Many thanks to those who read and reviewed this fic. I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here, and here, Midoriya is on a DATE with a rental girlfriend, and in the process of seeing Kendo's true self.

Ch. 4: Yoki shinai jōkyō

At a vacant area within the underwater zoo, a pissed off Kendo dragged Midoriya there, where she resumes in shaking him by his collar and demanded an explanation on why he gave her a low score after she said that she did a SPLENDID JOB in posing as his girlfriend for the day, and she kept on ranting about why she deserved a higher score, reasoning that she never received a low score before.

However, Midoriya couldn't respond properly due to being manhandled in such a manner as he is being shook rather violently and she appeared to be oblivious in her actions.

"Hey!"

"Whoa!"

"Explain yourself! What the FUCK are you thinking?"

"WHOA-WHOA-WHOA-WHOA-WHOA!"

"Why did you gave me a score of ONE? I did a splendid job! Why?"

"WHOA-WHOA-WHOA-WHOA-WHOA!"

"Can't you give me a higher score? Did I do something wrong? Answer me, you asshole!"

"WHOA-WHOA-WHOA-WHOA-WHOA!"

Passing patrons sweat-dropped at seeing the scene and whispered amongst themselves, believing that they accidentally stumbled onto a lovers' quarrel, unaware of the true fact, and felt that Midoriya must be very UNLUCKY in love.

"Oh dear…"

"Look at that…"

"The poor boy…"

"Though she is such a beauty…her temper is a stark contrast…"

"That kid sure is LUCKY...or UNLUCKY…"

"That's what happens if he goes for a girl with BIG BOOBS..."

"Should we help…?"

"No. Just leave them…"

However, some did not like the scene as they felt that the two teens might cause a scene and give off some negative impression, and tried to talk them off about the quarrel stuff.

"Hey!"

"Stop that, you two!"

"You're disturbing the other customers!"

"Don't you dare come closer!"

"They're not listening…"

"Someone help!"

"Call the usher!"

"Dial 1-1-9!"

Seeing that her ranting has attracted attention, and fearing that the usher would be called again, she headlock Midoriya and left for another area, whilst other passing patrons wondered what kind of youths today are, as they noted that teenage girls today are getting more and more aggressive unlike the old times.

"Oh dear…"

"Look at that…"

"The poor boy being manhandled by a girl…"

"Though she is such a beauty…her temper is a stark contrast…girls today are getting more aggressive these days…"

"Times have indeed change…

"That's what happens if he goes for a girl with BIG BOOBS...boys have become too lecherous today…"

"Should we help…?"

"Leave them…it doesn't concern us."

Arriving at another vacant area within the underwater zoo, a still-pissed off Kendo dragged Midoriya there, she resumes in shaking him by his collar and demanded an explanation on why he gave her a low score after she said that she did a SPLENDID JOB in posing as his girlfriend for the day, and she kept on ranting about why she deserved a higher score, reasoning that she never received a low score before.

Midoriya just went silent before saying that this doesn't feel like a relationship, which she confirms it as she reminded him that she is only a RENTAL GIRLFRIEND, and even reminded him of the terms of agreement that was shown on the app and he accepted it nonetheless, and told him to stop acting like a kid and just continue with the program as they still have time before their session expired.

Midoriya sweat-dropped at this as she kept on ranting, which he didn't feel like rebutting.

"Look here!"

"…"

"I'm doing my best here, so you should do your best too!"

"…"

"Remember…I'm posing as your girlfriend, so pretend that you're my boyfriend until our rental time is up!"

"…"

"You hear me?"

"…"

By then the usher came, having been tipped off by other patrons about what they saw a while ago, and he asked the two teens if there is a problem, which made Midoriya and Kendo shiver in nervousness, and they assured to him that everything is okay.

"No, we're fine."

"Y-yeah…"

"We just had a misunderstanding…right, dear…?"

"Y-yeah…"

"Don't worry. We won't disturb anyone…right, dear…?"

"Y-yeah…"

"So everything is okay…right, dear…?"

"Y-yeah…"

The usher doesn't appeared to be convinced and asked them again if they are having problems, and again the two teens reiterated that everything is okay and promised that there won't be any disturbance within the aquarium zoo.

"Do you need any…"

"No, we're fine…right, darling…?"

"Y-yeah…?

"Are you sure…?"

"Perfectly sure. Right, darling…?

"Y-yeah…"

"And you two aren't…?

"We just had a misunderstanding…right, dear…?"

"Y-yeah…"

After that, the usher left, and there Kendo grabbed Midoriya by his collar and whispered to him in a rather threatening tone, urging him to change the rating as she is not willing to accept a very low score and wanted to have a good impression as a girlfriend for rent.

"Look here!"

"…"

"Change the rating! I want a higher score! I'm doing my best here, so you should do your best too! Let the netizens know that I'm the best rental girlfriend in Tokyo!"

"…"

"Remember…I'm posing as your girlfriend, so pretend that you're my boyfriend until our rental time is up! That way my job will be easier!"

"…"

"You hear me?"

"…"

Midoriya sighed and wanting to get over with, he took out his smartphone so he could give her what she wants: a high score. He felt that if he does so she would stop nagging him and this would end the present problem.

However, his smartphone rang and he answered it, where his mom called him and informed him of the situation at hand, which made him stare wide-eyed in shock, and he asked her again if she is sure. He has the look of horror and worry, and this made him look very concerned as he asked his mom for confirmation

"Are you sure, mom?"

"Yes!"

"What really happened?"

"Don't ask!"

"…"

"Your dad is already freaking out already! So get your butt here already!"

"Surely dad is…"

"No he is not!"

His mom reiterated that it is true and urged him to get there as soon as possible before turning off the connection. Kendo blinked her eyes as she saw the look on Midoriya's face, where he told her that his grandmother was rushed to the hospital and he had to be there no matter what, and tells her that he has to go now.

This didn't sit well with her as they still have more time left before their rental date expired, and she tells him what about the rest of their rental time, but he was too preoccupied that he couldn't give her enough attention.

"Hey!"

"…"

"You can't leave me like this!"

"…"

"What about our date?"

"…"

"We still have time!"

"…"

As Midoriya left, Kendo followed him, ranting that he can't leave her like this and urged him to complete the rental time, but he was too preoccupied that he failed to hear what she is saying.

Hey! Come back here!"

"…"

"You can't leave me like this! We're not yet through!"

"…"

"What about our date? We haven't completed the rental time!"

"…"

"Don't ignore me you freckle-faced asshole!"

"…"

It was an awkward scene as Midoriya walked off in a hurry whilst Kendo went after him ranting non-stop like a nagging wife, and the other patrons were dismayed seeing them arguing again and wondered if the two teens are having a problem, noting her good looks whilst seeing that Midoriya is ordinary-looking, and felt that their incompatibility is causing the two teens to argue, unaware of the true situation Midoriya and Kendo are in.

"Oh here they go again…"

"Geez…they're at it again…"

"The poor being manhandled by a girl…now he's being nagged non-stop…"

"Though she is such a beauty…her temper is a stark contrast…girls today are getting more aggressive these days…what has happened to Japan...?"

"Times have indeed change…

"That's what happens if he goes for a girl with BIG BOOBS...boys have become too lecherous today…they're so choosy…"

"Should we help…?"

"Leave them…it doesn't concern us."

However, others were dismayed to see the same teens from earlier causing another scene, and they told the two to take their lover's quarrel elsewhere as their antics are disturbing the peace of the underwater zoo and threatened to have the usher boot them out, though neither Kendo or Midoriya heard them as they are too busy with other things.

The patrons are pissed as the two teens' antics are getting louder and louder.

"Hey!"

"Shut your mouths, will you?"

"You're disturbing everyone here!"

"Take your LQ elsewhere!"

"Get the fuck out of here!"

"You ought to be banned here!"

"Scram!"

"Or we'll call the usher!"

Hope you liked this chapter, as there's not much action here except that the date proceeded without a hitch…only for Midoriya to unintentionally trigger a reaction from Kendo which seemingly SHOWED HER TRUE COLORS…

And that nearly costs them to get thrown out of the zoo…

Then something happens as his grandmother is said to be hospitalized and may not make it, promoting him to leave yet Kendo isn't letting him leave her like this…
