answered, turning back to the window. "Returning to my original point, I have never heard of a parasitic race called the Goa'uld. In my reality humanity has been fighting a war against a collection of alien races known as the Covenant." The man in armor paused. "We had just lost one of our fortress worlds before I came here."

"How do you know your reality didn't have the Goa'uld?" Samantha asked as if it were a possibility.

"How large is the Goa'uld's sphere of influence?"

"Several hundred worlds," Teal'c answered.

Six turned and walked over to the table. "In 2525 humanity had colonized over three-hundred worlds and never once had they encountered the Goa'uld. The Covenant is rumored to be in control of most of the galaxy."

"So, we established that Six here is from an Alternate reality." O'Neill began to summarize. "He wears armor that weighs half a ton, and his version of humanity is better off than we are at the moment. The question that is lingering on my mind is what you are. You did not give us your name, just a bunch of numbers. So are you a cyborg or something?"

Once again, their gray-armored guest was quiet. A full minute had passed before the giant spoke again.

"Most information involving me, and my origins are classified and on a need-to-know basis." Six finally responded.

"Noble Six," Hammond spoke, taking on his general tone. "I'm sure you are aware that I am responsible for everyone on this base. I can't in good conscience send the men and women under my command out with unknown assets. I am going to have to formally ask you as a general to tell me what you are and your capabilities. I may not be a part of your UNSC but I have classified clearance-"

"With all due respect Sir." Six interrupted. "This may be the past and an alternative reality, but you are asking me to commit a breach of protocol by revealing classified information. I can share what is public information about the special forces unit I belong to but beyond that, I cannot reveal any classified information without special permission from an authorized member of the UNSC."

The silent implications were not lost on Hammond. Six would not reveal the classified information about him, and if that meant that he had to leave he would be fine with it. General Hammond leaned back in his chair. He weighed his options. This Noble Six was a part of special forces in the future. His help in the war against the Goa'uld would be invaluable if his skills in toppling this slaver civilization were anything to go by. It would be in the SGC and Earth's best interests to get him on their side. So, despite himself, Hammond had no choice if he wanted Six to fight on their side.

"Very well, Six." Hammond relented. "Tell us what you can."

"The special forces unit I belong to is codenamed The Spartan program. A program that took volunteers from different branches of the UNSC service and augmented them to make them more efficient soldiers. We were given specialized armor to assist with our battlefield performance. To help with the overall morale of humanity, some of our declassified mission reports were given to news outlets to broadcast to civilians."

"So, you're a super soldier," O'Neill asked, a hint of excitement creeping into his voice.

Six nodded his confirmation.

"You said that your name was Sierra-B312, or Six, what does that mean exactly?" Samantha asked, gaining the Spartan's attention.

"If I were to write out my destination it would be written out as S-B312. The S stands for Spartan. The B stands for the company I belonged to, Beta Company. I was the 312th candidate for the Spartan-III Program hence the number." Six paused for a moment. "As for Six… the last unit I was in before arriving here was called Noble Team, I was the Sixth member."

"So, then what's your real name?" Daniel asked a bit put off by the fact that these Spartans seemed to be created as machines if their name was anything to go by.

"Spartans generally do not share their true names, unless with another Spartan. As for me, I simply grew used to being called Six." Six lied, at this point having them feel some sympathy for him would work in his favor. "Most of my missions were done alone, it was not until I was assigned to Noble Team that was I able to work with fellow Spartans for an extended period of time. I… enjoyed it."

The gathered SG team and General all exchanged looks with each other. Daniel was the first to speak up.

"What happened to them?" Daniel asked.

"They did their duty." Six replayed as a matter of fact. "They gave humanity a chance to win."

"Sorry for your loss." Daniel apologized.

Six looked over at the doctor. "As I said, they did their duty. Many Spartans are sent on missions knowing full well that their missions are borderline suicide, but it is necessary for the survival of mankind."

"Sounds like your superiors are treating you like hardware," O'Neill commented not liking the idea of sending good soldiers on suicide missions.

"We knew what would be asked of us when we volunteered. I have nothing against my superiors for their… treatment of me and my fellow Spartans." Six lied again, his true feelings on the matter were not important right now.

"What are your capabilities, Six?" Hammond asked changing the subject.

"Sir, like all Spartans I am trained in CQC, firearm discipline, as well as many other combat-oriented skills. However, unlike most other Spartans I have more training in infiltration, Wetwork to be specific, and specialized training as a dedicated marksman. I have completed over a hundred missions behind enemy lines as well as infiltrated and assisted with the termination of dozens of terrorist cells on multiple worlds. I have carried out multiple assassinations of high-ranking convent officers and other targets of importance. I have engaged the Covenant on multiple fronts, most recently on the planet of Reach I also have training in the operation and maintenance of many of the UNCS' air, space, and ground vehicles. If push comes to shove I can operate alien equipment, though I will need time to learn the specs of the goa'uld's equipment."

"That's got to look good on a résumé," O'Neill commented, impressed by the lengthy skill set.

"It is most impressive," Teal'c observed.

Hammond spoke next. "Is there anything else you can tell us? Would it be possible for us with your help to recreate this Spartan Program?"

The reply was instant. "No sir, not with this time period's level of technology. Even then the specifics of the Spartan program are heavily classified. At most you might be able to make minor repairs to my armor, however, even then my armor is considered classified UNSC hardware. Protocol would not allow me to let you study it, I would have to make the repairs myself with anything you could provide me."

"Seems like we have to deal with a lot of red tape to have you onboard," O'neill commented, slightly annoyed.

"But as Six has stated, he is a formidable warrior. Though his people hold their secrets close we must use every means to fight the Goa'uld. Six is offering his service to help fight the Goa'uld, we should accept." Teal'c explained.

Hammond looked over to Six and stood up. The old general approached the Spartan-III and offered a hand. "Noble Six on behalf of the United States of America I ask for your assistance in defending Earth from the Goa'uld threat."

Noble Six looked to General Hammond and took his hand in his own. "I swore to protect humanity and all of her colonies. I transfer myself to your command until the war is won, or until I am able to rejoin UNSC forces."

Noble Six returned to his room once he finished being briefed about the Goa'uld, then he went through the US Air Force's psych evaluation to test his mental state. He passed, but due to his enhanced hearing, he heard the evaluator tell the General that while he was fit for duty Six was borderline fanatical about his duty. Six of course was not surprised it was how the Spartan-IIIs were trained to be, devotion to duty beyond what any normal human would call Heathy. Then he took a combat test, many for the purpose of seeing how he would hold up against a Jafa. He dueled Teal'c with quarterstaffs then hand to hand.

Of course, Six had to hold back, not only was he still in his armor but he was dueling a non-spartan. Even though Teal'c was considered much stronger than a normal human, he was not a spartan in Mjolnir power armor. Six had heard that the reason Spartans only trained with each other when it came to CQC, was because almost every time a spartan duel's a normal human said human came out with serious injuries at least.

Six made sure to voice the possibility that he could seriously injure Teal'c. However, the members of SG-1 did not seem to think there would be a problem. Six warned the jafa to not hold back against him and to his credit, Teal'c said that he would not hold back. Though Six had a feeling that Teal'c would not give it his all. Not a moment after they started Six closed the distance between them and had the former first prime flat on his back. Two more rounds began before Teal'c reported that he might need to visit the infirmary, without even trying and holding back a great deal Six had cracked two of Teal'c's ribs.

After returning to his room Six went about cleaning his new weapons so they were ready for combat. They had yet to return the weapons he arrived with but seeing as he was no fan of the plasma repeater, he was planning on letting the scientist keep it for study. Besides, it was standard procedure to turn over covenant weapons for study back with the UNSC. Six much prepared his inferior human weapons anyways as he trained to use them. Weapons such as the energy sword always fit his hand oddly as the handle was not crafted for human hands, a lot of the covenant weapons had this problem though the energy sword was the most notable.

He was given two weapons to add to the weapons he brought with him, the Colt M16A3 rifle and the Colt M1911A1 pistol. After looking over the weapon catalog Six did ask for the Barrett and M1014. The Barrett was the closest thing to the SRS99-AM sniper rifle and the shotgun for when his forerunner one ran out of ammo. Spartans were trained to make use of any weapon they could, seeing as he would be fighting an enemy with similar weapons to the covenant, he needed to be ready to engage the Goa'uld with everything he had at his disposal.

As of now, Noble Six would not be put into any of the existing SGC teams, and instead, he would operate in his own squad by himself until a proper team is put together to complement his combat skills. Seeing as no one else on the base could keep up with him, Six assumed he would be on his own for the foreseeable future. Though Six didn't mind it, he was used to working alone surrounded by enemies. Seeing as the general did not have any infiltration missions in mind Hammond had signed Six to provide backup to any SG teams who were under heavy fire.

Until such time Six would stay in his room until he was needed. It was still too early for him to start marching around the base like he was a part of the unit. Many of the people here did not trust him and it would take time for them to come around. Until then he would sit in his room and be ready to deploy at any moment. As the spartan looked around his room, it occurred to him that it might be prudent to ask for reinforced furniture to support his weight in armor. He would have removed his armor if he had the facilities to re-equip it, like other Spartans he treated his armor like a second skin and he preferred it to have on. However, unlike other Spartans, he did not feel naked without it. Six did not need his armor to perform his craft, though the same could be said for any spartan.

A knock at his door bought Six out of his musings, his watcher also turned to face the door.

"Come in." He called standing up from his sitting position on the floor.

The door opened and Captain Samantha entered and flashed him a smile. A scientist pushing a cart came in after him. The cart held the weapons and equipment he arrived with; he noted the forerunner shotgun was in pieces much the same way he found it.

"We brought your gear back; we wanted your permission to keep some of your gear to study if it's alright with you," Samantha asked while Six approached the cart.

Six picked up the handle forerunner shotgun, like before the shotgun reassembled itself. The captain and scientist looked on in awe as the weapon reassembled itself. Six stopped himself from grabbing anything else, the forerunner weapon was the only thing he felt that it would be best left with him.

"What do you want to study?" Six asked.

It took a moment for Samantha to reply. "Uh, your knife is made from a type of titanium that we wanted to study and try to reproduce, we also wanted to study your plasma weapon and grenades."

Six mentally nodded, the knives Spartans were given were made from hyper-dense metal alloys, making them nearly unbreakable while also maintaining sharpness even after much use. Six understood why they would want to study it, though he did like his knife. The grenades would be easy to part with given how often he used them. He would probably get more once he was sent on a mission.

"Take what you need to study, though, it will be best for the shotgun to stay with me." Six answered placing the shotgun on his back letting the magnetic locks hold it for him.

"Right, thank you Six." Samantha acknowledged waving the scientist away. "Is there anything else we can get you?"

"Reinforced furniture to hold my weight in armor. I wouldn't want to break anything."

"I will pass that along then," Samantha answered heading towards the door. "Goodnight Six."

'Goodnight? Is it night already?' Six asked himself.

Spartans could go longer without sleep than normal humans. He supposed he could get some rest if he would not be needed, he had only slept in his armor a few times during missions behind enemy lines. He could do so again, despite what many would think it was comfortable in the armor. Seeing as he would not be needed for the night Noble Six found a place to lie down and closed his eyes. It took some time with his eyes closed but soon enough he nodded off.

SG-1 was under heavy fire from Goa'uld death gliders, with them and running towards the activated stargate were Nasyans who had become the target of the Goa'uld attack force. Another SG team was taking cover just in front of the gate attempting to ward off the death gliders with their small arms but to little effect. Most of the Nasyans had already made it through the gate and the last surviving members from their town where making a mad run for the gate.

One of the attacking death gliders fired upon the fleeing Nasyans, the shock wave from the plasma weaponry sent a few nearby Nasyans into the air with several burns on their bodies. Samantha stopped to help one of the Nasyans, an older man who had been thrown into the air by one such explosion. O'Neill attempted to help another Nasyan who was also hit by the same explosion, lucky she was still able to run. The older man on the other hand was less fortunate.

"Come on Carter we need to move!" O'Neill ordered as the woman he was helping got moving again.

"He's still alive sir!" Samantha called back trying her best to revive the older man.

Growling to himself O'Neill found some cover and started to shoot at the death gliders overhead. From the corner of his eye, he could see jafa infantry approaching their position their staff weapons opened and ready to fire. He was about to call Samantha again when his radio cacked and General Hammond's voice came through.

"Stand by SG team's reinforcements inbound!" Hammond declared through the radio.

O'Neill spared a quick look at the gate expecting to see another SG team come through, what he saw instead was not what he was expecting. A dark-gray blur flew out of the stargate followed by a slower flying gray and orange lighted drone. It took a moment for O'Neill to remember just who that drone always followed around.

Noble Six was running at full speed through the battlefield, he made sure to avoid any Nasyans in his way as he ran. His enhanced sense quickly spotted one of the death gliders making another strafing run on the fleeing civilians. Six knew that his weapon would have little effect on the death gliders and chose a more impractical method of dealing with them. Taking some C4 from one of his pouches, Six predicted the flight path the glider would take and tossed the charge into the air in its path. When the glider got close enough the spartan pressed down on the detonator and watched as the C4 exploded knocking the death glider out of the air and causing it to crash into the lake beside them.

Six then took aim at the approaching jafa. From what he knew about them almost all of them only had their body armor to protect them meaning their heads were completely vulnerable. Switching his weapon to semi-auto Six took aim at the approaching jafa and fired. Each bullet fired found its mark in one of the charging jafas' heads dropping them. They were a far cry from what he had to deal with when it came to covenant elites with their shields. All in all, they were like grunts to him, one clean headshot was all it took to bring one down.

While Six engaged with the attacking Goa'uld force O'Neill took this moment to grab Samantha who was attempting to give the older Nasyan mouth-to-mouth. He might have been jealous if the adrenaline pumping through his body had his mind focused on getting his team out alive. Just before he got to her O'Neill saw the Nasyan reach up and grab Samantha's head keeping their lips together for a moment before Samantha pulled away. Some blood collected on the side of her mouth but other than that she seemed fine.

Once O'Neill got to her he quickly asked if she was alright. She seemed a little shocked but nodded and said she was fine. Seeing that the old man has passed on O'neill pulled Samantha up and began running towards the gate. He spared a look back to see Six cutting down Jafa like they were kids attempting to get a ball away from an NBA legend. None of the jafa stood a chance against him. Even the little drone was doing its own work as it shot little orange bolts into any offending attacker while avoiding any returning fire.

Before he knew it O'Neill was at the gate with the rest of the SG team going through with the last living Nasyan. Samantha went through next causing O'Neill to cup his hands to his mouth and call for Six to fall back. Six turned his head to O'Neill clearly haven heard the major over the sound of the fighting, and a few more jafa fell dead at Six's hands before the Spartan turned and started to make his way towards the gate with his drone following after him.

O'Neill stepped through the gate and waited for the Spartan to arrive. Moments later both Six and his drone came through and the general then proceeded to order the iris closed. A few thumbs against the iris were the only signs given that a few jafa had followed them through but were smashed to nothing when their bodies hit the iris.

Some of the Nasyans were staring at the spartan in awe as if a god had descended from the heavens and delivered them from the Goa'uld. One or two of the Nasyans got down on their knees and started to worship the Spartans but a few guards were quick to correct them. O'Neill also caught Samantha staring at Six like this had been the first time she had seen him. To be honest, O'neill might have done the same seeing as this was the first time, he had seen Six in action.

As he gave a short report to Hammond O'Neill couldn't help but think that things were finally looking up for the SGC and its war against the Goa'uld.
