Author's Note: I would like to apologize for the ghastly delay, my life has been busy and I've been lazy with the writing. Since this chapter's been written, I decided to get off my behind and update the story.

Anyways, to all those who favorited, followed, and reviewed; thank you for your patience and support. So, enough of the rambling, let's get on with it.

Scooby Doo and Ghostbusters belong to their respective owners, I own absolutely nothing.

Chapter 6

Inside an art museum, Dana is at work on a painting. Her boss, Janosz Poha, is giving out orders.

"All right, yes. Now, I want you to put the Vigo in the arch." Janosz instructs, an employee gesturing to the portrait of Vigo the Carpathian, a powerful magician and European tyrant from the 16th century.

"Under the arch there." He adds. "Everything you're doing is bad. I want you to know this. You be careful there, all right?" Janosz walks by, talking to his other employees.

"No one listens to me." He remarks.

Finally, he approaches Dana.

"Well, Dana, how are you doing?" Janosz inquires. "How's this Bonnington coming?"

"It's coming along fine." Dana responds. "This mixture you gave me is working really well."

"Yes?" Janosz asks. "Well, I make pretty good cocktails, don't I?"

"Yes, you're doing really…. quite good work there." Janosz interjects; walking around the brunette woman.

"Thank you," said Dana.

"It won't be long before you can assist me in…more important restoration." The man fingers Dana's curly hair, causing Dana to frown and be leery of him.

"Just a-A white thing." Turns out, Janosz pulled out a white object from Dana's hair.

"Well, thank you, Dr. Poha." Dana said, setting the paintbrush down.

"Janosz," The doctor corrected.

"Janosz," Dana repeated. "I've enjoyed working here…but now that baby's older, I'm gonna try to go back to orchestra." She cleans the brush.

"I'm sorry to hear that you will not-Be not here." Janosz said. "Well, could I say good bye?"

"You know, maybe bring you to a brunch today?" He suggests.

"Well, I can't today, I have an appointment." Dana declined. "In fact, I'd better go." She gets up.

"I don't understand this." Janosz commented. "Every day, I say, 'Can you do something?' You say, 'No, I can't do something'."

"Do I have bad breath or something?" He asks, as Dana grabs her purse.

"Of course not," She replied, grinning and walks away.

"All right. Well, I'll give you a rain check." Janosz said, watching Dana go. He walks away.

"I think that she likes me." Janosz said to himself, bemused. "No, I do. I truly do."

Unbeknownst to him, something causes Vigo in the painting to come to life. The figure watches the boss man go.

A/N: Well, I hoped you enjoyed the chapter! The good news is I've got the next chapter (where the Scooby gang and Ray meet up with Egon & Peter at Ray's occult bookstore) written, I should type it up. Bear with me and until then, more to come! This story won't be discontinued.
