Morning Bubble (PART A) - Seattle

Donna and Harvey were able to adjust to each other's morning routine pretty quickly in New York which they were able to carry over in Seattle. Ever since they got together, they go to work together and that didn't change since they happen to work at the same office in Seattle.

They have conversations in the car that continues to the lobby to the elevator up to the 45th floor and only ends until they have to go to their own offices. They have their own bubble in the morning. People will usually greet them with a simple good morning, a smile or a nod and they would return the gesture and then go back to their own conversation. Even Mike and Rachel who they usually ride the elevator with doesn't really dare to break their bubble. They would only greet the two and let them be.

They would talk about things that only they would understand like things in the DA's office, a joke that the only 2 of them would get or something as simple as what they've seen on tv las t night. Maybe this is also the reason why nobody butts in is because no one really get what they're talking about. More over the fact that they really don't start work until they reach the 45th floor. The morning is theirs as husband and wife. They start to be the COO and lawyer that they are when they step out of the elevator.

The only person who dared to break their bubble was Harvey's new associate who they bumped into at the elevator.

Donna and Harvey was in the middle of the conversation in the elevator when the associate who was behind them introduced himself.

"I know that Harvey, but I want to check the -" Donna was cut off by the associate

"Harvey? Harvey Specter? I'm your new associate David Harris" Harvey turned around and the associate extended his hand and Harvey had no choice but to extend his and he shook the associate's hand. Donna and Harvey was both annoyed but mostly it was Harvey.

"Harvey Specter" Not pleased to meet you, he thought in his head, already knowing that this associate will never last. The associate kept talking to Harvey.

Mike and Rachel who was in the same elevator eyed and smirked at Donna and the latter gave them the "I'm annoyed and this associate will not last look"

David kept on talking and Harvey's not even listening. If this was before, he's already put the associate in his place and tell him to stop and might have fired him right away. Except now, he's a changed man and didn't want to embarrass the associate and not especially in front of his wife who he knows is also annoyed.

Donna and Harvey walked out the elevator side by side.

"Be good" Donna warned Harvey. As annoyed as she is, she still wants Harvey to give the associate the benefit of the doubt.

Harvey rolled his eyes on her. "I'll try" He whispered before walking to his office.

"Is that your girlfriend, I have to say she's hot" The associate tailed him into his office.

"She's not my girlfriend" Harvey said with a straight face trying to be "good" because Donna said so. Without Donna's warning, he would've punched the guy already.

"Really? You think I have a chance with her"

The audacity of this guy to ask him, he thought himself. "Are you here to work for me or talk about my wife?!"

"Y- yo-your wife? I'm sorry I didn't know"

Nevertheless, the associate quit after a week. Now Mike would need to ask Donna's help to find Harvey another associate. Mike made a mental note to include in the orientation about the unspoken rule of Donna and Harvey's morning bubble.
