The ruckus that the inebriated soldiers created as they bumped their frothing mugs, belched and laughed was starting to get on Akali's nerves. The disguised Ionian assassin grit her teeth as another burly Noxian slapped her behind while she collected their empty plates. Glancing across the crowded inn at Irelia, Akali noticed the frown on the rebellious girl's face. She looked ready to literally maim the drunken soldiers.
"Keep it together," The seventeen-year-old ninja whispered at her slightly younger conspirator, "We have to wait until all of the soldiers fall asleep before we can take out their commander." She reasoned with her comrade.
The two resistance members had come up with a daring plan to assassinate the leaders of the invading Noxian army by disguising themselves as waitresses working at the local inn. Most townsfolk had already fled from the town of Xuan Zhao long before the Noxian company had even approached it, making it easier for the two resistance fighters to assume the identities of poor farmgirls that couldn't abandon the inn left to them by their late mother.
Fury Company had moved into the inn the following day, claiming the best rooms and pillaging their supplies, but otherwise refraining from attacking them. Perhaps their white-haired commander had forbidden them from doing so, but honestly, with the way the soldiers acted like uncivilized brutes it was more likely that the Noxians fancied having servants to bring them more alcohol instead of getting up their fat asses and seeking it on their own.
Speaking of their commander, this Riven person hadn't downed a single sip of alcohol since entering the inn and had retired in her room after leaving a short lean man behind in charge of keeping her men in order. Akali was planning of paying the tall swordswoman a visit later that night when her warriors' senses were too muddled by the spirits in their bloodstream to notice the ninja's disappearance. The assassin just prayed that her hotheaded companion wouldn't stab somebody before she had the chance to strike at the head of the snake. Although, given the fact that the younger Beta wasn't used to being close to so many Alphas at once the chances of her snapping at them were quite high.
Betas were competitive and incomplete creatures, after all. They were curious and adventurous by nature, yet faulty in a sense since they could evolve into the dominants and powerful Alphas or devolve into the more submissive and caring Omegas in relation to their experiences before they reached adulthood. Given the choice between relying on the goodwill of others and luck to find a proper mate or being able to forge your own path in the world and choose your own lover, it was no wonder that most Betas acted spoiled trying to stimulate their Alpha selves.
"Bring us another round of your best drinks!" A muscular soldier covered in scars grabbed Akali's hand to draw her attention. The ninja suppressed the growl that threatened to build up in her chest. She lowered her eyes as she bowed her head at him, playing the part of the scared Omega to the letter before hastily heading for the cellar.
The ninja heard the chorus of laugher erupting behind her at her exaggerated hurried retreat. Alone in the privacy of the musty cellar, Akali scowled as she spat into two empty mugs she had brought down with her. Generously filling them with red wine shortly afterwards. Schooling her expression into that of a nervous and shy Omega she ascended the wooden staircase returning back to the noisy room and her celebrating enemies.
Too noisy in fact, the drunken soldiers could raise the dead with their chuckles.
Akali chanced a quick glance towards the laughing men to discern what all this laughter was about and froze upon spotting Irelia pinned on the table by three intoxicated Noxians. The brutes were securing the resistant member's limbs on the aged wood while a forth one was pressing her cheeks together, forcing the neck of a brown bottle into her mouth. The young Beta was thrashing about for dear life as she chocked on the cheap whisky that the soldiers poured down her throat.
Tears were rolling down Irelia's face, her eyes were wide in terror and her face was alarmingly red. The dancer's obi had come undone at some point during her struggling and her kimono had opened revealing her breasts to the perverse joy of a laughing man that reached out to touch them.
The sight made Akali feel sick to her stomach. She felt sick as a Beta and aspiring Alpha. This blatant display of a pack of Alphas bullying the weak in front of her made her nauseous, and the worst part was that there was nothing that she could do about it. She couldn't help Irelia, she realized. Even with her considerable skills as an agile assassin she couldn't take out an entire company of Noxians alone, despite some of them being drunk. There were more soldiers sleeping in the inn that would no doubt rush in to help their peers if a fight broke out. The ninja's panicked brown eyes searched for the soldier that the Noxian commander had left in charge. She found him sleeping on a table with his head resting on his arms, dead to the world for all it mattered.
Dropping her mugs of wine, the assassin headed for the table. Irelia was still choking and coughing as the whisky burned her throat raw. The man that had been molesting her was fumbling with his belt, lust and hate shining in his eyes. The ninja swallowed thickly, she subtly made to touch her hairpins.
Akali never saw her until it was too late. One moment five drunkards were on top of Irelia tormenting her, and the next moment the soldiers were moaning on the ground holding their various wounds. She heard a rustle next to her as the Noxian commander's coat settled down. The ninja stood perfectly still, her hand slowly dropping back at her side. Her body stiff like a board.
She hadn't even sensed the woman.
Irelia thankfully, decided to keep her mouth shut for once. The shaken Beta hoping off the table and wrapping her kimono around herself to hide her breasts while coughing and spiting alcohol, still very much in tears.
"Abot, what is the meaning of this? I thought that I made myself clear when I ordered you to avoid stirring up trouble with the locals."
A shiver run down the spine of the Ionian assassin at the power and authority that leaked from the voice of the pale swordswoman. It felt like she could order her to slit her own throat and Akali would have no choice but to obey her.
Abot, the man that had been in the process of sexually assaulting Irelia, got up with a pained grunt as he held his broken nose.
"One of them is a fucking Beta!" He spat angrily, shoving an accusing finger towards Irelia.
Akali tensed, that revelation could possibly change everything.
"I was just trying to scare her, make sure she won't become an Alpha and oppose us during the invasion! Fake Alphas have no place in this world! I was doing my damn duty as a Noxian." He declared, glaring at Irelia who unwittingly took a step back when the drunkard's attention was directed to her. Some of the drunken men nodded in agreement.
"They are just cubs." The white-haired commander growled as a wave of bloodthirst thick as molasses spread across the room.
Akali found herself leaning heavily on the table to remain standing. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Irelia tremble violently, her knees about to buckle underneath her. The female Alpha's display of dominance was making their inner Omega instincts go haywire. The ninja pressed her face against the table panting gently as she closed her eyes. A second later the terrifying pressure disappeared as fast as it had made itself known.
"Noxus is not so weak as to rely on traumatizing children and stop the progress of enemy Betas to win her fights," Riven continued in a more subdued tone, "If the idea of an eighteen year old Alpha scares you so much then you are not a true Noxian." She concluded.
Some of the soldiers laughed at the statement, trying to ease the tension. Abot seemed ready to challenge the commander's claim, then though better of it and stormed out of the inn, taking the half-empty bottle of muddy whisky with him. The rest of the soldiers decided to retire for the night instead of testing the patience of their commander more than they had already done so with their antics.
Akali heard the men complaining amongst themselves and laugh as they headed to their respective rooms upstairs. The ninja kept her eyes closed, focusing on breathing properly. Her body was jerking violently every few seconds and her skin felt unnaturally hot.
One single growl from the enemy commander had almost put her in heat. The albino's dominance had paralyzed an entire room of Alphas. How naive had they been, thinking that they could assassinate someone like that? The ninja would have died the moment she had set foot in the commander's bedroom.
There was a soft thud next to the bar. Akali noted through half-lidded eyes that Irelia was missing from where she had last seen her.
A pair of strong arms suddenly wrapped around the ninja. A soft purr escaped her throat when her body was pressed against that of the foreign swordswoman. Without a word, Riven placed Akali on the floor with her back resting against the inn's wooden bar next to Irelia. The ninja felt pale fingers untangling her long black tresses, the concealed puncturing needles that the Beta had disguised as a hair accessory being removed from her person.
"You shouldn't wear such things," The enemy commander stated matte- of-factly, squatting on the floor in front of them while putting a long steel needle within each feverish rebel's grasp, "Otherwise someone might mistake you for an assassin and execute you." She hummed conversationally.
Both Irelia and Akali simply stared at her, panting. Their minds clouded, their bodies begging for the Alpha's touch. Riven simply looked at them sternly, however.
"I didn't stop my men from turning you into weak and submissive Omegas so I could do it myself in private." She chastised them, lifting their arms by holding their clenched fists with the needles in them and bringing the pointy tips close to her legs. In a single swift motion Riven stabbed herself with the needles.
The eyes of the two resistance members widened despite their current addled condition. Out of their own volition or not the two Betas had just stabbed a terrifyingly strong enemy Alpha. The invisible scales that had been pushing them towards becoming Omegas after their wills had been broken by the sound of the older woman's growl and Irelia's recent humiliation at the hands of the soldiers were overturned.
The scent of blood filled the air, the Ionian rebels' submissive selves retreating as the commander's warm blood stained their fingers.
"I want you two gone by the morning," Riven stared at them unflinchingly while removing the needles from her bleeding flesh, "And if the Ionian resistance wants me dead, tell them to at least send someone after me that's worth killing next time. They should keep you cute little Betas away from us bad Noxians while I am still playing nice." She whispered softly.
The Noxian commander walked away after that, leaving the two Ionian women panting on the floor, their faces flushed, their shoulders touching. Irelia huffed, leaning towards Akali to brush her lips against the assassin's needing to address the heat building inside her. The ninja kissing her back with a small whimper, drawing closer to Irelia with a shuddering breath.
The white-haired Alpha may have left the room, but the effects of her dominating presence were still present it seemed, despite her quick departure. Her strength and unfaltering conviction planting a tiny seedling of respect in the hearts of her enemies.
Four years later
"There you go," Akali smiled reassuringly after placing a strip of adhesive bandage on Amumu's forehead, "Try to avoid running on staircases from now on." The medical ninja instructed her young patient while storing the rest of her supplies in a drawer.
"I will, I promise!" Amumu readily agreed with the nurse, already exiting the room to find someone to play with. Soraka shook her head at the antics of the League's residents. One would expect for the heroes of Valoran to get caught in fewer accidents every day, but that sadly wasn't the case.
"You keep surprising me with the amount of care you show to our neighbors, Akali. Are you sure that you are not an Omega?" Soraka hummed as if in deep thought after having observed the ninja treat Amumu with such heartening kindness.
Most Alphas preferred acting tough, only showing hints of affection to their close friends, family members and chosen mates, Akali on the other hand liked working at the Institute's infirmary alongside the League's supports. The Ionian assassin hid a rebellious attitude under her inapproachable exterior, yet possessed a soft spot for those that were suffering. The Starchild was proud to have the privilege to call the young nurse her friend.
"I am quite sure that I am an Alpha, Soraka," Responded the former Kinkou ninja with an almost indiscernible twitch of the lips, "Otherwise I wouldn't be able to stop Irelia from going on a rampage near Noxians." She sighed at the end of her sentence, all humor suddenly lost from her voice.
"A lot of Ionians lost loved ones during the invasion of Noxus. That doesn't give Irelia the right to lash out at every Noxian and Zaunite on sight." Soraka pointed out like every other time the two had broached the subject.
"It isn't about losing people, but more about how they died," Akali spoke softly while storing a bottle of disinfectant to busy her hands, "Irelia, she knew... we knew somebody that fought under the banner of Noxus yet had earned our respect," The ninja confessed after a short pause, her dark brown eyes becoming sad and distant.
"Although that person upheld their Noxian ideals and served their nation with pride, they were discarded and used as sacrificial pawns by their own country. They died in the chemical bombardment that ended the war when Zaun opened fire on both armies under Swain's orders. It is this betrayal that Irelia… that both of us can't forgive."
"Was that person your mate?" Soraka couldn't help but ask the ninja, gently placing a comforting hand on Akali's shoulder. The celestial healer could feel the heartache stirring inside the heart of her friend at the mention of her loss. Akali was still mourning along with Irelia, Soraka realized. The assassin was simply more adept at concealing her grief than the nurse's more hotheaded counterpart.
"She could have been if the circumstances were different," The ninja whispered so softly that Soraka had almost missed it. Akali's voice then rose in volume, the undertones of anger and bitterness coloring her words.
"She spared our lives when others would have not. She didn't let her countrymen taint our status. She didn't allow them to ruin our potential. Yet she died in agony choking to death in a mass grave as chemicals incinerated her from the inside out. Forsaken and betrayed by those she defended with all her might. She deserved more. I wish she had been born an Ionian, she certainly possessed the heart of one." Akali exhaled sadly.
As if by divine intervention to clear the gloomy atmosphere that had settled in the sterilized room, the hex-tech radio on the table buzzed into life. Janna's unamused voice filled the infirmary, breaking the awkward silence that reigned in the room after the two women's discussion.
"Hey, Soraka! just our luck! The new Beta got into a fistfight with Darius. I am sending them to you to check if they broke any bones."
The Starchild huffed in annoyance as Akali rolled her eyes in exasperation. The ninja started preparing the examination table, pulling out medical supplies from cabinets while Soraka grabbed the small device to reply to Janna.
"I was wondering when some unruly teenager would decide to attack an Alpha to prove how strong they are. I am just happy that Darius didn't kill them." She grumbled into the radio. The doorknob started turning just as Janna's voice graced the infirmary, sounding somewhat confused. Akali sent a stern glare at the roughed up individual that entered the infirmary.
"Yeah me too. But that's the strange part, the Beta is way past her adolescence and was actually holding her own against Darius before the Summoners broke up the fight."
Soraka blinked at the radio. "That is-"
"Impossible." Akali finished her sentence in an unsteady and breathless voice. Lifting her eyes to regard her coworker the Starchild scrunched her eyebrows in confusion at seeing the ninja staring at the newcomer at a loss for words. The assassin's eyes were the size of saucers. Soraka glanced at the bruised white-haired woman in puzzlement, dull maroon-colored orbs sliding off the stunned examiner to meet the Starchild's gaze.
"Am I at the wrong place or something?" Riven inquired, half-turning to leave the infirmary. Only for the strange nurse that had been glaring at her for some time now, to grab her shoulders in a vice-like grip and lead her to the examination table.
The End
More humorous Yurious ending for fellow degenerates with bad humor:
To say that the Exile was feeling awkward would be an understatement. The moment she had entered the room the black-haired nurse had stripped her down to her undergarments and then proceeded to examine every inch of her body as if she was an archeologist and Riven was a priceless ancient artifact.
The horned woman next to her would shoot sideway glances at her coworker while asking Riven questions about her medical history. Meanwhile, the nurse she now knew as Akali would run her fingers across the chemical burns on her back, poke at her malnourished ribs with a pen and stare at the dull red of her orbs as if searching for something.
More than once Riven had caught the young Alpha sniffing her hair as she leaned down to try and discern her peculiar scent. The nurse would also touch her a lot more than it was necessary, her gentle touch lingering to the point that it felt intrusive.
Riven wasn't sure whether the young Alpha was trying to mark her with her scent involuntary, if she was actually intending to do so, or if the examiner was just puzzled by the fact that she was in the presence of a thirty-year-old Beta.
"So, I think that we are done here," The purple Omega said after scanning her notes for a second time. An expression of reluctance appearing on the horned woman's face, "Are you completely certain that the chemical bombardment you were caught in did absolutely nothing to you other than seemingly revoke your Alpha status?"
Riven simply shrugged in response her visage a mask of neutrality, something that infuriated the former Kinkou assassin. "If it did, I wouldn't know anything about it." The Exile answered her, her voice startlingly emotionless and even.
Akali frowned as she cleaned a small cut near the swordswoman's brow. "Would you tell us if there was something wrong with you that didn't inhibit your ability to fight?" She prodded insistently, earning another detached glance from her white-haired patient.
"No" Was the honest reply that had Akali scowling at her, growling at the pale swordswoman in anger. This stupid Beta was withholding sensitive information from the Institute, but more importantly she was withholding information from her! How was the ninja supposed to protect her when Riven made it so difficult for her?! Akali's subdued growl suddenly turned more feral and guttural. Like a beast snarling at its prey.
If the older Beta was concerned about the young Alpha growling at her mere inches away from her face she didn't show it. Soraka on the other hand unintentionally shivered, before slapping a delicate hand on the nurse's back to get her attention.
"Akali snap out of it! You are acting like a damn idiot, growling at people like an ill-mannered Alpha that's starting bar fights to impress a cute Omega." She said at her friend, the kind celestial's voice rising ever so slightly.
"Are you perhaps trying to intimidate me?" The white-haired swordswoman arched an amused eyebrow while staring the Ionian Alpha in the eye, "Just because I am a Beta now it doesn't mean that I will be the bitch of the first Alpha that threatens me. You might be physically stronger than me, but that's not all that there is in a fight." She smirked confidently at the brown-eyed nurse, reaching out with a bandaged hand to mockingly pat the ninja's head as she growled.
"There, there, you can drop the tough act now." She teased Akali.
Soraka jumped in surprise, desperately wrapping her arms around the ninja, trying to restrain Akali's movements in order to prevent a possible bloodbath in her own infirmary. While Akali was more tolerant than the rest of her kind, she was still an Alpha and took pride in it, and now the new champion was belittling her and mocking her dominance, treating her like a harmless puppy.
The assassin's arm lunged forward. Faster than lighting, her fingernails dug into Riven's skin securing her hold on the Noxian's throat. The momentum carried the albino's head back until it slammed against the wall behind her with a satisfying smack of bones on stone.
"Akali!" Soraka screamed in terror, futilely trying to drag the young Alpha away from the smirking Beta. The ninja's breathing was ragged, her muscles tense as the ravenette attempted to rein in the beast within before she truly harmed the woman in front of her. Speaking of the former Noxian commander, she was calmly staring at the panting nurse with that infuriating smirk of hers. Akali was torn between wanting to wipe the smirk off the albino's face with a punch and fucking Riven into submission like her inner Alpha demanded her to.
The Alpha that she had been mourning for so long was right in front of her, yet she was a Beta now. Their roles had been swapped and the former commander could be her mate. She had to be her mate. Noxians and Ionians alike would hate Riven for her participation in the war. They would target her now that she was at her weakest. Akali would return the favor and keep her safe as Riven had done for her four years ago. She was the only one that respected the former commander and didn't mean her harm. She would cherish the broken warrior more than any other Alpha. She would treat her with the tenderness and affection of a genuine Omega.
Riven just had to submit to her.
Something twinkled behind the Exile's amused orbs, her own hand slowly wrapping around the collar of the nurse's outfit. "I don't know about Ionian Alphas, but in Noxus when an Alpha wants something, they reach out and take it." She stated with conviction, pulling Akali closer with surprising strength for a Beta to smack her lips into the ninja's.
Soraka froze, staring in disbelief as the two women shared a passionate kiss inside her infirmary.
The door slammed open a short moment later. Irelia stood at the opening, wheezing. Her face was red from running across the institute. The Blade Dancer's eyes scanned the room in wild desperation, before her eyes zeroed in on the two women making out on the infirmary table. Anger flashed on Irelia's narrowed chips of jade. She closed the distance between the door and the examination table in two quick strides before peeling Akali off the white-haired Beta, shoving her away. The scowl on the Blade Dancer's face darkened considerably upon locking eyes with the bruised Noxian female.
"YOU!" Irelia screeched at the former commander tackling her back on the table while she was getting up, "I thought that you were dead you dumb Noxian mutt!" She yelled, kissing Riven with a muffled growl.
Left speechless Soraka watched Akali get up from the floor and join the two women on the examination table. The former Kinkou member was fighting for a spot on the Beta's lips with her own, her appendages grasping for places better left unmentioned.
Soraka just stood there for a moment, unwittingly subjected to the sights and sounds of that bizarre make out session. The lewd images washing over her like waves crushing against a solitary rock, until the reality of the situation dawned on the Starchild. Three people were getting handsy on her infirmary, one of them dressed in only her undergarments while the two Ionian women were taking off their clothes.
Soraka's face contorted in anger. The Starchild opened a small closet near the back of the room that was filled with cleaning supplies and old bottles of medicine. She grabbed a straw broom, her eyes flashing with righteous fury. Her footsteps were steady as she approached the moaning trio.
Irelia yelped in surprise when a broom suddenly hit her in the head.
"Shoo! Shoo you stupid horndogs! If you want to fuck like bitches in heat get the Void out of my working place! Stars! This is like Ahri all over again! Shoo! Shoo!" Shouted Soraka while repeatedly scoring admonishing hits with her broom in the heads and backs of the two whining Alphas.
The End-er
