On a warm Sunday, Lincoln, as Four-arms, was doing his usual hero business as he attempted to save a cat from getting stuck on a tree.
"C'mon, kitty, time to get down," said Four-arms.
Then suddenly, all of a sudden, everything went black. Four-arms was standing in an empty space, wondering what was going on until a pair of red eyes formed, approved of him, and looked angry at him.
"What's going on here?" said Four-arms
"I'm coming for you sooner than you think, wielder of the Omnitrix, and I, Vilgax, will crush this pitiful planet."
Then a large green fist came down from the air and tried to crush Four-arms, but luckily he stopped the fist. But then the Omnitrix started to flash red; before long, Lincoln returned to his old self and got crushed.
However, this was a dream, as Lincoln woke up sweating and wiping it from his forehead.
Man, what a nightmare. Lincoln thought
The next day, on the drive to the famous Mount Rushmore National Memorial, Gwen noticed Lincoln was more tired than before, and she asked him.
"Didn't get enough sleep last night, Lincoln?"
"Yeah, I got this weird nightmare last night," said Lincoln.
"What was it about?"
"You remember when I was upgrade and I took control of Rojo."
"Yeah."
"And I mention someone named Vilgax."
"Huh with the glowing eyes."
"Yep, and he came back in my dream, then said he was coming to me sooner than I thought."
"Scary."
"You said it."
Overhearing the conversation and not liking what he heard, Max drove fast toward Keystone like it was the end of the world.
Lincoln asked, "Um, Mr. Tennyson, why are you driving fast?"
"Oh, I just want to beat the traffic so we get a better view of the memorial," said Max.
"Alright then."
We just have to make it there before Vilgax steps foot on this planet. Max thought
Max was about half an hour from Mount Rushmore for about 40 minutes without stopping, even driving past a stop sign. Then trouble arrived when there was a forest fire near the road, and the firefighter tried to contain it.
"Well, it looks like it's hero time," said Lincoln.
"I don't think so, Lincoln. I think firefighters can handle it," said Max.
Gwen saw three trees fall to the ground. "Yeah, I don't think they got it."
"Yeah, I need to help them."
"Kids, these are firefighters. This is what they do. All we have to do is get to Mount Rushmore."
Then they heard a small explosion in the distance in the forest fire as Lincoln didn't want to upset Mr. Tennyson, but he had to do what felt like the right thing for him to do.
"Sorry, Mr. Tennyson, but get too mad at me," said Lincoln.
"Lincoln, no," said Max.
But it was too late, as Lincoln had left the Rustbucket. He goes to his Omnitrix, and he transforms into Heatblast.
Oh, c'mon, why Heatblast? He thought
Heatblast uses his fire to blast off into the forest and immediately finds the sources of these fires. It was the same droids that were a pain for Lincoln and the Tennysons for most of the summer.
I'm getting sick of these guys, Heatblast thought.
Heatblast unleashes massive heat on the droids, melting them away. Then a bigger droid came out of the forest and fired at Heatblast with laser weapons. Heatblast dodged the laser blast, shot a fireball into the droid's eye, and then destroyed the legs by blasting them off with a quick fireball, putting it out of action. Heatblast thought it was over for a moment until a single laser hit him in the chest, sending him near a building next to the forest and crashing into it.
Alright, that hurt, Heatblast thought.
Then, suddenly, a red mist appeared out of thin air, and then a red sphere spaceship uncloaked itself and landed on the ground a few feet away from Heatblast. Coming out of the ship was the alien that was Lincoln's nightmare, the same one with the angry glowing red eyes, but now in front of him. It was Vilgax, who was now fully healed, wearing advanced armor and ready to take whatever he wanted. What he wanted was the Omnitrix.
"I, Vilgax, have arrived on this planet and seek the Omnitrix. Now hand it over," Vilgax explained.
"I'm guessing you wouldn't like it if I gave the answer of no," said Heatblast.
"No one says no to me and lives."
"Then how about this?"
Heatblast went for a blast trying to barbecue Vilgax, but it did nothing to him when the flame and smoke cleared.
"Unimpressive," said Vilgax.
Then he grabbed Heatblast, swung him around, threw him halfway into the city, and made a crater in the middle of the streets. In one jump, Vilgax jumped near Heatblast, who slowly got back on his feet.
I had to think of something quick, Heatblast thought
Then he quickly thought of an idea and used his firepower to melt the street into tar, causing Vilgax to be stuck for a moment. Before he could think of anything, the Rustbucket drove up to him.
"Lincoln, get in!" Max shouted. Heatblast got into the Rustbucket, and Max looked at Vilgax getting out of the street. He thought, crap, he's here, and I've got to get the kids' to the memorial now.
The Rustbucket sped off, and Vilgax was out of his trap and looked at the speeding RV.
Running will not last forever, Viglax thought.
In the Rustbucket, Heatblast turned back to Lincoln and fell onto a seat.
"I got my butt kicked," said Lincoln.
"And that's why you're not going to pick a fight with Vilgax. He's too strong right now," said Max.
"How do you know he's that strong, Mr. Tennyson?"
"Yeah, you've been acting weird all day, Grandpa," said Gwen, joining in the conversation.
"Look, I'll answer all your questions, but we have to get to Mount Rushmore; alright, just let me focus on the road."
Gwen and Lincoln, separated from Max, whispered about their current situation.
"Why do you think Mount Rushmore is so important to your grandpa?" whispered Lincoln.
"I don't know, maybe it could help against Vilgax," whispered Gwen.
"I hope so, because I did almost nothing to him as Heatblast and I don't even think any of my other aliens can take him head on."
Then two flying drones came toward the RV. Max saw one of them coming to the right side and a light pole in the distance. Max hit the drone just in time, and it crashed into the light post, while the other drone remained fired at the back of the hit the brakes, the drone smashed into the RV, and Max got back up to speed. Then, up the road, Vilgax stood in the middle, and Mount Rushmore was right behind him. Max stopped a few feet away from him.
"Come out and face me, 'hero'," Vilgax demanded.
"Grandpa, what are we going to do?" said Gwen.
"I'm thinking something, Gwen," said Max.
"I got an idea. I'll distract Vilgax, and you guys get whatever at Mount Rushmore," said Lincoln.
"No way Lincoln that dangerous," said Gwen.
"Well, either that or Vilgax smashed his way in here."
Max thought about it for a second and said, "Alright, try to distract him and don't get into a fight."
"Got it." Lincoln saw the Omnitrix was ready to be used, and he changed into Fasttrack.
Before he left, Gwen told Fasttrack, "Be careful, okay."
"I will," then Fasttrack thought, hope.
Fasttrack stepped out of the Rustbucket. He taunted Vilgax, "Try to catch me, sucker." He sped right past Vilgax.
"Get back here!" Vilgax chased after Fasttrack, giving the Tennysons a chance to head to Mount Rushmore.
Fasttrack ran down the road and looked back to see Vilgax on his tail. Then he saw more droids on the road. He used his quickness to disassemble them before Vilgax could catch him.
I have enough of this. Vilgax thought as he stomped on the ground, causing a quake that reached Fasttrack and knocked him to his feet.
Fasttrack got back up and met with Vilgax's fist, hitting him in the face and putting him back to the ground.
It's like getting hit by a brick. Fasttrack thought
"Now it's time to get what's mine," said Vilgax.
He grabbed Fasttrack, and he touched the watch symbol. It caused Lincoln to revert back to his normal self, and Vilgax was surprised to see who had the Omnitrix all this time.
"A Child! I was facing a human child!" said Vilgax.
"I guess you didn't expect this level of disappointment today," said Lincoln.
"No matter, the Omnitrix is mine."
Vilgax tried to grab the watch off of Lincoln, but a green blast knocked him into the nearest tree. Lincoln tried to run away, but Vilgax grabbed him again.
"It seems the watch merged with your DNA," said Vilgax.
"This isn't going to be good for me, isn't it?" said Lincoln.
"You're right about that, human."

The Tennysons arrived at Mount Rushmore, and Max drove to the side of the memorial and reached a dead end.
"What now?" said Gwen.
"This," said Max. He went to the dashboard and pressed the red button.
Then suddenly, the Rustbucket was lowered by an elevator until it reached the bottom of what seemed to be an underground felicity, a two-spaceship. Max got out, and Gwen followed him to a room with hundreds of labeled compartments. Gwen looked at one of the labels that said "Noisy Cricket."
"Grandpa, what is this place?" said Gwen.
"It's a place where he used to be one of many places I worked at," said Max.
He went to one of the compartments and pulled out a large alien ray gun with a green glow.
"What?"
"Let's just say I wasn't exactly an ordinary plumber like I said I was."
"And it has to do with aliens?"
"Yes," Max put a large battery into the gun and asked Gwen, "Do you want to be Lucky Girl again?"
"Huh?"
….
On Vilgax's ship in the middle of a grass field; Inside the ship, Lincoln was strapped onto a hovering table with his hand that had the Omnitrix in a pod. He was in front of Vilgax and some of his men.
"I still can't believe a mere child uses an Omnitrix as a mere plaything," said Vilgax.
"Hey, I used this watch to save and help people," said Lincoln.
"And you're foolish for not knowing the true purpose of the Omnitrix I'll use once I get it off of you."
"That would be?"
"I'll make an army of the many DNA in the watch and take over the galaxy first. I'll conquer this blue planet."
"Um, that sounds very cliche."
"Silence, your simple mind wouldn't understand what I'm going to do with the galaxy once it is conquered, but for now, it's time to operate.
Then, at the press of a button from one of Vilgax's men, all kinds of knives come out of the floor. Vilgax picked the largest and sharpest blade from the knives.
"This is going to hurt less once you lose too much blood," said Vilgax.
Before Vilgax could do anything, a large explosion stopped him. Then suddenly, Rustbucket came through the wall and hit Vilgax in the next room of the ship. Stepping out of the RV was Max, holding the alien rifle.
I didn't expect this, Lincoln thought.
The Vilgax man tried to gang up on Max, but he blasted them with his rifle. In her Lucky Girl costume, Gwen came out of the RV and ran up to Lincoln.
"Lincoln, are you okay?" said Gwen.
"I'm fine Gwen just get me off of this table," said Lincoln.
Using her charm to help free Lincoln, sparks flew around the table and the pod. Suddenly, Lincoln changed into Diamondhead, then Heatblast, then into Four-arms, and he broke free from the table.
"What was that about?" said Gwen.
"No idea," he and Gwen said as they saw Vilgax walk out of the room with a few more droids and flying drones, "and we've got a bigger problem."
The drones and droids go after the Tennysons and Four-arms, but Gwen's charm, Max's ray gun, and Lincoln's sudden ability to change into many alien forms on the fly with no timer are too much for them. Vilgax was not happy about this, but then he recognized Max as someone from his past.
"Max Tennyson's, I should have known someone like you would be involved with the boy," said Vilgax.
"You shouldn't have come back to earth, Vilgax," said Max.
"And how do you know each other?" said Lincoln, who is now WaterHazard
"Long story."
Gwen then saw the ship's control room. She whispered to Lincoln.
"Lincoln, I've got a plan. You think you can take on Vilgax?"
Lincoln changed to Rath. "I got this." Then he pounced on Vilgax, punching him in the face. "Let me tell you something, Vilgax, you're not going to make your lame army with this watch."
"I'll tear you into pieces," said Vilgax, knocking Rath off him.
Then Rath turned into Ghostfreak and possessed Vilgax, making Vilgax punch himself. While the fight between Lincoln and Vilgax was going on, Gwen brought her Grandpa to the ship's controls.
"Since you know about spaceships and alien stuff, you might find the self-destruct button, right?" said Gwen.
Max looked around the ship's controls and found the self-destruct button; he pressed it.
"Now let's get Lincoln and get out of here," said Max.
Back to Lincoln, who's now Diamondhead blocking Vilgax punches.
"You'll never defeat me, child, no matter what you do or how you try," said Vilgax.
"Maybe, but I think it's time we part," Lincoln then changed into Waterhazard and blasted Vilgax with cold water against the wall. Lincoln changed into Big Chill and froze him to the wall. "Not bad for someone who's simple-minded."
"Lincoln!" Lincoln turned to Gwen, who was waving at Rustbucket's doorway, and he flew to her.
Vilgax breaks out of the ice in a rage and hears the computer. "Self-destruct in one minute."
Vilgax went to the controls to try to get the ship not to self-destruct. He flew the ship up in the air but couldn't get the ship not to self-destruct. He screamed in the air.
"TENNYSON!"
On the ground, the three watch as Vilgax's ship explodes in the sky, and the remains fall to the earth's surface.
Lincoln turned back to his regular self and asked, "You think he's well, you know?"
"Knowing Vilgax, he might not be," said Max.
"About that, Mr. Tennyson, are you going to me about, you know, Vilgax and getting that alien gun?"
"And I want to hear about you not being a regular plumber as well," said Gwen.
Max sighed and said, "I guess I owe you kids an explanation about me and what I used to do."
Just like that, everyone's summer became crazier than anyone expected.
