Chapter 5: The Christmas Party
Danny and Star were now in the ghost zone. Danny was carrying her bridal style as they were heading to the Far Frozen.
"How far away are we from the Far Frozen?..."Star asked, still in his arms.
"It's about a ten minute flight from here. We should be there soon..."Danny said.
"That's good. I can't wait to pop in and see Dani's sweet little face. I also am curious what this Ghost Zone Christmas party is like..."She admitted.
"Well, good news, the ghosts actually take the promise not to fight seriously. So much, they even HELPED me take down Ghost Writer when he broke the truce last Christmas..."Danny said.
"I see...well, at least we don't have to worry about an ambush..."Star said as the flight continue.
During the flight, the couple took notice of how surprisingly peaceful the Ghost Zone seemed.
"I'm noticing a severe lack of someone wanting us dead for a change. Wish it were like this more often..." Star acknowledged.
Danny then smirked and sped up.
"Well, I am having fun for once. I mean...I'm away from my house, no fights over Santa, I got some great presents, got to spend time with our friends and I spent the entire day with the most beautiful girl in two world..."He said, holding her close.
"Do I know this girl?..."She asked in a coy manner.
Danny grinned.
"Well, it would be you for your lovely smile...and how hot you looked in that Santa dress. That did help a little...actually a lot..."He said, blushing at recalling hat surprising and very appreciated gift from his one true love.
Star smirked upon hearing that.
"I knew you'd love it. I'm so glad that I kept it..."She said.
"What do you mean?..."Danny asked.
"It was something from my old life..."Star said with mixture of emotions.
"Before the island?..."Danny asked, and she nodded.
"Last year, back when I was still in the A-Listers...Paulina had this idea of dressing up in "festive" Christmas dresses to do a dance for the school's Christmas pageant...though she obviously was doing it in hopes of getting your...as in Ghost you's...attention. You can imagine how that was gonna go. However, Lancer and Principal Ishiyama wouldn't let us since they didn't think it was "appropriate" and our folks got angry that we tried to do something they deemed too "mature"..."Star said. "My dad got especially mad at me that I went along with such a dumb idea to start with..."She said, recalling what happened last year.
"I see...huh, glad you dusted it out for me..."Danny said.
Star kissed his cheek.
"Just remember, that little number is OUR little secret. I don't want to risk getting grounded until New Years... of when we graduate..."Star said, adopting a semi-serious look.
Danny chuckled.
"No worries, I'll keep it quiet..."He said, even zipping his lips to prove his point.
"Good..."Star said before kissing him on the cheek again.
An idea came to him, one that would certainly make this Christmas one that he'll gladly never forget.
"So... any chance you might do that dance for me?..."He asked, unable to help himself.
His girlfriend responded by rolling her eyes and smiling.
"You're lucky you're so cute. Otherwise, I'd suggest that same cream I gave Tucker..."Star said, in a half serious way. "As for your request, if you really want that, you're gonna have to marry me first..."She said in a teasing manner.
Danny heard this and nodded.
"Huh, you just sweetened the pot. I'm almost tempted to ask for your dad's blessing once we head back home..."He said, being semi-serious but a part of him is actually kind of tempted to actually do it.
Star seemed surprised, but then laughed it off.
"Oh, shut up..."She said, giggling and made a mental note to keep that little number of hers in case she ever needs to use it again for her boyfriend.
The couple then noticed that their surroundings were getting colder and could see floating piles of snow and ice. They knew what that meant.
"We're here..."Danny said as they continued their flight to the Far Frozen.
A few minutes later
Danny and Star soon arrived to the Far Frozen, where this years Ghostly Christmas party was being held.
The arrived to Frostbite's village, which was beautifully decorated with many lovely lights and a gorgeous Christmas tree in the middle of it. In addition, many ghosts were already there, some not usually this friendly.
"Wow, never thought I'd see the day..."Star said as she looked around, noticing a lot of faces that were usually hostile, but right now, seemed to be friendly.
It was almost unreal.
"Imagine how I felt the first time..."Danny said as they walked further into the village.
Soon, they were greeted by this years party host, Frostbite.
"Ah, great one and his lovely female companion. It's an honor that you have come to visit us at our glorious Christmas celebration..."The leader of the far frozen said in a gracious tone.
"Thanks, Frostbite. It's great to see you, Merry Christmas..."Danny said.
"Yeah, Merry Christmas..."Star said to the gracious host.
"Merry indeed..."Frostbite said, showing off his fangy smile.
They noticed his teeth were filled with cookie crumbs, and also stifled their laughter.
"So, about the Infi-map?..."Danny asked. "I have family to visit..."He said.
"The map is to be ready but first, just relax and mingle. It IS a party..."Frostbite said as he pointed to the party, which is already in full swing. "Eat, drink and be merry. There's some goose left at the buffet..."The yeti-like ghost said in a cheery way.
Danny and Star weren't so sure.
"I mean...that's nice but we are planning on visiting someone...and they're waiting..."Danny said.
"It's okay. We got time and remember, seeing Dani is a surprise. And I'm kind of curious about seeing what this party is like..."Star pointed out.
Danny thought about it and decided to go along his lady love's request.
"Alright, I guess we can hang for a minute..."Danny said, while his ghostly friend smiled.
"That's the spirit..." Frostbite said, smiling.
"Now come along, the party has began and feel free to enjoy the festive feast and drinks..."He said as he offer his jolly hospitality to the teenage couple.
A few moments later
Danny and Star were in the middle of the party and just like last time, practically every ghost whom Danny knew was here.
"You're seriously being nice to us?..." Star asked.
The ghost that she was talking to was none other than The self-proclaimed greatest hunter in the Ghost Zone, Skulker himself and at first he didn't seem at that jolly to see his most hated of enemies here, and decided to be clear about something.
"Don't get the wrong idea, girl. We're just honoring tradition and that's the only reason I haven't launched my missiles at you two yet. As soon as this truce is over, we go back to being enemies... but for now...let's eat and party!..." Skulker said, before drinking some eggnog.
The other ghosts all cheered and went back to celebrating the special holiday that comes over once a year.
"Here here!..."Box Ghost said as he ate a cookie, one that the Lunch lady made.
They weren't only Christmas ghostly couple to appear at the social event, as a familiar duo in leather biker getup had walked up the Danny and Star just now to greet them.
"Sup?..." Johnny went, while Kitty waved.
"Hey, Danny. Hey Star..."She said in a friendly manner.
"Uh...Hey..."Star said, weirded out by the friendliness.
"Merry Christmas you two, best wishes..."Desiree said, wearing a Santa hat and and placing hats on their heads.
"Uh, sure...just as long as they don't cause us trouble..."Danny said, as the genie ghost then went to mingle and have fun.
An actual friendly face approached the young couple and it was one that Danny was already familiar with.
"Greetings, Sir Phantom..."Queen Dora waved as Danny waved back.
Star wanted to wave at the only other friendly ghost, beside Frostbite and his people, but was having trouble remembering what her name is.
"Was that... Dora Mattingly?..." Star asked, looking surprised.
"It's Dorothea, or just Dora, actually..." Danny said, as his blonde girlfriend tried to make a mental note to ask about that later.
Right now, it's a party and they wanted to enjoy it a little before visiting Danielle. However, Star frowned when one of her least favorite ghosts showed up and made a pass.
"Lookin' good, Baby Pop..." Ember said, waving at him.
Danny cringed, while Star glared at her ghostly love rival.
"Truce or not, he's taken!..."Star said as she grabbed Danny's arm protectively.
The others saw this and chuckled.
"Ooh, someone's popular..."Johnny teased while Kitty nudged him.
This caused some laughter from the other party goers at Johnny's expense. Star didn't care as she kept her arms around Danny and sent a warning look at her rival, who just waved it off.
"Relax, Blondie. I'm not here to fight. We can save that for tomorrow. Especially, if there's still some mistletoe around for me and Baby-pop to share..."Ember said in an easy going way, winking before leaving.
"For real?..." Star asked.
"They're not allowed to fight..." Danny explained.
Star saw for herself how all of Danny's enemies were in the same room with him, mingling and partying. Things that humans do during this season.
This made her wonder if what the other residences of the Ghost Zone did whenever they're not causing trouble in the human world.
However, that's a question for later.
Right now, it's time to party.
Ten minutes later
The young couple were mingling and chatting, though they tried to stick to ghosts whom they were already on good terms with.
They even thought that they spotted Zoren in the distance, it only endded up being someone's fur coat on a hanger.
""Weird, for a minute that I actually thought that he showed up out of the blue..."The blonde girl said.
"Yeah, I mean... I certainly wouldn't put it pass him to want yo show up here and liven things up. Maybe something else caught his interest..."Danny said, as they kept mingling.
However, that was put on hold as two unlikely ghosts had crossed their path.
Star soon found herself facing a familiar pair of ghosts speaking to them. It was Walker and Poindexter, both whom had either an awkward or unpleasant expression look on their faces.
The ghostly warden was the one with the unpleasant expression.
He was still sore about what happened the last time they crossed paths, and that fact was crystal clear to everyone at the party, since news in the Ghost Zone spread like wildfire. However, Walker respected the rules too much and tried to act civil.
"Phantom...Phantom's girl..."Walker said, looking embittered but tried to be civil.
"Uh...Hi Danny...Hi Star..."Poindexter said in an awkward way
"Hey..."Danny said as Star said nothing.
"So... how's it going?..." Poindexter asked.
Star sighed.
While Poindexter and them sorta buried the hatchet, it was still awkward to be around him given what had happened. Still this is a party and they tried to be nice.
"Fine... I guess..." Star said.
"How's being under the Observants' watch more carefully?..." Danny asked, smirking as he knew that the warden can't antagonize him during the Christmas truce.
Walker held it in and stayed ominously civil towards him.
"Fine..." He responded, clenching on his beverage so very tight that he nearly made it crack under pressure from his grip.
Danny and Star noticed this and had matching smirks on their faces when the ghost warden then immediately excused himself to suddenly drag Poindexter with him away from the couple to converse with him instead.
"Heh... how've you been?..." Poindexter went.
"Yeah, been okay, sort of..." Walker went.
The two looked away, since they didn't know what else to talk about beside their jobs. Which weren't exactly the most festive of party conversation topics.
"Awkward..." Star said as she watched the two talk, glad it wasn't her they were speaking with anymore.
As the two parted themselves far away from the heavy awkwardness from those two ghosts, someone else walked in.
"Well, I see you're finally here..."Spectra said, looking oddly chipper as she casually greeted them like there was absolutely no bad blood between either of them.
Star frowned, not finding this encounter to be pleasant in the slightest.
"Truce or not, I haven't forgotten what happened at the beauty pageant..."She said, clearly still angry with her for what she during that pageant incident.
The ghoul just waved it off and as if it was just water under the bridge or something.
"No worries. Come tomorrow, we're back to being enemies, but that doesn't mean that we can't enjoy ourselves at the party..."Spectra said, as she took a sip of her hot chocolate.
"Yeah, it's a party and there's plenty of food to go around..."Bertrand said, stuffing his face.
Spectra shook her head disapprovingly before an idea came to her mind.
"So, Star...how's that handsome father of yours? Has he asked about me?..."She asked, looking interested.
Star and Danny both felt sick upon hearing this.
"Uh, my dad is STILL happily dating his girlfriend and he's not into chicks who literally feed off misery. So, I suggest finding someone else, like Vlad..."Star said, wanting to keep this ghostly witch far away from her Dad.
Spectra pouted.
"Oh please, Vlad's nowhere near as handsome and I can't feed off his misery, since he's an adult. Besides, he's too hooked on a woman who hates his guts..."She said.
"You can't date my dad! He already has someone and he's too nice to want someone like you!..."Star said, losing her patience but the ghoul just smirked.
"I think that's his decision to make. I can help him rethink that..."Spectra said as she walked away, making the blonde girl fume with anger but tried to keep her cool since this was neither the time nor the place for yet.
"Oh, Spectra..."Was heard.
Bullet was holding the mistletoe as he approached with a suave grin on his face. Spectra rolled her eyes and rubbed two fingers on her forehead, since this was third attempt that he tried that mistletoe trick.
"You do remember what happened the LAST time you tried that stupid trick?..."Spectra asked, since the last two times ended miserably for him...after the truce ended, mind you.
"Come on, it's a tradition..."Bullet said, showing that he wasn't going to give up anytime soon.
The female ghost rolled her eyes and decided to just get it over with, mostly to get back to partying in peace.
"Fine, but I'm not dating you tomorrow for this..."Spectra said before planting a kiss on his cheek.
"So sick..."Danny said, rubbing his eyes.
"No kidding..."Star said as she made another mental note to keep a close eye on her, and to keep her as far away from her father as possible.
After that, she noticed again the peacefulness.
She saw that all of their foes who literally tried to destroy them all year long were peacefully merry making and acting like regular people who were just trying to enjoy the Holiday.
It was simply unreal, like something straight out of that behind the scenes movie that her father told her about.
"I thought Danny was exaggerating but...they really DO act nice. I don't know what started this tradition, but I wish we had it on our side of existence..."Star mused as Danny nudged her out of her thoughts.
"So, what do you think of the party?..."Danny asked, looking relaxed.
"It's exactly as you described it...and yet I still can't believe it. It really is bizarre to see them like this, but at the same time, kind of a nice change of pace to have..."Star said.
"Yeah, this truce was the only silver lining I got last year. And that same silver lining helped me save the day back then, so I've gain an appreciation for it..."Danny admitted, as he thought about visiting these truce parties as his own kind of tradition whenever he needs a breather from his usual Christmas routine if Star wasn't around.
"At least Vlad isn't here. Why, didn't he get an invite to the party? And we didn't see his ugly face at all today?..."Star asked in a coy manner.
Her boyfriend then had a Grinch-like smile on his face, which his girlfriend knew the meaning of.
"Boo, what did you do?..."Star asked, smiling as she suspected that he might be the reason why she didn't see the crazed fruitloop at all this Christmas.
Danny darted his eyes away a moment as he recalled his actions.
"Well, SOMEONE may have lied to make it sound like Aunt Alicia was going to spend the Holidays with us this year...and that may or may not have made the Fruitloop desperately wanted to make an excuse to turn down by Dad's invitation to spend the Holidays with us by saying he's going to spend it with his sister or whatever..."Danny said, smirking the entire time.
"Vlad has a sister?..."Star asked, confused.
"No clue, even my dad didn't know. Anyway, that Fruitloop is gonna be out of town till after New Years...since that's how long Aunt Alicia was supposedly gonna be staying with us... until New Year's..."Danny said with a snicker.
Star heard this and giggled.
"Nice one..."She said as they high-fived, happy that they didn't have to deal with that creep today.
"Dealing with him would have made my mission to cheer Danny up even harder..."She thought, relieved that he's out of town.
What Vlad did wasn't important, only that he's gone.
Meanwhile
In Tahiti
Vlad Masters was currently spending Christmas in one of his many properties, some place tropical and remote, far away from any tourist destinations.
And as always, he was completely alone.
He hated being alone, especially on Christmas but with the exception of his cat, he's spending the Holiday by himself, just like last year.
"This isn't right. I should be in Amity Park, manipulating and or destroying that oaf Jack Fenton and finding ways to get my beautiful Maddie under the mistletoe, and making Daniel and his little harpy pay!..."Vlad muttered as he sipped his drink.
However, there was a reason he was hiding out here and not at the truce in Amity Park.
"However, the risk of running into Alicia and an encounter under the mistletoe is a bullet that I'm perfectly fine with dodging..."Vlad said with a shudder, still traumatized from his last encounter with that woman, which ironically, was also the last time he received a kiss or any affection from a female in general.
Some might call it pathetic, but he called being her love a fate worse than death.
He still had bad memories of Maddie's older sister and his last encounter with her. That event was so revolting that he still had flashbacks of that hulking, mannish woman trapping him in her cabin for almost two days and refusing to let him go as she kept smothering him with affection.
Even now, the image of Alicia appearing again and puckering her lips at him made his face green and hard to swallow.
"Oh, not again! Not again!..."A sick-looking Vlad said as he covered his mouth, before running to his nearby bathroom.
Soon, the sounds of vomiting could be heard, while his cat Maddie only sat there on the bed, looking confused but disinterested as she began licking her fur and paid no mind.
"I'm SO going to banish that woman as soon as the world and Maddie are mine!..." Vlad said before vomiting again.
Back in the Ghost Zone
Danny and Star shared a quick dance as Ember performed a Christmas medley that DIDN'T hypnotize anyone and that was a relief.
The two finished as soon as Ember took a break, while the rest of her ghoulish band mates were ordered by her to continue playing traditional Christmas melodies in her absence.
Danny and Star also decided to take a break from dancing. The young couple then sat together and chat amongst themselves for a bit.
"This party has been fun and all, but we better get going before we're late. At least Danny's starting to show some signs of cheering up, let's hope that Danielle can help me improve his mood even better..."Star thought as she saw her man visibly relaxed and saw him flash one of his cute grins on his face.
It made her smile and more sure of herself in her attempts of lifting his mood. She, still determined to make this the best Christmas possible for her boyfriend, felt that her efforts were working.
"Looks like someone's starting to feel the joy of the season..."She said, and Danny chuckled a bit before smiling at her.
"Yeah, I feel a lot better. Now, let's get to Danielle before it gets too late..." He said.
"I find it hard to think ghosts who normally try to kill you are greeting you so nicely..." Star admitted.
"Yeah, it's weird, but it'll last until sundown..." He said.
"So, Ember will go from greeting us friendly to pushing me aside to make out with you after that? Then we better go..."Star insisted.
"Yeah... sadly, she's easier to get along with than my parents right now..."Danny said.
"The evil ghost who decided she wants you for her boyfriend or tries to destroy us on a near regular basis is easier to get along with than your parents? That's... kind of sad..." Star admitted, feeling sorry for her man.
Danny said nothing, clearly not wanting to talk about about that. That's when Frostbite appeared, with the Infi-Map as well.
"Apologies for the wait. Here you are..." Frostbite said, handing them the map.
"Thanks, Frostbite. We really appreciate it..."Danny said, taking it.
"Of course, anything for the savior of the ghost zone. Just be sure to return the map by tomorrow. Otherwise, I'll miss the swap meet I want to go to before anyone comes looking for it..."Frostbite said, deciding to share the map for Christmas.
"Thank you, Frostbite. This really means a lot to us..."Star said, as she thanked the chief Yeti ghost with a warm hug, which he returned.
"Happy Holidays..."The both said to their ghostly friend, before he went back to his duties as the party host.
Danny and Star soon stared at each other and were excited to get to see their adorable little half ghost friend and Wulf this Christmas
"So, should we go straight to Dani or is there any stops that we should make?..."Danny asked.
Star thought about it and made up her mind.
"Well, I do wanna see if we can go bring some extra Christmas cookies and treats for her. Knowing her, she's probably already eaten the ones we already sent her..."She said.
Danny thought about it and figured that in all likelihood she was probably right about that possibility.
"You're probably right. Okay. Map, take us to Amity Park first..."Danny said as he and Star held hands together, as the map activated.
"I kind of hate this part!..."Star screamed as the map got them out of the GZ and headed back home in a fashion that resembled a roller-coaster ride, but far more intense.
As they left, someone heard them, someone else who desired Danny.
"I'm easier to get along with?..." She asked, curious as she decided to follow.
Minutes later
Danny and Star were now back in Amity Park and unfortunately suffered some minor side effects from the extremely quick trip back.
Star's hair was blown back due to how fast they had been going and the blonde girl quickly pull out her handheld mirror to see the full extent of her hair for herself.
"Wow, and I thought that roller coaster we went on at the carnival was fast..."She said as she began to fix her hair.
"You thought that ride was fast? I'd feel a little insulted if I didn't love you..."Danny said, teasing her girlfriend while she continued to work on her hair.
Star nodded, and soon finished with her hair. After that, they soon went out of the lab and went to Star's house to restock on snacks, since Danny's house wasn't much of an option to go to right now.
Once there, they both got several dozen Christmas cookies, candy canes and chocolates. Thankfully Star's dad won't question her too much on where some of all the extra Christmas sweet went too, since he'll just assume that she shared them with her boyfriend or something, or at least that is what she is counting on.
"That should be enough for Dani..."Danny said.
"We should get something for Wulf too. Something meaty..."Star pointed out, as she picked out a ham from the fridge.
Danny nodded and they then bought several cans of various meats. Once they got what they were looking for, they went outside and smiled.
"Looks like we're ready..."Danny said, as they carried their items.
"Yeah, I can't wait to see Danielle and Wulf's faces once they see all this..."Star said in a cheerful manner, looking forward to the visit.
The two smiled and held hands, ready to make the next trip and have a fun time with the adorable little ghost girl and their werewolf-like friend.
They kept walking, trying to find a nice secluded spot to use the map in peace and were soon near Danny's neighborhood. They knew it was risky but likely vacant at this time too.
"Now... to find a nice private spot and just open this and-..."
"I TOLD YOU HE NEVER SHOWED UP!..." Maddie went.
Danny groaned, and Star gasped. Both were surprised to see THEM once again.
"No. Not them. They can't be here! Not now!..."Star said as she and Danny turned around and they both tried to sneak pass them.
Danny's parents didn't seem to notice them as they kept arguing. The teens thought that they probably would have left the house by now but they were still at it.
"How do you know?!..." Jack asked, glaring at her.
"Because I set a trap to be sure!..." Maddie said, pointing to her elaborate trap on rope, that was right beside a few trapdoors around it and some pins pointing up.
"Isn't that our security system for burglars? ... because you won't hire actual systems?..." Jazz asked, as her parents didn't notice her distress.
"That's besides the point Jazzy-pant!..." Jack went.
"Yeah, the point is that none of my traps were set off. Which is further proof that he doesn't exist!..."Maddie shouted, stating her case clear as day and looking pretty smug about it to.
"Take that back, he may be on the heavy side but he can easily sneak pass any household traps. So, these untriggered traps proves nothing!..."Jack yelled back, mortifying their daughter even more.
"Mom, Dad. Please stop!..."Jazz tried, but her folks were too absorbed by their argument to listen.
"Ugh... here we go... as if on cue..." Danny muttered.
Seeing Danny's misery, Star had it.
"He exists!..."Jack shouted.
"He doesn't!..." Maddie shouted, unaware that a certain teen who was reaching the limits of patience.
It was their son, who against his better judgement, tried to stop their fight.
"Mom! Dad! Please stop!..." Danny went, but it was too late as the fight escalated.
Maddie threw a snow globe at Jack, which hit the ceiling above since she missed her husband. The end result is that it all landed on her son instead.
They both had yet to notice that the now broken snow globe had soaked Danny with its contents while tiny snowflake shared landed dots were now a littered mess in his hair, leaving him soaked and miserable.
"Danny?!..." Star exclaimed in a horrified tone, as her boyfriend just stood quietly and didn't even move a muscle.
His own parents were too busy continuing their traditional argument that they weren't even aware of his current state of being, or that he was even there at aĺl.
Star was expecting her boyfriend to burst out a raw anger at his parents for not listening to him, but to Star's surprise, that didn't happen. No, he just reminded still and she stepped closer to see what was holding Danny back, but once she saw the look on her Boo's face it nearly broke her heart.
Her Danny-boo was crying.
She had never seen Danny cry before, not even back when she was part of the A-listers and they bullied him. This was the very first time she had even seen Danny, who is the heroic, optimistic, hopeful and a starry-eyed guy that she knows and loves so much, look so miserable and vulnerable... it breaks her heart to see him like this..
"Every...single...time..."Danny said quietly as his eyes slowly started shedding tears from his eyes mixing with the snow globe's water as he was slowly losing his Christmas spirit right in front of his dream girl.
He hated this but couldn't stop.
This fight caused the ghost boy to have a flashback of his childhood during Christmas. The past wasn't that much different than now. His parents were arguing loudly in another room, while his big sister was busy fending off another turkey dinner that somehow came to life to protect him, leaving a little Danny all alone in his room and feeling completely invisible to the rest of the world, just like how he feels right now in the present.
That only made Danny feel even worse about himself.
Right now, the ghost boy felt so angry, miserable and humiliated right now that he couldn't bare to look Star in the eyes out of fear of having her see him cry or seeing him as the loser that he felt like the A-listers kept calling him. If his parents weren't right in front of him right now, he would've used his powers to turn himself invisible and just disappear somewhere that he could be alone, but he can't and that frustrated him even more!
Star saw this was clearly upsetting him, while the arguing continued and she just couldn't stand seeing him in this state any longer. She knows that she to do something to help Danny and she knew exactly what that meant.
Danny was about to snap, but then Star...did something no one expected her to do...She screamed.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!..."Star yelled at the top of her lungs, startling Danny, the Fentons and anyone in a half mile radius due to how loud her shrieks are.
Jack and Maddie stopped yelling as they turned around.
"What? Danny? Star? What are you-..."Maddie was cut off when her potential future daughter-in-law started screaming again.
"STOP IT! BOTH OF YOU! YOU'RE RUINING CHRISTMAS FOR DANNY AGAIN!..." Star yelled at the top of her lungs at them, loud enough to get attention from not only the Fentons, but the entire block.
Danny had been covering his ears during her yells and blinked in surprise.
"And people say my ghostly wail is loud..."Danny muttered, but watched as his girlfriend do something that no one else, besides him and Jazz, did for him on Christmas.
She had one last gift for him after all... confronting his parents.
Oh boy.

A/N(1): Special thanks to NeoMark and Jay The Average Fanboy for helping out with this chapter. You guys rock :)
A/N(2): Happy New Year! :)
REPLIES to my loyal and totally awesome reviewer:
RonaldM40196867:
1) All but Vlad it seems.
2) I'll think about it.
3) Sorry, but I don't think I'll be able to make one this year.
CZS4 and Jebest4781: Thank you :)
Invader Johnny: Yeah.
Saberwolf335: How is this so far?
Guest: He wouldn't be too happy with them, that's for sure.
Luiz4200: They probably aren't that much different from him in terms of attitude and mentality, so they probably have the same relationship that Jean-Luc has with Colette.
JDF Legacier Morphicon: Thank you :)
Here are my responses to your questions:
1) I think so. Danny and Val had some interesting chemistry between them and I think their relationship had a lot of unused potential.
2) It might be interesting.
3) She would probably call herself Paulina Phantom or something.
4) I think we should have seen what kind of deal the Fright Knight made with Vlad, the return of Dark Danny and how Val confronted Danny after learning his secret.
5) I think that it has some potential, if Kitty gains character development and dumps Johnny.
:) I hope you enjoyed this! Remember to read and review :)
