Many thanks to those who read and reviewed this fic. I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here Midoriya is currently engaging in another BOSS BATTLE…but right now some implications about what would happen as Mantis reveals more of his TRUMP CARD…

Ch. 14: Sōsa part 3
As Midoriya braces himself, the unseen intruder slowly appeared, revealed that he is using a stealth camouflage device that Emmerich is also using, where the intruder, who appeared to be Russian due to his accent, hovered while grandstanding in a triumphant gesture, feeling that he cannot be defeated by anyone.
The intruder voiced his displeasure seeing that Midoriya somewhat managed to OUTSMART Melissa and commented that Midoriya wasted another opportunity to SCORE ANOTHER HOME RUN with the girl, though Midoriya rebuked him for using his Quirk to compel him and Melissa to SCREW EACH OTHER without their consent.
"You're the maniac."
"Hmm…?"
"You have a Quirk…compelling me and Melissa to DO THAT against our will…"
"Oh, but you enjoyed it. You get to feel a woman's WOMANHOOD with your…"
"We rather DO THAT if we both consented to it and not by force! And you forced me to violate her!"
"But you DID THAT anyway…and she accepted…hence there is no VIOLATION from either one of you…"
"Tch…!"
"And now…"
The intruder, identified as Psycho Mantis, hovered above and said that using his Quirk to induce Midoriya and Melissa to SUBCONSCIOUSLY HAVE SEX WITH EACH OTHER was only a prelude, as he made it clear that the next moment won't be MERCIFUL, for he has orders to eliminate those who stand in their way and will not let anyone foil their plans of CONQUEST.
Midoriya gritted his teeth as he realized that Mantis' Quirk appeared to be similar to Hitoshi Shinso's Brainwashing Quirk, and decided to come up with a course of action, but Mantis puts Midoriya on edge as he said that he will give the younger boy a demonstration on the power of Psychokinesis.
"Now then…"
"Huh?"
"I will give you a demonstration…of my Quirk...which you have no chance of overcoming it."
"What are you…?"
"Lo and behold…"
"What…?"
"The power…of PSYCHOKINESIS…"
"!"
Proving his point, Mantis uses his Quirk to demonstrate his Psychokinesis, where several books at a bookshelf began to move and levitate, hovering above him and Midoriya for about three minutes before falling to the floor, surprising Midoriya, and then a vase levitated in the air before forcefully crashing against a wall.
Midoriya was surprised to see this as Mantis gloated that no one has ever challenged him and that those who do ended up dead as they never had the chance to lay a finger at him and there he asked the younger boy if he is impressed at the demonstration, which made Midoriya hesitant to respond.
"So then…"
"…"
"What do you think of my demonstration…the power of Psychokinesis..."
"…"
"Lo and behold…"
"…"
"What you witnessed is the power…of PSYCHOKINESIS…and no one has ever defeated me in combat…"
"!"
Midoriya realized that Mantis is someone not to be taken lightly after seeing how Mantis demonstrated his Quirk, and there Midoriya began to think of ways to counter that Quirk as he believed that there is a way to defeat Mantis, as he believed that Mantis' Quirk may be on the same level as Shinso's, but his musing was interrupted when Mantis spoke to Midoriya as he said that he can tell that Midoriya thinks that Shinso's Quirk is the same as Mantis' Quirk, surprising Midoriya, as he couldn't believe that Mantis figured out what Midoriya was thinking.
"So then…you think that my Quirk is similar…if not identical…to the Brainwashing Quirk of Hitoshi Shinso, eh…?"
"Wha…?"
"I can tell…I know what is running inside your mind…"
"How…?"
"Besides Psychokinesis…I have telepathy…"
"…"
"Yes…aside from moving objects with my mind…I can read your mind like an open book."
"!"
Midoriya gritted his teeth as he couldn't believe that Mantis' Quirk also includes telepathic ability despite him saying that his main Quirk being Psychokinesis, and there Mantis decided to showcase his superiority by telling Midoriya that he will DELVE INTO Midoriya's mind to prove that Mantis' Psychokinesis is for real.
There Mantis placed his pointing and middle fingers on his forehead and closed his eyes, and one by one he highlighted what he SEES inside Midoriya's mind, and Midoriya stared wide-eyed at what he is hearing as Mantis mentioned what HE READ INSIDE the younger boy's mind in such detailed descriptions.
- Midoriya is currently 16 years old
- He used to study at Aldera Middle School
- He had a rough childhood
- He is born Quirkless
- Being the only child of Hisashi and Inko Midoriya
- Midoriya idolizes All Might
- He studies at UA Academy
- He seems to have some difficulty in controlling his Quirk
Suddenly, Mantis snapped out of his actions as something hit him, as he recalled what he read in Midoriya's mind which shows that Midoriya was Quirkless, yet Mantis recall how Midoriya was able to knock Melissa out, and saw a portion of green electric current-like aura emanating from his right fist. For Mantis this did not make sense; if Midoriya is Quirkless since birth, how was he able to get to this point and able to knock Melissa out with such aura.
Driven by curiosity and wanting to know why, Mantis attempted to delve further into Midoriya's mind to see what he could uncover, as he is intrigued on why Midoriya gained a Quirk when he is Quirkless to begin with, but to his surprise, something is blocking him from delving into Midoriya's mind, sending Mantis into a irritating fit, which Midoriya himself is baffled as to what is going on at the moment.
"What...?"
"…"
"What is this?"
"…"
"Why can't I read your mind?"
"…"
"Why?"
"…"

At the secret military facility within Japan, Nezu was watching the secret live feed where he saw Mantis getting into an irritating fit, where he and some military officials can hear what Mantis is ranting at, and there the military officials sees that there is an apparent weakness on Mantis' Quirk and believe that Midoriya might have an edge in defeating Mantis.
However some of the officials also heard through the secret live feed saying that Midoriya was Quirkless since birth but for some reason he gained a Quirk, which the officials are starting to wonder what happened, and how Midoriya was able to have a Quirk all of the sudden, and feels that something SHADY is going on, and felt that maybe when the threat is solved they should have Midoriya summoned or questioning.
"When this crisis is averted and solved…we should bring that boy in for questioning. We got to know if he use ARTIFICIAL means of having a Quirk. Do you guys agree?"
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!"
However, Nezu interjected and said that Midoriya is a SPECIAL CASE, stating that Midoriya is a LATE BLOOMER, in which his Quirk manifested late in his age and said that this kind of cases are rare, which the military commander agreed, saying that he heard these kind of rare cases, and tells the military officials not to cast doubts on Midoriya as he is putting his safety on the line to stop a potential disaster.
"Gentlemen…please don't put petty suspicions towards that boy. He is risking his life to avert a possible crisis. Have faith in him."
"But…"
"That boy…if he is Quirkless..."
"How was he able to…"
"His Quirk manifested late when he hit puberty. It's a rare case and Midoriya gained it before turning 15 years old. It's normal, so you shouldn't doubt that child."
"But…but…"
"Are you sure…?"
"Can that boy be trusted…?"
The military officials were skeptical about this yet the military commander assured to them that there is nothing to be worried about as he said that it is natural for Midoriya to get a Quirk in such late fashion, and this somewhat calmed the military officials as they respected the military commander and believe that he is telling the truth about Midoriya being a late bloomer.
"So, please do not cast unnecessary doubts towards Mr. Midoriya. If he intend to join the terrorists he would have done it earlier. So please have faith and trust what the boy do as he is facing the terrorists."
"Okay…"
"Okay…"
"Okay…"
"Okay…"
"Okay…"
"Okay…"
"Okay…"
However, as everyone glanced at the monitor, one of the military officials sweat-dropped as he pointed out that Midoriya is STILL NAKED, and wondered if Midoriya is planning to face Mantis in that state, which the other military officials aired the same sentiment, questioning if Midoriya knows what he is doing, if he plans on fighting Mantis while NAKED.
"Is that boy know what state he is in…?"
"Does he intend to fight the enemy NAKED…?"
"Is that boy serious…?"
"What is he thinking…?"
"Lets wait and see. Maybe we will know what will happen next…"
"Okay…"
"Okay…"
"Okay…"
The military commander noticed it as well, and whispered to Nezu, saying that their alibis somewhat averted a possible unnecessary scenario, which Nezu nodded. It is revealed that the military commander, identified only as Commander Oka, is acquaintances with All Might and is one of few people who is knowledgeable about One For All, and is aware that All Might transferred One For All to Midoriya, hence Oka assisted Nezu in covering the fact that the originally Quirkless Midoriya received One For All from All Might by agreeing with Nezu's claim that Midoriya having a Quirk is because of the fact that Midoriya is a LATE BLOOMER.
"Looks like they took the alibi well…"
"Yes. Thanks for the help, Commander Oka."
"Its okay. We can't let anyone else find out about this."
"Indeed."
"It'll be quite disastrous if the secret of One For All gets leaked, and Midoriya would be targeted unnecessarily."
"Yes, and so is All Might."
"We got to keep monitoring, and see if we could come up with an alibi if the military officials starts to doubt Midoriya."
"Right."
As everyone is glancing at the monitor, Oka asked Nezu if Midoriya has a plan as it is clear that Mantis still has the advantage because of his Psychokinesis which he can make objects move, and that he could also control other people besides Midoriya and Melissa, yet Nezu said that he is confident that Midoriya will overcome this current obstacle.
"Its not that I doubt the boy, but…"
"Hmm…?"
"Does Midoriya have a plan against the likes of Psycho Mantis?"
"I believe so."
"But…Mantis has mental powers…I wonder if that boy…"
"Midoriya will overcome this. That I am sure of it."
"Really, Nezu?"
"Really."
Their musings were interrupted as the military officials are pointing out that Mantis is up to something and that Midoriya is just standing there, not doing anything and did not even bother attempting to put his clothes on, and believed that Midoriya is done for as they think that all is lost as Midoriya isn't putting any effort to try stopping Mantis from carrying out his goal.
"Its over!"
"That boy is a failure!"
"He isn't moving! Not even an inch!"
"That boy didn't bother trying to put his clothes on! He is not responding!"
"Damn…"
"Damn it!"
"Trusting that kid is a mistake!"
"Indeed!"

Hope you liked this chapter, as Midoriya finds himself in a bind, as he has to contend with Psycho Mantis, whose Quirk gives him an edge over the boy…
However, for some reason Mantis was unable to delve further into Midoriya's mind…as of something is blocking it…this might give Midoriya some time to come up with a counterattack to defeat Mantis…
