So, done with a semester of college, which is why I haven't been updating my stories as much. I'm writing this the day before Christmas Eve so Happy Holidays. Update at the end, so for now enjoy.

"Well shit." Peter thought to himself. He hoped that Juri would listen to reason to help him, but he also realized that trying to get Juri to listen to reason was about as easy as Gabriel and Amélie joining back into Overwatch after being on the team that was trying to kill them. Still, Peter hoped maybe he could get through to Juri. "I'm not fighting you Juri."

"Trust me, you won't get to see tonight if you don't." Juri responded.

"So much for talking." Peter thought. He cracked his knuckles and got into his fighting position. "Have it your way."

It was quiet and no one made the first move for a few seconds until Juri had a devilish smile on her face and started running towards Peter. She aimed a kick towards his head and missed when Peter ducked below it. He shot a web at he face, causing her to mess with the webbing if she wanted to get back in the fight. He threw a combo of left and right hooks at Juri's face, which ended with her grabbing one of his arms and throwing him over her shoulder. She stomped on his chest, keeping him pinned to the floor.

"Seriously? How the hell is she this strong?" Peter thought to himself. Juri was able to break the webbing off her face and looked down at Peter, currently struggling to get her off of him.

"I thought you were supposed to be The Amazing Spider-Man. Didn't think it'd be this easy to take you down." She gloated. "Or are you just going easy on me?"

As if on cue. Peter used one of his webs to pull Juri's free foot towards him, making her lose balance and fall on her back. She quickly got up to a backwards roundhouse kick to the left side of her face. The recoil made her stumble towards the roof door as she turned around to see him getting ready again.

"Round 2?" Peter quipped. Juri smirked and spit the blood out of her mouth. She closed the gap between them by doing a spinning cartwheel kick in the air, catching Peter off guard. He took the hit, making him stumble back towards the edge of the roof. Juri saw this and decided to take advantage and go for a high kick, but Peter used her momentum against her and made her almost fall off the roof, but he caught her last second by shooting a web line at her back.

"Will you listen to me now Juri?"

"Why should I?"

"Because I'm the one who can determine right now if you land on the pavement or on the floor of the roof." Juri sighed and looked back at Peter.

"Fine...I'll hear you out." Peter pulled on the line and brought Juri back to stable footing. She crossed her arms as Peter sat at the edge of the roof.

"You and I both know Bison and Seth are insane."

"That's obvious Peter."

"You know you are also insane too, right?" Peter said. Juri simply chuckled and sat down next to Peter.

"To you, and maybe anyone else who wants me dead, probably." Juri said "Not my fault though."

"And why's that?" Juri laughed at the question.

"That's not how it works Pete. I agreed to hear what you had to say, not tell you my story."

Peter rolled his eyes in annoyance before getting on with what he planned to say. "I seriously need your help Juri. Bison took one of my friends, I don't know where to even start looking, and Seth made sure the X-Men didn't have a place to go back too, so now I'm basically screwed unless I find a lead." Juri crossed her arms and stared at Peter with a smile.

"You know, you're kinda cute when you're panicking." Peter didn't know how to process that response, so he tried getting the conversation back on track.

"I-I'm being serious Juri."

"I am too. But fine, play dumb." Juri stated, happy with herself from making Peter stumble on his own words. "Knowing Bison, he's either gonna try to make whoever he kidnapped show him their skills and powers and after, either recruit them, enslave them, or kill them."

"Well that's just perfect. A enslaved Rogue fighting alongside Captain Dickhead." Peter stated sarcastically.

"There's two places Rogue could be kept. Either in a old Shadaloo Base in the Himalayas, or in Bisons secret lab in Egypt. I'd rule out the one in Egypt."

"Because?"

"Because he wouldn't be dumb enough to have her there of all places. It's on the way here, which was one of the fight locations for this tournament."

Peter thought about what Juri was telling him. He didn't trust a lot of what she was saying, but knew he couldn't pass up any leads on where Rogue was being kept. "Guess I gotta get a Parka ready." He got up from his roof edge seat and stuck out his hand for Juri. She accepted his hand and got up after him.

"I'm probably gonna regret this..." Peter started. "Juri, if we're going to stop Seth and Bison, we need to work together. Meaning that you gotta be honest with me and my friends."

"As long as your friends don't try to antagonize me, they'll live. And you'll know what you need to."

"Better than nothing I guess." Peter said. He looked down and saw Wrench and Mystique waiting for him in the street. "Ready to head down?"

"After you Petey." Juri stated. Peter rolled his eyes as he held onto Juri and shot a web to swing them down to street level. The both of them landed and walked towards the car when they saw Wrench and Mystique.

"Great. So now that we got our merry band of mutant, super-powered, crazy, terroristic freedom fighters, what's the plan now?" Wrench asked.

"Umm, who are you exactly?" Juri asked.

"Spidey's best friend."

"Some days, and others he's some guy who I regret meeting."

"Hey if it wasn't for meeting me, the whole thing with Talon wouldn't have played out the way it did and you wouldn't have your powers back."

"I…highly doubt-"

"Anyways, I'm Wrench, and blueberry lady here is Mystique."

"I told you to quit calling me that!" Mystique exclaimed.

"I'm sorry I try lightening the mood you're always in."

Mystique sighed. "I'm surrounded by idiots."

"Anyways..." Peter said, trying to get everyone back on track. "Juri says that Rogue might be in a abandoned Shadaloo base in the Himalayas. Only problem would be getting up the mountains to the base."

Wrench sighed as he hung his head down. "Well I'm not freezing my ass off to hike up to a abandoned base to possibly get shot. What if we came from the sky?"

"If Bison took Rogue to that base, he'll have only told a certain amount of people, including pilots. We would need to hijack or sneak onto whatever aircraft he's using to bring supplies in and out." Juri stated.

"Well if worse comes to worse, I can impersonate the pilot, but what about when we get there? I highly doubt we can be quiet for that long." Mystique asked.

"Umm...we wing it." Peter said

"Wing it?" Mystique asked annoyed.

"Got any better ideas? We don't even know what the place looks like."

"No you don't, but we do." The four of them turned their heads to see 3 people walking up to them, one guy and two women.

"Ahh crap." Wrench stated. "Pete, these three are some international police or something. Guile, Cammy, Chun-Li."

"And the international police are here because?"

"You and Juri Han are under arrest." Guile said sternly.

"Sorry solider boy, not happening." Juri said tauntingly. "At least not willingly."

"Well this is just great." Peter said to himself. He turned his attention to the three international government agents in front of them. "Look this might look bad-"

"You're working with a terrorist." Cammy stated bluntly.

"Ok that's…that's fair. But, our common enemy is Seth, Bison, Shadaloo, and S.I.N."

"Maybe you, Wrench, and whoever that blue woman is are trying to do that, but Juri is a psychopath. You can't trust her." Chun-Li stated with a hint of emotion in her voice.

"You're not still mad about what happened at that carnival, are you?" Juri asked.

"You hospitalized me!" Chun-Li yelled.

"Nearly killed me." Guile stated plainly.

"And threw me and my sister out a flying plane in the middle of a blizzard." Cammy said. Peter's eyes widened when he heard Juri's crimes from the three of them. He turned his attention to his recently added partner.

"Juri…"

"They wouldn't be here if it wasn't true Petey." Juri said without looking at him. "Besides, it's not like anyone is actually dead, now are they?"

"Well this just gets better and better." Wrench said with a hint of excitement. Mystique looked annoyed beyond belief at all the time they were wasting.

"Look, if you three can't trust us because we have Juri with us, then you come with us. Rather that then we waste time." Mystique said. Before anyone could object, Guile spoke up.

"Deal."

"WHAT?!" Chun-Li, Cammy, and Juri yelled.

"Thanks benevolent leader." Peter quipped at Mystique. She sighed deeply as she leaned back into her seat.

"I'm surrounded by morons." Mystique added.

Chun-Li shook her head as she looked on to Peter's group. "No way we're working with Juri."

20 Minutes Later.

"Just so you know Peter, I'm not happy about this." Chun-Li said. All of them were collectively in Wrench's van, with Wrench driving and Juri in the passenger seat (as so she couldn't antagonize the people that hated her even more) along with Mystique taking a cat form to sleep on the dashboard, while Peter, Chun-Li, Cammy, and Guile were all sitting in the back."

"Well you all agreed to help me take down S.I.N, and Juri's the only one who has enough up to date knowledge to help destroy them..."

"But you can't seriously trust her." Cammy added. Juri smiled as she turned her head to the back.

"Trust me? I've been honest with him-"

"Honest?" Peter asked.

"Alright, semi honest. But tell me Ms. Blondie, have you even told anyone about your past? And why those dolls were so important to you?"

"Shut your damn mouth Juri!" Cammy yelled. Peter gave Juri a hard stare, and she took that as her cue to stop causing trouble, then turned his attention back to the British fighter.

"What exactly does she mean by that Cammy?"

Cammy looked down at the floor of the van and then looked up at the people she was working with. "About a year before I joined MI6, I was part of Shadaloo." The atmosphere in the van got heavy immediately. Before anyone could break the tension, Juri got in one last jab by letting "wah-wah." leave her mouth.

"I was kidnapped and brainwashed by them and made into one of those dolls Juri had mentioned. I was effectively a slave to Seth for years until the conditioning wore off long enough for me to barely escape with my life." That part resonated with Peter as he drew comparisons to both Cammy and Widowmaker. Both had been used as tools for someone else's benefit and both were able to get out and save themselves, but the key difference was Widowmaker seemed at odds with her own conscious while Cammy knew that she didn't have a choice and didn't dwell on it.

"Cammy-" Chun-Li said.

"I'm not looking for pity Chun-Li. I'm only mentioning it because someone doesn't know when to keep her mouth shut." Juri simply chuckled at the comment while Wrench decided to bring his own questions in after a few silent minutes.

"So with you being ex-Shadaloo and all that fun stuff, what exactly are the dolls?"

"In simple terms, assassins. In longer terms, Bison's personal army."

"So that's why he took Rogue..." Peter said. Everyone in the back turned their attention toward what he said and wondered when that had happened.

"Bison kidnapped Rogue?" Chun-Li sounded hurt. Granted she didn't know Rogue to the same length Wrench, Peter, and Mystique knew her, but if the impact that Bison had on both herself, Cammy, and Juri was anything to go by, she needed to be rescued fast.

Peter simply nodded at Chun-Li's question. A few more silent minutes in the van went by until they came to a complete stop. They all exited out the van to see the airport in front of them.

"When we land, we're gonna need some gear for the frigid weather." Wrench stated. "No good use of being a rescue party if we catch hypothermia midway into getting in the base."

"Agreed." Guile said. "We'll meet you all when we land."

"Wait, you're not coming with us?" Peter asked.

"We have ways to get on any plane we deem necessary to help with our investigations." Guile then turned his attention to Juri. "Plus we would prefer not to share any more time with her." Juri returned the sentiment by flipping Guile off.

"Trust me soldier boy, the feelings mutual."

Guile sneered as he turned back to Peter. "I sure hope you know what you're doing. For you and your friends' sakes."

"Yeah. I hope so too."

Ok so hear me out, yes I'm not dead and I know my uploading is trash. But a few announcements. Yes this chapter actually was being started around Christmas and a lot of stuff has happened both in my personal life and stuff outside my control (ie school, work etc.), and as I've stated before, with me being in college, I'm still trying to get used to whatever free time I have to write these stories. That being said, I'm in the process of trying to get onto Archives of our own. I won't leave this platform, I just wanna branch out to more people. Once I get accepted there, I'll let you all know what the plans are moving forward. That being stated, have a good day and until next time.
