Morning Bubble (PART B)
The time both Harvey and Donna were silent were noticed by Rachel and Mike who they bumped into the lobby.
"Goodmorning lovebirds" Rachel said cheerfully. It was the same greeting she uses for the two. She usually gets a good morning back from them but this time both were silent and just looked at her. They all waited in silence for the elevator to come. Rachel and Mike was waiting in front of the elevator so they went in first and Donna and Harvey are now in front of them. Rachel looked at Mike with "what's going on look" and Mike just shrug his shoulders. Even the two employees who were at the elevator were aware that Donna and Harvey was being silent so both employees eyed Rachel and Mike with the same concern.
It was still Harvey and Donna though. Harvey still carries the two coffee in a tray which he always does, while Donna carries the morning newspaper and her purse.
Once they were all out the elevator, Harvey handed Donna her coffee and Donna handed Harvey the newspaper.
"Just tell me when you're done" Harvey said.
"Will do" Donna said and they both walked separately.
"Whose fault do you think it is?" Mike asked Rachel
"What makes you think they're fighting?"
"Are you serious?! Weren't you at the elevator? They weren't talking to each other!"
"Yeah you're right, they totally are fighting"
"Are you gonna ask Donna?"
"Are you gonna ask Harvey?"
"NO!"
"Exactly"
"Talking or not talking, they are not to be interrupted in the morning, noted!" Mike said.
"Good! You're still making use of your photographic memory. Now get that brain of yours to work!"
It doesnt matter whether they're having a conversation or not, there's the unspoken rule of not interrupting Donna and Harvey's morning bubble routine.
