Raging Demon Awakens! Clash of Darkness
North was sleeping in his sleeping bag where his phone vibrated as he grabbed it.
North saw it was over 8 in the morning as he answered it.
North Star: Hello?
Desna: North, it's Des. We need you at New Canterlot, fast.
North Star: Why?
Desna: Get here and you'll find out.
North hung up as he yawned and stretched as he stepped over the mares trying not to wake them up.
North grabbed his things but unbeknownst to him, he accidentally knocked Sunny's lantern into his bag as he left a note and flew out the window.
North got to New Canterlot and headed inside only to hear a loud argument upstairs coming from Nemesis' office.
North flew up as he saw everyone outside.
North Star: What's going on?
Desna: Nemesis and Ebony are arguing like crazy.
North Star: How long?
Duke Venture: For over half an hour.
Blaze Chaser: Ebony actually knows a spell that can literally bring the dead back to life and suggested it to Nemesis to bring back their lost friends.
Saber Fruit: But Nemesis said no and said that death is a part of life and can't be messed with.
Obsidia Scream: Who knew Nemesis would be the one to say that.
North Star: And did the idea of actually bringing dad back cross your mind, sis? Because it just did with me.
Obsidia Scream: Yeah, it has, but you know Nemesis is right.
North knew what his sister said was indeed right. While Nemesis is a bit destructive, grumpy, and sometimes insane, but the old warrior has been around longer than anyone and knew his words were more correct than anything.
Nemesis: The answer is still no!
Ebony: You really want to keep our friends dead! You never got the chance to say goodbye to them!
Nemesis: And I live to regret it, but it's still no! And don't even think of guilt tripping me by bringing up Twilight, Shadox already told what happened to her!
Ebony: If you won't side with me, then I'll convince the others!
Nemesis: By all means, the moment I notice you performing that spell, I will be there before you can even light that horn of yours!
Ebony: Go ahead and try! I'll send your flank packing for the next 1000 years!
Nemesis: You really think you can beat me?! You know what, forget it! GET OUT! And you idiots outside, STOP EAVESDROPPING!
Duke Venture: RUN!
Everypony and creature ran off except Shadox, Amore, Nyx, and North as Ebony stormed out of the office all flustered with rage.
Ebony: Be that way! I thought you cared for our friends but I guess you're still as coldhearted as back then! If not, you're even worse now!
Ebony teleported away as North, Shadox, Nyx, and Amore walked in as Nemesis was sitting at his desk.
North Star: I suppose you're canceling training today.
Nemesis: I need some time to clear my head. In fact, why not practice using Black Adam's powers more. You need some work on that stuff. Shadox, take him somewhere that's open and has lots of space.
Shadox: Very well, I know the proper place to go.
Amore: I hope you don't mind me coming with you two.
Shadox: Not at all. If North doesn't mind.
North Star: She can come if she wants.
Nemesis: Good. Now get out. I need alone time.
Shadox controlled the shadows as he warped them all somewhere else.
Now alone, Nyx was about to say something but stopped herself as she left Nemesis.
Nemesis just let out a deep sigh as he looked at a picture of him and his friends from back then.
Nemesis: Ebony should know I do care. It's just that I decided to let go.
Ebony was back in Harmonia as she was just eating at a food cart.
Ebony: He just doesn't understand! If I use that spell to bring back our old friends we would not just have them back but a lot more help now!
Ebony finished eating the noodle bowl as she paid and left.
Ebony continued walking where none other than RIver Harmony and Ocean Rose walked up to her.
River: Hello, Chieftess. Why so down? It's not like you to behave that way.
Ebony: It's Nemesis! He's so… so… GRRR!
Ocean Rose: I told ya! That so-called ancestor is a troublemaker! I read his history and he is nothing but trouble!
River: Mom! Please, you know North looks up to him and you know it's been over 1000 years since then.
Ocean Rose: What does my grandson see in that psychopath?
River: Well if you recall, while growing up, out of all the stories of the ancestors that he was told, North really liked the Trinity. The story of Starkiller, Nemesis, and Iceberg. He would ask for that story several times. He looked up to those three.
Ebony: Really?
River: Yes. He always wished that he was born 1000 years ago just so he could meet them. And look at him right now. He got his wish and met one of his heroes.
Ebony: I'm surprised he accepted Nemesis' brutal behavior.
River: Well you can thank his dad for telling him about how every hero is different and that each hero fights a different way. But I think what he really adored about them was how Nemesis and the others always had each other's backs, no matter what.
Ebony: They were truly united and took that unity to the next level whenever things got intense.
River: Now I am aware about how Nemesis behaves, but even I know he has a good heart just from the legend he left before he vanished.
Ebony calmed down and smiled.
Ebony: Thanks for the talk. I believe I must leave.
The mares bowed to each other as Ebony left Harmonia and went outside the border as she was walking through the forest.
Ebony: You know what, forget what Nemesis says. I know he means well in his own rude way, but if I do bring them back, we will rid Opaline once and for all. And to see my sister again…
Out in an open field, North became Zi-O as Shadox was Calibur where North was using Black Adam's powers and sparring with the Shadow Knight.
North fired a beam of magic lightning where Shadox deflected it with his own hand.
Shadox: I can tell you're holding back. Why? You're not going to get stronger if you keep doing that.
North Star: I looked more into Black Adam's powers. I'm holding back just for the safety of Equestria so I don't cause any unnecessary destruction.
Shadox: (He's just like Star in more ways than one. He even acts like Braveheart.)
Amore: Don't worry. Shadox has fought Black Adam and knows how to deal with that kind of power. So don't worry bout a thing.
Shadox: Amore's right. So let it all out.
North Star: Well if you say so.
North gathered magic lightning in his hands and started to charge up where Shadox stopped him.
Shadox: Instead of charging up, let all your power out instead of just doing your best to keep it in. In other words, when you tap into Black Adam's powers, let it all out from the exit point you choose.
North Star: Alright.
North channeled the magic lightning into his hands and fired where he unleashed a massive beam of energy which caught Shadox off guard.
Shadox: (That power!)
Shadox channeled his own energy into his right fist as it glowed red where he punched the attack and canceled it out where it created a powerful shockwave that covered the planet.
The entire planet shook from the shockwave as all of Equestria went into a panic.
At Mane Melody, Pipp and her staff were trying to calm their customers as Pipp was catching any products that were falling off the shelves.
Pipp: What is going on?!
Sunny was hiding under her counter in her smoothie cart to take shelter.
Sunny: An earthquake in Maretime Bay?!
Hitch was holding Sparky tight where he and the critters were under his desk.
Hitch: Impossible! We never had earthquakes before!
At the Brighthouse, Zipp and Izzy were catching everything that was fragile as it was falling.
Zipp: Have you experienced earthquakes in Bridlewood?!
Izzy: No! You?!
Zipp: Never!
At Zephry Heights, Haven was hugging Cloudpuff tight as she sat on her throne.
Haven: Stay close to mommy, Cloudpuff!
At Bridlewood, Alphabittle was catching all his teacups and teapots that were falling off the shelves.
Alphabittle: I hope this never happens again!
Down at Opaline's Castle, Opaline was holding onto her throne tight.
Opaline: What. Is. HAPPENING?!
Opaline's magic pool showed what was the source of the shockwave where it revealed North.
Opaline: The Dragon Prince?!
Down at New Canterlot, Nemesis was holding tight onto his desk where the entire shaking stopped.
Nemesis: Don't tell me…
Nemesis grabbed his phone and called Shadox who immediately answered.
Nemesis: Explain!
Shadox: Okay, so I sort of told North to go all out and-
Nemesis: Telling him that is basically telling him to destroy the planet!
Shadox: How should I know this would happen?!
Nemesis: You know what kind of potential he has! This whole incident should have been obvious! How about you take it one but at a time, before you unleash full power!
Nemesis hung up and went outside to comfort the panicked citizens.
Nemesis: Everypony calm down! Everything is under control!
Haven: Then explain what just happened!
Haven and Alphabittle hurrited to Maretime Bay as Phyllis was with them.
Nemesis: Just relax! Just North unleashing his power, that's all!
Alphabittle: This was the kid's doing?!
Nemesis: Yes, now calm down! I've already got everything ready to sort out, now if you all remain calm, we can fix this!
Sprout: You know what I think, I think we should do something about North!
Des turned into Cross-Z and punched Sprout in the head to keep him quiet.
Desna: Continue!
Nemesis: North meant no harm, ponies! Just training that has backfired, that's all! Now return to your everyday lives as I sort this out!
The ponies started to walk off as Nemesis was feeling his knees get weak.
Nemesis: (I knew the kid had power. But to think he had THIS much… it even scares me…)
Zipp: Nemesis!
Zipp flew up to the God of Darkness as she was followed by the rest of the Mane 5 and heroes in training.
Zipp: If we heard you right, did you say that was all North's doing?
Nemesis: Afraid so.
Zipp: Well, not to add more pressure to you but I think it's time I come clean.
Nemesis: About what?
Zipp: Sunny's Lamp is missing!
Nemesis turned white where he….
Nemesis: W H A T?!

Nemesis grabbed Desna telekinetically and pulled him in.
Nemesis: You and the others find that lamp!
Desna: You got it! I mean, Yes Sir!
Nemesis dropped Des where the sky suddenly started to morph as the stars started to shine.
Nemesis: You have got to be kidding.
Nemesis called Shadox again.
Nemesis: Shadox, explain the sky.
Shadox: Not us this time. You don't think…
Nemesis: I'll call you back…
Nemesis hung up and tossed his phone to Nyx where the ground started to shake.
Nemesis: Ebony….
Nemesis' body bursts into flames as he shapeshifts into something never seen before.
Nemesis now had a humanoid body like he was a Kamen Rider but except he was wearing his jacket and black pants and black leather boots and fingerless gloves as he had peach skin and his hair was from magenta and now solid purple.
Nemesis: I TOLD HER NO!
Nemesis' body was covered in energy as he took off as the shockwave blew the ponies back where the God of Darkness flew off.
Hitch: Is it me, or is Nemesis extra scary today?
Nemesis was seen flying through the air where he landed in the old abandoned city of Canterlot and made his way to the cemetery and found the grave of a certain mare.
Down in Ponyville, Ebony was standing in front of town hall where she turned around and saw Nemesis.
Ebony: Had a feeling you would show up.
Nemesis: I told you I would stop you if you attempted to use that spell.
Nemesis' fists started to glow with energy.
Nemesis: And I will do just that…
Nemesis got into a martial arts stance as Ebony got into her own stance.
As both of them faced each other, everything flashbacked to over 1000 years ago when they were younger.
G4 Nemesis: So, you said you'll get stronger than me?
G4 Ebony: Yes! Just you wait! One of these days, I'll be the stronger hero of darkness!
G4 Nemesis: Well for your own term, it's the heroine of darkness, but heck. I like to see you try.
The flashback ended as it was the present.
Nemesis: (And now it's time to see if you have achieved that power.)
Both Nemesis and Ebony stared at each other where the wind blew off a leaf from a tree.
The leaf fell slowly towards the ground as neither side moved.
The very moment the leaf touched the ground, both Nemesis and Ebony charged towards each other.
Nemesis threw out a fist where Ebony unleashed a pulse of magic to repel it where Nemesis teleported to her side and kneed her in the gut.
Nemesis grabs one of Ebony's legs and throws her as he flies after her.
Ebony recovered and used her wings to fly towards Nemesis where she blinded him with her own teleportation as she appeared behind him.
Ebony fired a beam of magic towards Nemesis who spun around fired energy beams from his eyes to counter.
The two beams canceled each other out where Nemesis teleported behind Ebony and put her in a hold as energy started to surge from his body.
Nemesis: You never should have gone behind my back!
Nemesis released the energy into a massive explosion where Ebony started to fall only for Nemesis to appear and kick her in the ribs and send her crashing into the Everfree Forest.
As Ebony got up, Nemesis teleported above her with a drop kick.
Ebony barely dodged the attack as it destroyed the ground.
Nemesis was about to move only to discover his foot was stuck.
Nemesis: Crap!
Ebony took advantage of Nemesis' problem and blasted him with a beam of magic where she formed a magic construct of a chimera as it charged towards Nemesis.
Nemesis grabbed hold of the two chimera heads where the head on the tail lashed towards him only for the God of Darkness to form a claw that grew out of his back as it grabbed the third head.
Nemesis then tore the construct apart by pulling on the heads where he then took a deep breath and unleashed a powerful fire breath attack.
Ebony fired a powerful blast of magic to overpower the fire breath as Nemesis jumped up to dodge it only for Ebony to ram into Nemesis' gut as he was sent flying back.
Ebony flew behind Nemesis and kicked him right in the back.
Nemesis grit his teeth as his eyes flared as he let out a powerful yell which was capable of blowing Ebony back.
Nemesis turned around and grabbed Ebony by the face and dove down about to slam her into the ground where the mare's body started to glow as she released her magic into a powerful burst forcing Nemesis to let go as the God of Darkness was pierced by beams of magic as he flew back.
As the magic light faded, Ebony's appearance changed. Her fur was darker where her mane and tail were similar to Luna's.
Nemesis: I see you've gotten a new form.
Ebony: My Cosmic Star form. A power that could rival mine and Lucky's fusion.
Nemesis regenerated his body from his wounds as he cracked his neck.
Nemesis: Well then, let me show you a new form of mine.
Nemesis' own energy surrounded him where it became a menacing purple as he let out a ferocious yell as a burst of light formed from his body.
The light died down where Nemesis' hair was now the same menacing purple as his aura.
Nemesis: Ultra Ego. Granting full on access to the powers of a God of Destruction. Now, let's see how strong you've truly gotten.
Both charged towards each other only for reality to shatter as they were stuck in between worlds as they flew around clashing blow by blow.
The two clashed again where they were in a futuristic city where it was ruled by a robot emperor where they clashed again and ended up in another world as a martial artist with a red head band was seen in the distance.
Nemesis and Ebony clashed a third time and were in a realm of dragons where Nemesis grabbed Ebony by her mane and tossed her and fired an energy beam towards her.
Ebony recovered in mid-flight and fired a beam of magic where they broke reality again and ended up in the zone between worlds again.
Nemesis: Not bad. Back then you never did this much.
Ebony: Glad you're impressed.
Nemesis: Yeah well, impressing me won't change my mind.
Nemesis charged towards Ebony and rammed into her where his own speed broke through reality again where they ended up on a planet as they crashed into a factory as certain orbs rolled all over the floor.
As Ebony got up, Nemesis grabbed an orb and casted lightning magic from it.
Ebony formed a barrier to block it as she kicked several orbs towards Nemesis who dodged them only for Ebony to blast him with dark magic.
Nemesis crashed into a wall as he grabbed a piece of the wall and threw it towards Ebony.
Ebony ducked down only for Nemesis to punch her in the face as they broke reality and left where a blonde man with a giant sword came in with a group and saw the mess.
Nemesis and Ebony entered another world where they crashed into a bunch of police cars chasing a group of anthropomorphic thieves where they broke reality again and left.
Back in the realm between worlds, Nemesis kneed Ebony in her stomach and made her lose her breath.
Nemesis: You might've gotten more experienced and stronger. However…
Nemesis slammed his fists down on top of Ebony as she fell down only for Nemesis to appear under her and land a powerful uppercut under her jaw as reality broke again where they ended up in a city at night where Ebony was sent flying upwards.
Nemesis: You will never match me!
Nemesis flew after her and elbowed her with enough force to break more of reality and sent them away as four mutant turtles saw them.
Mutant turtle: Dudes, tell me I'm not the only one who saw that?
Back in the realm between worlds, Nemesis grabbed hold of Ebony's mane and looked her in the eyes.
Nemesis: Look what you made me do! I never wanted to do this, but you forced me to do it!
Ebony: I will see my sister. If it's the last thing I'll do…
Ebony's mane moved around Nemesis and ensnared his body.
Nemesis: What?!
Nemesis tried to fight back but couldn't.
Ebony: I learned some other tricks besides my new form!
Ebony fired a beam of magic from her mouth and blew Nemesis back.
Nemesis: (Damn! That hurt!)
Nemesis recovered in mid-flight and barely dodged a punch from Ebony.
Nemesis: That's it…
Nemesis grabbed Ebony's entire leg and rammed his knee into it and broke it.
Ebony screamed in pain where Nemesis headbutted her and made her nose bleed.
Nemesis then launched a powerful uppercut into her gut where she was knocked out of her Cosmic Star form and passed out.
Nemesis grabbed her and just sighed.
Nemesis: You left me no choice…
Later, Ebony was seen lying down in a bed where she woke up and saw that she was inside Twilight's Castle of Friendship and she was in Twilight's room.
Ebony: How did I-
Nemesis: I brought you here.
Ebony looked over and saw Nemesis in his dragon form where he was leaning against the wall.
Nemesis: Gave you a Senzu Bean and set you down.
Ebony: But wait, I was unconscious so how did you…
Ebony realized how Nemesis did it and placed a hoof over her lips.
Nemesis: It never happened. Anyway, let's talk.
Both Ebony and Nemesis were sitting in the kitchen as he brought out nothing but sliced apples.
Ebony: All this time, you lived here by yourself.
Nemesis: Not going to lie, I felt like I was going to go insane just from being alone. But that's not what I want to talk about. I want to talk about you and that spell.
Ebony: Why don't you want to bring our friends back? You could see them again after 1000 years.
Nemesis: Because death itself is a part of life. Even you should know that by now. And Lucky…. Your sister….
Ebony remained silent as Nemesis ate an apple slice.
Nemesis: Before I came to you, I paid her grave a visit. And me and her had a chat.
Ebony: That's right. Your family has a bizarre power to talk to the spirits of the dead and even see them.
Nemesis: Right. And this is what she said…
(Earlier…)
Nemesis was seen looking down at Lucky's grave. Lucky was Ebony's twin sister and the last time they met was when Nemesis left.
Lucky: What made you come back?
Nemesis turned around and saw Lucky's spirit.
Nemesis: Why does it matter?
Lucky: You never do anything unless you have a reason or you're given one. You might've been gone for the last 1000 years, but that doesn't mean I forgot how you behaved.
Nemesis: Well, I think the answer is obvious.
Lucky just chuckled.
Lucky: It sure is. You're on your way to stop my sister aren't you.
Nemesis: She has to understand that there are times when you need to let go.
Lucky: Then tell her this, that I'm always here.
Lucky placed her hoof on Nemesis' chest where his heart is located.
Lucky: And that no matter what, I will always love her as my sister and we'll never truly be apart.
(Back to the present…)
Nemesis told Ebony everything where the latter was in tears.
Ebony: Sis….
Nemesis: I miss my brothers just as much as you miss your sister. But no matter what happens, I know they're always by my side. By memory, and by heart.
Ebony just let the floodgates open as she started to cry.
Nemesis walked over and hugged her as she cried more.
A few minutes went by as Ebony started to calm down where Nemesis redirected her head as they looked into each other's eyes where Nemesis brought her head close as he touched her head with his.
Back with North, Shadox, and Amore, they were getting ready to head home.
North grabbed his bag and noticed something inside and saw he had Sunny's lamp.
North Star: Oh no. I don't know who's going to kill me first. Sunny or Nemesis.
Shadox: Don't worry. It was an accident. I'm sure they'll understand
North Star: Speaking of which, hope Nemesis and Ebony are okay. From what you said, all that distortion was caused by them.
Shadox: Well given the fact that it stopped shows that it's over. And given how there's no sign of that spell being active, I say Nemesis was able to convince Ebony.
Amore: The past is sometimes a treasure we hold dearly to our hearts and memories, but it can also hold us back.
Shadox: But it can also be great motivation.
As they were about to leave, a human walked up to them. He had bright red eyes and crimson red hair while having really dark skin as he was wearing a dark blue gi and a black belt.
Shadox turned around and saw who it was.
Shadox: North, take Amore and go…
North Star: Why, who is it?
Akuma: My name is Akuma. And I am here to see how strong you are!
Shadox: What are you even doing here!?
Akuma: You tell me. Out of nowhere I was pulled into this world away from mine. Then I see the new blood.
Shadox: Whatever your motive is with North, you'll have to get by me!
Akuma: Hmph! Very well.
Shadox: North, you and Amore get behind cover and stay there.
North Star: I don't know what's going on! Shadox, who is that?!
Shadox: His name is Akuma and he's a very dangerous man.
Shadox changed his body into a humanoid form where he morphed his arms into blades.
Shadox: Now do as I say and get to cover!
Amore grabbed North's hoof and pulled him away as they hid behind a big rock.
Amore: Keep your head down and let Shadox do this.
Shadox and Akuma stared at each other as both got into a stance and charged towards each other.
Shadox swung his blades where Akuma blocked them with his own punches.
Shadox then fired red eye beams which Akuma countered with a headbutt.
Akuma: Pathetic!
Akuma did a leg sweep and knocked Shadox off his feet only for the Shadow Knight to turn into a shadow and reappear behind Akuma where he turned his bladed arms into spiked fists.
Akuma did a quick spin around as both fighters countered each other's punches.
Shadox morphed his head into that of an anvil as he was about to headbutt Akuma only for the martial artist to retaliate with his own headbutt and actually break Shadox's construct and stunned the knight.
Akuma punched both of Shadox's spiked fists and destroyed the shapeshifts where he cupped his hands together.
Akuma: GOHADOKEN!
Akuma fired a purple energy projectile into Shadox's chest and sent him flying back.
As he crashed into the dirt.
Shadox: It's times like these I'm glad I don't have a body.
As Shadox got up Akuma did a hurricane kick and sent Shadox crashing into the rock North and Amore were hiding behind.
North Star: Shadox!
North placed his Ziku-Driver on and turned into Zi-O as he got in between the two.
Amore: North!
Shadox: North, get out of here!
North just ignored them as he faced Akuma.
North Star: You said you wanted to fight me? Well here I am!
Akuma: Hmmm. I see you have a sense of honor. For that you already have my respect. Now…
Akuma got into a stance.
Akuma: Let's see how strong you truly are.
North got into a martial arts stance as he was nervous.
North Star: (His own presence…. It's terrifying. But I can't let my fear cloud my judgment. Got to stay calm-)
Akuma charged towards North where the Dragon Prince barely dodged the oncoming punch where North blocked the next one with his arms only to be sent off his feet where he landed back on his feet.
North winced as he felt a sharp pain in his arms.
North Star: That stung!
North then saw Akuma attack and barely dodged it as the punch scraped his helmet.
North reacted fast where he did a backflip kick and made Akuma stumble back.
Akuma walked off the hit as he wiped his face off as he continued his assault.
North Star: There's no choice. Shadox, you and Amore get clear!
Shadox: Oh no.
Shadox grabbed Amore and their things as he took her into the shadows.
Akuma powered up his own fist where North braced himself.
North Star: SHAZAM!
North called down a powerful bolt as it struck both him and Akuma causing a massive explosion.
As the dust cleared, Shadox and Amore re-emerged from the shadows where they saw the ponies from Maretime Bay approaching.
Hitch: What in all of Equestria happened here?
Shadox: Run! Get out of here!
Blaze Chaser: Why? There's nothing here?
Out of nowhere, Akuma punched his way out of the dirt and got up.
Akuma: Is that all you got, boy?!
Everypony backed up in front of the sight of Akuma.
Akuma: Who else dares to challenge me?
North emerged from the ground and lunged towards Akuma.
North Star: Here's a trick you'd never see coming!
Shadox: North, no!
North grabbed hold of Akuma and absorbed and copied his powers only for that power to be dark and corrupted as it blew North off Akuma.
North fell to the ground where Akuma was left in a daze.
Akuma: What did you do?!
Sunny was about to head towards North only for Shadox to stop her.
Shadox: Don't! It's too dangerous. He might be too unstable now.
Sunny: What do you mean?
On cue, a dark aura surrounded North's body where he slowly got up where his eyes glowed red as they shined through the visor of his helmet where he let out a ferocious yell.
Shadox: Just as I feared. He can't control Akuma's powers. Akuma! He absorbed and copied your powers and can't control them!
Akuma: So that's his gift. Very well.
Akuma got into a stance as North remained standing with his arms slumped down.
North then charged towards Akuma with rage and hate and attacked him aggressively.
Zipp: What's wrong with him? That's now how North fights!
Shadox: North absorbed and copied Akuma's powers. Akuma uses a dark power called the Satsui No Hado. A dark power that is powered by rage and hate. This sudden awakening made North's own emotions too spiral out of control, causing that dark power to go wild.
Pipp: So what do we do?
Shadox: Our only shot is Akuma.
Akuma held off North where he did a palm strike on the Dragon Prince's chest who let out a roar which scared the ponies.
Izzy: His sparkle… it's not even a rainbow anymore.
Sunny: What color is it now?
Izzy: It's… black. Just solid pitch black. It's so negative.
North and Akuma sent out a flurry of attacks which countered each other blow for blow where both uppercutted each other back.
Both fighters maintained their footing where both cupped their hands back.
Akuma: SHINKU-HADOKEN!
Akuma fired a more powerful version of his previous technique he did to Shadox where North did the same thing.
Both energy projectiles collided as they exploded from the collision and created a shockwave.
North then performed a certain stance which Shadox knew what it was for.
Shadox: North! Stop! Don't do it!
North then got up one set of toes and glided towards Akuma preparing to finish things only for Nemesis to appear out of nowhere with Ebony where the God of Darkness unleashed a powerful gut punch which stopped North in his tracks.
North exited out of the Satsui No Hado where he fell forward and hit the ground.
Nemesis: All of you leave. NOW!
The ponies left except Sunny and the others as Nemesis faced Akuma.
Nemesis: Akuma…
Akuma: God of Darkness…
Nemesis: Allow me to fix this and get you back to your world.
Akuma: Very well. Though I will return one day. When the boy is ready.
Nemesis: He'll need someone to teach him how to control the Satsui No Hado.
Nemesis then faced Sunny.
Nemesis: You ponies, take him home. I got to get this mess cleaned up.
Des walked up to North and put him on Obsidia's back.
Desna: Move slowly.
The ponies left, leaving Nemesis with Ebony, Shadox, Amore, and Akuma.
Later, North woke up in pain as he was in his bed at the Brighthouse where he saw all his friends surround him with worried expressions.
North Star: What happened?
Nemesis: I'll tell you what happened.
Nemesis walked up to North.
Nemesis: You absorbed Akuma's power. A dark power you can't even control.
North Star: How can I control it?
Nemesis: You can't. The only way to keep it at bay is to keep your emotions in check. Meaning don't get too upset or else the Satsui No Hado will let itself out and you'll lose control again.
North just looked down and gripped his head.
North Star: I need to be alone. Please…
Nemesis nodded as he led the entire group out.
Nemesis: Just so you know kid. Star had the same struggle.
Nemesis left North alone where he was shaken now knowing he had this dark power inside him where Gaia manifested out of him and hugged him.
Gaia: It's going to be okay…
The two remained quiet. Today was not a great day.
