Izzy Does It
North was seen sneaking out of the Brighthouse with a bag as the sun was just rising where Nemesis was outside waiting with him on the Denliner.
Nemesis: You ready?
North Star: Of course. It's Sunny's birthday and I want to get her a gift that means something.
Nemesis: *Sighs* You're just like Starkiller in more ways than one. Alright, get on. Next stop, Khandaq.
North looked back at the Brighthouse for a brief moment and took a deep breath and got onboard the Denliner as they left for Khandaq. Home of Black Adam.
After arriving at Khandaq, North turned into Kamen Rider Zi-O as they were standing before Black Adam.
Black Adam: And you couldn't do this at your home world because….?
North Star: I looked and I just couldn't find a gift for Sunny. So I thought maybe here could be a good place to make her a gift.
Nemesis: Just let the kid make a gift, Adam. It's not going to hurt anyone.
Black Adam: Very well. In fact, I know the right materials you can use. But you must earn them.
North Star: Earn them how?
Black Adam got off his throne and cracked his knuckles.
North Star: Oh…
Nemesis: Sometimes hard work makes a gift mean more.
North Star: Well, I want Sunny to know how much I care, so let's do it!
Black Adam: Under one condition, only one Rider form, and only use the powers you absorbed and copied from me. Your lucky I'm giving you a fighting chance
North Star: There's no need to go easy on me just because I'm a runt.
Black Adam: Very well. Go out into the deserts of Khandaq. I'll meet you there.
North left the palace as he flew to the desert with nothing but using Black Adam's powers leaving Nemesis with Black Adam.
Nemesis: Perfect. Not only will he get one of his girls a gift, but he'll learn a valuable lesson as well.
Black Adam: I will make sure he learns it.
Out in the desert sands of Khandaq, Black Adam was standing still with his arms crossed as he faced North.
North took off his Ziku Driver and turned back to normal as he placed on a new one.
North Star: Hope you don't mind. But I want to try this new power of mine.
North placed on the Driver
Driver: ENTRY…
Nemesis: That model…
North then brought out two buckles and attached them.
On his right was a purple caged buckle where on the left was a red motor buckle.
Driver: ZOMBIE. BOOST.
North Star: Hope you like this triple combo. SHAZAM HENSHIN!
A magic lightning bolt struck North as he became his Rider form.
North emerged from the light as he was now a new Rider.
Driver: DUAL ON! GET READY FOR ZOMBIE AND BOOST! READ, FIGHT!
The entire jumpsuit was black where he had purple armor where there were orange ribs on his chest and orange spikes on the shoulder as he had purple armor with spikes on his arms where his left hand was a giant claw with orange claws as he carried a chainsaw sword in his right.
His legs had parts of red armor around his knees and lower half of his legs where there were exhaust engines on the sides of his legs.
His helmet was white in the form of a fox mask with orange-red outlines where the visor was the same color with purple armor around the jaw.
North Star: Behold the might of Kamen Rider Geats!
North got into a stance as he was ready.
Nemesis: And…BEGIN!
Back in Maretime Bay, Sunny was seen finishing breakfast with Obsidia where the others were already out doing their thing.
Sunny: I wonder where North wandered off too. It's not like him to do that, especially on my birthday.
Obsidia: I'm sure he'll be back. If anything, Nemesis probably took him for special training. He does possess Black Adam's powers and the Sincario sword.
Sunny: *Chuckles* You're probably right.
Obsidia: He is training to become the next Dragon King after all.
Sunny: I'm curious, what is a Royal Dragon? They're not actual royalty or anything.
Obsidia: Well from what I know, the Royal Dragons are well known for their incredible power and pure hearts as well being one of the greatest defenders of all life.
Sunny: Sounds like a lot to deal with.
Obsidia: It does. But, if anything, our family can handle it no problem.
Sunny just smiled as she and Obsidia finished breakfast.
Outside the Brighthouse, Izzy was seen with a tower of recycling materials she stacked.
Izzy rummaged through it where she telekinetically took a wooden spatula and just jabbed the handle into the base of the stack.
Izzy: Now we're cooking!
Izzy just laughed where she jumped to the top of the stack as it wobbled where Zipp just flew around and wondered what Izzy was doing as Hitch walked up with the dragon on his back.
Zipp landed next to Hitch as they looked up at Izzy.
Hitch: Hey, Zipp, do you know what Izzy's doing up there?
Zipp: Not. A. Clue. Though have you seen North? He was gone this morning.
Hitch: Haven't seen him.
Zipp: I wonder where he went. Izzy, have you seen North?
Izzy: Nope! Not even a single speck of ice.
The baby dragon got off Hitch's back and ran up to the tower Izzy was on.
Zipp: Hitch, uh, what's your dragon doing?
The baby dragon then got onto the base of the tower.
Izzy: This is going to be the best birthday present for a friend I've ever made because I finally have a friend and it's her birthday! *Gasps* I also have a coltfriend! Which means I also get to make a birthday gift for him!
As Izzy was adjusting the tower, Zipp flew up with her phone and turned on the camera where she zoomed in on Izzy's cutie mark which was glowing.
Izzy then looked up and waved at Zipp only for the former to lose balance as the tower collapsed as the dragon fell on with a ball of yarn and rolled back.
Izzy screamed as she fell off.
Hitch: No!
Hitch's hooves then sparkled green as the flora magic where he started to slide towards Izzy as he caught her.
Zipp: *Sighs* More glowing cutie marks. And random Earth Pony plant magic. Also somepony's going to have to clean this up.
Hitch: *Sighs* Don't worry though, Izzy. You're safe now.
Izzy: I know.
Desna: Hey, ponies.
Des walked up to the Brighthouse as Izzy and Hitch got up.
Hitch: Morning, Des. What brings you here?
Desna: Have you seen Nemesis? He's not at the Nest.
Hitch: Can't say I have.
Zipp: Funny, we've been wondering where North wandered off too.
Desna: Hmmmm. Could explain why the Denliner is missing.
Zipp: Even the Taros are missing?
Desna: I can see why you're the investigator. Yes. And nopony else knows where they went. Perhaps you can look into their whereabouts, Zipp.
Zipp: I could do that.
Izzy: Has anypony seen my crafting glasses?
On cue, Izzy's glasses landed right on her just right as she was now wearing them.
Izzy: Double yes!
Hitch: I wish I could figure out earth pony magic. I don't like how crazy it is.
Out of nowhere, the baby dragon jumped onto Hitch's back and made the sheriff hit the ground.
Izzy: But not triple "yes". I didn't get to finish my amazing birthday tower of friendship for Sunny!
Izzy put her glasses away as a bracelet fell off the top of the pile and landed onto Izzy's horn.
Izzy: Accidentally awesome! It's perfect!
Desna: I don't know who's more lucky. North, or Izzy.
Zipp: They're both lucky.
Sunny and Obsidia were then seen exiting the Brighthouse.
Obsidia: Can somepony explain what shook the Brighthouse?
Izzy then went up to Sunny.
Izzy: Happy birthday, friend! And happy first-time-saying-happy-birthday-friend to me! I made you a present!
Izzy levitated the bracelet off her horn as she placed it into Sunny's hoof where the tie for the bracelet came undone and looked like a mane accessory.
Sunny: Aww, Izzy!
Sunny placed the bracelet-turned-mane accessory into the right side of her mane.
Sunny: This is the most amazing birthday present ever! I need to show it off! Wanna go to the Maretime Bay Craft Fair?
Izzy: With my friend on her birthday?! Of course I want to go to that!
The baby dragon ran by with a paint bucket over his head as Hitch knocked it off.
Hitch: Alright, you two have fun. Sparky and I will clean up all this.
Sparky just moaned and pouted as Sunny and Izzy ran off giggling.
Obsidia: Say Des, have you seen North? Is he with Nemesis?
Desna: No. Nemesis is missing too. Even the Taros and their Denliner.
Obsidia: Where in Equestria did they go?
Desna: No clue. Though North will be back before the day is over. Not like him to miss the birthday of one of his marefriends.
Des and Obsidia walked off leaving Hitch with Sparky.
Hitch: Oh come on! Aren't you two going to help?
Zipp hovered above Hitch with her phone recording.
Zipp: One case solved: Hitch is going to clean all this up.
Hitch: Zipp will help too, right Zipp?
Zipp landed down annoyed.
Zipp: Okay, fine. Reminder to Zipp: Leave and then take notes.
Back with Sunny and Izzy they were heading towards the Craft Fair as Obsidia and Des were following them.
Sunny: Thank you again, Izzy. I love this custom mane-cessory so much.
Izzy: And I didn't even know that's what it was. How awesome is that?
Sunny: Better than awesome. It's Izzy-tastic!
Both mares laughed where a slender blue unicorn mare was seen spying on them with binoculars.
This mare also had kinky navy blue and teal hair which swoops to her right as she has three cornrows on the left side of her scalp as she also had teal-green eyes and a long blue horn with a pink gradient towards the tip and pink swirls.
The mare also had freckles on her cheeks and a pink belly and pink fetlocks but she had NO cutie mark.
The mare brought out a portable flip mirro where the dark alicorn was seen communicating through it.
Mare: It's true. Magic has returned to Equestria like you said.
Dark Alicorn: Excellent. Then we shall proceed with our plan.
The mare closed the mirror and followed the ponies.
Back in Khandaq, North was punched away by Black Adam as he crashed into the ground.
North got up as he channeled the magic lightning into the chainsaw sword and fired a lightning slash which Adam deflected.
Black Adam: Is that the best you can do, boy?
North Star: Oh I got a trick up my sleeves.
North pressed down on the Driver where he spun it 180 degrees.
Driver: REVOLVE ON!
Circular gears appeared as North was lifted up where his body motioned apart like a machine where the top half was now Boost and the bottom half was now Zombie.
The visor lens were now yellow as he had red chest and shoulder armor along with the area below the elbows where there were nitro engines on his arms.
The leg armor was now covered in purple spiked armor where there were orange spikes on the knees as the orange claw was on his right foot.
North performed a powerful jump and did a Rider Kick as he used the engines on his arms for a boost in power where Black Adam countered with a powerful punch that created a shockwave that blew the sand beneath them away.
Nemesis: Crafty one, he is.
North jumped off Black Adam and performed a barrage of boosted punches where he sent Black Adam crashing down as North landed.
Adam slammed the ground and got himself back on his feet where he fired twin beams of lightning which North countered by doing an uppercut and creating a tornado of lightning which canceled out Black Adam's attack.
Black Adam: You are creative. But it won't be enough.
Black Adam clapped his hands and formed a shockwave which canceled out the tornado.
North got into a stance where he charged towards Black Adam as both sides clashed their fists.
Back in Maretime Bay, Izzy was amazed by all the craft tents set up and all the things they had where she bumped into Pipp who was on her phone.
Izzy: Oh! Pipp!
Pipp: Izzy!
Izzy: You knew about the craft fair, too?!
Pipp: It's the only place to be! That's what I've been saying on my socials.
Pipp then turned on the livestream and faced the camera.
Pipp: That's right, everypony! The Maretime Bay Mane Street craft fair is the only place to be for the hottest craftables, wearables, and snackables! Tell them, Izzy!
Pipp faced the camera towards Izzy.
Izzy: Couldn't say it better myself, 'cause I don't remember what you said!
Pipp ended the livestream.
Pipp: And post! So, are you here to shop, or browse, or–*Gasps* Oh, my hoofness!
Pipp flew over to Sunny's smoothie cart where she started another livestream showing Sunny's gift as the latter was putting a giant strawberry into her blender.
Pipp: What is Sunny wearing?
Izzy: The birthday present I made her! It was a bracelet, but she put it in her mane. So it's that now.
Pipp: It's everything! I'm calling it: this mane-cessory is the trend of the day.
Pipp continued her livestream.
Pipp: Come down to the craft-fair and get one for yourself, Pippsqueaks!
Pipp showed Sunny with her mane-cessory where she hoof-chopped the strawberry into the blender only for the earth mare to fall back as Pipp giggled.
Pipp: Look at all these likes, Izzy! And look at that.
Pipp showed Izzy the likes where there were several ponies lining up at Sunny's smoothie cart.
Izzy let out a nervous chuckle as she gulped.
Izzy: Wish North was here…
Unfortunately for North, he was seen exhausted where Black Adam was completely fine.
North Star: Come on…. I have to win this. Or else I won't have a gift for Sunny!
North charged towards Black Adam with a punch only for it to be blocked.
Black Adam: You are running out of tricks.
North then did a backflip as he kicked Black Adam under the jaw with the claw leg as North flew back.
North Star: Got him…
Black Adam recovered where he stared at North.
North Star: I'm ready for whatever you got Adam!
Adam just scoffed where he moved so fast, North couldn't see him move as Adam punched North in the gut so hard, the Dragon Prince had the wind knocked out of him.
North gripped his gut as he gasped for air as Black Adam slammed his fist down from above.
North crashed into the ground as sand was sent flying all over the place.
North got up as he was in pain from Black Adam's assault.
Black Adam: You are strong. And thanks to your absorb and copy, we are even in power. Except there is a difference between us.
North Star: And what's that?
Black Adam: Experience….
Black Adam charged towards North who got ready to defend himself.
Back in Maretime Bay, Hitch was seen with a napping Sparky on his back where he saw Saber Fruit.
Hitch: Hey, Saber. On your way to the craft fair?
Saber Fruit: I was. I was hoping I would find North there.
Hitch: Can't find him either?
Saber Fruit: Nope. Not even Nemesis or the Taros. And they stick like sore hooves. What are you doing coming back from the Brighthouse?
Hitch: Sparky Sparkeroni here needed a nap. So I left Zipp to clean up the mess he made while I put him to sleep.
Saber Fruit: Leaving a mare to do all the cleaning. Yeah, actions worthy of a sheriff. Bet Primrose would love to know that.
Saber just walked off leaving a confused Hitch.
Hitch: What does that mean?
At the craft fair, Sunny was seen running her smoothie cart only to be pulled down under the counter by Izzy.
Sunny: Izzy! What are you hiding?
Izzy: Shh! Pipp told everypony how great the gift I made for you is and now everypony wants one!
Sunny: Isn't that a good thing?
Izzy: No! I made that one for you. It was lightning in a glue bottle! What if I can't make another one?
Sunny: Aw, you don't have to be afraid to share your special talents with everypony!
Pipp then appeared over the counter.
Pipp: Right? We pegasi always say let your creativity fly! *Giggles* Come on, I'll show you.
Pipp pulled Izzy over the counter as they walked down Mane Street towards a stage.
Pipp: Oh you're overthinking it, Iz. You don't have to make anything new, just make the same thing, but better!
Izzy: Like… I just have to copy myself?
Pipp: Yeah, but add a twist! Like how North does that Shazam and Henshin thing of his. That's what I do with my songs.
Pipp flew up to the small stage as she played a song on her phone as three Pippsqueaks fillies, Seashell, Glory, and Peach Fizz gathered around.
# Pipp: First thing's first you gotta look for the spark. That bit of magic way deep down in your heart.
# Hey!
# Pipp: You gotta follow your beat!
Pipp flew over to a tent as she was given a red flower as Pipp then flew over to Seashell and placed it in her mane.
# Pipp: And then soon you will see! You won't have that far to go! Until your song starts to grow! All you need is your beat!
Pipp then flew over to Glory and Peach Fizz as she got them in sync with marching their hooves.
# Pipp: All you need is your groove! To get themes stompin their hooves! And then the next thing you'll know, imagination will grow! All you need is your beat! All you need is your beat! All you need is your beat!
# Ba-Da-da! Ba-Da-da!
Pipp landed on the stage as the music stopped where the ponies applauded.
Pipp: So? What do you think? Do you like the song?
Izzy: Pssh! Are you kidding?! It's exactly like the last one, but better!
Pipp: Yeah. What can I say? I know my brand.
Izzy: And now I know what I have to do. But I'm gonna need to go to the Crystal Brighthouse for supplies!
Pipp: Oh! I'll go too. I need to write a new hit.
Pipp and Izzy ran by Blaze and Fifi who were on a date at the craft fair and a cruising Duke as they went to the Brighthouse.
Shadox was seen at a craft tent where he was holding a box and opened it. Inside was a ring.
Nyx: What you got there uncle?
Shadox panicked and closed it.
Shadox: Nyx, please don't do that.
Nyx: Was that a wedding ring I saw?
Shadox: Um….
Nyx: Oh. My. Hoofness. You're going to propose to Amore!
Shadox: Yes but please keep it a secret. I want to do it later.
Nyx: These lips are sealed. Speaking of which, do you have any clue where uncle Nemesis went off too?
Shadox: No clue. Same goes with the Taros. And I learned North is also missing.
Nyx: North too? What happened to them?
Shadox: Well, wherever they are, let's hope they're okay.
Nyx: Yeah, you're right. Nemesis probably took North somewhere for special training that he needed the Taros to take him there.
They were wrong. Nemesis and the Taros were fine, but North was not.
Black Adam was seen slamming North all over the place as he tossed the Dragon Prince up and flew towards him and kneed North right in the gut.
Black Adam: Pathetic. SHAZAM!
A bolt struck down as Adam moved out of the way as it struck North and created a powerful explosion.
North got up as he struggled to stay on his feet.
North Star: I'm far from done…
North fired a powerful blast of lightning which Black Adam backhanded.
North Star: I…I have to… I have to win…
North channeled all the power he had into concentrated balls of lightning in both hands where he fired a powerful beam of magic lightning towards Black Adam.
Black Adam put his arms up to guard himself from the blast as he was pushed back.
The blast pushed Adam back far as it created a massive explosion that even knocked North off his feet as he fell back.
North Star: I did it…
North got only for a storm to form as Black Adam zoomed right back as his body was covered in lightning as his eyes glowed.
North was trembling in fear where he was about to get into a stance but then…
North Star: That's it.
North fell on his knees in defeat.
North Star: I give up. There's no way I can beat you. It's true we might be equal in power, but you're more experienced and far wiser. Those two advantages are more than enough for you to beat me. And with that, I give up. I guess…I'll have to return home without a gift for Sunny.
Nemesis walked up behind North as he nodded towards Black Adam who died down the lightning as the storm faded away.
Nemesis: Get up. Let's get that gift.
North Star: What? But I lost.
Nemesis: The point of this fight was to not win. Instead, it was when to know to accept defeat.
North Star: Huh?
Nemesis: There will be times where you have to accept defeat and know you can't win. A true hero knows when to truly call it quits when they know they'll lose. Only a moron would continue fighting.
North Star: What would happen if I didn't surrender?
Nemesis: Then I would've stopped you myself, and you would be truly going home without a gift for Sunny. Now get up. Let's get you cleaned up and get what you need to make that gift for Sunny.
Momotaros and Ryutaros helped North get up and walk as they returned back to the city of Khandaq.
Black Adam: He's a strong one.
Nemesis: He is.
Black Adam: Between you and me. That last attack could've helped him win. If he weren't so worn out, that attack would have weakened me.
Nemesis looked at North and smiled.
Nemesis: The future is more secure than I would have thought.
Black Adam and Nemesis followed the group back to Khandaq where at the Crystal Brighthouse, Pipp was seen on her laptop wearing headphones where she was trying to make a new song.
Pipp was singing and trying to get a rhythm but she couldn't get it right.
Pipp: That is not it. Ugh!
Pipp then heard her phone vibrate and answered it.
Pipp: Oh, oh, a message! I guess I can take a teensy break.
Pipp read through the messages as one said, "When's your next new hit drop?".
Pipp: Oh! I'll respond to that later. What I need now is a snack! Then, make the new hit, then respond.
Pipp flew down stairs where Izzy was at her little work space where the unicorn was seen struggling as Pipp flew up to her.
Pipp: What's up, Izzy?
Izzy: Oof! I can't decide what to make!
Pipp: Ah. I know what's wrong. You have creative block.
Izzy: *Gasps* Is it permanent?
Pipp: Well, lucky for you, I have the solution! You just need to listen to your fans and do what they want.
Izzy: Okay, that's, that's brilliant! Did you come up with that when you had creative block?'
Pipp: Me? I've never had creative block.
Izzy: Well if you ever do, then you should listen to yourself, because that totally helped. Now I just have to figure out how to bring all these supplies to the Craft Fair so I can find my inspiration from pony fans.
Out of nowhere, Izzy and Pipp heard the sound of the Denliner outside as it drove too close to the Brighthouse where it stopped just in front of the building.
Nemesis: You idiots almost hit the Brighthouse! You know what, just park the damn thing!
Pipp: North is here!
Izzy and Pipp ran outside where they saw Nemesis and North get off the Denliner as it drove off.
Izzy and Pipp got a good look and North and were shock where they saw he was all beaten up and covered in bruises with a bandage wrapped around his head.
Pipp: Oh my gosh! Babe!
Pipp ran up to North and got a close up.
Pipp: What happened to you?!
North Star: Well, you see, um…
Nemesis: He fought Black Adam.
Pipp: Black Adam?! But doesn't he live in another world or something?
Nemesis: Where else would we go? We went to Khandaq.
Pipp: Why were you at Khandaq? All of us were wondering where you were.
North Star: Sorry that I made you all worry. It's just, I couldn't find something to give Sunny as a gift for her birthday so I went to Nemesis to see if he could convince Black Adam to let me go to Khandaq so I can make a gift for Sunny there.
Izzy: Aw… You're willing to go that far just to make a gift?
North Star: Of course. This is a way of showing how much I care for you girls.
Pipp and Izzy were touched as they nuzzled up to him where he winced in pain.
North Star: Careful, not everything is healed.
Nemesis: I know what can help you. Stay here.
Nemesis teleported leaving North with the mares.
North Star: So, what did I miss?
Pipp: Nothing much. I'm making a new hit.
Izzy: And I have creative block. Luckily Pipp gave me the advice to listen to pony fans. Which is better than the fans I pained with ponies on them.
North Star: Listening to the fans…. That's actually smart Pipp. You should listen to your own advice.
Izzy: That's what I said!
Pipp took a moment to think to herself and then…
Pipp: Listen to myself… That's it! I gotta go to the place that makes my heart sing to find my sound!
Pipp flew off singing as she went into town.
Izzy: Oh, North! I need your help carrying my supplies to the Craft Fair. You got the strength to do that?
North Star: You kidding? I got beaten up by Black Adam just to look like this. I can handle it.
North levitated all of Izzy's things as they headed down to the craft fair.
When Nemesis got back, North and Izzy were gone.
Nemesis: Damn kid. I told him to stay here.
Nemesis was seen holding a single bean that was green.
Down at Mane Street, North levitated all of Izzy's things down at a table so she could do her work.
North Star: Alright, that oughta do it.
Sunny: North?
North turned around and saw Sunny who was facing him.
North Star: Hey, Sunny…
Sunny looked at North and saw how beaten up he was.
Sunny: What happened to you?
North Star: Nothing too bad. I just had to fight Black Adam, that's all.
Sunny: You fought Black Adam?! What were you thinking?!
North just breathed and brought out a small wrapped gift.
North Star: This is what I was thinking. In order to get the materials to make your gift, I had to pass a test that Nemesis and Adam set up.
Sunny: You mean you did all that… for me?
North Star: Of course. It's your birthday and I want this gift to mean something.
North gave Sunny the gift.
North Star: Happy Birthday, Sunny.
Sunny unwrapped the gift where there was a small box which she flipped open where there was a golden sunflower with a black diamond in the shape of a star in the middle.
Sunny: Wow. It's-
North Star: Ah, hold on.
North walked behind Sunny and levitated the sunflower which revealed it was a necklace as North placed it around Sunny's neck.
North Star: What do you think?
Sunny: I think…it's beautiful…
North hugged Sunny from behind only for Nemesis to ruin it as he appeared in front of them.
Nemesis: There you are! I told you to wait for me!
North Star: Sorry! Izzy needed help and-
Nemesis flung the bean he had into North's mouth who ate it.
North Star: A raw bean?
Nemesis: A Senzu Bean.
All of a sudden, all of North's injuries were healed up.
North Star: My wounds…they're…
Nemesis: You're welcome.
Nemesis left them as he teleported.
North took off the bandage that was wrapped around his head.
Sunny: So, guess I can do this.
Sunny kissed North where Izzy came up and kissed him on the nose.
Izzy: I can't wait for my birthday so I can see what you'll make for me!
North just chuckled.
Down at the Nest, HQ to the heroes, Shadox was holding the wedding ring he plans to propose to Amore with where Nyx was annoyed.
Nyx: Uncle Shadox. It's easy. Just go up to her, get down on your knees, show the ring, and ask the question.
Shadox: It's not that easy, Nyx.
Nyx: Okay, either you propose to Amore before the day ends, or else I will force you.
Shadox: Okay, I will! In fact, at Sunny's birthday party, I will propose to her there!
Nyx: You better. Or I will put you in a situation where you'll have no choice but to propose.
Back at the craft fair, Izzy was making a mane-cessory for a stallion.
Izzy: And ta-dah!
Izzy gave it to the stallion who wasn't impressed.
Stallion: Eh. This isn't the special thing you made before. I'm gonna pass.
The stallion gave back the mane-cessory and walked off only to be met with a growl by North where he whimpered away as the Dragon Prince walked up to Izzy.
North Star: Ignore that loser. He doesn't know what he's missing out on.
Izzy: I don't know North. I'm just not feeling it. No. It's not about me. I gotta make stuff to please everypony else!
Izzy levitated the balls of yarn she had where she then wandered all and came back with a bunch of supplies.
Sunny who was running her smoothie cart noticed this and walked up to her and North as Izzy placed everything down as she was slumped over the table.
Sunny: Is everything okay?
North Star: I can sense stress and anxiety from her. You tell me.
Izzy then got up and faced Sunny.
Izzy: Uh, do I look desperate?!
Izzy just stared at North and Sunny as her eye twitched.
Sunny: A little!
North Star: And I do sense anxiety. Lots of it.
Izzy: Good, because I am super desperate! And I have no idea what I'm doing! I mean, even my poles aren't towers anymore! Doesn't that say it all?
Sunny: Don't you see? Nopony does it like Izzy does it!
Izzy: Making mess of things?
North Star: No! She means that you can dream up incredible creations because of who you are deep down. Just dig deep and go back to your roots.
Izzy then gasped in excitement.
Izzy: Sweet sauce horseshoe toss! Are you two saying what I think you two are saying?
North Star: Uh…
Sunny: I…
North & Sunny: Yes. Yes, we are!
Izzy laughed with joy.
Izzy: Thanks, Sunny. Thanks, North. You two are the best. Also: Happy birthday, friend! Oh, that is so fun to say.
Izzy levitated her things as she walked off smiling.
Back at the smoothie cart, the same mysterious mare was sneaking around as Sunny had her back turn where the mare took her small mirror which was wrapped with a ribbon and placed it on the counter and snuck off.
At Mane Melody, Seashell, Glory, and Peach Fizz were looking through the window trying to see Pipp work as Jazz and Rocky stood in front of them.
Jazz Hooves: The Pippsqueaks are waiting!
Rocky: But we can't rush her process!
Pipp was seen going through her phone trying to come up with a song.
Pipp: Ooh, how about a power ballad?! No, that'll never work! Oh no, oh no!
Pipp started to panic as she started to pant heavily.
Pipp: I'm finally out of hits!
Somewhere in the outskirts of Equestria was a dark castle where in the throne room was the dark alicorn who has been spying on them where the same unicorn arrived.
Dark Alicorn: So nice of you to come home, Misty. You've been gone so long I thought you got lost… like the time I rescued you as a filly! So kind of me to do that.
The alicorn got off her throne as Misty walked up to her and walked around her.
Dark Alicorn: Well, what have you found?
Misty: Uh, uh I think… the stronger magic has something to do with the Cutie Marks, Opaline!
Opaline: Don't "think", you sound foolish!
Misty: Maybe… if I had one I could figure it out and–
Opaline then got in front of Misty's face full of anger.
Opaline: Enough! How could the magic have anything to do with Cutie Marks?
Misty: They glow when it happens! And the Earth Ponies, they can control the plants!
Opaline: Hmm.
Opaline walked up to the pool of water that was in the throne room where none other than Goldheart walked in.
Goldheart: Well, well. Look who finally decided to come back. Offer still stands, you know.
Misty: I am not interested in you!
Goldheart: Come on, I'm the only stallion you'll get close too. Unlike our queen's secret weapon.
Opaline: Enough, Goldheart.
Opaline's horn glowed as the pool started to glow.
Opaline: New magic? Well then… Even more reason to begin the plan. And when we're done… you, Misty, will get your Cutie Mark. And you Goldheart, will have your revenge on that so-called Dragon Prince.. And I'll be even more powerful than I was before!
Opaline let out an evil laugh as the scene changed back to Maretime Bay when Sunny noticed the hoofheld mirror.
Sunny: Aw, Pipp must have left me a surprise birthday gift!
Sunny took off the ribbon as she returned to the Brighthouse.
Sunny later arrived at the Brighthouse with her smoothie wagon with North and Obsidia where Zipp was outside looking at a note on the door.
Sunny: Hey, Zipp! What's that?
The trio walked up to Zipp.
Zipp: Izzy left a note: "B.R.B" Uhh… "F.B.B.B." What do you think that means?
North took the note and looked at it.
North Star: Obviously B.R.B means "Be Right Back" but I got no clue what the rest means.
Obsidia: Maybe Izzy got inspired again.
Blaze Chaser: Inspired again? What you mean by that?
The ponies looked back and saw the other heroes heading up.
Obsidia: Izzy was having a hard time getting inspired today.
Saber Fruit: Bummer. So where do you think she went?
Izzy was seen walking down the path as she was heading to Bridlewood.
Izzy: North and Sunny were right! All I need to do to find my creativity again is go back to my roots. Tree roots! To Bridlewood!
Izzy trotted down the path as she continued heading towards her birth home.
Izzy: This is great! Yeah. Nothing like a Creative Walk to cure Creative Block!
Izzy halted herself as she chuckled.
Izzy: Fresh air! Fluffy clouds! Birds…
A bird then landed on a branch where there was a cloud that looked like a hat and the bird was wearing it.
Izzy: Birds! Bird hats! Hats for birds?
The bird just chirped and flew off.
Izzy: Yeah, you're right. That is not it.
Izzy just looked down and continued walking only to bonk her head on something which knocked off her crafting glasses as she fell back with a thud.
Izzy rubbed her head as she got up.
Izzy: Oh no, another creative roadblock!
Izzy grabbed her glasses and put them back on where she saw that she hit her head on a rusted three-wheeler moped.
Izzy: Whoa! I mean, I mean, oh yes!
Izzy's cutie mark started to glow and sparkle as she framed the moped with her hooves.
Izzy: An actual roadblock! I can work with that!
Izzy levitated the moped up but then dropped it where she levitated it up again and moved it away.
Back at the Brighthouse, everypony was gathered inside. Even Gaia manifested out of North to join them as the latter, Shadox, and Sunny were helping Zipp pick up Izzy's things.
Zipp: You three didn't have to help me clean up Izzy's stuff.
Sunny: Oh we don't mind. We were able to spend time with you!
North Star: It's better when you have help and spend time with the ones you care about. Right, Shadox?
Shadox was looking at the ring box he had where North tapped his helmet.
North Star: Equestria to Shadox, am I right?
Shadox: What? Oh, yes! It is better to have help and spend time with the ones you care for.
Duke Venture: Okay, the knight has been spacing out all day. What's wrong with him?
Nemesis: That is something personal he is dealing with.
Crystal: Personal?
Ryutaros: What does he have that's personal? He has no body.
Momotaros just whacked Ryutaros on the back of the head.
Momotaros: You don't have to be rude about it!
The two Taros started to fight as Hitch helped pick up.
Hitch: Does anypony know where Izzy is? She should be the one to pick up her own stuff.
Obsidia: No clue. All she left was a note.
Obsidia gave Hitch the note as he read it.
Hitch: "B.R.B.F.B.B.B."? What?
Zipp: Sometimes, Izzy's a total mystery.
Nemesis: You should've met and known Pinkie Pie. She's nothing but a mystery. Everything she did was a mystery.
Shadox: Sometimes I wonder if she was even normal.
Nemesis: Don't say that. Nothing that happens to us is normal. Let alone our daily lives.
Blaze Chaser: Maybe we should learn how to speak Izzy code. That way we can understand her notes.
The others laughed as Gaia stepped up.
Gaia: Perhaps it's best if a few of us go check on her to see if she needs help.
North Star:Okay then. Gaia, you, me, and Des will go look for her.
Desna: Why me?
North Star: Because you have sharp eyes.
Desna: That's his answer.
Before they were about to leave, Pipp flew through the door in distress as she landed in front of them.
Pipp: I feel terrible! I gave bad advice to Izzy!
Sunny: You were only trying to help a friend. I'm sure she will come back soon.
Pipp: Oh no! She's not here? She's probably avoiding me…
The doors opened again where it was Izzy who opened them this time.
Izzy: So it turns out bird hats are not a thing, but guess what I made!
Everypony: Izzy!
Izzy chuckled as Sparky ran up to her and hugged her.
Izzy: No, I didn't make Izzy, sillies. I am Izzy.
Sunny: Where have you been?
Izzy: Didn't you read my note?
Obsidia brought up the note.
Pipp: "B.R.B.F.B.B.B."?!
Izzy: "Be right back from Bridlewood, Best Buddies!"
North Star: Told you it was a "Be Right BacK" note.
Obsidia: Oh go get beat up by Black Adam again.
Izzy: I realized I had to be more creative about being creative! And I needed more supplies.
Pipp: So it wasn't something I said?
Izzy: It was everything you said. You three taught me that in order to feel all sparkly and creative, I just need to be Izzy!
North, Sunny, & Pipp: We did?
Izzy then eyes Zipp and Hitch
Izzy: And you two also made me realize I had outgrown that little closet.
Zipp: We didn't mean to say you weren't welcome, Izzy.
Hitch: We just didn't like all your junk everywhere!
Urataros just backhanded Hitch on the back of the head.
Hitch: Sorry.
Ryutaros: Stupid.
Izzy: You ponies were right. My style was cramped, and so it cramped yours too. Sometimes a pony needs open spaces for maximum craftability. Look!
Izzy guided the others outside with Sparky on her back.
Izzy: Presenting… Izzy Does It, does it, does it!
Izzy has shown that she took the old moped she found and turned it into a wagon scooter.
Pipp: I love it! Ah! It's perfection, like wow! *Giggles* Wait, what is it?
Izzy then hopped on her scooter.
Izzy: My Unicycling Cart!
Izzy then showed off the back trailer which held all her things and even a popout table.
Izzy: My trailer of treasures! My wagon of whimsy! My–
Sunny: Carriage of creativity?
Izzy: Boom! Zing! You got it!
The others laughed where Pipp noticed a sash full of pockets.
Pipp: Ooh. What's this?
Izzy then put on the sash.
Izzy: My Crafty-Sash! Glasses? Check! Tape? Check! Glitter? Whoo! A-check!
Izzy brought out a pile of glitter and tossed into the air as the sun shined down upon it.
Izzy then showed a portrait of cut paper that looked like Hitch and Sparky
Izzy: And a lot of other things I need on the go. Or on the stay.
Izzy placed the portrait down where Sparky got excited and ran up to it.
Pipp: So cool! I need to post about this.
Izzy then gasped and went up to Pipp.
Izzy: Pipp! You just inspired me.
Izzy took Pipp's phone and ran off.
Hitch: You inspired her to steal?!
Izzy: I'm just borrowing!
Hitch: That's okay, then.
Sunny: Yeah it is. Everything's okay.
Shadox: No. Not yet.
Shadox went up to Amore.
Shadox: Amore, ever since Sombra separated us, I've felt like there has been a hole in my heart. One that could never be filled. I always hoped that one day we would be reunited. And here we are. I was going to ask you when that day happened. So I'm going to try again.
Shadox got down on his knees and showed the ring where Amore gasped.
Shadox: Amore, will you marry me?
Amore shed tears of joy as she smiled.
Amore: Of course! I waited so long for you to ask me!
Shadox levitated the ring onto Amore's horn as they embraced as the crowd clapped for them.
Pipp: Aw…So romantic.
Obsidia: So beautiful.
Sunny: So cute. Oh, Pipp! I almost forgot. Thank you for the mirror! I love the Alicorn design.
Pipp: Mirror?
Sunny: The one you left at my cart this morning!
Sunny showed the mirror to Pipp who let out an awkward chuckle.
Pipp: Oh, oh right! That one! Yeah! Yeah, yeah. Uh Happy Birthday, Sunny.
Zipp brought out her phone.
Zipp: Note to self: Pipp forgot something she bought? Suspicious.
Nemesis who heard this, also grew suspicious.
Nemesis: (The way Zipp said that, sounds like Pipp always remembers what she buys. If that's the case, who left the mirror?)
Zipp and Pipp walked up to Sunny.
Pipp: Well, try it out, Sunny!
Sunny opens the mirror as the three look into the reflection.
Sunny: Looks great!
Izzy and Hitch then appeared in the reflection as they laughed.
Unaware to them, Opaline was spying on them through the mirror.
Opaline: So these are the weak little ponies that brought back magic?
Misty: Almost like anypony could do it.
Opaline: Sure. If they have a Cutie Mark.
Misty flinched as she got upset knowing she didn't have a cutie mark.
Sunny: North, what do you think?
The image then showed North and Obsidia.
North Star: I say we look great.
Obsidia: Great? More like, ravishing~!
Obsidia and North flared their wings up which Opaline noticed.
Opaline: No! Impossible! I thought I saw the last of that family!
North Star: What you think, Nemesis?
The image then showed Nemesis where the newlyweds were behind him.
Nemesis: I think we're heroes. Not models.
Nemesis then looked into mirror.
Nemesis: Though I got to admit, this thing knows how to show off my goodside.
Opaline: Nemesis and Shadox?! How are they still alive?!
Sunny then closed the mirror as the image changed to showing just the Brighthouse.
Opaline: What?! No! Why did it stop?!
Misty: They went inside. Maybe the Crystal Brighthouse won't let us watch?
Opaline: Did you just make that up?
Misty: I was just guessing…
Opaline: Well stop, because you don't know what you're talking about! They must have put a cloaking enchantment on the Brighthouse…
Misty: Like the one that used to be around Equestria?
Opaline: If it won't let me see the inside from here… then one of my allies must find a way in.
Misty: Me?
Opaline: Don't be presumptuous, Misty. It's unbecoming.
Back at the Brighthouse, everyone was celebrating Sunny's birthday who squealed in excitement.
Sunny: This has been the best birthday in moons. Thanks, everypony. And I'm so happy Izzy's back and inspired again!
Pipp: So am I! *Sighs* But there's still one problem…
Hitch & North: What's that?
North Star: JINX!
Hitch: Man…
Pipp: I haven't figured out my new hit song. It just hasn't clicked.
Izzy then burst through the doors with Pipp's phone on a record player.
Izzy: Pipp! Try this out.
Pipp flew over and tapped her phone's screen where her old song started to play, but it was different.
Pipp: Izzy– it's my old song, but it's…
Izzy: Oh yeah!
Pipp: Unicycled? Um, genius!
Izzy: Sing it, Pipp!
Pipp took the mic as she started to fly and sing as the others got up and started to dance.
