Two days after the mining town incident, Lincoln and the Tennysons were in a small town called "Eagle Point." Stopping for a day before heading out on the road to one of the most famous cities in the United States, New York City. Lincoln and Gwen were walking down the sidewalks in front of all kinds of stories.

"So what do you want to do?" said Lincoln.

"I have no idea," said Gwen.

Then Lincoln saw the store near the corner that caught his attention, and he stopped right in front of it.

"Hey, Gwen, check this out," said Lincoln.

Gwen looked at what Lincoln was seeing, and it was a comic book store called "Bomber Comixs."

"Do you want to come in with me?" said Lincoln.

"I don't know Lincoln? I'm not a big fan of comic books," said Gwen.

"I'm sure there's something you would like in the store."

Gwen gave some thought and told Lincoln, "Alright, I go in."

Lincoln and Gwen walked into the comic book store to see a couple of aisles of comics, bookshelves of graphic novels and mangas, and at the end of the store, DND figures and guidebooks. Lincoln and Gwen go to the comic aisle and look around it.

"So Lincoln, why are you so interested in comics anyway?" said Gwen.

"I just really like comics no matter what genres they are in: superhero, horror, science fiction, and mystery." Lincoln then found a Hellboy comic, "plus, a friend and I used to make our own superhero comic."

"Oh, the irony," Gwen says, finding a Ms. Marvel comic. She asked Lincoln, "Are we going to buy a comic?"

"Well, I barely have any money to even buy."

"So no."

"No, but." Lincoln then found a silver surfer comic, and an idea popped into his head, "I've got another thing we could do."

Gwen and Lincoln headed back to the Rust Bucket with no other people around. Lincoln takes out a Tetrax hoverboard. He and Gwen try to ride it. Lincoln, go on it first.

"Man I wish Tetrax could have given me some instruction," said Lincoln.

"It seems you've got it down so far," said Gwen.

"Then let's try to get this moving."

Lincoln pushed the hoverboard and moved it a couple of feet. Lincoln goes back and forward on the board before stepping off of it.

"Okay, your turn," said Lincoln.

"Since you've got a handle on it, I guess it isn't going to be that hard," said Gwen.

Gwen got onto the hoverboard, and she managed to keep her balance as well as Lincoln. But she tried to push hard on the board, but it flew out from under her.

"Gwen," Lincoln shouted.

Lincoln caught her before she could hit the ground, and the two ended up in an awkward position. Gwen lies on top of Lincoln. They were face-to-face, and their noses were touching. The two stood up, blushing as red as a tomato.

"Um, so I don't think you should push that hard on the board," said Lincoln.

"Yeah, got it," said Gwen.

Gwen and Lincoln didn't look at each other for a moment before Max came out of the RV.

"Kids, lunch is ready," said Max.

"Great, I'm starving, Grandpa," said Gwen.

"Yeah, me too," said Lincoln, grabbing the hoverboard.

The two headed into the Rustbucket as quickly as possible, leaving Max confused.

"Huh, I guess they are really hungry," Max thought.
