Bellas take care of Charlotte!
Beca knelt down in front of her daughter and looked her in the eyes.
"You be good for the Bellas, alright? Mommy and mamma will be back later." Beca said.
Charlotte nodded.
"And you obey Stacie and Aubrey." Chloe said. "They'll tell us everything later."
"Otay." Charlotte said.
"I love you sweetie." Beca said and gave her a kiss. "Behave, alright?"
"Otay." Charlotte said.
"I love you too, Char." Chloe said, kissing the top of Charlotte's head.
Charlotte smiled as Stacie stood behind her and they both waved.
"Bye mommy! Bye mamma!" she said with a huge smile.
The two got in the cab and drove off. Stacie closed the door and Charlotte looked up at her.
"I'm hunggy." she said.
"You're hungry?" Stacie said and she couldn't say she didn't start to panic. "Charlotte's hungry, what can I give her?"
Aubrey came chuckling and picked Charlotte up.
"You're so new. Let's give her some dinner." she said. "Chloe said we have groceries."
"What are we going to make?" Stacie said. "What kind of food does a 19-month-old eat?"
Aubrey chuckled again and placed Charlotte on one of the chairs and the toddler immediately knelt on it.
"Let's see. Ooh! We have eggs, we can make an omelet with vegetables." Aubrey suggested, taking one egg out, two cherry tomatoes, broccoli and cheese.
"No vezies!" Charlotte frowned and pouted, crossing her arms.
"You know how veggies are important, don't you Char?" Stacie said, sitting beside her as Aubrey started to make the omelet.
Charlotte nodded, but didn't stop pouting and frowning.
"You have to eat them." Stacie said. "How about this, you'll eat and then I'll give you ice cream for dessert?"
"No ice cream, Stace, sugar will energize her." Aubrey said.
"Ice cweam!" Charlotte said.
"Charlotte, you're gonna have to eat the omelet alright? For dessert, you can have some strawberries, do you like them?" Aubrey said.
Charlotte nodded.
"Okay." Aubrey said with a smile.
Stacie rolled her eyes but stayed in the kitchen until after Aubrey had fed Charlotte. Stacie cut up three strawberries in small pieces and gave them to Charlotte and they went to the living room to watch some TV with the rest of the girls.
"How is it taking care of Mini Beca?" Fat Amy asked.
"It's okay. She isn't as stubborn as Beca." Aubrey said.
"Yeah, she ate up all her omelet, isn't that right Char?" Stacie said to Charlotte, who was sitting on her lap eating strawberries.
Charlotte looked up and nodded, her mouth full of strawberries and her hands, cheeks and lips were covered in red.
"Now she's gonna finish those strawberries, wash up and go to bed. Right Char?" Stacie said.
Charlotte, once again, nodded.
"Are they good?" Stacie asked.
Charlotte smiled and nodded.
"Can I have one?" Stacie asked teasingly, only because she knew Charlotte wouldn't give her.
Charlotte grabbed a piece and turned around, handing it out so Stacie could eat it, much to the brunette's surprise. She ate it anyway and smiled at Charlotte's generosity.
"Good?" Charlotte asked.
"Yeah." Stacie smiled after she swallowed.
"Pee pee." Charlotte announced.
"Come on, Char, come on!" Stacie said, putting Charlotte's, now empty, bowl of strawberries on the coffee table and grabbing the toddler's hand, leading her to the closest bathroom.
"You know, Bechloe kid is so adorable." Fat Amy said.
"Bechloe kid?" Jessica asked.
"Beca and Chloe? Bechloe?" Fat Amy asked.
The girls chuckled and nodded.
"She is." Ashley said. "She looks exactly like Beca, but she has Chloe's personality."
"Totes." Aubrey said. "God, she's such a Mini Beca."
"Yeah." the girls agreed.
"I was so scared when I found out about Beca." Aubrey confessed. "I see Charlotte running around, laughing and playing and I.. I feel so thankful because.. because of me something awful could've happened and I would've lost Beca and Chloe and you guys forever."
Aubrey wiped a few tears from her eyes and Jessica came closer and hugged her.
"Stop blaming yourself, nothing happened." Jessica said.
"Actually a lot happened." Fat Amy said. "Beca had a baby, she and Chloe got together because of that baby, so I think everything turned out okay."
Aubrey sighed and wiped the last few tears.
"You're right." she said. "I'm being ridiculous."
Charlotte came running back with a huge smile. She immediately noticed Aubrey's tears, though and ran to her side with a frown.
"No cwy Aubee." she said.
Aubrey smiled and hugged Charlotte tight. She had that great baby smell (and smelled a little like Beca, kinda like a baby Beca) which made Aubrey's heart warm up.
"I love you, Char."
Charlotte squealed and Aubrey let go of her.
"You made me feel a lot better." Aubrey said to the child.
"Yay!" Charlotte clapped, making the blonde giggle.
"I see the strawberry is done, I guess it's time for someone to go to sleep." Stacie said.
Charlotte looked confused, she looked at Aubrey then at Stacie.
"Aubee?" she pointed and asked, making the Bellas laugh.
"No, it's not Aubrey." Stacie chuckled.
"Tacie?" she asked.
"No and it's not the Bellas, it's you." Stacie said.
"Me?" Charlotte asked.
"Yeah. Come on, let's go to sleep." Stacie said. "I'll stay with you until you fall asleep."
"Otay." Charlotte said, grabbing Stacie's hand.
"Aubrey, can you help me?" Stacie asked.
Aubrey frowned.
"Why?" she asked.
"Chloe says she still wears a diaper to sleep and I have no idea how to put that on her." Stacie said.
Aubrey laughed and stood up.
"Thank God you're not a mother yet." she said, following the brunette upstairs.
"Wait, don't you have to bathe her first?" Jessica asked, looking at Charlotte's strawberry covered face.
"You're right." Stacie said.
"Can we do it?" Jessica asked.
"I wanna help!" Ashley said.
"Me too!" Fat Amy said.
Aubrey had to hold herself back from smacking her own forehead.
"They're gonna drown her." Aubrey whispered to Stacie.
"I can stay in the bathroom with them." Stacie offered.
Aubrey took a deep breath.
"Okay then." Aubrey said.
Jessica, Ashley and Fat Amy cheered and ran upstairs.
Charlotte looked up at Aubrey with a scared look.
"I feel you, kid." Aubrey said. "But it's gonna be okay."
Stacie took Charlotte upstairs to her and Aubrey's room. She took off her clothes, grabbed a towel, wrapped her up on it and took her to the bathroom, where the girls had the bath tub filled with warm water.
Charlotte perked up at that and almost threw herself on the tub. She started hitting the water and splashing water everywhere, making the girls laugh and join her while Stacie tried to tell them to stop, failing.
Stacie stepped in, but was splashed with a bunch of water, gasping while the others just laughed.
It took the girls about fifteen minutes to stop and actually clean Charlotte. After they did, they took Charlotte out of the tub, emptying the little water that was left.
Stacie wrapped her up in a towel and was helped the girls clean the bathroom, but when she turned around, there were only teenagers in the room.
"Where's Charlotte?" she asked, going pale.
The girls looked around but shrugged.
"She was here a second ago!" Jessica said.
Stacie shut her eyes for a second before opening them and collecting the towel from the ground.
"Charlotte!" she called, going out to the hall and looking in the rooms. The problem was, the house was pretty big and Charlotte was pretty small.
The others started looking for her, but weren't successful. They went downstairs to see the others in the living room, lying around, watching TV and talking.
"What happened? Are you guys all wet?" Cynthia Rose asked.
"Giving a toddler a bath is not an easy task." Fat Amy said.
"We lost her, she's around the house somewhere." Stacie informed.
"You lost her?" Denise asked.
"How could you lose her, it's a child!" Cynthia Rose said, chuckling.
"I don't know, but we need to find her!" Stacie said. "And it'd be great if you guys could help, please."
"Okay."
The others stood up and started looking around the house, but after a full ten minutes, they came to the conclusion that she wasn't in the house.
"Aubrey!" Fat Amy said. "There's a naked mini Beca on the lose!"
"What?!" the blonde said, coming down the stairs.
"We don't know where she is." Stacie said.
Aubrey groaned.
"You guys are unbelievable! You win the ICCA's but lose a toddler?" Aubrey asked. "We should look by the pool!"
The girls ran outside but Charlotte wasn't in the pool.
"Charlotte!" Aubrey screamed, looking around. "I'll go check the front."
Aubrey was followed by four girls while the others continued looking through the back until the saw a small figure running along the waves.
"Oh my God! Charlotte!" Jessica was the first to call and start running. "Charlotte!"
The others ran after Charlotte, the naked toddler giggled and found it amusing that she was being chased by 8 eights.
Somehow, Charlotte managed to outrun them, going in the ocean direction, making them even more desperate. Suddenly, Aubrey stepped in and grabbed her as she hit the waves, startling the child.
"Charlotte, what were you doing? Do you know how dangerous this is?" she asked, completely desperate.
Charlotte stopped laughing and immediately started crying. Aubrey calmed down and gave her a hug before picking her up.
Everyone went back to the house, the Bellas feeling guiltier than Charlotte, who had managed to stop crying in the meantime.
"I'm not gonna give you another bath, I'm just gonna clean you up with the hose." Aubrey said.
The girls were going to offer their help, but felt too ashamed so they just went back in while Stacie stayed.
"Chloe and Beca will kill us if they find out." Stacie said.
"That was so dangerous, a pervert could've snatched her!" Aubrey said.
Stacie looked down in shame.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have let her get out of my sight." Stacie said.
Aubrey sighed as she finished cleaning Charlotte. Thankfully, the water was warm so there weren't any problems.
"Come on, Char, let's go to bed." Aubrey said, picking the toddler up and going up to her room.
Aubrey put a diaper on Charlotte while the toddler looked around, sang and told a story at the same time. Then she ran to her bed and lied down, pacifier in her mouth.
"Question." Stacie asked. "Why did we put Charlotte's mattress on our room?"
Aubrey chuckled.
"We don't know what time Beca and Chloe are gonna come home, they're gonna change and probably want some privacy, they could wake Charlotte up." Aubrey explained.
"I didn't sign up for a marriage and a child with you." Stacie said as she threw herself on her bed.
Aubrey and Charlotte laughed.
"This is not a marriage. And Charlotte's not our child." Aubrey said.
"I know." Stacie said. "If this was a marriage I'd be getting a lot more action."
"Stacie!" Aubrey warned, indicating Charlotte, who was lying on her side, watching the two while sucking quietly on her pacifier.
"Sorry." Stacie said, sitting up. "I'm tired anyway, I'm gonna change."
"Okay. I'm gonna put on some music for Charlotte." Aubrey said, getting a CD Chloe had given her and putting it on a CD player. A soft, baby lullaby filled the room and Charlotte's eyes immediately grew heavier.
"Goodnight Char." Aubrey said, kissing Charlotte's head.
Charlotte's eyes were closed already and her breathing had become even.
Stacie smiled at the scene after she'd changed and walked over to Charlotte, giving her a kiss too, surprised when the toddler hugged her neck.
"Goodnight, Char." Stacie said.
The two left the door opened, Chloe and Beca's baby monitor beside Charlotte's mattress and the other one on Aubrey's hand.
The two went back to the living room and sat down.
"Everything okay?" Fat Amy asked.
"Yeah. She went out like a light." Stacie said. "Probably tired from all the running."
The girls and even Aubrey chuckled.
"God, she's so cute." Aubrey said.
"Hey, how come you're so good with kids but you don't have a kid?" Stacie asked.
Aubrey frowned.
"What kind of question is that?" Aubrey asked. "I'm good with kids because I have tons of younger cousins."
Stacie nodded.
The girls watched a little bit more of TV before they decided it was time for bed, at around eleven. Beca and Chloe came back home before everyone went to sleep though, so they had a chance to talk to Stacie and Aubrey.
"Everything went great, she had dinner, veggies omelet, then she ate strawberries for dessert, then she went potty before she went to bed without a struggle." Stacie said, deciding to leave the part where she escaped the house naked and went to the beach.
"Yeah. She's in our room, we thought you guys might like some privacy." Aubrey said.
"Thanks, that was so sweet of you!" Chloe said.
"Yeah." Beca said and turned to Chloe. "We should give Char a kiss before we go to bed ourselves, though."
"Yeah." Chloe agreed.
They entered Stacie and Aubrey's room quietly and saw Charlotte sleeping like an angel. They both placed a kiss on her forehead before they went back to their room.
Aubrey and Stacie went to bed and turned off the lamp.
Stacie groaned when, during the night, she felt a weight close to her.
"Aubrey, go back to your side." she whispered.
"I am on my side." Aubrey whispered back.
Stacie frowned and opened her eyes, seeing Charlotte lying down between her and Aubrey. She chuckled quietly and rolled her eyes.
"I did not sign up for that." she whispered.
"Shh, let us sleep." Aubrey whispered, not caring that Charlotte was snuggled up to her.
What do you think it's gonna happen next?
