Eret had now used all his life energy to bring out his true strength, something which he called The One Ultimate. He was a radiating power, but that power was a double-edged sword as it would kill him in the end, but he didn't care so long as he protected his friends.

The Demon King was in shock when he tried to remove his arm from Eret's chest and found that it was completely wedged in.

"Let go!" he demanded.

Eret said nothing and merely smiled as he looked down upon the Demon King. The Demon King refused to be looked down upon like an inferior, and with his free fist, he began punching Eret as hard in the face as he possibly could. However, none of his blows had any effect upon him, and Eret then struck him with blows of his own.

"Eret, please, don't do this!" Astrid pleaded.

Eret ignored her pleas and continued to pummel the Demon King with his fists.

"No, we can't," said Heather. "If he keeps this up, it's going to kill him. We have to stop them, hurry!"

Eret then punched the Demon King so hard that he managed to free his hand and hit the ground with a colossal impact. The wound within Eret's chest then began to heal itself as if it had never existed in the first place.

"Playtime is over, human," said the Demon King as he picked himself up. He then raised his hand in the air, and darkness began to form. "Begone!"

He then flung his darkness upon Eret, but Meliodas quickly jumped into its path.

"Time for Full-Counter Vanish!" he yelled, swinging his blade.

"How about some Vanishing Kill!" Snotlout yelled, swinging his mace.

"And some Dragon Wind!" Hiccup yelled as he spun around, creating a whirlwind.

The three of them together destroyed the darkness before it hit Eret.

"Now it's my turn; tried to fight fire with fire!" Fishlegs yelled as his spear transformed into its Increase Form, and he reigned blades down upon the Demon King.

"What is all this?" Eret demanded. "I thought I told you to not interfere with me."

He then began moving towards the Demon King and blocked his path was Hiccup.

"I should be asking you what the heck you're doing, you idiot!" he said furiously.

"Step aside," Eret ordered.

"That's what you want me to do, then you're going to have to make me. I did invite you into Seven Deadly Sins so that you can act like some kind of rampaging monster."

Eret looked at him. "Do you remember? Back when I didn't know how to properly harness my powers, and I would lose control. It wasn't exactly an easy time for me. Over, over and over again, I'd get clobbered by you and have the living daylights beat out of me.

You risk your life to teach me; you would endanger yourself to try and help me learn how to command Sunshine. You gave me a place where to belong when I was utterly alone. Not only did you make me feel useful, but you also made me feel wanted. Do you have any idea, any idea at all that, how happy that had made me?"

"You want alone, Eret; Hiccup gave us all a place to belong," said Astrid.

The Demon King had now picked himself up and raised his sword. "Creature of Darkness! Tear out the guts of these miscreants and devour them whole.

Darkness erupted from his sword and began to take the form of a monstrous creature that towered over them.

"There's a promise that I have kept in my heart, one that I have held sacred all time," said Eret as he jumped into the air and charged towards the beast.

"Eret!" Hiccup yelled.

"That this life I was once ready to abandon would instead be used as a sacrifice to save my friends!" Eret announced.

The creature of darkness then opened its mouth, and hands began to shoot out instead of a tongue.

Eret was about to do battle with his creature alone when suddenly shooting past him was Hiccup in his Dragonborn form and Meliodas in his demonic form.

"If you're going to stake your life in an effort to save ours, then it only makes sense that we stake our lives for the sake of yours as well!" Hiccup yelled.

"I may not be an official member of the Seven Deadly Sins, but that's not going to stop me from helping out my friends," said Meliodas.

"They're right, you know," said Snotlout.

Eret turned his head and saw the other Seven Deadly Sins had joined in as well.

"You're not alone anymore, my friend," said Fishlegs.

"Thank you, all of you," said Eret.

"Let's go!" Hiccup yelled.

Old and then began launching their attacks at the creature of darkness. Their attacks were so powerful that the creature could not withstand them, and soon a series of explosions erupted around it.

The Demon King stared in shock and disbelief. "Impossible!"

The Demon King was then not forward by the explosions.

"Hiccup… Ragnar… Snotlout… Astrid… Fishlegs… Heather… Meliodas… Forgive me; it's far too late for me to turn back now," he said solemnly. "So instead, I would ask a favour from you. Please allow me to continue this battle and fight alongside you one last time."

Hiccup closed his eyes and nodded. "Very well."

Eret smiled and nodded gratefully.

Hiccup then looked at everyone else. "No matter what happens, we're friends until the very end."

Meanwhile, in the Mindscape, Zeldris was witnessing the memory of the day Meliodas chose to defect.

"That's hilarious," said a fake Meliodas just after Zeldris walked away from denouncing his brother. "And when that time comes, I won't be holding back. There is no need to, as I never for one thought of you as my little brother anyway."

"So now do you remember?" said the Demon King. "This is the true nature of the older brother you decided to put your trust in. He is trying to trick you."

Zeldris responded by reaching for his sword. "You think illusions can still sway me after that happened!"

He then swung his sword, destroying the illusions, and the magical slash from his attack continued striking the Demon King, who had been hiding. There was a grunt of pain, and the illusion that concealed the Demon King disappeared, revealing the man himself.

"I'm begging you, if you're going to dramatise my past, at least make it good," said Zeldris.

Gelda giggled.

"No matter how many lies you line up in front of me, I already know what is deep down in Meliodas' heart. I've merely convinced myself that he betrayed me before."

"Glad to hear it, but should you really say that to your big brother face-to-face," said Gelda.

"Uh, well, possibly," said Zeldris looking slightly uneasy. "I don't know if I'm ready to."

"Ah, then how about I tell him for you?"

"What? Don't do that! Let's just drop it!"

"You don't have the slightest understanding of how it feels for a parent to have to kill his beloved son with his own hands!" The Demon King roared as he raised his blade.

He then swung his blade down upon Zeldris, but he managed to grab Gelda and jumped to safety in time to avoid it.

"You infuriating fool!" the Demon King roared.

"Your beloved son, huh?" Zeldris scoffed. "What a joke! Throughout my life, I can't remember a single time I felt loved by you! And now you want me to pity you? How far you've fallen."

The Demon King laughed. "Don't get cocky. Do you really think the Demon King could ever be bested by the likes of you?"

He then swung his blade, sending a shockwave across the ground, and both Zeldris and Gelda jumped to the site to avoid it.

"As I am now, I may not be as strong as you or Meliodas," Zeldris admitted as he jumped into the air. "However…" He then swung his sword, striking the Demon King and knocking him back. "…this battleground is in the Mindscape!" He then summoned his wings and hovered in the air. "In this place, I still have a fighting chance, and just like Meliodas, who would happily risk his life for, I also someone I could never give up on!"

He flew towards the Demon King, and soon the two of them began to clash sword against sword.

"Do you actually think the Demon King himself would ever yield to a weakling who is under the thumb of some woman!" the Demon King yelled as he swung his blade repeatedly.

Zeldris kept up with the Demon King's swings until, finally, he was knocked backwards. He quickly recovered and landed on his feet, and then a crack appeared within the Demon King's helm.

"Hiccup Haddock was right; you could never understand how the joy of loving someone and being loved in return can bring forth great strength you never knew you had," said Zeldris and then quickly looked back at Gelda. "You better not tell either Hiccup Haddock or Meliodas I said that!"

"Yeah, yeah," Gelda smiled.

Zeldris then turned back to the Demon King, pointing his sword at him. "Father, right now, your pride is crumbling to pieces, and your heart is weakened. The reason why it is clear as day you have been defeated by the hand of Meliodas before, and even though you're the Demon King, you're obviously about to lose to him again!"

"You dare say the Demon King would lose twice," said the Demon King furiously. "How arrogant and presumptuous. You wouldn't know what is happening outside!"

He then swung his sword down upon Zeldris, who quickly jumped high into the air to avoid it. He then began using the rubble from the attacks to jump around and landed a safe distance away.

"I know that I'm right," he said.

Sure enough, in the real world, Meliodas and the Seven Deadly Sins were overpowering the Demon King.

"Because I trust him… I trust my big brother! Now on, Ominous Nebula!" he yelled and created a powerful vortex around him.

The Demon King himself found himself struggling to fight against the vortex as it pulled him towards him.

"Zeldris, you too," said the Demon King. "You would define your own father!"

"I told you before, I'm going to beat you!" Zeldris vowed.

The Demon King cannot stop himself from being pulled towards Zeldris as he channelled all the power he could muster into his blade.

Back in the real world, the Demon King had been completely overpowered by the combined strength of Meliodas and the Seven Deadly Sins. Blood poured out of his mouth and landed on the ground in great quantity.

They then watched as the Demon King turned into darkness and looked as if he was struggling to stay in his original form.

Gelda then chose that moment to wake up. "Zel!"

"Gelda, I'm so glad you're back," said Ruby.

Everyone watched as the darkness of the Demon King slowly separated from Zeldris' body. The darkness looked as if it was struggling to stay put, but it appeared to be a losing battle.

"What happened to him?" Heather asked. "He's suddenly in a lot of pain."

"The Demon King is most likely beginning to separate from Zeldris," Ragnar theorised.

Zeldris roared in pain as the darkness of the Demon King was ripped from his body and looked as if it had torn his arm off.

"Zeldris!" Meliodas cried as Zeldris fell.

"No! My vessel!" the Demon King cried as he tried to grab Zeldris with a hand of darkness. "I won't let it go!"

However, before he had a chance to grab Zeldris, he vanished.

"Too bad, so sad," Snotlout smirked as he used his Snatch skill to grab Zeldris. He then tossed him over to Gelda. "I believe this is yours."

Gelda quickly caught Zeldris in her arms and looked as if a great weight had been lifted from her shoulders.

"Nice one!" Heather smiled.

"I owe you one," said Meliodas looking at Snotlout.

"You can pay me back with a good drink once all this is over," said Snotlout.

"Thank goodness," said Ruby.

"Thank you all, sincerely," said Gelda gratefully.

Zeldris then opened his eyes. "What happened?"

Meliodas approached him, smiling with pride. "You did it, Zeldris. You beat him. You faced off against father and won."

"Huh, of course, I did," he huffed and then buried his head into Gelda's breasts.

"Well, well, well, you must be a real boobs kind of guy," Meliodas teased. "You planted your face into her chest while in the Mindscape too?"

"Just shut up!" said Zeldris, bright red with embarrassment.

Hiccup shook his head. "You two brothers are more likely than you think."

"I said shut up!"

"How dare you," said the Demon King.

He then launched himself into the air.

"He's running away!" Heather pointed.

"The coward," Eret growled.

"He's just a loser," Astrid growled.

"You will cease!" he vowed, and then suddenly, he began spreading his essence across the land.

"He exploded and scattered himself," said Skull.

"What's his plan? Have any clue?" Hiccup asked.

Ragnar's eyes widened in horror. "Could it be?

The Demon King's essence then struck the land engulfing every single plan to animal he touched.

"The fallen Commandments, they're spreading, taking over other lifeforms," said Fishlegs.

"It's not just the lifeforms; it's everything they touch," said Heather.

"Ideas, Ragnar? What is he hoping to do?" Eret asked.

"There's no mistaking it," said Ragnar. "Now that both Meliodas and Zeldris have not only defeated him and rejected him, he's planning on making the very continent his new vessel."

They watched as the ground began to rise, demolishing any settlements that littered the landscape. The ground began to shake, and dust filled the air. They soon came face-to-face with a monstrous creature made at the very earth itself.

All across the land, the people felt the ground shake and saw the storms were becoming even worse.

"That shaking earlier… what was it? What in the world is happening?"

The Dragon Knights immediately went across the entire kingdom to calm the people.

"Please remain calm," said Calder. "Please head straight towards Berk Castle; stay until the shaking dies down."

"What is that?" said Alvin looking towards the distance.

There they could see that the sky was red in the distance, and fierce lightning rained down upon the ground.

Toothless, Luna and the twins were on the Black Dragon, making their way towards the battlefield with all haste. The twins were operating the Black Dragons mechanism allowing them to drive across the countryside in high gear.

"You sure it's a good idea for us to join them?" Luna asked.

"No, but we can't abandon them either," said Toothless.

"We're certainly not going to abandon the Princess was still her bodyguards," said Ruffnut.

"And since she disappeared on our watch, the king is not going to be too pleased with us," said Tuffnut.

They soon emerged from the woods and saw the monstrous form of the Demon King.

"What the hell is that thing?" Toothless stared.

"Have never seen a creature like this before, but it's a radiating evil," said Luna.

"Whatever that thing is, it doesn't change anything; we're not turning back," said Tuffnut.

"We shall protect the Princess until our death!" Ruffnut announced.

In the Druid Holy Land, both Jenna and Zaneri had revealed themselves to be angels and were now hovering in the air, watching the devastation before them.

"An incredibly terrifying sight to see," said Jenna.

"Careful, Sir Hiccup, get out of there," Zaneri pleaded.

At the Fairy King's Forest, the giants and fairies there could sense something wrong.

"What's happening?" Orist asked. "Lady Shanna, we're all not going to die, are we?"

Shanna remained silent, and Dagur just looked on, concerned for his sister.

Things were not much better within the Berk capital.

"Damnit, what are we supposed to do now?" said Ake.

"I'm worried," said Sapphire as she hugged Gilthunder.

"I'll stay with you until the end, no matter what, Lady Amber," Gael promised Amber.

King Topaz just looked on, utterly devastated.

"That's it, it's over," he said.

"Inhabitants of these lands, I see your faces crumpled in fear before my eyes!" the Demon King yelled to all. "Due to the sinful follies, you have all committed, the day of reckoning is now upon you! Tremble in fear surrendered to me; there is no greater sin than defying the Demon King!"

However, when he looked into the faces of Meliodas and the others, none of them had a single shred of fear in their eyes; in fact, it was just the opposite.

"What with those faces?" he said. "Why? Why?!"

"Because we know you don't stand a chance on this battlefield, father," said Zeldris.

"I'm fine; everyone is here with me, so I'm not afraid," said Heather.

"Let's get this over with; we've got some happy endings to live for," said Fishlegs.

"You just can't take the hint that you're beaten," said Astrid.

"Your entire body is usually quite broken down. Is that travesty really the best you can do with a makeshift substitute," said Ragnar.

"Top levels of impudence, Demon King," said Eret.

"Would you say we just take this guy down already?" Snotlout suggested.

"This is a long time coming, but it's time to put an end to your travesties, father," said Meliodas.

"All right! Let's go!" Hiccup yelled.
