Two Weeks had passed since the great stampede. Blue had managed to stay a good distance away from it all. She could hear the screams, and all the roars mixed in with them. What she could dig up from the sounds she heard was that the world had gotten its first dose of Dinosaur destruction. Of course, it wasn't the first time they were pit against Dinosaurs. And sadly, it wouldn't be the last.

The damage she found only expanded on the story.

So many bodies. Humans and Dinosaurs alike. Human cubs were unfortunate to be caught underneath the feet of the panicked animals. Of course, the animals who started this mayhem were not entirely in the wrong here. What Zeus told her, that day they met, was that they were forced into a life they did not want. One moment, they were normal hunters, the next they were mindless monsters. Monsters that were capable of destroying thousands of lives. It almost reminded her of herself. When the white beast came into her life, she and her sisters were forced into doing its horrid bidding against the humans she knew.

Blue was not proud of what she was forced into. The Raptor hissed quietly as she strode through the woods. She had decided to keep her distance from anyone in Biosyn, remembering what Zeus said about them. Ah, Zeus. It almost assured her to know that there was another Raptor alive in the world. One from Sorna, no less. She had heard the humans talking about the second Island on Nublar from time to time. She could understand what they were saying, but reacting to them was the hard part, of course.

She had not spoken to another dinosaur for a long time. Not since the horrific events of Lockwood manor. When Owen released her into the wild, she thought that she would be better off than staying on a dying island. But now that she was in the wild, she was alone. For years, she roamed the lonely woods of California. She hunted both herbivorous dinosaurs and normal woods prey alike, like Elk or Deer. Regardless, life in the open-world labeled her a stranger. A world where she didn't belong. Where none of them belonged.

But when she met with Zeus, her eyes were opened after a long time. Things were in play here. Things beyond the comprehension of any man or beast. And what was worse, it was by the hand of a man. Many men. And now, they controlled everything in human society. Humans were two things to her. People like Owen, and people who were overwhelmed by greed. She could remember the sight she had briefly during the stampede of Biosyn fending off their pawns while making it look like they were truly the heroes in this scenario. In reality, there were no such heroics. It was all part of their plan. All part of their greedy, world-stealing plan.

The Raptor had left the forest behind days ago in search of where the horrible men went. She sniffed the ground in search of their footprints. Eventually, she caught something. The scent of their jackets. She recognized it because she had watched as the man known as Dodgson saved a family from the Dilophosaurus. Dodgson. That's the name she heard people call him.

She hardly knew this man, and she already hated him. He knew that the Dinosaurs in his control weren't full monsters, and yet he still treated them as such. That was the problem with most people she knew. Many of them were out of control regarding the loves of these animals. What could be done at this point? That is probably what everyone suffering human was wondering as well.

But as she pondered this question, she felt her footstep off of something. She looked down to see that she almost stepped into a hole. A giant hole at that. But as she spent more time looking at it, she soon found out what it was she stepped into.

A footprint.

It didn't take a genius to know that it belonged to the biggest member of Biosyn's pack. The Spinosaurus is known as Ahab. She had watched as the giant semi-aquatic reptile laid waste to cars and houses alike during his crazed rampage. He watched as he tore his fangs and claws into Rexy, her old friend. She had put up a good fight against him, but she was no match and was thrown off the cliff and into the nearby river.

Luckily for her, Blue knew that Rexy had something in common with her opponent. Tyrannosaurs were good swimmers, despite not spending much time in the water. She had seen Rexy swim from time to time on Nublar after the park fell. She knew that Rexy was alright now.

But she had no time to think further on her T-Rex ally. Another sound had reached her ears. The snap of a twig caused her to jolt in alarm and looked around at the edge of the woods, hoping to find the animal stalking her. She could smell something. Something that smelt like it had burn makes on it. She looked around to try and see what it was. Another Snap! was all it took for her to jump again.

She snarled in defense as the cracking of sticks became louder. Suddenly, she saw a shape. It was larger than her, and the color red. But strangely, I wasn't heading towards her. Instead, the animal was stomping in the opposite direction. She followed silently as she tried to decipher what had ignored her. It was a known fact that Raptors were silent stalkers. They were known as the 'quiet killers' to some. As Blue followed the animal, her questions had been answered.

Toro.

A Carnotaurus that she met on Nublar; Toro was known as one of the most unlucky animals at the time Jurassic World went down. He had been scarred, burnt, and driven off a cliff. But somehow, he had survived. One horn was missing from his head, a reminder not to battle a deadly poison-quilled hybrid dinosaur.

She watched as Toro bent his head down and chomped into something. Blue knew the smell like that of a fresh kill. She watched as he lifted his head and gulped down a piece of ragged meat. She somehow felt sorry for the Carno. Seeing everything he had gone through, it reminded her of herself. It amazed that he was still standing after all this time.

The Burnt dinosaur turned his head as another sound caught his ears. Soon, the shape of another Carno came from the underbrush. It snorted as Toro dipped his head as if greeting an ally of his. Blue watched as the other Carno sank its teeth into the carcass of whatever Toro had killed. Blue knew the relationship between these two now.

The other Carno was a female.

But it was not one that Blue had seen on Nublar. The large head of the devil dino was Grey, just like the rest of her body. She shook her head as her amber eyes blinked as her mate began to eat his fill of whatever it was that they were eating. The Raptor hissed quietly before continuing on her way.

There was something inside Blue that felt off when watching rituals such as affection between two creatures. Seeing Toro and his lady friend seemed rather strange to her for some reason. She had always been a loner, even when her sisters were still alive. She stayed isolated from her fellow Raptors whenever she sought it suitable, which, in better words, was mostly every day. She would spend her time roaming the small jungle inside her enclosure. Even though she knew it wasn't the real deal, she would always love to wander aimlessly through the dense forest, keeping her mind occupied from the many eyes viewing her from above.

She knew that she was not in the real jungle. She may have enjoyed the presence of Owen for most of the time, but there was still something missing from her life. She desired to be out in the world beyond the wall of her enclosure. Deep down, she knew her sisters did as well. They were always more eager to eat out of the hands of humans who kept them there for study. They were more at peace with their surroundings than Blue ever was. Never once did they know anything besides what the humans wanted her to know. Living where they wanted them to live. Blue, however, was too curious. Being the Beta of the pack, she still held authority among them, and had every right to lead them on an escape from their confined space.

However, fearing of whatever was out there, she had ultimately decided that it was for the best not to attempt such a thing. She knew that Raptors were good diggers, just as much as they were at hunting. But there was a good reason as to why she refused to attempt such a feat. There was next to nothing that they knew about what was beyond those walls, out there in the world. How exactly Velociraptors fit into the natural order outside was beyond them at the time. They feared what could happen to them should any stronger creature take advantage of them.

That was why she hesitated when following Zeus.

And yet, when she was around Zeus, something felt strange to her. Sure, it may have been the fact that he was a Raptor like her. But once she began to think about it, it felt more than that. He was bigger than her, by only a few inches. She stalked through the woods silently, a fitting setting for her time of thought. She remembered that set of quills atop his head. He seemed… different to her. Wherever he was, she had hoped he knew that they would be seeing each other again very soon.

As long as she evaded the men she smelt coming.

Having the ability to smell something from a distance away, she had smelt the humans coming from less than a mile away. She smelt the familiar scent of those uniforms. No doubt they were from Biosyn. She knelt down into the bushes as she heard the engines coming. She then saw something coming ahead of her. They almost looked like two jeeps. As they came into view, that's exactly what they were. She watched as a small squad of men, at least nine of them, showed themselves. They wore those wretched green suits, confirming that they were, indeed, Biosyn.

One of the men wore a badge on the front of his uniform. Blue could recognize his face as the one who fired that Bazooka onto Owen's cabin that night. The man reached into his pocket and pulled out a walkie talkie. "This is Baselton. Me and Beta team are setting up a perimeter. Over."

"Roger, Baselton." That voice. It was as if Blue had heard the voice of a ghost. The voice sounded wavering, yet stoic at the same time. It was unmistakably the voice of the wretched Dr. Wu. He had come to visit her enclosure several times with the red-headed woman.

Baselton looked rather disturbed with hearing the voice of this man, as if he were expecting someone else. "Forgive me, Mr. Baselton. Lewis is preoccupied at the moment, representing us in court."

"No prob." Baselton replied. "You said there's something out here. Something that you needed."

Wu's eerie voice sounded off for some reason. It may have been the fact that he was talking from a device. But something just seemed… off about it. As if he wasn't himself. As if he wasn't that sophisticated, refined man she had seen in the island. "Our new friend, Mrs. Lockwood, is unlike anything I have seen before. Benjamin Lockwood was a revolutionary scientist. But his biggest flaw was he was desperate. His dear daughter was made again through unnatural, unholy means. But our actions make it even."

"What're you getting at, Wu?" Baselton asked.

"I am simply, Mr. Baselton, that is we are to keep our steady course of control, we must raise our stakes." Wu's voice replied. "We have seen how Hurisym has had its effect on our select creatures. That is good, but what happens if the disease is to spread? There is a Velociraptor out there in the wild. She was last sighted in the forests outside of California. As long as the forest stands, she will never be found. Remove the forest, and we have her."

"Another Raptor?" Baselton questioned. "You need another one of those things? What for?"

"Spreading the cancer is not enough to keep their fear alive, George." Wu answered. "You of all people know how to take charge. You and your squadron have been in battle more times than anyone in InGen. More so than even the great Owen Grady. Find me the Raptor, and when we create the ultimate Hurisym out of its DNA and that of our clone, then you will find yourself in the top ranks of my army."

Baselton stood there in silence for a while, pondering this instruction. Then, he slowly nodded before giving his reply. "For your best interests."

"For your best interests."

Blue took notice of the way Wu's voice replied. It sounded more smooth, more deeper than before. It sounded as if it had been through many battles. Something she had noted from Owen Grady's voice. Now, seeing the face of Dr. Wu back on the island, and the way he was presented as a whole, she never could have guessed someone like him to sound so darker. Something was very off about him. Something not good. But what else would she expect from a man from the labs?

She kept her eyes on Baselton as he commanded his men. She heard him mentioning setting up a perimeter. She silently followed in the underbrush, making sure not to step on anything that would make a noise. Raptors, you should know, are silent hunters of the wild. You would never notice a Velociraptor if it were stalking you, no matter how much scent they had on themselves. Blue, herself, couldn't hear herself stalk the men as she crept through the bushes. She kept herself low and out of sight as her amber eyes narrowed in on them.

She had spent so time away from most other Dinosaurs, that she forgot the scent of them. She could not smell anything else besides the men. Her keen scent had picked them up before she could even see them.

And that's saying nothing about how well she could hear. She heard the voices of Baselton and his men as they tracked through the woods. She heard one of the mercenaries speak up.

"Yo George, what're your orders, sir?"

"Dr. Wu just updated our schedule." Baselton answered. "This forest is hiding spot number one for anyone in InGen or Mantah Corp who would've interfered for Phase 3. Claire Dearing has recently been identified as one of the InGen operatives in Mantah Corp's corner. Until we know for sure if she and any others are poking around, this forest is coming down. And that's not even the biggest thing."

"And what is the biggest thing?" Asked another one of his men.

"Find the Blue Raptor."

Now being a Velociraptor was a bit of a tall order. There were many requirements with being this powerful and vicious creature. Swift? Check. Agile? Check. A tracker of unimaginable stamina? Check. Scared out of her wits? New requirement for her, but yes. She silently swished her tail as the mercenaries accepted their new orders. She had been hunted before by people like these, many times in fact. But these people had one thing that all the others before never did: their own Dinosaurs. And now, they were planning on tearing this entire forest down just to find her. In all honesty, she never saw anyone quite as determined as Biosyn.

She continued to listen as Baselton addressed another member of his squad. "Kayson, do you have a visual on Z667S?"

"Affirmative." Kayson replied. "According to the tracker, Facet Z667S is located south of the riverbed. Been getting a lot of exercise in since Phase 3."

Now this was something that sparked Blue's interest beyond her fear. Facet Z667S was the very animal she was thinking about earlier. Of all animals she had met out here in the wilderness, Zeus was the only one who had shared her interests, despite only meeting him once. She had spoken to several predatory dinosaurs over the three years after being released. The Troodons were an annoying bunch, always squawking and chittering about food and bragging about their bites. The Compies were too small to be considered a pack for a Velociraptor. That only left Toro, his lady friend, and the Majungasaur brothers. They only stayed near the herd valley, where all the herbivores gathered to be safe.

But now, she had someone she could relate with fully. A Raptor belonged with more Raptors in captivity or otherwise. Of course, Zeus must've been driven by instincts! As a Raptor, she knew that smaller herbivores such as Gallimimus and Ornithomimus were easy pickings out of everything in the herd valley. And he must've known that they usually came to the river to drink. If Biosyn indeed let him out to be a Raptor once in a while, she had to take that opportunity to talk to him. She had to find a was to get to the bottom of what was happening and help put a stop to it. It was time for a little chat.

Raptor to Raptor.

Well, look at that. It looks like Blue is on the case! Our favorite Raptor is apparently smarter than she appears, and clearly has opinions on some of the smaller therapods she has to share territory with. And yes, the valley the kids are staying in is called Herd Valley. That's where almost every species of Herbivorous Dinosaur comes to feel safe. They know safety is in numbers. But now, Wu's after her as well. What exactly could he do with her DNA and the Hurisym serum? Whatever it is, it cannot be good. And why exactly did he sound the way that he did over the walkie-talkie? Could it be that he's coming down with something?

Relax, all will be explained eventually. Anyways, have a good day. Stay tuned, and Spare no Expense.
