N/A: First, Sorry for the long time haven't update this story, there was a lot of things happening to me in real life, like finding a job, doing freelance and typing other stories which isn't child friendly and many more.
And lastly, I will be going to the Embassy soon and get my interview for my green card. Hope I get pass on the interview because another year stuck at home.
At the Gate and base built around it, the base is called 'Waypoint'. It has everything that the military needed, airfield, barracks, and many more but they are divided into sections of the base. They were able to send air force such as the smaller version of dreadnaught than the regular or larger one since the gate can't open long or it will overload.
They expanded to their bases such as outposts, lookout, and extended bases through the railroad; the extended base only has an airfield but a smaller version than the main base. The outpost and lookout are in all directions and the extended bases are to the south and east. The south extended base has the port and airfield bases for military strategist points for naval forces and air forces, and the east is a naval base military strategist point for naval forces and shipyard. Most of the Knightmare, vehicles, troops and supplies are transported through the railroad.
The air force fleet is being built in the main base of the factory division. They must get a civilian contract from the homeworld and pass them through the gate to be able to build their air forces and naval forces from button-up.
Surrounding their new base 'waypoint' has low activities of Grimm because of Operation: Desert Storm. Operation: Desert Storm is simply to take care of the surrounding Grimm near Waypoint base and, seek and destroy other Grimm that are wandering about or hiding in caves before they become a threat in the future.
With the success of Operation: Desert Storm, they commence their next plan is to build other bases such as outposts and air bases. They have already built a couple of camps, outposts, and FOBs (Forward base) through all direction that has a strategic location that advises to their advantage. Way of transportation to their other bases are planes and VTOL for FOB and dirt roads for camps, outposts, and FOB.
But on the dirt road travel is quite troublesome for delivering goods or supplies such as food, water, ammo, and fuel. Keeping the Grimm off the main road required seldom patrol both on the ground and air. Just to make sure the supplies arrive safely without any problem because most supplies are delivered on-road since it is fuel-efficient rather than air but air when came for an emergency occasion when it is needed.
Inside in the 'Waypoint' HQ, where all taken operation planning for future operation. The HQ has everything built-in one, it is designed and built into a large building that is barracks, cafeteria, main communication, multiple quarters for high-ranking officers as well royalty quarters whenever the royalty plan to visit some guest's quarters as well are quite similar to private quarters of high ranking officers but simple design as well barracks design if possible.
In the command room of the 'Waypoint' HQ, there are officers as well knights who will begin their meeting for future operations such as discussing the topic Grimm, far west over the hill of civilization of Remnant and lastly Knight certain knights want to contact them and assists and other reasons like stupid and waste of time and resource.
"Majesty orders are to remain hidden from Remnants, which make us a secret that no Remnant know about us or the gate and cannot help until we become public."
"What about the-"
"The other civilization? That where like wanders."
Knight of the two just nodded while pouting on the holographic table. The Knight of Five or known as Anya just looks at the Knight of Two with an annoying look on her face. She knows that Two is fierce in combat, on one-on-one and multiple but politics. And was forced to attend Military school must improve in military strategy, and receive political tutoring funds from the Britannia, which was a terrible time for her.
The officer continues what he was saying "We will 'eventually' open them with open arms because they think the Remnant Kingdom is an unfair system on them, that include human and faunus." Giving a clear on the 'eventually' sending the signal to the Knight of two.
"I'm the Knight of Two! I-"
"Majesty orders outrank the Knights orders. The Knights to the militaries follow Majesty's order. The military can give resources to the knights but when certain orders conflict with the Majesty's order. The Majesty's order came first."
The Knight of two looks toward the Nonette for support and returns with silence. She is silently crying facing down.
"Nonette! We're supposed to be friends!"
"We are!" with a cheerful smile.
"Then why?! You're not supporting me?! You suppose to support me!" shouting and crying on the table. Nonette just laughs it off and head pat the knight of two heads saying "There… There…"
One of the officers said, "Give it time… then we can continue where we last stop." The officer who experiences her antic before she becomes the knight of two. The officer explains to the rest who aren't used to her antics behind closed doors.
They just agree, a quick break… they continue where they last stop and continue the discussion about the town to the west and the rest of the kingdoms, and Two still laying on the table depressed but still on attention to the meeting.
"Back to the important topic. Do you know anything about the 'White Fangs'?"
Two lookups and said, "Yes, they were protesters after the 'war' for demanding fair rights and so on…"
"Thanks to our communications hackers that able to access CCT network, we were able to access to information able on Remnant. White Fangs has a changed leadership with your disappearance and become some sort of terrorist group to the public."
"What?! When?!" Two get up from laying down, her hands on the table and looking up.
"Seems like they have pushed to the limit, the new leader Sienna Khan using fear and violence to overcome Human prejudice towards the Faunus. She believes it necessary violence to make mankind regards them with fear to demand respect."
"That reminds a bit to remind of our old past system." One of the random officers is from the Britannia military. Some Britannia and the Black Knight attend agree.
"Continuing where I last stop… We have noticed White Fang's activities on Vale aren't right."
Two gain interest in Vale. "Continue…" she just suddenly becomes serious from crying and whipping.
"White Fang's actives in Vale have been attacking Dust shops only stealing a large number of dust as well of Schnee large containers ship filled with dust but fail. The dust price skyrocketed in Vale."
"With a large amount of dust is enough for an army."
"The person leading the dust robbery is Roman Torchwick a human. Somehow hard to believe since White Fangs has such hatred for humans."
"Which means someone is pulling the strings."
"What is their true goal?"
The discussion continues about the White Fang's actions eventually they reach a certain topic that doesn't make sense.
Nonette sponge every information to her and said "Is there anything else that they discover? Emails? Message? Movement?" She's asking for more information and knows that their hackers are the only source of information that they can get, they haven't sent drones beyond the seas, and they are preparing to go over the sea sending a small detachment of troops to scout, and many more.
They have 1-3 large ships, and the rest are on their way.
They continue talking about potential action against the White Fang they have seen as a potential threat that needs to contain or remove.
The talks ended and they give the Knight of Two a large envelope containing papers inside that said the hackers that she might love what contain it.
They set up their CCT tower thanks to the Knight of Two scrolls, the engineers were able to understand and don't much require reversing engineer since the EU device bit similar. They discover a lot of seminaries of technology like setting up their private CCT tower purpose to spy on another kingdom.
They can access their internet version but thanks to their skillful team able to breach for the sole purpose of information.
Back in the meeting room, discussion about the supplies they receive of shipments of drones, weapons, water, and food.
Two talks about the town again and try to convince everyone to contact and hard denied again. Next, they talk about the scheduled construction of a port that is near their base of operation for easy movement. Finally, the ship and drones can potentially spread out of Remnant they can have eyes throughout Remnant.
Now… finally back to the topic of White Fang information same as usual.
The next topic is sending teams to Kingdoms to get eyes on the ground and report back instant. Many agreements of the officers must delay because they don't have vehicles to reach the kingdoms.
"I have additional information about the west."
"The town on the west?" The Knight of two asked.
"Yes, the drones able to get much information about it… it is filled with faunus."
"Filled… with Faunus. Then it must be Menagerie."
"Isn't that after 'The Great War' here in Remnant. That Kingdom gives Faunus them an island so that they live on their own."
"YUP!"
'Then we are in the south-east of the world. The map from your scroll provides… we have vessels that can reach Vale, but we need built necessary stop before reaching Vale…"
They continue talking about the base of operation for a stopover for their vessels both air and sea, an operation and plans to do on Menagerie, Mistral and so does the rest of the Kingdom. They eventually made agreements and end the meeting. The Knights of course walked together having a chat and the rest officers went out as well.
The Knight of two is alone in her office and has finally done her paperwork and finally got a lot of free time! She learns the hard way that when not finishing her paperwork she mostly leaves it to 'desk officer staff' what she called them but there are certain documents certain eyes only like her.
She currently sitting at her desk and her computer is on and a certain photo is opened. Thanks to the hacking team, she can get finally fully updated to date on information about how much she lost and as well might as well trends. The photo is of four female teen teams and seeing them she smiles and somewhat worries a bit.
There are as well wants to communicate with her family but strict orders from the top and IT team somehow disable the communication preventing contact outside of Britannia forces which she doesn't know and doesn't want to disable order like last time. Thinking back on her first disorder made her shiver and promise herself to never disobey order again but came necessary and knows that the emperor might slide it some convincing his sister. The sister part is 50-50 depending on what kind she disobeys orders, there are times she doesn't help her because certain importance and less importance she might help but the problem is that how the emperor and his eldest sister given to explain and the problem of disobeying an order and resulting punishments. Or the emperor ordered his sister known as Cornelia one of the highest military ranking and royalty just strict and none escaping punishments, she's sure that Cornelia informs her brother of her disobeying order.
Her office door reveals no other than one of her fast friends no one than Nonette the knight of nine but wearing her Knightmare uniform of course with changes since aura introduction. Knight of two is happy and said "Nonette! Are we going out?" with a cheerful voice because she wants to get out of this goddamn paperwork.
Nonette smiled then giggle and finally said "No. I'm going along with a couple from fresh graduate pilots and special academy. And Anya been ordered to head back to Earth. Ciao!" before she leaves the knight of two shouted, "WAIT!" Nonette has already left leaving the doorway empty.
The knight of two stand up and quickly went to the door using her speed semblance was unnecessary but to her it is important.
"What do you mean? Both of you leaving?!"
"Well… me and some of senior thinking a good idea to train combat some alpha Grimm that are hiding and as well destroying those spawn liquid and Anya was ordered because she will be training one of the Emperor daughters since Queen Kallen pregnant and can't train her daughter."
"Wait! Does mean… I'm alone does make me in charge…" The two releases that she is in charge which commonly great to most people but for her were difficult and somehow hated. The damn bureaucracy in the base and… paperwork. "Is… this my punishment? Nonette please tell me!"
Nonette can't help laughing proving the two-point it is her punishment bit of disobeying her. Seems like the Emperor and his family and military command know how much she hated overseeing the base just doing boring stuff. Sure… she has been a leader but as a small team leading against Grimm and small experience leading a large force of course she groans at the casualty under her command. Nonette simply "Yes. And it was the Emperor's idea that I train some newbies and might take out big Grimm just to test a couple of new toys. And order to head back to earth for damn politics." Ending with a teasing smile.
The two just pouted and whine while Nonette laugh at the two poutings and whining about her situation, and she did promise to never disobey order again even how many she said, 'she promise herself not to disobey orders.' And still, one way or another she still disobeys orders.
And the two punishments mostly given the boring task since she hated those and pulling her out of duty is rare because she's mostly enjoyed her free time but serious matter, she will be in the Empire palace wishing to get out.
Ending Nonette by saying "Don't break important things while I'm gone!"
Things went smoothly at waypoint, but a couple of minor problems were quickly fixed with or without the knight of two knowing. The road became more and more secure as time goes by and calculation by the team says the safety is least than 80% since thanks to Nonette training has found some spawn pool and adjustments on the security.
The Knight of two just hates her position by damn leading the entire 'Waypoint' and so does the rest. Sure… staff are working on logistics that require or do not with her permission. That she just hates doing damn paperwork and doing meetings with the staffs since one she's native in the Remnant and high ranking and lastly, she was just huntress, not some officer but she did receive education for those.
And lastly, they finally approve the operation to spread out their operation going beyond the sea and build a forward base of operation. It took a month or two just to get all the necessary logistics and security.
Knight of Two asks "I presume this is it? Are we going to expand further on this damn desert and build a small base isolated from the civilization?" To the officer in front of her.
She is at her office sitting at her desk while same time going through her paperwork. The officer is a senior officer.
"Yes, we remain hidden from the rest of Remnants, and the sole purpose of this operation is to gather information around Remnants from the limited knowledge you have. And, as well set up a base of operations for our operative both inside Kingdom walls and outside."
"Is everything going according to plan?"
"Yes, everything is going according to plan. Equipment and supplies are arriving on time. And we can begin our operation in time."
"Make sure. Everything goes according to plan. Dismiss."
The officer saluted and left her office. Once the officer leaves, the two sigh and lay back in her comfortable office chair.
"Being a commander is tougher than being a leader of four. I miss you guys." By pulling out her old model scroll and went to pictures to see her old teammates during her school time and her family.
"I promise I will back to you girls. Don't worry…."
N/A: And someone saying that Knight of Two who she really is… maybe… yes… no… it just a surprise and of course leaving clues along the way.
And, I hope I can update this again soon but due to hectic schedule I don't know when I'm going to update this again.
